  • The main purpose of this study was to identify the topics and research trends of international cadastral research using LDA. To achieve this goal, I reviewed the literature on LDA and international cadastral study and formulated four research questions that are topics of cadastral researchers, distribution of topics, the most influential topics and changes of topics over time. To answer these research questions, I analyzed 370 papers published in the FIG Peer Review Journal between January 1, 2008, and October 31, 2017, using LDA. As a result of the analysis, I confirmed that there are twelve major topics in international cadastral research. And the most influential topic of these topics was identified as topic 2(cadastral information systems), and topic 5(land development and land administration) was also confirmed as playing an important role in the overall document. These two topics have been the most popular topics whose trendlines have been very active over the past decade and will play a leading role in future cadastral research.

  • The concept of social media is top of the agenda for many business executives and decision makers, as well as consultants try to identify ways where companies can make profitable use of applications such as Netflix, Flixster. The social media is playing an increasingly important role as the information sources for customers making product choices etc. With the flourish of Web 2.0 technology, customer reviews are becoming more and more useful and important information resources for people to save their time and energy on purchasing products that they want. This paper proposes the Bayesian Probabilistic Classification algorithm to mine the social media review, and evaluates it by different splits and cross validation mechanism from the real data set. The explored study experimental results show the robustness and effectiveness of proposed approach for mining the social media review.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this integrative review was to synthesize previous research on perceptions of school health care among school-aged children and adolescents with chronic diseases. Methods: This study was performed in accordance with Whittemore and Knafl's stages of an integrative review (problem identification, literature search, data evaluation, data analysis, and presentation of the results). Four databases (PubMed, CINAHL, Embase, and Web of Science) were used to retrieve relevant articles. Results: Eighteen articles were included in this review. We identified five thematic categories: peer-related issues, a safe school environment, self-perception of an existing disease, self-management, and a supportive school environment. Conclusion: It is necessary to establish a school health care system with a supportive environment for children and adolescents with chronic diseases.

  • The purpose of this case study is to understand the sustainability practices of knowledge transfer process at the Malaysian government-industry-academia consortium. At this stage in the research, the R&D consortium is defined as an established entity by two or more organizations that pool resources and shared decision making for cooperative research and development activities. In attempts to understand the formation, outcomes and sustainability of the sustainable knowledge transfer process, this paper conducted a systematic literature review based on Gough, Oliver and Thomas systematic reviews protocol. From the review, the data were enriched and enhanced with a better understanding of sustainable knowledge transfer process. The systematic review resulted in identifying six factors including internal and external perspectives. However, key sustainability factors are not only directly influencing KTP, and the consortium, but are also mediated by other organisational variables.

  • This study is trying to classify and analyse the Internet shopping mall related studies from 1997 to 2006 in order to provide comprehensive view about Internet shopping mall. Another aim of this study is to give the future research themes around this area through consideration of needed research parts. First, we summarise the related terms, definitions and classification of Internet shopping mall itself. Then we classify the studies into two groups - researches about company behavior and researches about consumer behavior. We review the studies of each categories and classify them into more detail area. Finally we attempt to give integrated frameworks of each categories.

  • Addressing challenging behavior in young children with special needs is an important issue. This study analyzed the results of literature on parent-implemented behavioral interventions designed to manage the challenging behavior of children with developmental disabilities under 8 years of age. Seventeen relevant studies published in peer-reviewed English journals during the last 15 years were selected for review. The literature review showed that adequately trained parents can serve as a competent intervention agent, thereby making significant contributions to mitigating children's behavior problems. The reviewed studies also demonstrated that parents could play a variety of important roles such as informants and trainers in behavioral interventions. However, the conclusions on parent-implemented behavioral intervention may be tentative rather than conclusive due to previous research limitations including the lack of treatment integrity and social validity data. In addition, this review discussed several implications for practitioners, indicated the limitations of the reviewed studies, and presented suggestions for future research.

  • Objectives : This study were invesitigated papers published in international journals to assess the effect of Korean Medicine treatments for menopausal depression. Through this review, we aimed to research more effective ways of menopausal depression treatment. Methods : The database of this review was created through searching PubMed from Jan, 2005 to Feb, 2015 : using terms of ‘menopausal depression’ and ‘post menopausal depression’ with ‘acupuncture’, ‘alternative medicine’, ‘CAM’ and ‘herbal medicine’. Results : 119 studies were analyzed but some of them were excluded due to lack of relevance or noncomformity of subjects. Finally, 16 studies were included in this review. Conclusions : In 16 studies, the acupuncture and herb decoction had significant interventions to improve menopausal depression. Therefore Acupuncture and herbal medicine may be effective treatment method of menopausal depression.

  • In recent years, advancing technology and growing interest in neuromarketing and neurobranding have led to foundational research that facilitates a better understanding of consumers' affective responses and unconscious information processing. However, the areas of aesthetics and design have remained largely unaffected by such advances and implications. The purpose of this study is to present a systematic review of the neuroscientific evidence aimed at sensible design for design and marketing researchers interested in exploring neuroaesthetics, an interdisciplinary area by nature. Sciencedirect, EBSCO, and the Google Scholar database were searched in February 2014 to select and review previous studies of aesthetics involving neuroscience. Twenty-eight studies were reviewed and divided into two categories: reward system and emotion. In addition to discussions on previous approaches, future research directions focusing on the process of aesthetic judgments (e.g., design elements, marketing stimuli) are proposed.

  • Evidence based medicine involves using both the individual clinician's expertise and the current best available external clinical evidence from systematic research in deciding on the appropriate care for individual patients. The current approach to evidence based practice in healthcare adds a third component which is patient values. Evidence based practice is thus a triad, in which the practitioner's expertise, research evidence and the patient's values are all given consideration. The balance to be struck between them depends on the individual case. The literature indicates that complementary medicine practitioners are moving away from traditional knowledge and towards the use of evidence based practice in their clinical discussions. In the context of the daily practice of complementary medicine practitioners and their continuing development of their knowledge base of evidence based practice, this short review discusses the good and bad of a review journal article.

  • This paper presents the recent research developments identified through a review of literature on the application of artificial intelligence in developing automated designs of fire protection facilities. The literature review covered research related to image recognition and applicable neural networks. Firstly, it was found that convolutional neural network (CNN) may be applied to the development of automating the design of fire protection facilities. It requires a high level of object detection accuracy necessitating the classification of each object making up the image. Secondly, to ensure accurate object detection and building information, the data need to be pulled from architectural drawings. Thirdly, by applying image recognition and classification, this can be done by extracting wall and surface information using dimension lines and pixels. All combined, the current review of literature strongly indicates that it is possible to develop automated designs for fire protection utilizing artificial intelligence.
