Bottom ash를 사용한 저강도 고유동 충전재의 강도특성 (Compressive Strength of CLSM Containing Bottom ash)

  • This research was undertaken on the use of bottom ash as a fine aggregate in Controlled. Low-strength Material(CLSM). The mixtures contained constant fly ash. And four different level of bottom ash with fly ash contents, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% are investigated. Mixture proportions were developed for producing CLSM at three 28-day strength levels: removal with tools (less than $7kgf/cm^{2}$), removal by mechanical means (less than $200kgf/cm^{2}$), and removal with power equipment (less than $83kgf/cm^{2}$). To obtain these strengths, cement contents of 30, 60, and $120kg/cm^{3}$ were utilized. The compressive strength properties support the concept that by-product bottom ash can be successfully used in CLSM.

  • Chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) has been widely accepted for the global planarization of multi-layer structures in semiconductor manufacturing. However, it still has various problems to the CMP equipment, in particular, among the CMP components, process variables are very important parameters in determining the removal rate and non-uniformity. Using a design of experiment (DOE) approach, this study was performed investigating the interaction between the various parameters such as turntable and head speed, down force and back pressure during CMP. Using statistical analysis techniques, a better understanding of the interaction behavior between the various parameters and the effect on removal rate, no-uniformity and ETC (edge to center) is achieved.

드라이아이스 펠렛 분사에 의한 모의 시편의 제염 (Decontamination of Simulated Test Piece by Dry Ice Pellet Blasting)

  • Dry decontamination technique is required for maintaining nuclear material handling equipment contaminated with highly radioactive material in a hot cell. In order to determine the optimum blasting conditions of dry ice pellet blasting device, the basic experiments have been conducted on the simulated test specimens of four types of metals. The removal efficiency of test piece was evaluated by the XRF analysis and the change of the surface condition before and after blasting. The removal efficiency of cesium on loose contamination was 100% under blasting pressure; 3 kg/$cm^2$, blasting distance; 10 cm, blasting time: 10 sec. In case of fixed contamination, the removal efficiency of cesium was almost 96% under blasting pressure; 4kg/$cm^2$, blasting distance; 10 cm, blasting time; 30 sec.

선형 롤 CMP에서 플로팅 노즐을 이용한 연마 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Polishing Characteristics Using Floating Nozzle in Linear Roll CMP)

  • Conventional etching technology is in the face of problems such as dishing, erosion resulting from non-uniform removal of film. Advanced printed circuit board (PCB) requires accurate wire formation with the aid of planarization by chemical mechanical polishing (CMP). Linear roll CMP is a line contact continuous process which removes the film by pressurization and rotation while slurry is supplied to polishing pad attached to the roll. This paper focuses on the design of floating nozzle on the linear roll CMP equipment which makes the slurry supply uniformly on the roll pad. Experimental results show that removal rate using the floating nozzle increases 3 times higher than that without it and non-uniformity is less than 15%.

  • Boulder detection methods and its compensation is discussed with consideration of boulder conditions in soft ground tunneling by shielded TBM. For analysis of proper compensation methods for boulder obstruction, its removal costs and cases on eight projects are presented. Compensation for boulder obstruction removal by volume or weight is not practical for most tunneling situation, but compensation by crew time is probably the most equitable method. If boulders are anticipated on project, boulder removal plan must be considered with proper equipment selection.

  • In this paper, regulation for form work in standard specification among Korea and foreign countries are studied and compared. Within the scope of this paper, regulation regarding fabrication of form and form removal are mainly focused on. Standard specification prescribed by construction temporary equipment association provides detailed regulations and well arranged. ACI 347-04, CEB-FIP and BS EN 13670 had different style and scope compared to domestic specification. Especially, regulation for form removal in ACI prescribed in terms of minimum period.

Modified Gaussian Filter based on Fuzzy Membership Function for AWGN Removal in Digital Images

  • Various digital devices were supplied throughout the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Accordingly, the importance of data processing has increased. Data processing significantly affects equipment reliability. Thus, the importance of data processing has increased, and various studies have been conducted on this topic. This study proposes a modified Gaussian filter algorithm based on a fuzzy membership function. The proposed algorithm calculates the Gaussian filter weight considering the standard deviation of the filtering mask and computes an estimate according to the fuzzy membership function. The final output is calculated by adding or subtracting the Gaussian filter output and estimate. To evaluate the proposed algorithm, simulations were conducted using existing additive white Gaussian noise removal algorithms. The proposed algorithm was then analyzed by comparing the peak signal-to-noise ratio and differential image. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has superior noise reduction performance and improved performance compared to the existing method.

  • 본 논문에서는 도광판(LGP, Light Guide Panel)의 미세먼지 세정을 위해 건식 점착롤 제진과 코로나 대전을 이용한 제전(ESD, electrostatic discharge) 방식을 적용한 건식 세정 장치를 개발한다. 이를 위해 점착롤 제진과 제전 방식을 혼합 적용할 수 있는 세정 메커니즘을 설계하고, LGP를 자동으로 로딩/언로딩 및 이송할 수 있는 장치를 설계하고 구현한다. 그리고 이물질 및 미세먼지 세정 실험을 통해 개발된 시스템이 안정적으로 동작함을 확인하였다.

천연중화제를 이용한 암모니아 제거특성 (Characteristics of Ammonia Removal by Natural Neutralizer)

  • 천연중화제의 스크러버 타입의 탈취장치에 의한 암모니아 제거반응 특성 및 중화반응에의 산화반응의 관여여부에 대하여 연구하였다. 중화제 희석비 및 유입유량, 공기유량, 암모니아 초기 농도를 운전인자로 선정하여 이들이 암모니아 제거효율에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 중화제 희석비는 1.0%, 중화제 유입유량은 $60m{\ell}/min$이 적절하고, 암모니아 초기농도 및 공기유량에 대해서는 loading rate를 함께 고려하면 제거효율에 큰 영향성은 나타내지 않았다. 암모니아의 중화반응에 산화반응의 관여여부를 살펴본 결과, 암모니아의 아질산염 및 질산염으로의 산화반응이 확인되었으며, 중화제량이 증가할수록 그 산화반응의 진행정도도 증가함을 확인하였다. 즉, 중화제에 의한 흡수현상과 함께 부분적으로 산화반응이 관여함을 확인하였다.

방사성토양 복원을 위한 수직형 동전기-세정장치의 최적제염조건 도출 (Optimum Remediation Conditions of Vertical Electrokinetic-Flushing Equipment to Decontaminate a Radioactive Soil)

  • 방사성 토양을 복원하기 위해 원자력시설 주변 부지의 수리지질 특성을 분석하여 국내 방사성 토양 복원에 적합한 수직형 동전기세정장치를 개발하였다. 또한, 이 수직형 동전기세정장치를 이용한 실험을 통해 원자력시설 주변 방사성토양을 복원하기 위한 최적 세정제를 선정하고 단기간에 높은 제거효율을 확보할 수 있는 최적제염조건들을 도출하였다. 초산을 세정제로 사용하였을 때 토양으로부터 코발트와 세슘의 제거효율이 가장 높으므로 동전기제염을 위한 최적 세정제로 초산을 선정하였다 동전기세정제염 시 세정제 주입량을 증가 시켰을 때 토양으로부터 코발트와 세슘의 제거효율은 평균 약 4.6% 제거효율이 증가했고 토양폐액 발생량도 동전기제염의 1.5배 인 2.4mL/g이었다. 동전기토양셀의 전압구배를 2배로 증가시켜 4 V/cm를 적용시켰을 때, 코발트와 세슘의 제거효율은 각각 98.9%와 96.7%로 평균 약 4.3% 제거효율이 증가했다. 그리고 세정제 농도를 0.01M로부터 0.05M로 증가시킨 후 제염실험 결과 코발트의 제거효율은 상승했지만 세슘의 제거효율은 감소하였다. 위 실험결과 개발한 수직형 동전기세정장치의 최적제염조건으로 제염시간은 20일 동안 초산 $0.01M{\sim}0.05M$을 세정제로 사용하여 동전기토양셀의 전압구배는 4 V/cm를 가하고, 2.4mL/g의 세정제를 주입하는 것이다.
