보안 및 효율성을 고려한 관광 예약 정보 시스템 (Tourism Information Reservation System considering the Security and Efficiency)

  • As new Information technology such as IoT develops rapidly, a lot of changes are occurred in our lives. The Internet of Things is the network of physical objects or things embedded with electronics, software, sensors and connectivity to enable it to achieve greater value and service by exchanging data with the manufacturer, operator and/or other connected devices. This change is also applied to tourism industry. These days many people make a tour reservation using the internet. But it is required to consider the efficiency and security of tour reservation system. In this paper, we suggest a tour reservation system. First, we describe the computer reservation system, hotel reservation system and reservation system. Second, we perform the modeling of general reservation system and suggested reservation system. Third, performance evaluation is carried out with respect to efficiency and security. The results show that the suggested reservation system has a better performance than a general reservation system. At last we described the results and future works.

  • Objective: To improve customer satisfaction through accurate information using computerized automation of the test reservation system and by performing all fasting tests on the same day with one fasting. Methods: Quality improvement activities of the test reservation system of Seoul National University Bundang Hospital improves internal and external customer satisfaction at the time of test scheduling by having the reservation system reflect test order and test time automatically and making the system to increase the same day test reservation rate. Results: Test process was smooth due to accurate test reservation and information based on test priority due to the introduction of the computerized test reservation system. Internal and external customer satisfaction improved due to the marked reduction in time required for making a reservation thanks to the improvement of work process. Conclusion: Building a computerized test reservation system was an effective measure to improve external and internal customer satisfaction.

주부의 요구賃金 결정요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reservation Wage of Housewife)

  • This study attempts to apply its result to decision whether housewives are in the labor market or not by investigating the level of reservation wage of them and the influencing factors on it. The purpose of this study is to analyse the effects by identifying , on the basis of theoretical models, the factors that influence reservation wage, and to predict future state of female employment. 1) The level of reservation wage of housewives showed significant differences by husband's income, household asset, housewife's education level, housewife's age, number of children division of husband in household labor, and by three marketization of housework. 2) The variables which affected reservation wage of housewife independently had influence on it in the following order: Husband's income, education level, age affect positively reservation wage of housewife, and a negative relation has been found between division of husband, level of commodity substitution and reservation wage of housewife. 3) Husband's income, housewife's education level, housewife's age, division of husband in household labor, level of commodity substitution give direct effects on reservation wage of housewife. Education level, age, number of children and family type influenced reservation wage of housewife through level of commodity substitution indirectly.

IEEE 802.11 무선 랜에서 성능 향상을 위한 채널 예약 기반 DCF MAC 프로토콜 (Channel Reservation based DCF MAC Protocol for Improving Performance in IEEE 802.11 WLANs)

  • In the IEEE 802.11 DCF (Distributed Coordination Function) protocol, the binary exponential backoff algorithm is used to avoid data collisions. However, as the number of stations increases of, the collision probability tends to grow and the overall network performance is reduced. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a data transmission scheme based on the channel reservation method. In the proposed scheme, channel time is divided into reservation period and contention period. During the reservation period, stations succeeded in channel reservation transmit their own data packets in sequence without contention. During the contention period, each station sends its data packets through contentions as in DCF. During both the reservation period and the contention period, each station sends a request for channel reservation for the next reservation period to an AP (Access Point). After receiving such a channel reservation request from each station, the AP decides whether the reservation is succeeded and sends the result via a beacon frame to each station. Performance of the proposed scheme is analyzed through simulations. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme tends to reduce the collision probability of DCF and to improve the overall network performance.

Contention-based Reservation MAC Protocol for Burst Traffic in Wireless Packet Networks

  • In this paper, centralized access control and slot allocation algorithm is proposed for wireless networks. The proposed algorithm is characterized by the contention-based reservation. In order to reduce the collision probability of reservation request, the base station calculates and broadcasts the transmission probability of reservation requests, and the wireless terminal transmits its reservation request with the received transmission probability. The scheduler allocates the uplink data slots based on the successful reservation requests. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithms can provide high channel utilization, and furthermore, maintains constant delay performance in the heavy traffic environment.

A Study on the Differences in the Cognition of the Visitor-Reservation System: Focused on Uiryeong-Gil Area in Bukhansan National Park

  • This study aims to verify a difference between the years 2014 and 2019 of Uiryeong-Gil, which is operated by the Visitor-Reservation System, in terms of the cognition of system, operational effectiveness, and behavioral intention. The analysis is as follows. First, among the overall cognition of the Visitor-Reservation System, the satisfaction from - prevention for safety for accident, expansion to other parks, number of visitor restriction, and satisfaction with reservation method - increased compared to 2014. Second, among the effects of the Visitor-Reservation System operation, satisfaction shows differences in year-to-year levels in terms of resource protection, resource damage mitigation efficiency, natural experience opportunity, comfort of visit-environment, and prevention of illegal activities. Third, the analysis of the differences in the behavior of the Visitor-Reservation System showed that the satisfaction of visitors, revisit intention, and overall satisfaction differed per year. The results of this study are meaningful in that the Visitor-Reservation System is no longer the restriction, but the change in cognition for the protection of ecosystems and sustainable visiting in order to expand the Visitor-Reservation System into a sustainable policy.

  • Aiming at the problem of service reliability in resource reservation in cloud computing environments, a model of dynamic cloud resource reservation based on trust is proposed. A domain-specific cloud management architecture is designed in which resources are divided into different management domains according to the types of service for easier management. A dynamic resource reservation mechanism (DRRM) is used to test users' reservation requests and reserve resources for users. According to user preference, several resources are chosen to be candidate resources by fuzzy cluster analysis. The fuzzy evaluation method and a two-way trust evaluation mechanism are adopted to improve the availability and credibility of the model. An analysis and simulation experiments show that this model can increase the flexibility of resource reservation and improve user satisfaction.

  • We discuss the problem of resource reservation, such as bandwidth, for delay sensitive application in wireless networking environment. As multimedia application is becoming a critical role of the current mobile network, the resource reservation become very important to support the real-time service. In this paper, we propose and evaluate a new resource reservation protocol, called Split Reservation Protocol, in wireless network. The simulation results show that our proposed protocol outperforms an existing protocol called MPSVP in terms of network overhead.

Hotel Reservation Service, Customer Expectations, Brand Attachment, and Brand Loyalty: Effects of Package Product Reservation

  • Purpose - This study examines various reservation service components that would increase customers' brand attachment and loyalty, while discussing how reservation service components would affect the customer behaviors. Research design, data, and methodology - This study theoretically analyzed the hotel package product reservation system, the customer expectations, the brand attachment, and the brand loyalty, while reviewing previous studies. Results - This study analyzed the distribution channels of the hotel package products from various angles and, as for more extensive research, the study explained the different results caused by each different reservation system type that may be preferred by each individual customer. Conclusions - It was confirmed that, of the hotel reservation service components, the convenience factors, the reliability factors, the information factors, and the other factors other than the human factors, have a significant influence on the customer expectations. Further, the study also revealed that the customer expectation has an important effect on the brand attachment. In addition, the study improved the prevailing understanding on the relation between the brand attachment and the brand loyalty.

국립공원 탐방예약제 시행에 대한 탐방객 의식 조사 - 설악산국립공원 탐방객을 대상으로- (A Survey on the Visitor's Cognition of Visitor Reservation System in National Park - The Case Study of Soraksan National Park -)

  • 본 연구는 2001~2002년에 걸쳐 설악산 국립공원에서 시범 시행되었던 탐방예약제에 대한 탐방객들의 인식을 조사.분석하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 탐방예약제가 시행된 기간 중에 설악산 국립공원을 찾은 탐방객들을 대상으로 사회경제적 특성, 방문유형과 이용행태, 탐방예약제의 시행에 대한 인식 등을 주요 내용으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 회수된 170부의 설문지 중 분석이 가능한 유효표본은 165부였다. 분석결과, 응답자들의 사회경제적 특성, 방문유형 등은 다른 국립공원의 탐방객 조사에서 나타난 결과와 유사한 경향을 보였다. 응답자 대부분은 탐방예약제의 시행을 인지하고 있었으며, 탐방예약제의 도입에 대해서도 긍정적인 반응을 나타냈다. 또한, 응답자들은 대체로 국립공원 관리공단에서 시행하는 제도(자연휴식년제, 시설물 예약제 등)에 대해서 부정적인 인식을 지니고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 탐방예약제 구간의 확대시행에 대해서는 긍정적인 인식과 부정적인 인식이 거의 동등하게 나타났으며, 탐방예약제의 원활한 운영을 위해 예약 불이행자에 대한 적절한 페널티제도의 도입에 대해서는 찬성하는 응답이 높게 나타났다.
