The modern welding technology hue more then 100 years history, and during that period, the welding has been playing an important role in the development of the manufacturing processes/systems as a key technology. In the time we enter the 21st century, it is question how to develop the innovative and attractive welding technology, in particular by the younger generation. The present report discussed the future trend of welding engineering mainly in Japan after reviewing the previous growth of welding engineering.

The past Romanticism, which emphasized loveful, womanish property, has changed into new-concept Romanticism as it was harmonized with various emotional cultures and trends in the 21st century. New-concept romanticism is found in various fields ranging from personality, diversity and discrimination to emotion. It is appearing as a new style searching for taste as it is mixed and matched with other fields. In fashion, Romanticism and mix-and-match trend provide womanish feeling through the match with romantic chiffon, high-waisted pants and cashmere cardigan and show modern emotion through vest and short blazer. Therefore, it is necessary to reconsider the method to analyze and express fashion emotion style on the basis of mix-and-match trend of Romanticism. The purpose of this study is to analyze how Romanticism is expressed in the mix and match with other emotional style, predict direction of Romanticism style and establish the ground to find changing fashion trend accurately. The researcher expects that design development will be focused on the fashion, which is more various and characteristic and search for convenient, healthy life, on the basis of the analysis on mix and match shown in Romanticism fashion of the study. The researcher tried to provide the base of design development and assist design activation by using mix and match, which can create various new styles, accurately and understanding and predicting the fashion trend of the 21st century.

PV Thermal combined system produces the electricity and thermal energy which are needed for buildings. The system removes heat from PV module through air or liquid, so that its efficiency will be improved. The heat as the forms of hot air or hot water can be utilized for building use, like space heating and hot water. This paper describes the concept of PV Thermal combined system and its research and development trend at local and international levels. This materials can be used as a fundamental study source about PV Thermal combined system to apply fur building space heating.

This study aims to analyze contemporary women's sense of fashion aesthetic by looking into the design and trend of T-panties, which have now carved out a new niche in the world's 21st century female underwear markets. By this, I'd like to reassure readers of the importance of T-panties, which has only been recently recognized, and more generally suggests the future direction of prominent T-panty design development. This study aims to analyze contemporary women's sense of fashion aesthetic by looking into the design and trend of T-panties, which have now carved out a new niche in the world's 21st century female underwear markets. By this, I'd like to reassure readers of the importance of T-panties, which has only been recently recognized, and more generally suggests the future direction of prominent T-panty design development. The domestic formativeness of all styles is divided into three types: modern feminine, mono-bosom, and utopian narcissist image. This study is baseds on the documents study.

Many scientists today say that converged technologies, not specifically dedicated technologies, will be in the vanguard in the $21^{st}$ century. Technological Convergence is the merging of different areas of technology to perform similar tasks. Since we are living in the era of Technological Convergence, it is time for us to think about how to cope with the daily demands we are facing in science parks. Technological Convergence is a mega trend in commercial areas today but, so far, no science parks seem to have tried to reshape their management policies or programs in order to utilize this trend. For the development of science parks we suggest some tasks such as: identify potentials for Technological Convergence, establish a convergent ecosystem by building connections across stove-piped systems, effect a technological convergence platform, and conduct further research for strengthening plans for converging technologies.

In the 21st century, fashion design trend is focused on 'retro'. 'Retro' is the one of the important trends in this century. In the rapidly changing present, the more people want to find a clue to the hope and happiness from the past nostalgia. Reflecting such people's desire, retro fashion has boomed again from 2000 as one of powerful trends. This research conforms the meaning of retro fashion and characteristic of retro fashion design. And through this processing, it was find that retro fashion design had lost century retro romantic fahion image. Therefore, in this research, the processing about development of retro dress design of retro romantic fashion image was showed by using CAD. The results of this study are as followings. First, Retro fashion is worth the high value of good producr of new and creative for consumers who pursuit tranquil mood in the midist of dailly change Second, Nostalgia and revival of style for each 10 years after 1920's is well brought out in Retro trend of modernt fashion. Also decorative and elegant style are marked by retro romantic fashion mood. Third, fashion design using the computer graphics was presented by application retro romatic image. It is mixed with elegance and modernity based on retro feeling, It is suggested that computer graphics was effectively used in fashion design development to the newly romantic and modern style through 1950'-1960'intimate retro fashion image.

In the present study we examined latitudinal trend of the number of species and species diversity of rocky subtidal shelled gastropods. Specimens were sampled from four wave-exposed sites along the eastern coast of Korea between Sockcho (38$^{\circ}$14"N_ and Busan (35$^{\circ}$06"N), covering a range of over ca. 440 km and 4$^{\circ}$ of latitude. At a small local scale, the number of species showed a latitudinal trend, decreased with decreasing of latitude, even though no clear trends in species diversity were detected. The present result, consequently, suggest that regulation of small-scale local diversity presumably results from the difference of the local micro-environment.

The purpose of the study was to offer in-depth understanding of the women's wear research trend in South Korea and thus to provide insights from the findings throughout the study to set appropriate directions for further development of women's wear related researches in the clothing and textile study area. The study considered research papers published by the 6 major apparel related journals listed on the KCI(Korea Citation Index) i.e. journals of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles(KSCT), the Korean Society of Costume(KSC), the Costume Culture Association (CCA), the Korean Society of Fashion Business(KSFB), the Korean Home Economics Association (KHEA) and the Korean Society for Clothing Industry(KSCI). A total of 380 research papers that were related with women's wear published from 2001 to 2010 were selected for the study and analyzed in the form of descriptive statistics using the SPSS Software ver. 18.0. The analysis was categorized according to the journals, years and research theme. The research themes were divided into various categories such as, clothing construction, textile science, fashion aesthetics and design, costume history and culture, apparel psychology and fashion marketing. The results derived from the research were: (1) the ratio of the research papers on the women's wear to the total papers published from 2001 to 2010 by the 6 subject journals was 380 to 6,815, i.e. 5.6% of the total papers; (2) journal of KSCT published the most women's wear research papers (N=149, 39.2%) and then the rest in order were the journal of CCA (N=69, 18.2%), the journal of KSC (N=68, 17.9%), the journal of KSFB (N=52, 13.7%), the journal of KHEA (N=39, 10.3%) and the journal of KSCI (N=3, 0.7%); (3) the proportions of the research themes for the women's wear study were in the order of the case study in marketing (N=135, 35.5%), body measurements and sizing systems in clothing construction (N=88, 23.2%), fashion design and aesthetics (N=83, 21.8%), pattern-making (N=63, 16.6%), and color study (N=11, 2.9%) and so on.

Understanding in climate effects on marine ecosystem is essential to utilize, predict, and conserve marine living resources in the 21st century. In this review paper, we summarized the past history and current status of Korean fisheries as well as the changes in climate and oceanographic phenomena since the 1960s. Ocean ecosystems in Korean waters can be divided into three, based on the marine commercial fish catches; the demersal ecosystem in the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea, the pelagic ecosystem in the Tsushima Warm Current from the East China Sea to the East/Japan Sea, and the demersal ecosystem in the northern part of the East/Japan Sea. Through the interdisciplinary retrospective analysis using available fisheries, oceanographic, and meteorological information in three important fish communities, the trend patterns in major commercial catches and the relationship between climate/environmental variability and responses of fish populations were identified. Much evidence revealed that marine ecosystems, including the fish community in Korean waters, has been seriously affected by oceanographic changes, and each species has responded differently. In general, species diversity is lessening, and mean trophic level of each ecosystem has decreased during the last $3\sim4$ decades. Future changes in fisheries due to global warming are also considered for major fisheries and aquaculture in Korean waters.

Students' concepts of scientific phenomena have become a point of focus in science education research. This study investigated into developmental process and mechanism of the students' respiration concept through a cross-age study. This study utilized the 1st, 3rd, 6th grade elementary students to find out changes in student's understanding of the concept of respiration. The 1st and 3rd grade level students were interviewed what the respiration mean and whether each of living things respires, etc. The 6th grade students were interviewed and tested. Respiration is a word that students come across often in everyday life. It was found that they were more likely to associate respiration with its more common concept of breathing or gas exchange as opposed to its more scientific definition as the process in which nutrients are oxidized to provide energy. This trend didn't improve as they advanced grade. This is an indication that the knowledge system of student is split into a generic knowledge system and scientific knowledge system. Understanding of concept increased and differentiated across grade levels but that understanding was limited. They overcome their tendency to base their understanding of respiration on their understanding of human phenomena and learn to integrate their understanding of biological phenomena through a one organ - one role type of logic. They also intuitively explain everything based on their own experience.
