An underwater structure is made to put with serious damage state by special environmental factors. If this damage phenomena persist, as for the structure, it is generated a structural serious problem because of the corrosion of a reinforcing bar and the loss of the concrete cut end. Repair work of an underwater structure is very harder than repair work in land, and it is actual that certification about a maintenance effect is uncertain. And the existing repair method is applied to a structure damaged with you without verification of a repair effect by a foreign reward and experience. In this study, a repair method about an underwater structure was proposed and observed a behavior characteristic and interface failure of an specimens. and comparison analyzed an effect of a proposed maintenance method.
After earthquakes FRP sheets are often used for the rehabilitation of damaged Reinforced Concrete (RC) beamcolumn connections. Connections with minor to moderate damage are often dealt with by applying FRP sheets after a superficial repair of the cracks using resin paste or high strength mortar but without infusion of thin resin solution under pressure into the cracking system. This technique is usually adopted in these cases due to the fast and easy-to-apply procedure. The experimental investigation reported herein aims at evaluating the effectiveness of repairing the damaged beam-column connections using FRP sheets after a meticulous but superficial repair of their cracking system using resin paste. The investigation comprises experimental results of 10 full scale beam-column joint specimens; five original joints and the corresponding retrofitted ones. The repair technique has been applied to RC joints with different joint reinforcement arrangements with minor to severe damage brought about by cyclic loading for the purposes of this work. Aiming at quantitative concluding remarks about the effectiveness of the repair technique, data concerning response loads, loading stiffness and energy absorption values have been acquired and commented upon. Furthermore, comparisons of damage index values and values of equivalent viscous damping, as obtained during the test of the original specimens, with the corresponding ones observed in the loading of the repaired ones have also been evaluated and commented. Based on these comparisons, it is deduced that the technique under investigation can be considered to be a rather satisfactory repair technique for joints with minor to moderate damage taking into account the rapid, convenient and easy-to-apply character of its application.

This study was performed to evaluate bonding strength of the composites section made of existing concrete and repair mortar in domestic. The pull-out tester was used to test bonding strength for the composites section made of each materials. The results of the test was used to evaluate the korean industrial standard of polymer modified cement mortars for maintenance in concrete structures.

The purpose of this study is to improve the durability performance of polymer modified cement composites for repair of concrete under combined aging conditions. The experimental procedure was divided into three parts. First, the replacement level of mineral admixtures in polymer modified cement composites were determined in an experimental study based on a Box Behnken design. Second, the flow value, compressive strength and chloride permeability test of sixteen types of mixtures were conducted. Test results show that the polymer modified cement composites were effected on the improvement of the compressive strength and permeability performance. Third, the effects on the replacement level of silica fume mixture was evaluated by the compressive strength, chloride permeability, chemical resistance and repeated freezing and thawing cycles test. They demonstrated that the polymer modified cement composites using mixture of silica fume, fly ash, and blast furnace slag improved the durability performance.

In this study, the fire resistance performance of polymer cement mortars which are used as a representative repair material for section restoration, is evaluated and residual bond strength is measured by considering unity with concrete. According to the evaluation of fire resistance performance of re-emulsification type polymer cement mortars, residual compressive strength was drastically decreased according to heating temperatures with an increase of polymer addition rate, and this seems to be attributable to the application of polymer film. In addition, an explosion phenomenon occurred frequently with an increase of addition rate, so this should be considered when selecting repair materials and processing.

The concrete used most in construction materials. There is an overcrowded iron dimensions use of the concrete at time of the other concrete theory on the reinforcing rod back which did congestion and compares it with this, and there are more few dimensions of the aggregate than concrete, and quantity of aggregate passage is superior in mortar than concrete. If a volume rate of the aggregate writes mortar than concrete against this, therefore, unit amount increases, and quantity of paste increases and quantity of dry shrinkage than increase concrete. However, I let I regulate lay priest distribution of the aggregate, and the results rates increase and reduce unit amount and decrease quantity of dry shrinkage, and separation resistance and the gap passage characteristics are judged because it can be it in a substitute document of very superior concrete. I came to carry out the study that I watched to let I was useful a little more and do the improvement repair of a become building wall body, a basement pillar and repair reinforcement of the assistant in the reinforcing rod back, the old age when I made congestion here. I regulated lay priest distribution of the aggregate in the study and regulated substitution rate of the aggregate (40%, 50%, 60%) and divided W/C 30%, 40% standards and produced mortar and I compared quantity of air by this, slump, compression robbery and showed it this time.

Polymer modified cement mortar (PCM) can improve the performance of adhesion strength, flexural strength, chemical resistance, etc., compared with cement mortar, and is widely used when repairing RC structures. However, PCM causes a burst in an environment with high temperature and fire rate, which causes problems in the stability of the structure. In this study, for the purpose of developing explosive reduction PCM, the polymer mixing ratio is 2%, 4%, 6%, the fiber length is 6mm, 12mm, 6+12mm, and the PP fiber mixing rate is 0.05 Vol% and 0.1 Vol%. Furnace heating experiment (600℃, 800℃) was carried out. As a result of comparative analysis of the explosive properties, it was confirmed that the explosive reduction effect due to the fiber incorporation was insufficient when the polymer mixing amount was 6% or more.

The Physical performance of use materials was evaluated to improve durability of fast-paced repair mortar used at rapid construction sites. The fastening performance and basic performance were evaluated by substituting ferronickel grinding slag residues, rapid settlement, and EVA-based polymer for mortar. As a result, the compressive strength, flexural strength and adhesion strength were increased due to the use of FS Fine Aggregate and RS Fine Aggregate. The chloride ion promotion test of fast-polymer mortar kept the chloride inhibitory performance from 7 days to 28 days when fNS was used less than 50%. Durability degradation due to the use of FS Fine Aggregate and RS Fine Aggregate has not been found, and it is believed that further consideration of economic and long-term durability will be required for use as alternative Aggregate for construction and civil engineering.

Rapid and effective repair methods are desired to enable quick reopening of damaged bridges after an earthquake occurs, especially for those bridges that are critical for emergency response and other essential functions. This paper presents results of tests conducted as a proof-of-concept in the effectiveness of a proposed method using externally bonded carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites to rapidly repair severely damaged RC columns with different damage conditions. The experimental work included five large-scale severely damaged square RC columns with the same geometry and material properties but with different damage conditions due to different loading combinations of bending, shear, and torsion in the previous tests. Over a three-day period, each column was repaired and retested under the same loading combination as the corresponding original column. Quickset repair mortar was used to replace the removed loose concrete. Without any treatment to damaged reinforcing bars, longitudinal and transverse CFRP sheets were externally bonded to the prepared surface to restore the column strength. Measured data were analyzed to investigate the performance of the repaired columns compared to the corresponding original column responses. It was concluded that the technique can be successful for severely damaged columns with damage to the concrete and transverse reinforcement. For severely damaged columns with damaged longitudinal reinforcement, the technique was found to be successful if the damaged longitudinal reinforcement is able to provide tensile resistance, or if the damage is located at a section where longitudinal CFRP strength can be developed.
