To achieve these aims, this study used SELS(Seoul education longitudinal study) of Seoul Education Research & Information Institute. Also, analysis as well as descriptive statistics calculation on average, deviation, skewness and kurtosis of variable factor and calculated characteristic item and degree of reliability(Cronbach ${\alpha}$). For goodness of fit test, this study used TLI(Tucker-Lewis index) and RMSEA(Root mean square error of approximation). To achieve the ultimate objects, this study used LMA(latent mean analysis) for analysis of difference career maturity, achievement goal, learning attitude and academic achievement relation with subjects-related career education in middle school students. The results are as follows. First, experience relation with subjects-related career education were influenced on career maturity with career cognition. Second, experience relation with subjects-related career education were influenced on achievement goal, learning attitude, and larger than career maturity and academic achievement. • The purpose of this research is to evaluate teachers' perception of Korean's achievement standard-based testing system (ASTS) and its process of implementation, and to propose a method of evaluating students' academic aptitude based on university entrance examinations. The core of the 2015 Revised National Curriculum is asserted by changes in classroom instruction, specifically encouraging students' participation in class based on a new method to evaluate student achievement. A total of 124 teachers in charge of student career counseling in middle and high schools in the Jeonbuk province participated in the study. The schools implementing the new method of ASTS were using 61.6% for unit school cut-off point, as opposed to the existing fixed cut-off point of 38.4%. The teachers understanding of the achievement evaluation method was rated 3.54 on the 5-point Likert scale, implying that they had a relatively good understanding of the method. Some of the challenges associated with reflecting the scores from the new student ASTS include difficulty of comparing scores across schools; grade inflation; advantages and disadvantages associated with the type of high school; and the increased importance of university entrance examination. In the ASTS, the fairness during the evaluation of the high school grades and the consequently the reliability of the evaluation prove worrying. As an ultimate result, selecting students based on university admissions data became untrustworthy. There should be further discussions on how students' achievement obtained from the new ASTS should be applied during the university admission process and how students' academic aptitude can be assessed in order to set a direction for secondary school education.

  • This study aims to determine whether gender moderates the impact of grit on academic achievement through learning engagement among Chinese high school students. Data were collected through an online survey targeting 345 high school students purposively sampled from a high school in Guangdong, China. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS PC+ Win ver. 25.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro ver. 4.2. The applied statistical methods were frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and moderated mediation effect analysis. The conclusion of the study is as follows. First, grit had a significant positive correlation with learning engagement and academic achievement but no significant correlation with gender. Learning engagement showed a positive correlation with gender and academic achievement. Second, gender moderated the effect of grit on academic achievement through learning engagement. In other words, the conditional indirect effect of grit on academic achievement through learning engagement was higher for men than for women. Based on these results, this study proposed ways to utilize grit and learning engagement differently according to gender to improve the academic achievement of high school students.

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the validity of the evaluation by adding the factor of academic achievement to the subject of evaluation, and to improve the reliability of the evaluation by verifying the legitimacy of control of in-class attitude and developing the correction index of satisfaction of teaching. The results of the study are as follows. Firstly, it was confirmed that the students' in-class attitude had a significant effect on satisfaction of teaching. The more positive the in-class attitude, the higher the satisfaction of teaching, and vice versa. Secondly, it was confirmed that the students' in-class attitude had a significant effect on academic achievement. The more positive the in-class attitude, the higher the academic achievement, and vice versa. Thirdly, it was confirmed that satisfaction of teaching did not have a significant effect on academic achievement. High satisfaction of teaching does not mean that the quality of the teaching is high, and vice versa. Fourthly, the correction index of satisfaction of teaching was developed to correct the results of satisfaction of teaching that may be distorted due to the students' negative in-class attitude. In conclusion, academic achievement should be added as the subject of evaluation in addition to the satisfaction of teaching to improve the validity of evaluation and the correction index of satisfaction of teaching should be applied to improve the reliability of evaluation.

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the impact of motivation on academic achievement and satisfaction of adult learners in an e-Learning environment, and to come up with strategies to improve the effectiveness of e-Learning for adult learners. In order to find answer, devices were developed, tested for validity and reliability, and use for testing variables for 289 adult learners. To measure the impact of achievement motivation on learning in job training, a multiple regression analysis was performed. The analysis results show that achievement motivation has an impact on academic achievement with significance level .001, but does not have an impact on a learner's satisfaction. Further analyses on the subcategories of achievement motivation show that individual-oriented motivation affects achievement with significance level of .001, while social-oriented motivation does not. From this finding, some strategies to boost individual-oriented motivation are suggested to enhance effectiveness of job training in e-Learning environment. Further strategies to boost individual-oriented motivation should be developed by studying various aspects of e-Learning such as learning environments, learning culture, learning modes and methods, and evaluation.

The questionnaires were divided into 5 variables : NCS education understanding, quality of education service, necessity of vocational education, academic achievement, job satisfaction. We used SPSS WIN 18.0, to examine the importance, reliability, validity, and association analysis using questionnaires. The results showed that the quality of education service and the necessity of vocational education were influenced on academic achievement in independent variables. But understanding of NCS education was not adopted. In the parameters and dependent variables, academic achievement was found to affect job satisfaction. So if educational institutions are to pay attention to and improve the quality of vocational education service and the need for vocational education, academic achievement will increase. Academic achievement is expected to positively affect job satisfaction after employment.
