The urban transit system is operated by driverless and automatic. In driverless and automatic system, the system function is accomplished exactly to obtain the safety and reliability of system and the system is designed to minimize risk. In order to design the system, the functional analysis is performed. Recently functional analysis is performed by design tool which is used and verified by aerospace, military, etc. Generally, the design tool is used to perform functional analysis in urban transit system development project. The design toolassist the system engineer to analysis the function of system in basic design. Therefore, in this paper, it is performed the functional analysis to satisfy the system requirement of urban transit system and to confirm the operation of system using design tool.
The design on the Telemetry Ground System for launch of KSLV(Korea Space Launch Vehicle) in the korean Space center has been conducted in this study. For the optimized system design, first of all, the system deployment plan reflecting the topographic and geographic environments of the space center and launch vehicle characteristics has been developed. The RF link budget analysis for the maximum tracking range, requirement for receiving subsystem including antenna subsystem, requirement for data processing subsystem are also analyzed based on the On-Board Telemetry characteristics and launch vehicle parameters. Based on those analysis, telemetry ground system containing tracking/receiving subsystem, recording subsystem and data processing subsystem, timing subsystem, calibration subsystem and monitoring and control subsystem are designed. Futhermore, the analysis for the maximum permissible data latency and communication protocol between each telemetry station and control center are conducted and the entire system is designed so that the major telemetry parameters selected to the best quality are provided in real time to the control center(RCC, RSC) for the launch mission operation.
Nursing Homes do not have a defined standard in the space area nor does it have a detailed standard facility requirement by law. This can possibly lead to the deterioration of the facility and the system. This directly affects the medical treatment space area within the nursing home. The medical treatment area provides medical treatment to seniors and this is where the seniors get most of their daily services. Therefore, this is research is about the study of the space area of the medical center and the ratio trend of the space area for the medical treatment facility located in senior nursing homes. Ten facilities have been selected in this study to analyze the correlation factors between space area and its trends. The analysis performed includes the conditions relating to the area and what affects the center. We have followed up with a proposal for improvement of the facility and area configuration for the medical treatment facility. Based on the analysis, the following conclusion can be made: First, the senior welfare centers are mostly used as a residence purpose followed a temporary stay of residence facility for the seniors. Second, research indicates that the bigger the facility, nursing and public functions took a larger portion of the space area compared to other services within the senior welfare centers. Third, the study shows the management space area took up about 1%~6% of the entire medical center within the nursing home which is a narrow space area because of the integrated management. Fourth, analysis based on the trend in the time-series indicate after the adoption of the system, there is a continued decline in the space area of nursing, management and public areas. Lastly, since before and after 2008, the space area composition of the nursing facility shows a continuous decline in our study. We can safely conclude that the revised senior welfare act's construction plan has an effect in the facility and is effectively working to meet its requirement. Therefore, the revision of the law is required to reflect the social needs of the residents.
Recently, as the development of Ubiquitous Smart Space (USS) such as U-City is proliferating, preparing a development methodology dedicated to USS characteristics has become one of the crucial issues to increase the productivity of the USS projects. However, since the legacy development methodologies such as traditional UML do not consider the critical components of ubiquitous computing space such as context-awareness, service oriented architecture and multi-agent communication, they are not optimized for USS analysis and design. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a USS-sophisticated development methodology. To do so, a hybrid approach, BPR-USS for space reengineering and UML-USS by amending UML with corresponding toolkit based on StarUML has been implemented. To show the feasibility of the approach described in this paper, an illustrative example with an actual USS development project for a multiplex space in Seoul is shown.
The requirements have been changed during development progresses, since it is impossible to define all of software requirements. These requirements change leads to mistakes because the developers cannot completely understand the software's structure and behavior, or they cannot discover all parts affected by a change. Requirement changes have to be managed and assessed to ensure that they are feasible, make economic sense and contribute to the business needs of the customer organization. We propose a feature-oriented requirements change management method to manage requirements change with value analysis and feature-oriented traceability links including intermediate catalysis using features. Our approach offers two contributions to the study of requirements change: (1) We define requirements change tree to make user requirements change request generalize by feature level. (2) We provide overall process such as change request normalization, change impact analysis, solution dealing with change request, change request implementation, change request evaluation. In addition, we especially present the results of a case study which is carried out in asset management portal system in details.
Background/Aims: The effectiveness of remdesivir treatment in reducing mortality and the requirement for mechanical ventilation (MV) remains uncertain, as randomized controlled trials (RCTs) have produced conflicting results. Methods: We searched MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, and other data resources to find RCTs published prior to April 10, 2023. The selection of studies, assessment of risk of bias, and meta-analysis were conducted according to PRISMA guidelines. The primary outcomes were all-cause mortality and the need to initiate MV. Results: A total of 5,068 articles were screened, from eight RCTs comprising 11,945 patients. The meta-analysis found that, compared to standard care or placebo, remdesivir treatment provided no significant all-cause mortality benefit (pooled risk ratio [RR], 0.93; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.85-1.02; 8 studies; high certainty evidence), while subgroup analyses revealed a trend towards reduced mortality among patients requiring oxygen but not MV (pooled RR, 0.88; 95% CI, 0.77-1.00; 6 studies; I2 = 4%). The need to initiate MV (pooled RR, 0.74; 95% CI, 0.59-0.94; 7 studies; moderate certainty evidence) in remdesivir-treated patients was also reduced compared to controls. Remdesivir significantly increased clinical improvement and discharge and significantly reduced serious adverse events. Conclusions: In this systematic review and meta-analysis of RCTs, it was found that remdesivir treatment did not show a substantial decrease in the risk of mortality. However, it was linked to a reduction in the necessity for additional ventilator support, suggesting remdesivir could be beneficial for COVID-19 patients, particularly those who are not on MV.
Producing organic farm products is one of the high-payoff farming practices considering the rapid increase of consumer's purchasing power. The purpose of this study is to identify the optimal organic farming system in relation to farm income. To cope with the above objectives, present farming conditions and profitability of 15 farmers producing organic products including rice and leaf vegetables as lettuse and cabbage were surveyed in Hongsung and Ahsan Gun, Chungnam Province. Based on the surveyed data, maximization of organic farm income were analyzed under the constrained conditions such as limited monthly labour inputs and competitive use of land by Linear Programming Model. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. In the profitability analysis of 15 farmers producing organic products, rice farmers could earn their farm income more than that of conventional farmers by 50%. On the other hand, the controlled lettuce farmers could get more about 100% than that of it. But the controlled cabbage farm could get more about 40% of it. These organic farm products were saled at high prices comparing with the prices of conventional farm products by 170% ~ 230% even though the crop yields produced by organic materials had decreased. 2. According to the labor requirement of the organically produced crops, rice cultivation was needed more labour inputs than the conventional farming method by 130%. On the other hand lettuce and cabbage could saved labour requirement by 40% and 80% of those respectively. Especially for the rice cultivation concern, higher labor requirement was due to the activities as organic fertilization, soil preparation and pest and weed controll, etc. 3. With the surveyed data from farmers who produced farm commodities, L.P. analysis was implemented to find out the optimul farming system and the maximum income. According to the results of L.P. analysis, 58% of total farm income could get more than the conventional farming system In the case of rice cultivation, one ha of paddy was recommendable to save more labour inputs than the controlled leaf vegetables such as lettuse and cabbage. However, in the controlled leaf vegatables, only 73% of total upland equivalent to 0.3 ha should be cultivated under the condition of labor shortage as the restricted 4 workers. And increasing the size of hogs raising should be recommened to achieve self-sufficiency of organic fertilizer. As pointed out the possibility of organic farming, present farmers producing organic farm products could be able to maximize their income by expanding organic farm size with regard to all conditions of our organic industry. Of course, there are many difficulties in the course of developing organic agriculture. So Government should effort to support the development of our organic agriculture considering the various aspects of production, marketing, Quality certification of organic produces.
The utilization of medical care services has been partly regionalized with the implementation of referral requirement by the government since July 1, 1989 when the health insurance coverage was extended to all the people. For the purpose of regionalization, the whole country has been primarily divided into tertiary care regions, and each of them again into secondary care regions. This study investigates the self-sufficiency for in-patient care services of secondary care regions focusing on why it varies among the regions. In doing so, analysis is performed to examine a model which embodies three sets of hypotheses as follows : 1) The regional self-sufficiency for medical care services would be subject to direct influences of regional characteristics, amount of available services and structural properties of regional medical care system ; 2) The regional characteristics would have indirect effects on the self-sufficiency which are mediated by medical care services ; and 3) The amount of available services would indirectly affect the self-sufficiency by influencing the structure of regional medical care system. The results of analysis were generally consistent with the model. The findings have some practical implications. The regional self-sufficiency for medical care services partly depends upon basic properties of each region which cannot be changed in a short period of time. Thus the self-sufficiency for medical care services can be improved mainly by health policy measures. In some of the regions the self-sufficiency for in-patient care services was much higher or lower than can be predicted from the bed-population ratio. Indication is that the allocation of health resources should be made considering a variety of factors bearing upon the supply of and demand for health care ; not on the basis of just a single criterion like the availability. The self-sufficiency of a certain region is related to not only its own characterstics but also the characteristics of neighboring regions. Therefore, attention should be also directed to the inter-regional relationships in health care when the needs for investment of health resources in a region are assessed. However, it should be noted that this study used the data collected before the referral requirement was imposed. A replication of this analysis using recent data would provide an evaluation of the impact on the self-sufficiency of the referral requirement as well as a confirmation of the findings of this study.
Due to the development of communication technology and expansion of Intelligent Transport System (ITS), the car is changing from a simple mechanical device to second living space which has comprehensive convenience function and is evolved into the platform which is playing as an interface for this role. As the interface area to provide various information to the passenger is being expanded, the research importance about smart car based user experience is rising. This study has a research objective to propose the guidelines regarding the smart car user experience elements. In order to conduct this study, smart car user experience elements were defined as function, interaction, and surface and through the discussions of UX/UI experts, 8 representative techniques, 14 representative techniques, and 8 locations of the glass windows were specified for each element. Following, the smart car users' priorities of the experience elements, which were defined through targeting 100 drivers, were analyzed in the form of questionnaire survey. The analysis showed that the users' priorities in applying the main techniques were in the order of safety, distance, and sensibility. The priorities of the production method were in the order of voice recognition, touch, gesture, physical button, and eye tracking. Furthermore, regarding the glass window locations, users prioritized the front of the driver's seat to the back. According to the demographic analysis on gender, there were no significant differences except for two functions. Therefore this showed that the guidelines of male and female can be commonly applied. Through user requirement analysis about individual elements, this study provides the guides about the requirement in each element to be applied to commercialized product with priority.

Mobile computing devices such as smartphones, tablet computers have become the dominant personal computing platforms. Energy efficiency is a prime design requirement for smart devices. In order to reduce the energy consumption of the smart devices, analysis of performance and energy consumption has become important. However, so far, there is no framework for the analysis and systematic approach to improve the power consumption of the heterogeneous multi-core system. In this paper, we describe a new framework for the analysis of heterogeneous multi-core systems. Also, by use of an analysis tool, can be provide reliability and productivity of development results.
