The planning of the central green space (residential park) in a residential quarter is an effective way of increasing public space in the process of urban development and urban renewal. It is regarded as an important technical project in the detail plan of a residential quarter in order to create a better environment in the residential quarters. The scale of a residential park, normally not less than 5000㎡, is defined according to the land-use conditions and the local population. The site should have easy access for the residents, and fit into the surrounding landscape and Fengshui whenever possible. It should also satisfy various leisure needs of the local residents at all ages. The design of the park should be friendly to the residents'interests, hobbies and aspirations. The artistic style of the landscape is to emphasize on delightfulness, harmony and warmness.

Korea is facing a serious elderly problem, because the elderly population and households have been increasing radically. To cope with the coming elderly problem, social welfare services and elderly housing need to be carefully prepared. Especially, elderly housing has been recognized to be promising to solve the great portion of the problem. In this point of view, I attempted, in this study, to show the theoretical bases on the residential environment for the elderly households and their residential consciousness. I make a survey of residential consciousness of the elderly on 575 Koreans aged 60 or more, and analyze the difference of residential consciousness of them by regional comparison of the elderly. The result of this study will be expected to be a reference to the housing planning for the elderly household in Korea.

This study deals with the analysis of how the residential space of the farmhouses which were recently built by farmer's free intent with the help of a person who is related with architecture was changed. So that this study is aimed at grasping how the spatial structure of recent farmhouses in the southern part of Yongdong area continues to be kept and changed according to the modernization and urbanization. Also it includes grasping the trend of spatial transformation and constancy about the recent farmhouses through the analysis of living elements as well as the extension, renewal and rehabilitation of residential space.

In this paper, traditional residential architecture in South Korea appear to approach environmental regulation as part of ecological architecture of regional climate controlled environment, according to the characteristics and spatial arrangement, and material to the environment was described as a controlled manner. The scope of this study was not large scale housing construction from traditional chusagotaek, yunjeunggotaek, yangjindang, dokrakdang target was the case. Focusing on examples extracted from Korea first eco-friendly characteristics of traditional residential architecture is an extension of nature to explore space and yard space, and South Korea by way of environmental control that appears in traditional architecture, waterproof, moisture, solar radiation, sunlight, ventilation and air Attributes such as environmental regulation and environmental regulation of space, place and manner of materials were described. Korea's research through more traditional residential architecture of the environmental control and a wide range of environmentally friendly eco-construction was that appeared natural to use energy efficiently, it had been available. Later appeared on the Korea traditional architecture through research on environmental control of environmentally friendly ways to navigate and take advantage of the elements, through continuous research and eco-friendly construction to realize the traditional South Korea could provide a prototype of the modern, I thought I'd had.

This study aims to analyze the changes of adjacent residential area after the restoration of covered urban streams in seoul. The changes of adjacent residential area after restoration were analyzed by changes of land using, urban structure, individual lot of land and architecture to investigate relationship of the urban stream and residential change. The result as follows: the first one is the change of land use and urban structure in adjacent residential area. This change of infrastructure through stream restoration has transformed land use and urban structure in adjacent residential area. Secondly, there is the changes of the individual lot of land. It seemed that new development by combined lots would be concentrated in stream-side blocks. But, the changes of lots such as combining or dividing lots tend to be concentrated in stream-side, main road and main streets. In stream-side, commercial function of land use has changed to residential one which has restored streams landscape by transformation of lots use without changes of ownership-lots. Finally, there is the change of architecture. It turned out new building in adjacent residential area is similar to general development. However, new building in streamside is related to direction of stream. In addition, remodeling and expansion tend to change in commercial buildings on stream-side bridges of corner lots intensively. As a result, it is related to expectation of architectural activation and improvement of sidewalk environment by stream restoration.

최근 데이터 분석에 대한 관심이 높아지며 공학, 자연과학, 사회과학 영역 등 다양한 분야에서 데이터 분석을 통한 융·복합 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 건축분야 역시 데이터 분석을 활용한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있으며 특히, 이를 통해 도시화 과정을 통해 양적 확대를 진행해왔던 건축분야의 문제점을 해결하고자 하는 노력이 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 도시재생사업을 통한 주거환경 개선지역과 유사 인근지역 주거자의 주거만족도에 대한 데이터 분석을 수행한다. 건물 건축과 입주 후 진행되는 거주 후 평가 요소에 대해 R을 활용한 분석을 통해 각 평가 요소 간의 연관규칙 분석과 거주자의 주요 요구 사항의 빈도 수 파악을 통해 주거환경 만족도에 영향을 미치는 중요 평가 항목을 파악한다. 이를 통해, 향후 건축 분야에서 주거지 구성 시 양질의 주거 공간 확보를 위한 데이터 제공과 함께 양질의 주거지역을 추천할 수 있는 시스템의 개발 등 IT와 건축분야 간의 융·복합 연구를 진행하고자 한다.

Recently, curtainwall is built according to expand residential-commercial complex and high-raised buildings in residential buildings. It is that curtainwall has advantage to provide for the building occupants a connection between indoor spaces and the outdoors through the introduction of daylight and views into the regularly occupied areas of the building. These buildings also make a result increasing the amount used energy in domestic residence. Therefore, Aims of this study is to suggest advanced design through analysis of daylight, energy and envelope elements in GBCC and glazing simulation depended on case studies.

Now architecture has been become a significant element which is able to determine the competitiveness as a cultural product by going beyond the concept that architecture offer a space for just residence and office. From old times, planning and managing the urban space create living space to be more comfortable and efficient. Nevertheless, all of a public and private have resolved urban problems only to create economy growth by shortsighted approach. Therefore, a more macroscopic for composing an urban environment emerged the need for access in terms of the plan, to these aspects of the landscape and urban residential environment that can be applied to the United States's PUD techniques and focus on the development of urban space cases by applied PUD to improve a more rational and efficient urban space and to creation lively dwelling environment and the favorable landscapes forming want to try.

This study focused on the changes of residential area around the linear park. The goal of this study is to determine the value of linear park at the view of residents and discover the interaction between the linear park and the residential area around it. To investigate this goal, the researcher chose case sites, the regenerated linear park and the uncovered stream park. This study analyzed the site around the linear parks with four points of view, the organization of urban Fabric, architecture, the economic value of the site and the behavior of residents. This research adopted several research methodologies like aerial photograph analysis, road-view analysis, paper research, and field study, observation, and expert interview to approach as both quantitative and qualitative analysis. With that variation characteristic, the researcher determines the influence of linear park through the residential area around them. As the result, linear park gives positive effects of running sustainable residential area around them and acting as the pivot for the residential area. Also for the future, designers must consider this interactive relation between the linear park and residential area with the wide point of view.

The study is to provide the guidelines for the classification of residential zoning System in Seoul which reflect district characteristics. To this end, we first identify the problems the residential areas of Seoul are facing, and set up the policy goals and guidelines for refinding the zoning system for residential areas. Also, this study reviewed density control in he classification of residential zoning system, based on the guidelines of density, which included height, ratio of total floor to ground area, and land distribution.
