  • In the last few years, quantum communication technology and services have been developing in various advanced applications to secure the sharing of information from one device to another. It is a classical commercial medium, where several Internet of Things (IoT) devices are connected to information communication technology (ICT) and can communicate the information through quantum systems. Digital communications for future networks face various challenges, including data traffic, low latency, deployment of high-broadband, security, and privacy. Quantum communication, quantum sensors, quantum computing are the solutions to address these issues, as mentioned above. The secure transaction of data is the foremost essential needs for smart advanced applications in the future. In this paper, we proposed a quantum communication model system for future ICT and methodological flow. We show how to use blockchain in quantum computing and quantum cryptography to provide security and privacy in recent information sharing. We also discuss the latest global research trends for quantum communication technology in several countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Korea, and others. Finally, we discuss some open research challenges for quantum communication technology in various areas, including quantum internet and quantum computing.

  • In order to accomplish large-size information systems successfully, one of the most improtant factor is the system integration(SI) of individual software projects which consist of the systems. A developer of each project should consider aspects of SI through the development cycle, and a manager of the entire system should manage, control, and evaluate each from a SI point of view. In this research, management models for the system managers, development models for the developers of unit projects, and standardized output documents for the management and evaluation purpose are presented based on the SI concepts.

  • Most O4I Systems are considered as one of the major system in future Information Warfare. However, it is difficult to measure the effectiveness of force improvement when C4I System is used with other weapon systems, quantitatively. In this Paper, we propose a quantitative method to evaluate the force improvement effectiveness of KNTDS(Korea Naval Tactical Data System). This method utilized the Lanchester's equations and its applications. We also showed a numerical example based on a given scenario in a sea battle and the ASP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) Method is applied to verify its results.

  • Guest guidance system based on the compact battery-less information terminal, Aimulet, which has been developed by the authors of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan. Conventional Aimulet, which is Aimulet ver.1 or CoBIT, has features of location and direction sensitive information service device without batteries. On the other hand, the Aimulet has two subjects, one is multiplex and demultiplex of some contents, and the other is operation under sunshine. Former subject is of solved by the wavelength multiplex technique using LED emitter with different wavelength and dielectric optical filters. Latter subject is solved by new micro spherical solar cells with a visible-light-eliminating optical filter and a new design of light irradiation. These techniques are applied to the EXPO 2005, Aichi Japan and introduced in public. Aimulet GH is Former technique is applied on Aimulet GH, which is used in Orange Hall of the Global House, scientific museum with a fossil of a frozen mammoth.

  • There is no generally accepted definition of information technology (IT) although this is an important issue in the management information systems (MIS) area. In an effort to address this issue, the evolution of IT is reviewed from a historical perspective. A historical review on IT suggests that its evolution be broken down into three stages in a systematic way. Further, the identification of mainstream research interests at each stage makes a contribution in part to defining IT. Two approaches to defining IT are identified, and limitations of each approach are discussed. Finally, a better way to address these limitations is suggested.

  • Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) has been widely used for predicting behavioral processes in which information technologies were accepted, but several previous studies point out that TAM may not explain the adoption process of complex information technologies effectively. This study empirically tests the limitation of TAM, and suggests a proposed research model by incorporating the concept of the perceived behavioral control into TAM. Study findings indicate the proposed model can predict the adoption process better than TAM does.

  • A field of spoken dialog systems is a rapidly growing research area because the performance improvement of speech technologies motivates the possibility of building systems that a human can easily operate in order to access useful information via spoken languages. Among the components in a spoken dialog system, the dialog management plays major roles such as discourse analysis, database access, error handling, and system action prediction. This survey covers design issues and recent approaches to the dialog management techniques for modeling the dialogs. We also explain the user simulation techniques for automatic evaluation of spoken dialog systems.

  • BTL business-related systems were developed by the Ministry of Education, Korea Development Institute, Korea Education Development Institute. These systems were effectively support to BTL projects schools that expanding in size. However, compatibility of information is difficult between systems that specific information system developed for the purpose of functional redundancy. In this study, operational readiness, facility management, operations and the assessment phase are divided in the BTL school projects process. And the business functions were analyzed in the related systems. In addition, we are contributed to improve standards and the school BTL business processes to improve the reliability of the process.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation techniques of a generic Internet based telerobotic system. The purpose is to make precious technical information and hands-on experience of the authors widely available for the research community. The paper is based on the telerobotics system that the authors recently implemented between KAIST and Saga University, Japan. In its current functionality, two control modes can be exercised; high-level supervisory control, and low-level supervisory control.
