Research on the Influence of Curiosity on MMORPG Grinding Player Experience

  • In MMORPGs, there are many problems with the Grinding player experience. This research divides the Grinding player experience into four dimensions: Grinding in-Autonomy, Competence, Relatedness and Positive affect through theoretical investigation of game experience. Through the study of Litman (2008), Curiosity is divided into two dimensions, I-Type Curiosity and D-Type Curiosity, and the relationship between Curiosity and Grinding player experience is studied. By distributing questionnaires, collecting data, and using SPSS software to conduct reliability analysis, validity analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis on the data, it is verified that in MMORPG, I-Type Curiosity can positively affect Grinding in-Autonomy, Competence, Relatedness and Positive affect. D-Type Curiosity can positively affect Grinding in-Autonomy, Competence and Positive affect, but D-Type Curiosity has no statistical relationship with Grinding in-Relatedness. And through the standardized coefficient (Beta) value, between the Curiosity factors, I-Type Curiosity has a greater impact on Grinding in-Autonomy and Positive affect, and D-Type Curiosity has a greater impact on Grinding in-Competence. Finally, from the perspective of I-Type Curiosity and D-Type Curiosity, combined with the drawbacks of the MMORPG Gringding mechanism, some concrete and feasible suggestions and optimization schemes are put forward to improve the Grinding player experience. This research result can provide some feasible suggestions for MMORPG developers and designers, optimize the MMORPG Grinding mechanism from the perspective of I-Type Curiosity and D-Type Curiosity, and improve the Grinding player experience. It can provide appropriate assistance for the improved development of MMORPG games.

Consumers' Tolerance When Confronted with Different Service Types in Service Retailing

  • Purpose: With the popularity of artificial intelligence (AI) in the service industry and occurrence ofservice failures in AI-based services, understanding human-robot interaction issues in service failure situations is especially important. Some issues which deserve further empirical investigation are whether consumers can develop the same tolerance for chatbots after service failure as they have for human agents, and the relationship between agent type and tolerance is mediated by the mechanisms of perceived warmth and perceived competence. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: This research experimentally collected and analyzed data from 119 university students who had experienced chatbots service failures. Differences in tolerance towards human agents and chatbots after experiencing service failures were explored, with a further examination of the mediating pathways between this relationship via perceived warmth and perceived competence. Results: Consumers are more tolerant ofservice failure with chatbots compared to service failure with human agents. Significant mediation of the relationship between service agent and service failure tolerance by perceived competence, while perceived warmth has no significant mediating effect. Conclusions: This research enhances our understanding of AI-assisted services, human-computer interaction, improves the service functionality of existing smart devices, and deepens the understanding of the relationship between consumer responses and behaviors.

임상간호사의 노인간호수행에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Geriatric Nursing Performance among Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: This descriptive research study is intended to develop practical strategies for enhancing the quality of elderly care by evaluating the levels of ageism and compassion competence among clinical nurses and their impact on geriatric nursing performance. Methods: This study involved 162 nurses who provided direct care to elderly patients in a department with many such patients. Of the 161 returned questionnaires, 150 were analyzed, excluding 11 that had insincere or missing responses. To analyze the data, a comprehensive approach was employed using the IBM SPSS 27.0 program that included calculations of frequency and percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as more complex statistical tests such as the independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and hierarchical linear regression analysis. Results: Compassion competence was significantly positively correlated with elderly care and negatively correlated with ageism. This study conclusively demonstrates that compassion competence among nurses in geriatric nursing situations plays a crucial role in provision of quality nursing grounded in understanding and respect for the elderly. Consequently, it is imperative to develop educational strategies tailored to each career stage of nursing practice to further enhance effective elderly care. 기업가정신역량기반 교육 연구: 대학 창업교육 고도화를 위한 EntreComp(Entrepreneurship Competence) Frame 도출 (Entrepreneurship Competency-Based Education Research: EntreComp (Entrepreneurship Competence) Frame for Advancement of University Startup Education)

  • 정부의 지속적인 관심으로 국내 대학에서는 창업교육의 양적 성장을 이루어 왔으나 학문적·정책적·실무적 관점에서 창업교육을 체계화시키고 교육과 창업지원 성과 간 관계를 밝힘으로써 효과적인 교육을 도모하려는 관심과 노력은 부족한 상황이다. 유럽에서는 이미 다년간 심도 있는 연구를 통해 기업가정신역량(EntreComp: Entrepreneurship Competence)체계를 구축하여 타인을 위한 가치를 창출하며 역량이 국민의 전 생애 경쟁력이 될 수 있도록 평생교육에 접목하려는 시도가 있는 반면 국내 대학에서의 창업교육은 주로 교양 수준의 창업스킬에 머물러 있거나 경영학 관점에서 접근하기 수월한 교육주제에 편중되고 있어 체계개선이 시급하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대학 창업교육의 고도화를 위하여 기업가정신역량기반 창업교육 체계를 설계하였다. 다음으로 EntreComp 관련 국내외 선행연구를 고찰하고 FGI(Focus Group Interwiew) 및 델파이(delphi)조사법 등을 통해 대학생을 위한 8개의 EntreComp frame을 도출하였으며, 2018년도 42개 창업선도대학의 919개 학부 창업교육을 전수조사 하여 EntreComp별 교육현황을 밝혔다. EU의 EntreComp를 연구한 Bacigalupo et al.(2016) 자료를 포함한 25개의 기업가정신역량에 대한 선행연구를 조사하였고 연구 빈도와 교육·창업 관점에서의 중요도를 반영하고 본 연구에서 제시한 대학 창업교육의 목적을 근거로 spotting opportunities, value creation, self improvement, mobilising resources, technology application, strategic management, relationship, learning through experience의 총 8개로 구성된 기업가정신역량 체계를 전문가의 검증을 통해 도출하였다. 그리고 역량별 교육 현황, 역량교육 반영 정도와 각 대학의 재학생수를 모수로 하는 창업지원성과 간 추가분석을 통해 향후 대학에서 EntreComp 관점으로 창업교육을 체계화해 나가는데 있어 방향성을 얻을 수 있도록 도모하였다. 본 연구는 시대의 흐름과 요구를 반영하여 대학이 가져야 할 창업교육 목표를 수립하고 이를 뒷받침할 수 있는 기업가정신역량 프레임을 제시하였고, 일정 기간 창업선도대학에서 운영된 창업교과목 자료를 활용하여 전수조사를 하였다는 점에서 연구 차별성을 가지지만 창업선도대학의 표본수가 제한적이라 일반화시키기 어려운 한계를 가진다. 그럼에도 본 연구는 기업가정신역량 관점에서 대학 창업교육을 고도화시키고 미래 요구역량 함양 및 타인을 위해 가치를 창출하는 기업가형 인재육성이라는 교육목표를 제안하고 기업가정신역량 프레임에 대하여 더욱 본질적인 관점으로 연구의 틀을 마련함으로써 후속연구에 좀 더 명확한 방향성을 제시할 수 있다는 점에서 의미를 가진다.

  • The purpose of this research is to identify the factors of self-determination theory (e.g., autonomy, competence, and relatedness) affecting flow, satisfaction, and loyalty. This research uses structural equation modeling (SEM) to confirm the validity and analyzes the causal relationship of the suggested model. The results indicate that competence and relatedness positively influence flow and that autonomy positively influences satisfaction. First, autonomy is significantly shown to influences satisfaction and does not significantly influence flow. Second, that competence significantly influenced flow and indirectly influenced satisfaction. Third, relatedness significantly influenced flow and indirectly influenced satisfaction. Finally, flow influenced satisfaction, and flow and satisfaction directly and indirectly influenced loyalty.

원전 인적오류 예방을 위한 안전 역량, 행동 지표 및 측정 방법 개발: 예비 연구 (Development of Safety Competences, Behavioral Indicators and Measuring Methods for Preventing Human-Error in Nuclear Power Plants: A Preliminary Study)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop safety competences, a set of behavioral indicators of each competence and measuring methods of behavioral indicators for preventing human error of nuclear power plants(NPPs). The safety competences and behavioral indicators were derived from the five steps consisted of derivation of preliminary competence items through literature review, content analysis, interview(FGI, BEI), examination of content validity and decision making of final indicators. The results showed that 13 core safety competences and 35 behavior indicators were derived finally. In addition, the methods of measuring safety competences or behavioral indicators such as Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale (BARS), Behavior Observation Scale (BOS) were developed and suggested.

간호대학생의 정서인식명확성, 공감능력이 대인관계 유능성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Emotional Clarity and Empathy on Interpersonal Competence among Nursing College Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 정서인식명확성, 공감능력이 대인관계 유능성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 실시하였다. 연구대상자는 C도 지역 일부 간호대학생을 대상으로 하였으며, 연구기간은 2019년 11월부터 2019년 12월까지이었고, 분석대상은 285명 이었다. 자료는 기술적 통계, t-tset, ANOVA, Pearson correlation과 Stepwise multiple regression으로 분석 하였다. 그 결과 대인관계 유능성에 영향을 미치는 요인은 공감능력(β=.551, p<.001), 정서인식명확성(β=.288, p<.001), 대학생활만족도(β=.092, p<.001)가 대인관계 유능성에 유의한 영향을 미치며 설명력은 47.4%이었다. 대인관계 유능성과의 상관관계에서는 공감능력(r=.641, p<.001), 정서인식명확성(r=.443, p<.001)과 통계적으로 유의한 양의 상관관계로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 간호대학생의 대인관계 유능성을 높이기 위해서는 공감능력과 자신의 감정과 타인의 감정을 잘 인식 하여 적절히 대처할 수 있는 정서인식명확성, 대학생활을 활기 있게 해주고 대학생활만족도를 높일 수 있는 맞춤형 개별상담 프로그램 개발 및 적용을 강화하는 것이 필요하다고 하겠다. 추후 본 연구 결과를 토대로 대인관계 유능성에 대한 정서적 요인과 심리적 요인을 포함한 반복 및 심층 연구가 필요하며, 또한 대인관계 유능성을 측정하기 위해 표준화된 연구도구를 개발할 필요가 있다고 생각한다.

초등학교 과학 교과서 과학 탐구 활동의 지식정보처리역량 요소 분석 (Scientific Inquiry Activity of Elementary Science Textbook Analysis Based on Knowledge Information Processing Competence Elements)

  • 이 연구에서는 초등학교 3~6학년 과학 교과서 과학 탐구 활동에 나타난 지식정보처리역량 요소를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 지식정보처리역량의 구성 요소를 추출하였고, 지식정보처리역량 분석틀을 구안하였다. 초등학교 3~6학년 과학 교과서 8권을 분석 틀로 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 지식정보처리역량은 '수집', '분석', '조직', '선택', '평가'의 5가지 요소로 정리할 수 있다. 둘째, 초등학교 과학 교과서의 과학 탐구 활동의 지식정보처리역량의 요소는 고르게 구성되지 않았다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 초등학교 과학 교과서의 과학 탐구 활동은 지식정보처리역량 5가지 요소 중 '수집', '분석'에 치우쳐 있었으며, '조직', '선택', '평가' 순으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과들로부터 초등학교 과학 교과에서 지식정보처리역량을 기르기 위한 과학 탐구 모형이나 과학 수업 모형이 필요함을 알 수 있었다.

전문대학 조리관련 학과의 국가직무능력표준(NCS) 직업기초능력 기반 교육과정 개발을 위한 교육요구도 분석 (Educational Needs Assessment for the Development of Curriculum based on Key Competencies of National Competence Standard(NCS) for Department related Culinary Arts in a 2-Year College)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess priority of educational needs for the development of curriculum based on key competencies of NCS for departments related to culinary arts in a 2-year college. In order to achieve this objective, the survey has been distributed to cooks working in hotel restaurants or restaurant companies by social network service and a total of 360 responses were analyzed excluding 18 responses. The collected surveys were analysed by using paired t-test, Borich's needs analysis and the locus for focus analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the difference between the level of importance and present level about key competencies recognized by cooks working in restaurant company was statistically significant in 9 fields of key competencies excluding mathematical competence. The difference recognized by cooks working in hotel was statistically significant in all 10 fields of key competencies. Second, the results of Borich's needs assessment showed that the education needs of problem solving competence were the highest, followed by interpersonal, resource management, communication, information competence. Finally, considering both Borich's needs assessment and the locus for focus analysis, cooks working in hotel restaurants recognized that educational needs of communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, information competence were the top priority, and cooks working in restaurant companies recognized that educational needs of communication, interpersonal, skill, resource management competence were the top priority. Therefore, it is necessary to develop curriculum for culinary arts specialists based on key competence of top priority.

요양보호사의 대인태도가 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Interpersonal Attitude on Communication Competence in Care Workers for Frail Elderly)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of interpersonal attitude (I+, I-, U+, U-) on communication competence in care workers for frail elderly. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional survey. The data were collected from 153 care workers for frail elderly using a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using multiple regression with the SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. Results: The interpersonal attitude style of subjects was I+U+, and the score of communication competence was 3.53. There were significant differences in interpersonal attitude (I+, I-), and communication competence depending on age, education level, experience of personality type test (yes). Factors influencing on communication competence in care workers were interpersonal attitude (I+, I-, U+) and experience of personality type test with $R^2$ value of 48.5% (F=23.47 p<.001). The most influencing factor was I+ (${\beta}$=.36), followed by I- (${\beta}$=-.22), U+ (${\beta}$=.20), and experience of personality type test (yes) (${\beta}$=.16). Conclusion: It is needed to maintain the interpersonal attitude style (I+U+) of care workers. Continuing education program is needed for increasing communication competence especially for those fifties and over, and experienced care workers. Giving an opportunity for personality test is helpful to increase communication competence in care workers.
