In this paper a Hybrid Real Time HVDC Simulator fur both operator Training and Researching in the Cheju-Haenam HVDC System is proposed and its performance is studied by means of RTDS (Real Time Digital Simulator), EMTDC (Electro-Magnetic Transients system for DC), PSS/E (Power System Simulator for Engineering), and experienced scenarios. The objective of this paper is to represent the strategy in development for KEPCO's hybrid HVDC simulator for the Cheju-Haenam HVDC system. This simulator consists of two DC stations, DC cables, external digital/analog controllers, monitoring systems and control desk for education, and AC networks. Its suitability for operator's education is tested during startup/shutdown and normal state operations. Dynamic performances of it are also verified.

21세기 들어 혁신적인 전략이나 기술로 탄생한 벤처기업은 세계 경제를 이끄는 중심축이 되었다. 제4차산업혁명, 디지털 트랜스포메이션, AI, 전기차 등 거시적 지식기반 사회로의 이행에 따른 환경 변화 등으로 과학기술기반 창업에 대한 중요성이 날로 대두되고 있다. 특히 대학·출연(연)이 신기술 개발에 대한 연구논문이나 보유 특허를 기반으로한 실험실 창업은 생존율과 고용 창출효과가 높은 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 그 중 미연구재단(NSF)에서 개발하여 국내에도 도입된 실험실창업 혁신교육프로그램인 '아이코어(I-Corps)'에 주목하였다. 혁신군단을 뜻하는 아이코어는 2011년 NSF 주로도 국가혁신 차원의 창업시스템 구축 정책일환으로 R&D 결과물의 사업화 및 기업가 정신 육성을 위해 출범한 실험실 창업 프로그램으로 일반적인 기술이전이나 기술 사업화를 뛰어 넘는 잠재 수요가로부터의 시장 기회의 인지 및 효과적 사업화를 위한 시장 및 비즈니스 모델 개발을 지향하는 7주 동안의 시장발견 활동 등의 커리큘럼을 갖춘 스탠포드대학교의 SBL(Steve Blank Lean LaunchPad)이 아이코어의 모태가 되었다. 본 연구에서는 아이코어 프로그램 참여 팀들을 중심으로 실험실창업의 팀 특성 중 창업팀 다양성이 특허성과에 어떠한 영향을 끼쳤는지 연구모델을 제안하고 실증적으로 검증하였다. 분석 결과 제안된 변수들 중에서 연령 다양성, 학력 다양성, 가치관 다양성이 특허성과에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 아이코어(I-Corps) 실험실창업 프로그램뿐만 아니라 기술창업, 지식 재산, 지식 경영 관련분야의 연구자들이나 실무 종사자들의 이론적, 실무적 기반을 더 탄탄히 할 것으로 기대한다.

The Rotor Stress Indicator is an integrated system of hardware and program components which has been designed to read an assortment of turbine temperature and speed input devices, perform an analysis of the temperature induced stresses and output pertinent temperature and stress information to guide the turbine operator during turbine prewarming, start-ups, load changes, and shut-downs. The purpose of the RSI is to provide guidance to the plant operator during startup, shutdown, loading, and unloading of the turbine. Since the stresses are a function of the temperature changes to which the turbine is exposed, the RSI also provides guidance for operation of the boiler main steam and reheat steam temperatures as they affect the rotor stresses. This may permit more efficient overall boiler turbine start-ups. In this paper, new rotor stress analysis algorithm for RSI is introduced and compared with present system which has been used in thermal power plant.

Capstone design is a very important college course that enhances students' creativity and skills. However, in most universities, the operation of capstone design is operated by the experience and intuition of the advisor, and it is somewhat lacking in the generation of useful results such as patent rights and technology start-up from the capstone design result. In this study, we proposed a performance - based capstone design operation model through patent linkage so that the capstone design class can create creative and useful results. The proposed operating model includes support for research on prior art of patent information utilization, patent right of idea, and technology commercialization. The proposed operating model was directly applied to the capstone design class in the university, and it was confirmed that useful results such as expansion of the scope of the research achievement and technology start - up were created compared to the existing operation model.

우리나라 창업기업들은 국내 및 국외 시장에서 경쟁을 통하여 생존법칙을 직접 체험하고 이를 바탕으로 왕성한 기업 활동을 하고 있다. 우리나라 경제성장률은 2015년 메르스 사태로 인한 내수 부진과 수출 감소로 2.6%이며 한국개발연구원에서 2016년 경제성장율을 3.0% 정도로 추산하였다. 우리나라 경제는 경제성장률 저하로 저성장 고착화 위기에 직면하여 고용 없는 성장과 양극화가 심화될 것이라고 전망되고 있다. 하이테크 산업시대에 창업기업은 특정한 분야에서 빠르게 변화하는 시장 환경에서 스타트업만의 역량과 성능을 가지고 시장에서 경쟁우위를 유지하여야 한다. 창업기업만의 역량을 활용하여 시장에서 경쟁 우위를 유지하는 것은 매우 중요하며 자원의 축적은 창업기업의 성공을 결정하는데 있어서 매우 중요하다. 또한 열악한 국내 창업생태계에서 대다수의 창업기업들은 성공 보다는 생존에 몸부림치며 기업 활동을 하고 있다. 창업 3~5년차에 맞이하는 '죽음의 계곡'을 넘지 못하고 약 80% 정도가 생존에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 대부분의 창업기업들이 창업 초기단계에 성과를 못 내고 실패하는 경우가 많기 때문에 창업 초기단계 기업 활동과 성과에 대한 연구 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 창업기업의 준비단계 활동과 창업 초기단계 활동들이 창업기업 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 실증분석 하였다. 우리나라 중소기업 중 스타트업인 창업기업의 대표 또는 의사결정이 가능한 임원을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 203개의 유효한 데이터를 수집하고 분석하였다. 창업기업의 비즈니스와 사업 등에 필요한 발견 및 활용 활동이 기업자원 및 외부기업 협력을 통하여 창업기업 성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 결과가 도출되었으며 이에 대한 시사점을 정리하였다.

In this paper, for the development of a safe and reliable DC home appliance suitable for DC home power supply system, we classified a number of inherent problems with help of the comparative analysis of existing AC and new DC home appliance. Several new technical problems of DC home appliances are mainly linked to the DC transient state. Among them, this paper concentrates on start-up inrush current problem, uni-polarity problem, and heavy DC load control problem. And to address these problems, we herein present an implementation of robust safety circuits for DC home appliances. Specifically, we investigate several multi-circuit countermeasures and select the best among them through comparative evaluation, based on theoretical, simulational, and experimental results.

Purpose - This study aims to advance our knowledge about factors influencing technical startup performance through analysing technical startup process empirically. This study was conducted to focus on industry structure(industry growth rate, competitive intensity, and enter barriers), technology characteristics(technical excellence and wide range of technical application), and the performance in the technology-based start-ups. Specifically, analyzing moderating effect of technology-marketing strategy, this studied how moderating variables affect technical startup performance under industry structure. Research design, data, and methodology - The subject of this study was technology-based start-ups company that received technology transfer from public organization. The development of the paper model is based on the literature of the preceding research analysis in technology commercialization, performance of technology-based start-ups, and marketing strategy. This study has a construct that was defined in the previous studies, such that technology marketing strategy was defined into the two ways of being broad or narrow in strategic application. From November 3. 2015 to December 22, 220 questionnaires were distributed with targeting to start-up companies in technology-based. 188 responses were collected for empirical analysis except the missing and wrong value responses. This data were used for structural equation modeling and regression analysis. Results - The results of this study are as follows. First, as industry structure variables influencing on performance(technical, financial) of technology-based start-ups, industry growth rate, competitive intensity and enter barriers of variables were verified; high growth rate has more positive effect on performance than low growth rate, competitive low intensity has more positive effect on performance than competitive high intensity, low enter barriers have more positive effect on performance than high enter barriers. Second, as technology characteristics variables influences on the performance(technical, financial) of technology-based start-ups, technical excellence and wide range of technical application of variables were verified ; technical high-excellence has more positive effect on performance than technology low-excellence, wide range of technical application has more positive effect on performance than narrow range of technical application. We also find that technology marketing strategy(broad/narrow) in moderating factors on performance (technical, financial) is as follows. Analyzing the moderating effect depending on technology marketing strategy(broad/narrow), application of technology, and the types of technology strategy(broad/narrow) were revealed that broad marketing strategy had a more significant effect on performance of technology-based start-ups. With AMOS, the relevancy of the study model revealed higher for broad technology-marketing strategy than narrow technology marketing strategy, and the explanatory power revealed to be 6.4% higher in broad marketing strategy than narrow marketing strategy. Conclusions - This study confirmed that industry structure and technology characteristics are important factors influencing the performance of technology-based start-ups. Technology-marketing strategy affects the performance of technology-based start-ups between industry structure and technology characteristics. According to additional analysis, moderating variables and technology-marketing strategy are important factors influencing the performance of technology-based start-ups under industry structure and technology characteristics. Broad type of technology-marketing strategy has more attractive industry structure and excellent technology characteristics than narrow types of technology-marketing.

Purpose: This study aims to clarify the concept of entrepreneurial leadership by reviewing the relevant existing studies, and to examine changes in entrepreneurial leadership research through review and statistical analysis on the articles published in Korean and international journals. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: Among the papers published between 2010 and 2020, 8 Korean studies and 42 international studies (UK and US) that clearly identify entrepreneurial leadership as research topic were analyzed. Results: Examinations on the yearly trends, keywords, and research methods reveal that research on entrepreneurial leadership is increasing recently with the emphasis on the statistical analysis. Keyword analysis shows high frequency of team and innovation for domestic research, while overseas research focuses on entrepreneurship, leadership, and gender associated keywords. Conclusions: This study has confirmed that overseas studies employ various methodologies, focusing on statistical analysis and that the effect of entrepreneurial leadership are in progress. For domestic cases, studies on entrepreneurial leadership are limited in number. Research topics and methods are areas that need further improvements. Research on entrepreneurial leadership has recently begun, requiring diversity in the subjects and methods for future development

The development of Technopolis and the establishment of innovative ecosystem have made an important contribution in South Korea's latest industrial development and economic growth. Particularly, Daedeok INNOPOLIS which is responsible for the central role in the national science technology advancement was founded as the Science Town in the 1970s. Since then, it has undergone three-phases of development: Science Park, Technopolis and Innovation cluster. As the result of the transition, Daedeok INNOPOLIS currently serve as the leading role for achieving sustainable economic growth, employment promotion, national and regional innovation. In order to accelerate the progress for success, Daedeok INNOPOLIS have arranged an opportunity for 21st century new industry development, improved growth of technology-intensive SMEs, reinforced academic-industrial cooperation, and established innovative ecosystem. Daedeok INNOPOLIS is considered as an outstanding case of endogenous development strategy of Technopolis. This study attempts to consider the endogenous development strategy of Technopolis in Korea through the analysis of development characteristics of Daedeok INNOPOLIS in two different perspectives: changes of spatial structure and establishment of innovation ecosystem. Daedeok INNOPOLIS have experienced a series of endogenous growth that is consisted of advancement strategy and structural changes, which allowed Daedeok research town to grow into an innovative cluster. A sign of growth of Daedeok INNOPOLIS became apparent when its strategy to reinforce the academic-industry cooperation system by promoting participation from universities helped to overcome a functional limitation as a research institute integrated for the establishment of innovative ecosystem. Since then, the center for creative economy and innovation established in cooperation with large enterprise, has a role to build a startup ecosystem and to promote next level of development such as proactive fostering of venture companies for sustainable technopolis development.

연구개발(R&D)의 주요 목적이 과거 지식 창출 중심에서 기술이전 및 사업화를 통한 경제적 이익 창출 중심으로 변화함에 따라 공공성(public character)을 내재한 공공기술 역시 사회적 기여와 더불어 경제성을 확보할 수 있는 방안이 요구되고 있다. 한국 또한 대학 및 정부출연연구소의 기술창업 활성화를 위해 2015년부터 '공공기술 기반 시장연계 창업탐색 지원사업(한국형 아이코어 사업)'을 실시하여 기초·원천 연구성과의 사업화를 선도할 수 있는 핵심인력 양성에 힘을 기울이고 있다. 본 연구는 기업가정신 교육 관련 선행연구와 동 사업의 성과분석을 목적으로 실시한 설문조사 결과를 토대로 '창업학습', '적용도', '비즈니스 모델', 그리고 '재무적 자원' 등 사업성과와 관련한 4개의 요인을 도출하였고, 가설 검증 및 구조방정식모델 분석을 통해 이러한 영향요인 간의 관계를 실증하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면, 아이코어 사업의 성과인 '재무적 자원'에 미치는 '창업학습'의 직접적인 영향은 통계적으로 확인되지 않았지만, '창업학습'으로부터 유의한 수준에서 긍정적인 영향을 받는 '적용도'와 '비즈니스 모델'이 '재무적 자원'에 긍정적인 영향을 미침에 따라 결과적으로 '창업학습'이 '재무적 자원'에 미치는 간접효과가 검증되었다. 특히 '창업학습'이 '적용도'에 미치는 높은 수준의 영향과 '적용도'가 '비즈니스 모델'과 '재무적 자원'에 미치는 영향 역시 유의한 수준에서 긍정적으로 나타남에 따라 '재무적 자원'에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 핵심요인들이 확인되었다. 따라서 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 공공기술기반 창업교육에 대한 이론적 및 실무적 시사점을 도출하였고, 향후 효과적인 공공기술 사업화를 위한 지원사업의 개선 방향을 제시하고 있다.
