Using webometric big data, this study examines the diversity of online information sources about the novel coronavirus causing the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, it focuses on some 28 countries where confirmed coronavirus cases occurred in February 2020. In the results, the online visibility of Australia, Canada, and Italy was the highest, based on their producing the most relevant information. There was a statistically significant correlation between the hit counts per country and the frequency of visiting the domains that act as information channels. Interestingly, Japan, China, and Singapore, which had a large number of confirmed cases at that time, were providing web data related to the novel coronavirus. Online sources were classified using an N-tuple helix model. The results showed that government agencies were the largest supplier of coronavirus information in cyberspace. Furthermore, the two-mode network technique revealed that media companies, university hospitals, and public healthcare centers had taken a positive attitude towards online circulation of coronavirus research and epidemic prevention information. However, semantic network analysis showed that health, school, home, and public had high centrality values. This means that people were concerned not only about personal prevention rules caused by the coronavirus outbreak, but also about response plans caused by life inconveniences and operational obstacles.

This research is the first research on developing the speed limit select model and also it is the result of the research on the importance of each element and consideration factors when selecting the speed limit. For the consideration factor discrimination and calculation of the importance, the delphi method and AHP method was used. The delphi survey was processed through third round survey, 5 high consideration factor(Level 1) and 23 low consideration factor(Level 2) was discriminated. During the process of the third delphi survey, when the CVR cost was in the range between 0.4~1.0 it was treated as the consideration factor when selecting the speed limit and less than 0.4 cost was eliminated. In the process of the second delphi survey, 33 consideration factors were discriminated but was reordered into 23 categories through the third survey. Based on the 23 categories earned through the third delphi analysis, the AHP survey was processed. The result of the AHP survey was that out of the importance of the 5 high consideration factor(Level 1), the traffic condition was evaluated as the number one factor and the vessel condition, waterway condition, environment condition, supporting condition and etc. conditions were evaluated following the traffic condition. Out of the 23 low consideration factor(Level 2) consideration, the visibility was evaluated to be the first important and the performance of the vessel steering, objective factors within the harbor, amount of traffic and density, distance between the passing vessel, speed of the steering capacity and tidal current were the following evaluated factors.
Defects generated in a railroad track that guides the railroad vehicle have the characteristic of growing fast; as such, the detection technology for railroad track defects is very important because defects can eventually cause mass disasters like derailments. In this study, a speed-up test facility was fabricated to investigate the feasibility of using magnetic flux leakage (MFL) technology for defect detection in a railroad track under speed-up condition; a test was conducted using a railroad track specimen with defects. For this purpose, an MFL sensor head dedicated to the configuration of the railroad was designed and test specimens with artificial defects on their surfaces were manufactured. Using the test facility, a speed-up test ranging from 4km/h to 12km/h was performed and defects including locations were successfully detected from MFL signals induced by defects with enhanced visibility by differentiating raw MFL signals. In the future, it should be possible to apply this system to a high-speed railroad inspection car by improving the lift-off stability that is necessary for speed-up of the developed MFL sensor system.

Zoological parks are considered to be a recreational place for family outings and most importantly the starting place of contact with animals in the modem society. Due to environmental threats and the loss of wildlife habitats, the zoos have significant roles to play in education, research and conservation in addition to the traditional role-entertainment, but research on zoos and their visitors is very limited in Korea. The present study surveyed that the zoo visitors' perceptions of the role of zoos, satisfaction, and behaviors in 6 public zoos, during which 730 zoo visitors were interviewed. The results indicated that the zoos represent an opportunity for family-based trips, enjoyment with family or friends and education that are the primary motives for visiting the zoos. The findings demonstrate that respondents considered the four main roles of zoos namely conservation, education, entertainment, and research to be important and recognize its value for conservation and environmental education. The determinants of satisfaction of zoo visitors were ease of visibility, welfare of captive animals, and the availability of information. Most respondents believed that naturalistic exhibits and animal welfare were very important. In order to reinforce the roles of the zoo in modem society, multidisciplinary efforts are needed to improve the animal welfare, replicate native habitats, and develop various education programs.
Lattice towers and tubular steel poles have been commonly used for electrical power transmission in Korea. They are durable, structurally stable, simple and can easily be constructed in limited spaces. However, residents are opposed to construct transmission lattice towers in their areas because they are not visually attractive, and electrical field occur at the transmission lines. Underground transmissions have been used instead of the traditional towers to resolve these problems, however they are not cost effective to construct and run. Therefore, we have developed eco-friendly towers that are more attractive, well blending into the surrounding environment, and much more economical than underground transmissions. There are four categories of the eco-friendly electric transmission towers about design aspects. Firstly, there is decoration type such as tree tower and ensemble tower. Tree tower looks like actual trees with leaves and branches so it blends into surroundings. Ensemble towers were designed after pair of crane birds. Those towers have decoration features and art works. Structural examination and manufacturing this type would be very similar to the conventional transmission towers. Secondly, there is arm design type such as traditional tower. Design features are added to the existing towers. As partial design can be adoptable on these types, it can easily meet height regulations and attach to conventional lattice towers and tubular steel poles. Also, these towers are more economical than others. Third category is multipurpose type such as Sail Tower. These towers have simple pole or tubular structure with features which can be used as information message board, public relations and much more. This type will face greater wind pressure because of the area of the board, also visibility must take into consideration. Lastly, there is moulding type such as arc pylon. It is different shape to the conventional towers - lattice towers and tubular steel poles. Dramatic design changes have been adapted - from a hard and static tower to a soft and curved tower. These towers will well stand out in the field. However, structural examination and manufacturing this type would be difficult and costly. Also certain towers of this type would require scaffolding or false work to construct, which will result in limitations of the construction area. This paper shows KEPCO 154 kV Sail tower in detail. KEPCO 154 kV Sail tower that is included in fabrication of sample tower and tower testing has developed and the results are presented in this paper. We hope that sail tower is also considered as a solution to have public acceptance or to create a familiar atmosphere among towers and people in coastal area.
In this study, we analyzed the information asymmetry and the agency problem in major affiliated companies on the basis of the R&D investment. As a result of comparing how the R&D investment effects on major affiliated companies and the independent companies, even the achievement of R&D investment effects in a positive way to the firm value, the positive effect appears much lower on major affiliated companies comparing independent companies. In order to analyze the case, we investigated in a separate way according to the shareholding ratio and the affiliated market using the sample of the independent company and the group affiliated company. As a result of such analysis, the cause of this comes from the agency problem in major affiliated company, not the asymmetry information of affiliated company. After we analyzed the sample of the research depending on the affiliation market, we could observe there is a little impact of the asymmetry information in the outcome of the R&D investment of the major affiliated companies. In contrast, the companies which rated lower in the ratio of the shareholding appears much less in the positive effect of R&D investment compared to the companies which rated at a higher level. This phenomenon was also consistently observed when changing the research method or further subdividing the sample of companies belonging to the group based on the ownership share of major shareholders.
In this paper, we propose a study on the development of deep learning structure for defective pixel detection of next-generation smart LED display board using imaging device. In this research, a technique utilizing imaging devices and deep learning is introduced to automatically detect defects in outdoor LED billboards. Through this approach, the effective management of LED billboards and the resolution of various errors and issues are aimed. The research process consists of three stages. Firstly, the planarized image data of the billboard is processed through calibration to completely remove the background and undergo necessary preprocessing to generate a training dataset. Secondly, the generated dataset is employed to train an object recognition network. This network is composed of a Backbone and a Head. The Backbone employs CSP-Darknet to extract feature maps, while the Head utilizes extracted feature maps as the basis for object detection. Throughout this process, the network is adjusted to align the Confidence score and Intersection over Union (IoU) error, sustaining continuous learning. In the third stage, the created model is employed to automatically detect defective pixels on actual outdoor LED billboards. The proposed method, applied in this paper, yielded results from accredited measurement experiments that achieved 100% detection of defective pixels on real LED billboards. This confirms the improved efficiency in managing and maintaining LED billboards. Such research findings are anticipated to bring about a revolutionary advancement in the management of LED billboards.

LiDAR plays a key role in autonomous vehicles, and to improve its visibility, it is necessary to improve its performance and the detection objects. Accordingly, this study proposes a shape for traffic safety signs that is advantageous for self-driving vehicles to recognize. Improvement plans are also proposed using a shape-recognition algorithm based on point cloud data collected through LiDAR sensors. For the experiment, a DBSCAN-based road-sign recognition and classification algorithm, which is commonly used in point cloud research, was developed, and a 32ch LiDAR was used in an actual road environment to conduct recognition performance tests for 5 types of road signs. As a result of the study, it was possible to detect a smaller number of point clouds with a regular triangle or rectangular shape that has vertical asymmetry than a square or circle. The results showed a high classification accuracy of 83% or more. In addition, when the size of the square mark was enlarged by 1.5 times, it was possible to classify it as a square despite an increase in the measurement distance. These results are expected to be used to improve dedicated roads and traffic safety facilities for sensors in the future autonomous driving era and to develop new facilities.

Selection of location in food service start-up business is sure to be a shortcut to achievement of business performance, and in this context, it's no exaggeration to say that food service industry is an real estate industry. This study looked into what influence of the location factor in food service start-up business had on sales performance, and intended to verify whether the location factors ultimately influenced business performance consequent on the influence of location factors on start-up business satisfaction. To this end, this study set food service owner-operators as its research subject, and conducted a survey of the operators (of restaurants) located in Anyang-si from December 1, 2016 until January 30, 2017. This study distributed a total of 300 copies of questionnaires, and collected 245 copes, among which this study used 198 copies for empirical study excluding the copies whose reply was unfaithful. This study did empirical analysis of 198 copies using SPSS 22.0 Statistical Package Program, together with the application of frequency analysis, factor analysis and regression analysis. The major results of this study are as follows: First, this study divided the location factors in food service start-up business stores into the four, i.e. accessibility, clustering property, placeness and visibility, etc. Second, the study results showed that accessibility, clustering property, placeness and visibility had significant influence as one in the influence of locational factors on sales performance. Third, this study could understand that start-up business satisfaction had a partial mediated effect in the influence of location factors on sales performance. Resultantly, this study confirmed food service start-up business's own selection of location, and wished to find major factors and a differentiated point in time of selection of location of stores in other fields. Such a result gives an implication that it's necessary to concentrate all efforts to increase sales performance of food service start-up business from the location selection phase, and to make efforts to increase start-up business satisfaction.

This is the study to conduct the topographical analysis using the orthophotographic data from the waypoint flight using the UAV and constructed the system required for the automatic waypoint flight using the multicopter.. The results of the waypoint photographing are as follows. First, result of the waypoint flight over the area of 9.3ha, take time photogrammetry took 40 minutes in total. The multicopter have maintained the certain flight altitude and a constant speed that the accurate photographing was conducted over the waypoint determined by the ground station. Then, the effect of the photogrammetry was checked. Second, attached a digital camera to the multicopter which is lightweight and low in cost compared to the general photogrammetric unmanned airplane and then used it to check its mobility and economy. In addition, the matching of the photo data, and production of DEM and DXF files made it possible to analyze the topography. Third, produced the high resolution orthophoto(2cm) for the inside of the river and found out that the analysis is possible for the changes in vegetation and topography around the river. Fourth, It would be used for the more in-depth research on landscape analysis such as terrain analysis and visibility analysis. This method may be widely used to analyze the various terrains in cities and rivers. It can also be used for the landscape control such as cultural remains and tourist sites as well as the control of the cultural and historical resources such as the visibility analysis for the construction of DSM.
