이용자 선호도 조사를 통한 공간유형별 실내녹화유형 제안 (A Proposal for Indoor Greening Patterns by Space Types through the User's Preference Survey)

  • Because the demand or sensitivity of users of space has an important influence on the direction of design concerning indoor greening, this study examined the customers' preferences and trends for use in this field. By analyzing the results, types of space for indoor greening that can be utilized as indoor greening design such as vegetation selection, space positioning, design types, etc. were derived. The research and analysis was set for living space, business space, commercial space and public space. For each space, there were vegetations in over 50% of the space, and in all the spaces, the majority of people were of the positive opinion. As the desired space for the introduction of indoor greening, high levels of preference were seen in the following areas: 'veranda' and 'living room' for the residential space; 'main work space' and 'resting space' for the office space; and 'rest area,' 'entrance area' and 'lobby area' for the public space and commercial space. The preference of each of the spaces displayed slightly different trends in accordance with the characteristics of space and users. If indoor greening space were to be designed for these spaces according to the types, which are derived from the preference levels examined in this study, it is deemed that the satisfaction levels of users of the spaces could be increased.

복합주택의 외부공간 형성요인과 활용방안에 관한 연구 -대구광역시 시지택지개발지구를 대상으로- (A Study on the Application and the Forming Factors of the Outdoor-Space of the Mixed-Use Dwellings -Focused on Si-Ji Housing Development District in Daegu-)

  • It seems that outdoor-space has been properly neither planned nor used in the Mixed-Use Dwellings. The purpose of this research is to analyze the present condition and problems of outdoor-space utilization in the Mixed-Use Dwellings to find the application and the correlativity between outdoor-space types and forming factors. The results are as follows; 1) Entire samples of outdoor-space are classified into 6 groups by the road and site jointing type and the building layout type. 2) There are 5 prime factors forming and utilizing outdoor-space, which are the hierarchy of the road, the way of parking area utilization, the types of business in the commercial part, combining type of two uses which are residential and commercial, and the type of access to each part of them. 3) Amongst the factors, the way of parking area utilization, combining type, and the type of access are greatly related to the type of outdoor-space in the Mixed-Use Dwellings.

토지이용 유형별 회전교차로 교통사고모형 (Traffic Accident Model of Roundabout based on Type of Land Use)

  • OBJECTIVES : The objective of this study is to develop a traffic accident model of a roundabout based on the type of land use. METHODS : The traffic accident data from 2010 to 2014 were collected from the "traffic accident analysis system (TAAS)" data set of the Road Traffic Authority. A multiple linear regression model was utilized in this study to analyze the accidents based on the type of land use. Variables such as geometry and traffic volume were used to develop the accident models based on the type of land use. RESULTS : The main results are as follows. First, the null hypothesis that the type of land use does not affect the number of accidents is rejected. Second, four accident models based on the type of land use have been developed, which are statistically significant (high $R^2$ values). Finally, the total entering and circulating volumes, area of the central island, number of speed breakers, mean number of entry lanes, diameter of the inscribed circle, mean width of the entry lane, area of the roundabout, bus stops, and number of circulatory roadways are analyzed to see how they affect the accident for each type of land use. CONCLUSIONS : The development of the accident models based on the type of land use has revealed that the accident factors at a roundabout are different for each case. Thus, more speed breakers in commercial areas and an inscribed circle of proper diameter in commercial and residential areas are determined to be important for reducing the number of accidents. Additionally, expanding the width of the entry lanes, decreasing the area of the roundabouts in residential areas, and reducing the conflict factors such as bus stops in green spaces are determined to be important.

도심복합시설의 공간용도구성 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Space Composition Characteristics in the Urban Complex Building)

  • The city means not only a geographical area as a role of the spatial boundary, but also a socio-economic place to communicate with each area. It requires various functions to get the income and economic-activities. But city has a limitation of a available land to provide the required functions and a sufficient space to supply the urban activity. Therefore, the development trend of city has not been to spread to the horizontal area any more and considered the vertical area. In addition, various functions put into a massive building because many people want to solve the daily requirements without spending time and cost in outer area. In this paper, it aimed at classifying the mixed-use building into function, circulation, relation according to the public and private space and the building shape to provide the design information such as land area, functional complex, accessibility, etc.. The classification of the mixed-use buildings is divided into four areas. The data are collected with foreign countries in Japan, Europe and US. Results of the study are as follows; First, the commercial function is mainly centered with other functions. Second, after studied the development scale, accessibility, building form, the commercial and residential area overwhelmly share at the total area.

서울시 역세권의 유형화에 관한 연구 (요일별 시간대별 지하철 이용인구를 중심으로) (A Study on Categorizing Subway Station Areas in Seoul by Rail Use Pattern)

  • 본 연구는 요일별 시간대별 지하철역의 이용인구를 중심으로 서울시의 역세권을 유형화한 후 이를 토대로 토지이용특성과의 연관성을 살펴보았다. 역세권 유형화를 위하여 지하철역 이용특성 자료를 이용하여 요인분석을 실시하였으며, 토지이용특성과의 연관성을 파악하기 위하여 다차원척도법을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 서울시의 지하철의 역세권이 주거, 상업 및 여가, 그리고 업무중심우위으로 분류할 수 있음을 보여주고 있다. 또한 본 연구에서는 주거/상업, 주거/업무 주거/상업/업무 등의 다기능 우위를 지닌, 즉, 복합적 이용특성을 가진 다수의 지하철역도 파악되었다. 이러한 복합적 이용기능의 특성은 최근 논의되고 있는 역세권개발과 대중교통지향형 도시개발의 논의를 활성화하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다. 또한 기존의 역세권 유형화 연구가 대부분 도시공간구조나 토지이용특성을 가지고 계획적 측면에서 접근한 반면에, 본 연구가 지하철역의 이용패턴을 통하여 실증적으로 역세권을 유형화하고 있다는 점에서 중요한 차이가 있다.

진주시 교통사고의 시계열적 공간분포특성 분석 (Analysis of Temporal and Spatial Distribution of Traffic Accidents in Jinju)

  • 도시공간에서 토지이용변화는 교통량을 유발하고 이에 따른 교통사고발생이 상호 밀접한 관계를 갖고 있으므로 토지이용변화에 따른 교통사고발생원인 분석은 교통사고저감대책 수립에 중요한 요소로 판단된다. 이에 지방 중소도시인 진주시를 대상으로 5년간(2009년~2013년)의 교통사고 데이터를 주거지역과 상업지역의 사고 발생빈도와 최근린 분석기법에 의한 군집도를 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 교통사고의 발생빈도는 봄에 가장 많았고 겨울이 가장 작게 발생하였다. 또한 주간과 야간의 교통사고 발생빈도는 주간이 야간에 비해 조금 더 많이 발생하였으나 교통사고발생 군집도는 야간이 주간에 비해 강하게 나타났다. 그리고 토지용도에 따른 교통사고 군집도 분석에서 상업지역은 계절에 따른 변화가 크지 않았으나 주거지역은 겨울철에 군집밀도가 크게 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 교통사고 유형에 따른 분석 결과 차 대 차의 측면직각추돌사고가 가장 높은 발생빈도를 보였으며 상업지역과 주거지역에 모두 광범위하게 발생되는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과는 도시공간구조에서 교통사고 발생패턴을 파악하는데 중요한 정보가 될 수 있으며, 향후 교통사고저감대책을 수립하는데 유용하게 활용될 것으로 예상된다.

토지이용형태가 도시열섬현상에 미치는 영향 - 충주시를 사례로 - (Effects of Land Use Pattern on Urban Heat Island in Chungju City)

  • The present study investigated the causes and intensity of the urban heat island phenomenon by the seasons according to the pattern of land use in Chungju City. Highest temperature and lowest moisture areas of the urban were very similar to the distribution of commercial districts, on the other hand, lowest temperature and highest moisture areas were distributed in manufacturing districts, green zones and the Hoam Lake. If appear at intensity of the distance from the outer circumference of commercial districts, wind direction and the rise of temperature, we could observe the remarkable expansion of high temperature from commercial districts toward residential districts around of downwind in all seasons. In case the effect of the wind was not significant as well, high temperature in commercial districts appeared tendency that a little spread to 1, 2 residential districts around. But checked up the intimate relations between the amount of moving heat and wind, when out of consideration that size of area was not much compared than residential areas of downwind affected by the wind. These phenomenon was relatively obvious in summer, the other side, in spring and autumn appeared a similar tendency.

Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conversion : Recent Progress

  • Along with fusion energy, photovoltaic solar energy conversion has long been considered as one of the few sustainable options for large scale energy supply in the future. In the past, commercial use has been restricted largely to remote area applications where conventional electricity is expensive. However, 1998 marked a year of transition where the major application of the cells changed to become generation of residential electricity in urban areas already supplied by the conventional grid. The current state of the technology is discussed as are major overseas programs to accelerate the urban residential use of photovoltaics, particularly in Japan, Europe and the United States, includng the "million roof" program in the latter. Finally, the planned use of photovoltaics in the Sydney 2000 Olympics is described, where the technology will be used to provide most of the electricity requirements of the 665 residences which will be a legacy of the Olympic Village.

GIS DB를 이용한 토지이용 특성 분석 - 부산광역시 건물 높이 시뮬레이션을 중심으로 - (Analysis of Land Use Characteristics Using GIS DB - A Case Study of Busan Metropolitan City in Korea -)

  • 급격한 도시의 발전을 거듭해 갈수록 인구과밀, 공해오염, 도시 위생문제 등이 발생하면서 상충하는 용도 간의 분리 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이러한 관점에서 도시의 토지이용이 계획적으로 이루어져야 함에는 이견이 없을 것이다. 따라서 토지공간의 제반 활동을 미리 예측하고 계획적으로 세워 토지이용을 합리적으로 구축하여야 한다. 본 연구는 구축된 데이터를 이용하여 부산광역시의 주거지역, 상업지역, 공업지역 용도분포특성 현황을 비교 분석하여 부산광역시 구·군의 용도지역별 건축물 면적 현황, 연면적, 용적률을 파악하였다. 그 결과 용도지역별 면적 중 주거지역의 비율이 51%로 가장 큰 비율을 차지하고 있었으며, 용도지역별 연면적 중 주거지역의 비율이 63%로 가장 큰 비율을 차지하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 토지이용구성비만으로 지역특성을 파악할 수 있는 특화계수를 사용하여 분석하였다. 면적의 절댓값을 집계하는 것만으로는 지역 전체의 경향을 파악하기 어렵기 때문에 면적 구성비를 계산하여 비교하였다. 용도지역별 특화계수 중 주거시설을 보면 기장군, 사상구, 사하구, 중구 이외에는 1.0 이상을 나타내고 있다. 상업시설은 기장군, 강서구, 남구, 사상구, 사하구 이외에는 1.0 이상을 공업시설을 보면 강서구(2.5), 기장군(1.22), 사상구(2.06), 사하구(1.64)로 공단분포지역임을 알 수 있다. 이외 업무시설과 문교후생시설은 골고루 분포되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 용도지역별 각 표고에 따른 건축물 높이 현황과 용도지역별 건축물 높이 시뮬레이션을 통한 토지이용 분석을 실시하였다. 전반적으로 부산시는 80m 이상의 지역이 43% 이상을 차지하고 있어, 용도지역의 분포가 지형적인 조건의 영향으로 표고가 높은 지역에 지정되어 있음을 알 수 있었다.

야간사용량 측정을 통한 배급수구역 배경야간최소유량 산정 (Estimation of background minimum night flows by metering water use in water distribution areas)

  • The aim of this study is to develop a quantified water loss Index to evaluate and manage leakage scientifically for the reduction of non-revenue water in water distribution systems. For the purpose, unavoidable background leakage suggested from UK water industry and IWA, and allowable water leakage in accord with the concept of allowable water loss are proposed by analyzing the inflow into two study water districts and the short-term water use of each customer in the districts. The study distribution areas are selected among the metered districts with good maintenance of leakage after improvement activities in Nonsan, medium sized city in Korea. Estimation models of allowable leakage are developed by metering and analyzing the minimum night flow at residential and commercial areas in the city. In the results of the investigation, it is estimated that background night flow in residential area was larger than that of commercial area where the types of business shows small water use characteristics. Meanwhile, night flow and background water loss on internal plumbing systems show great differences for each district which is influenced much by the water use characteristics and facilities scale. Based on metering water use data in various districts, leakage management criteria can be established under the consideration of domestic conditions in Korea by analyzing separated real water use and background leakage and it is possible to apply into presentation of optimal leakage level and reasonable time for working activities for leakage reduction.
