  • The current paper deals with a new live-line insulator inspection tool system that will be used by the Korea Electric Power Corporation for its 154 kV power transmission lines in 2011. Unlike the existing contact type tools, the developed inspection tool automates parts of the insulator inspection process using a sensor and an actuator. The tool sustains its weight independently, not by a lineman. In addition, the inspection tool measures the insulation resistance of an insulator together with its distribution voltage, thus providing more information for analysis and diagnosis. Such characteristics improve the system's operation efficiency, measurement reliability, and usability. We confirmed its effectiveness through live-line field tests with actual power transmission lines.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a measurement tool quantifying the degree of high school students' scientific experience. Based on previous studies, we divided the factors that compose school scientific experience into three categories: general activity experience, scientific inquiry experience and laboratory apparatus experience. While, outside of school scientific experience was divided into general activity experience, interesting activity experience and field trip experience. Items consisting each factor were selected from scientific experience measurement tools used in previous researches, most frequent answers showed in open questionnaire about scientific experiences, and exploratory analysis of textbooks. After the measurement tool developed by pilot-questionnaires and previous researches were preliminary tested and then was secondarily tested for a group of 413 high school students. The content validity and construct validity of the measurement tool was evaluated by two school teachers and two experts in science education and by factor analysis, respectively. The reliability of the tool was estimated with Cronbach Alpha. The results of validity and reliability revealed that the tool was appropriate for measuring scientific experience.

  • Recently, as the importance of experience data increases, there are many attempts to deal with experience data from a data science perspective. In the case of approaching as a collection method of a quantitative survey method that seeks to quantify numerically such as big data, it is difficult to interpret the value of experience in a wide range, and it is relatively expensive and time consuming, and personal information infringement There is a limit to the analysis due to the risk of However, since ethnography, a procedure for collecting experience data based on qualitative research, is mainly carried out in the natural real environment of future customers from the perspective of users, it is possible to confirm the nature that customers face with a small sample. In addition, it is also easy to interpret the relational dimension of the empirical data. Although the ethnography method of collecting experiential data is economical and efficient, it is important to reduce errors in the collection process because the lack of scientific procedures for the data collection process can be a problem. It is important to secure the validity of whether the correct measurement tool is used for ethnography-based experiential data collection and to secure the reliability of the use of a valid measurement tool and method by accurately selecting the measurement target. From this point of view, it is necessary to verify the reliability of the research method that clearly selects the measurement target and secures the validity for the development of the correct measurement method and tool for the collection of ethnography experience data. Therefore, in this study, a verification study was conducted on the data and methodology cases of the'I know you_AI' service that analyzes the customer experience of self-employed based on the ethnography method of collecting experience data..

  • According as radiation therapy technique develops, standardization of radiation therapy has been complicated by the plan QA(Quality Assurance). However, plan QA tools are two type, OADT (opposite accumulation dose tool) and 3DADT (3 dimensional accumulation dose tool). OADT is not applied to evaluation of beam path. Therefore tolerance error of beam path will establish measurement value at OADT. Plan is six beam path, five irradiation field at each beam path. And beam path error is 0 degree, 0.2 degree, 0.4 degree, 0.6 degree, 0.6 degree, 0.8 degree. Plan QA accomplishes at OADT, 3DADT. The more path error increases, the more plan QA error increases. Tolerance error of OADT path is 0.357 using tolerance error of conventional plan QA. Henceforth plan QA using OADT will include beam path error. In addition, It will increase reliability through precise and various plan technique.

To achieve that, this study employed purposive sampling to draw 300 samples among private security guards working for the security firms registered in Seoul District Police Office as of 2014, and used 259 samples for final analysis. Fatigue scale was developed on the basis of the scale development methods and procedures in previous studies. For data processing, SPSSWIN 18.0 program was applied to conduct exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis, and AMOS 18.0 program was employed to conduct confirmatory factory analysis. This study came to the following conclusion. First, the validity of the fatigue measurement tool was high. In other words, content validity was high, and construct validity was also high. The factor loading of exploratory factor analysis was .452, and the standard value of confirmatory factor analysis was .403. Therefore, the tool satisfied the basis value of fit index. The sub categories of fatigue, finally drawn from validity test, were mental fatigue, nervous system dysfunction, physical deformity, and exhaustion. Secondly, the reliability of the fatigue measurement tool was high. In other words, according to item analysis, the correlation between items and their sub categories, and between items and total score was more than .602, relatively high. And the reliability coefficient (Cronbach's ${\alpha}$) was high, or more than .658. Fatigue Scale tool will be developed by private security guards in the present study is to measure the validity and reliability verification is clearly tired of the private security guards than the tools that are used in other studies in the existing area.

  • PURPOSE: To summarize the evaluation tools of balance [Berg Balance Scale (BBS), timed up and Go (TUG), forward reaching test (FRT)], gait [6 m walking Test (6MWT)], and strength [Chair Stand Test (CST)] for patients with dementia. METHODS: The following databases were searched: Pub MED, Cochrane, Sciences Direct, and Web of Sciences. The inclusion criteria were as follows: 1) repeated measurement design, 2) subjects with dementia, 3) use of testing tools such as the BBS, TUG, FRT, 6MWT, and CST, 4) report the reliability. One reviewer performed the quality assessment of diagnostic accuracy study and two evaluators performed data extraction independently. RESULTS: Six articles and one letter were included. The interrater reliability of 6MWT, TUG, and CST, were acceptable (ICC>.90). However, FRT had unacceptable reliability. In test-retest reliability, only BBS has acceptable reliability (ICC>.90). Others had various reliabilities. The risk of interrater reliability bias was low in all studies. However, the risk of bias of intrarater reliability was low in five studies and moderate in two studies. CONCLUSION: The interrater reliability of the 6MWT, TUG, and CST were acceptable. However, in test-retest reliability, only BBS has acceptable reliability. Therefore, we suggest the use of BBS to test the balance of dementia patients. In addition, the study of tool reliability according to the subtype of dementia is needed in the future.
