  • New renewable energy information becomes one of the greatest issues all over the world because of serious environment problems and limited fossil resources. The new renewable energy source information system is treated seriously for efficient management and distribution as dealing with these energy problems. However, it is difficult to manage and utilize new renewable energy information because gathering and surveying information is progressed individually in each research field. Therefore this paper will establish ISP(Information strategy Planning) and propose the basic management system based-on GIS to analyze new renewable energy such as solar energy, wind power, small hydro, biomass, geothermal etc. and build the integration management system. The proposed integration management system can provide spatial analysis using thematic map, data search, data import/export and interpolation about users quenes.

  • Recently, the renewable energy resources play an important role as an energy resources of future due to an environmental pollution and lack of resources and so on. The development and diffusion of information systems related to renewable energy resources have been driven actively abroad. However, at domestic an efficient history management for renewable energy resource data and web retrieve service are not provided. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a history data management system for the renewable energy resources, which stores and manages vast history information of renewable energy resource data systematically. This system collects renewable energy resource data in the outside observation system and stores them in the history database. The stored Information is retrieved through the history query process and can be provided in various forms - table, graph, chart and counter line, etc. - on the internet. Especially, the proposed system manages the history data in real-time so the latest information is always provided to the users through the web interface.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the structure of renewable energy market in order to deploy more renewable energy in Korea on the basis of information asymmetry between suppliers and demanders. To attain this purpose we develop the model to analyze and simulate the renewable market using system dynamics. This model is developed not to forecast the accurate size of market but to learn more structure of market using our limited data, mental model and knowledge of market.

  • Renewable energy information becomes one of the greatest issues, but it is difficult for a general user to manage and utilize new renewable energy information. Therefore we develop the utilization system of the resource map which aimed to provide the information for space analysis and vertification of the validity for development of each part of solar, wind, smallhydro, biomass, geothermal. But this system is needed to gather more supporting data and make resonable index to make various decisions.

  • Cameroon is a lower middle-income country with a population of 25.87 million inhabitants distributed over a surface area of 475,442 ㎢. Cameroon has very rich potentials in renewable energy resources such as solar energy, wind energy, small hydropower, geothermal energy and biomass. However, renewable energy constitutes less than 0.1% of energy mix of the country. The energy generation mix of Cameroon is dominated by large hydropower and thermal power. Cameroon ratified the Paris Agreement in July 2016 with an ambitious 20% greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction. This study attempts to investigate some renewable energy deployment policy-instruments that could enable the country enhance renewable energy deployment, gain energy independence, fulfill Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and achieve Sustainable Development Goals. It begins with an analysis of the status of energy sector in Cameroon. It further highlights the importance of renewable energy in mitigating climate change by decarbonizing the energy mix of the country to fulfill NDC and SDGs. Moreover, this study proposes some renewable energy deployment policy-solutions to the government. Solar energy is the most feasible renewable energy source in Cameroon. Feed-in Tariffs (FiT), is the best renewable energy support policy for Cameroon. Finally, this study concludes with some recommendations such as the necessity of building an Energy Storage System as well a renewable energy information and statistics infrastructure.

  • Because of the rapid increase of energy consumption, we have some problems such as environmental pollution, global warming, the oil shocks, and so on. To solve these problems, concern about renewable energy such as solar energy, wind force, and water energy is continuously increasing. America, Europe, and Japan have developed a system that manage and utilize the information of the renewable energy resources. However, in the domestic, renewable energy information system was not effectively built yet. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a renewable energy information system, which store and manage solar radiation energy data. We implemented the system using ArcView GIS. Also the system is able to retrieve the information from the energy database through various spatiotemporal queries. In addition, user can identify the results of summary data in the form of chart, graph, and counter line. The implemented system is supplied to the user through the web by ArcIMS.

  • Energy autonomy is a system that is sustained by energy from an independent and distributed source such as renewable energy. In this paper, we propose a robotic energy autonomy in which a robot obtains energy from a renewable energy source with a limited storage capacity. As an energy transfer method, wireless power transfer is used to solve the problem of the conventional contact charging method, mechanical complexity, and to obtain high energy transfer efficiency, the image information is used to align the transmitting and receiving coils accurately. A small scale thermoelectric energy source with boost converter, battery charger, and wireless power transfer coil is constructed and an actual charging experiment is conducted to verify the proposed autonomy system.
