상용지도를 이용한 DEM 구성기법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Construction Technique of DEM Using a Commercial Map)

  • This paper presents a method of the constructing DEM(Digital Elevation Model) from the image data acquired from a commercial map using the scanner. Data acquistion, mark elimination, linking the broken line, elevation interpolation and 3D display processing are performed and the results are satisfatory.

VICARIOUS GROUND CALIBRATION OF AIRBORNE MULTISPECTRAL SCANNER (AMS) DATA BASED ON FIELD CAMPAIGN

  • The radiometric correction is prerequisite to derive both land and ocean surface properties from optical remote sensing data. Radiometric calibration of remotely sensed data has traditionally been accomplished by means of vicarious ground calibration techniques. The purpose of this study is to calibrate the radiometric characteristic of Airborne Multispectral Scanner (AMS) by field campaign. In order to calibrate the AMS data, four different spectral tarps which are 3.5%, 23%, 35%, and 53% were validated by GER-3700 that is the surface reflectance measurement equipment and were utilized. After validation of the spectral tarps, each reflectance from the spectral tarps was compared with Digital Number (DN) value of AMS. There was very high correlation between tarp reflectance and DN value of AMS so that radiometric calibration of AMS data has been accomplished by those results. The calibrated AMS data were validated with in-situ measured reflectance data from artificial and natural target. Also QuickBird image data were used for verifying the results of AMS radiometric calibration. This presentation discusses the results of the above tests.

  • Contrary to the traditional text-based information, 4S(GIS,GNSS,SIIS,ITS) information can contribute to the citizen's welfare in upcoming era. Recently, GSIS(Geo-Spatial Information System) has been applied and stressed out in various fields. As analyzed the data from GSIS arena, the position information of objects and targets is crucial and critical. Therefore, several methods of getting and knowing position are proposed and developed. From this perspective, Position collection and processing are the heart of 4S technology. We develop 4S-Van that enables real-time acquisition of position and attribute information and accurate image data in remote site. In this study, the configuration of 4S-Van equipped with GPS, INS, CCD and eye-safe laser scanner is shown and the merits of DGPS/INS integration approach for geo-referencing is briefly discussed. The algorithm of DGPS/INS integration fur determination of six parameters of motion is eccential in the 4S-Van to avoid or simplify the complicated computation such as photogrammetric triangulation. 4S-Van has the application of Laser-Mobile Mapping System for three-dimensional data acquisition that merges the texture information from CCD camera. The technique is also applied in the fields of virtual reality, car navigation, computer games, planning and management, city transportation, mobile communication, etc.

구름을 포함한 푸쉬브룸 스캐너 영상의 밴드간 상호등록 (Image Registration of Cloudy Pushbroom Scanner Images)

  • 푸쉬브룸 스캐너 PAN영상과 MS영상 사이에는 오프셋이 존재하며 서로 다른 시간과 각도로 촬영하고 있다. 이로 인하여 구름과 같이 빠르게 움직이는 물체는 오정합 점들을 생성하며 이는 PAN영상과 MS영상간의 상호영상등록의 오차를 발생시킨다. 특히 구름(안개 및 스모그 포함)이 있는 기상조건 하에서 얻어진 위성영상은 구름에 의해 가려진 지형정보를 추출하는 데 있어 많은 문제를 야기하기 때문에 정확한 영상등록을 위해서는 효과적인 구름 탐지 및 제거 알고리즘이 필요하다. 구름 제거를 위한 관련 연구들은 크게 다음과 같은 세 가지로 나누어지는데 (1) 구름 검출 알고리즘을 통해 구름으로 여겨지는 영역을 분리하여 구름영역을 제거하는 방법 (2) 다중분광영상의 밴드정보를 이용하는 방법 (3) 다시기 영상정보를 이용하는 방법들로 나눌 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 구름 지역을 제거하는 방법과 다시기영상을 이용하는 방법을 사용하여 구름이 포함된 푸쉬브룸 스캐너 밴드간 영상등록의 정확도를 비교, 분석하였다.

WAVScanner : 웹기반 안티 바이러스 스캐너 설계 및 구현 (WAVScanner : Design and Implement of Web based Anti-Virus Scanner)

  • 컴퓨터 및 네트워크의 발달로 무한한 정보들을 쉽고 빠르게 사용할 수 있게 되었지만 이에 따른 부작용도 증가되었다. 이러한 부작용에는 해킹이나 크래킹 개인정보 유출 등이 있으며 최근에는 컴퓨터 바이러스가 심각한 문제로 제기되고 있다. 컴퓨터 바이러스에 대한 해결책은 안티 바이러스이다. 안티 바이러스는 클라이언트 측에 설치되어 서버에서 바이러스의 시그니쳐를 내려받아 업그레이드 하는 형태로 구현되고 있으나 최근에는 서버와 연동하는 제품들도 생겨나게 되었다. 그러나 이러한 안티 바이러스 시스템들은 사용자의 무관심으로 적절히 시그니쳐가 갱신되지 않으면 안티 바이러스가 정상적으로 자동하지 않으며 인격관리가 되지 않는다는 단점이 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 인터넷 서버에 설치되어 원격으로 관리할 수 있는 웹기반 안티 바이러스 스캐너(WAVScanner)를 설계 및 구현하였다. 이를 통해 새로운 바이러스에 대한 효과적인 안티바이러스 대책 수립과 백신 개발을 가속화할 수 있을 것이다.

화이버 레이저 원격용접 기술개발 (Development of remote welding system using fiber laser)

  • Nowadays, most automotives companies are making use of laser welding in car body assembly shop. But even though laser welding is better than resistance spot welding in many points, its application has been limited to special technology for manufacturing. The paper introduces in the field of remote welding system (RWS) to improve the process efficiency of laser welding. Positioning time of RWS between welding stitches is dramatically reduced to zero. It is a kind of solutions to generalize laser welding in mass production. This RWS consists of fiber laser, industrial robot and 3-axis scanner.

Determination of Epipolar Geometry for High Resolution Satellite Images

  • The geometry of satellite image captured by linear pushbroom scanner is different from that of frame camera image. Since the exterior orientation parameters for satellite image will vary scan line by scan line, the epipolar geometry of satellite image differs from that of frame camera image. As we know, 2D affine orientation for the epipolar image of linear pushbroom scanners system are well-established by using the collinearity equation (Testsu Ono, 1999). Also, another epipolar geometry of linear pushbroom scanner system is recently established by Habib(2002). He reported that the epipolar geometry of linear push broom satellite image is realized by parallel projection based on 2D affine models. Here, in this paper, we compared the Ono's method with Habib's method. In addition, we proposed a method that generates epipolar resampled images. For the experiment, IKONOS stereo images were used in generating epipolar images.

The Chlorophyll Concentration in the Southwestern East Sea Observed by Coastal Zone Color Scanner (CZCS)

  • Monthly mean chlorophyll concentration in the East Sea was estimated from the ocean color observed by the Coastal Zone Color Scanner (CZCS) on Nimbus-7 satellite which had performed various remote sensing missions from 1979 to 1986. The areas of high chlorophyll concentration were found in the sea between Siberia coast and Sakhalin Island, in the Donghan Bay and in the Ulleung Basin. In the southwestern East Sea, especially in the area near Ulleung Island, the yearly maximum chlorophyll concentration occurred in December. The chlorophyll concentration in Ulleung Basin in December was about two times higher than during spring bloom in April. The early winter bloom occurred in the warm side of the front that was formed between warm water from the East China Sea and nutrition rich cold water from the northern East Sea.

  • Bluetooth is the most promising network paradigm which ca open the new area in the information technology. Especially, bluetooth can link all the electrical products and PCs(Personal Computer) to cellular phone or PDA. In this paper, the data from ECU which are gathered by scanner are communicated between tow PCs using the bluethooth modules. The acquired data are ECU's self diagnosis signal and sensor output signal. Self diagnosis signals are very important to check the ECU's state and sensor output signals. Using these data, the possibility of wireless communication with ECU is developed and verified. Protocol stack of bluetooth is L2CAP through HCI and wireless communication software of ECU's signal is developed using VC++ in Windows 98 environment.

CANDU형 원전 칼란드리아 및 내장품 원격 육안검사 기술 개발 (Development of Remote Visual Inspection Technology for CANDU Calandria & Internals)

  • During the period of retubing work for the licensing renewal, the fuel channels, calandria tubes and feeders of CANDU Reactors will be replaced, and calandria visual examination will be performed. This period is a unique opportunity to inspect the inside of the calandria. The visual inspection for the calandria vessel and its internals of Wolsong NPP is scheduled for confirming the calandria integrity. The first visual inspection for the calandria is planned in Pt. Lepreau led by AECL. The visual inspection for Wolsong NPP, led by NETEC(Nuclear Engineering & Technology Institute) of KHNP, will employ 3D laser scanner and 3D CAD Mock-up for the first time in the world, in addition to a conventional video camera. The inspection system is composed of a robot with the 3D laser scanner, a video camera and a hardness meter.
