실시간 무선 원격 제어 및 모니터링 시스템의 구현 (Implementation of a Realtime Wireless Remote Control and Monitoring Systems)

  • 기존의 웹 기반 정보 서비스 시스템은 실시간 정보제공과 응급상황에 대한 원격 지원 조치가 어렵다는 문제점들을 갖는다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서, 본 논문에서는 모바일 통신기기(휴대폰, PDA, Smart Phone, Webpad)를 이용하여 원격시스템을 관리 및 모니터링하고 실시간으로 원격지의 시스템을 제어할 수 있는 실시간 무선 원격제어 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 제안하는 시스템은 원격지 예를 들어 '사무 빌딩'과 보육시설 예를 들면 '유치원'에 적용하였다. 사무 빌딩에 구현한 경우는 유선(웹 환경) 또는 무선(모바일 장비)을 통해서 건물관리 및 시스템 환경에 설치된 각종 센서정보를 실시간으로 관리 와 제어할 수 있다. 유치원 시스템에 적용한 경우는 유치원 아동의 활동을 인증된 사용자의 핸드폰으로 실시간 모니터링 할 수 있는 서비스가 제공된다. 제안한 시스템의 보안기능은 모바일장비 사용자 인증과 대상 시스템 접근제어 기능을 갖는다. 제안하는 시스템은 실시간 사용자 인증 기능과 시스템 접근제어기능을 실행하도록 하여 자원관리자와 모바일 장비 사용자의 안전성을 높이고, 중단 없는 서비스의 제공뿐만 아니라 실시간 모바일 서비스 환경을 제공한다.

  • We are developing a shared remote control mobile robot for aerial work in nuclear power plants (NPPs); a robot consists of a mobile platform, a telescopic mast, and a dual-arm slave with a working tool. It is used at a high location operating the manual operation mechanism of a fuel changer of a heavy water NPP. The robot system can cut/weld a pipe remotely in the case of an emergency or during the dismantling of the NPP. Owing to the challenging control mission considering limited human operator cognitive capability, some remote tasks require a shared control scheme, which demands systematic software design and integration. Therefore, we designed the architecture of the software systematically.

  • 본 논문에서는 이동하는 로봇을 제어하기 위한 웹 상에서의 시스템 구성을 논의한다. 즉, 웹에서의 제어 방법을 구체적으로 설명하고 실험한 결과를 나타내었다. 시스템은 서버 측에 있는 간단한 인터페이스를 엑세스하여 원격제어 한다. 이를 위해, 원격 사용자는 인터넷상에서 시스템을 원격으로 조절하기 위하여 www 브라우저가 설치된 범용 컴퓨터가 있어야 한다. 원격 사용자가 서버 측의 html파일을 구동하여 신호를 입력하면, 자바로 작성된 프로그램이 직렬포트에 연결된 기기를 구동한다. 원격제어 신호는 적외선 센서를 거쳐 라인트레이서에 전달되어 운행을 원격으로 제어한다. 웹에서의 시스템의 동작 확인을 위하여 시스템의 기기로는 라인트레이서를 사용하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose a remote control system which is used by internet network system in the small water booster supply. So far, TMTC(Tele Metering Tele Control) has been used to control and monitor small water booster pump. But it is possible and easy to control and observe local booster panel with the rapid development of internet, This new system is to provide operators and managers with sufficient information and control in order to implement the operation in an efficient and economical way. This system consists of three parts that are controller, netpump server and netview client. Controller has a dual architecture. The motive for installing controller is the continuous production and supply of drinking water.

  • In order to successfully exploit underwater resources, the first step would be a marine environmental research and exploration on the seafloor. Traditionally one sets up a long-term underwater experimental unit on the seafloor and retrieves the unit later after a certain period time. Essential to these applications is the reliable teleoperation and telemetering of the unit. This study presents ultrasonic-wave remote control system and an underwater sound recognition algorithm that can identify the sound signal without the influence of disturbances due to underwater environmental changes. The proposed method provides a means suitable for units which require low power dissipation and long-time underwater operation. We demonstrate its ability of securing stability and fast sound recognition through experimental methods.

Merging of Satellite Remote Sensing and Environmental Stress Model for Ensuring Marine Safety

  • A virtual vessel traffic control system is introduced to contribute to prevent a marine accident such as collision and stranding from happening. Existing VTS has its limit. The virtual vessel traffic control system consists of both data acquisition by satellite remote sensing and a simulation of traffic environment stress based on the satellite data, remotely sensed data And it could be used to provide timely and detailed information about the marine safety, including the location, speed and direction of ships, and help us operate vessels safely and efficiently. If environmental stress values are simulated for the ship information derived from satellite data, proper actions can be taken to prevent accidents. Since optical sensor has a high spatial resolution, JERS satellite data are used to track ships and extract their information. We present an algorithm of automatic identification of ship size and velocity. It lastly is shown that based on ship information extracted from JERS data, a qualitative evaluation method of environmental stress is introduced.

Improved Coded Mark Inversion for the Passive Radio Frequency Transmission System of the Electronic Time Fuze

  • To fit the limited volume and power consumption of the passive radio frequency transmission system of the electronic time fuze, an improved coded mark inversion (CMI) is proposed in this letter. From the performance analysis, the energy transmission efficiency of this encoding method is at least 50% higher than that of CMI and NRZ. Finally, the experiment results show that by adopting this improved CMI, the change of DC voltage through magnetic coupling is lower than 0.2 V when the accuracy of data transmission is above 99.5%.

Secure Message Transmission against Remote Control System

  • A remote control system (RCS) can monitor a user's confidential information by using the broadcast receivers in Android OS. However, the current RCS detection methods are based only on a virus vaccine. Therefore, if the user's smartphone is infected by a brand new RCS, these methods cannot detect this new RCS immediately. In this paper, we present a secure message transmission medium. This medium is completely isolated from networks and can communicate securely through a QR code channel by using symmetric key cryptography such as the AES block cipher and public key cryptography such as elliptic curve cryptography for providing security. Therefore, the RCS cannot detect any confidential information. This approach is completely immune to any RCS attacks. Furthermore, we present a secure QR code-based key exchange protocol by using the elliptic curve Diffie-Hellman method and message transmission protocols; the proposed protocol has high usability and is very secure.

  • This thesis proposed a method that connecting step motor to image send board which can acquire image to move and remote controlling via streaming image board of PDA(personal digital assistant) based on embedded Linux which is using wireless network There are three embedded Linux system to embody movable image send board. First, though the wireless network a signal of PDA is transmitted to the board which has embedded Linux and a system which is controlled by the expansion I/O port of the board. Second, it's a system streaming realtime image at a PDA which has embedded Linux. The last is a system which controls a process of image board using TCP/IP communication and image send board at PC. These are the system which can use industrial settings and homes. It can also make use of an embodiment method about travelling image robot.

  • To develop the wireless remote opreating system of walking rice transplanter, this study was carried out for manufacturing the wireless remote control system acting upon the transplanter. The first report of this study contained about the construction and operating method of a developed remote control system for 2-row walking type transplanter. It is the second report about the field test for an experimental transplanter being attached a wireless control system and for a conventional transplanter. The test was executed to investigate the characteristics of velocity, rectilinearity, turning time, interval of roots and of rows, and field capacity in accordance with various engine speeds for an experimental transplanter. The measurements of this test were compared with those of the conventional transplanter. The obtained results were as follows : 1. The operating velocity of the experimental transplanter was faster than the conventional one when the high speed range of the engine but the variances were very large. 2. The rectilinearity, interval of raws and of roots, and the turning time of the experimental transplanter was inferior to the conventional one at some speed ranges of the engine. 3. Field capacity of the experimental transplanter was superior to the conventional one at high speed of the engine. 4. There were some disadvantages for the experimental transplanter to operate, because it was constructed without any aid devices, such as float and hydraulic system for instance. But if the remote control system of this study equip at the modern walking transplanter, it will be improved and utilized without defects which was revealed from this test.
