With the global adoption of the reduction policy on greenhouse gas and environmental pollution, that is 'low carbon green growth', the central and local governments strive to increase their investments in railways in an effort to replace fossil fuels, and seek the ways to diversify and vitalize the tourism resources taking full advantage of the railway systems. Seoul metro has therefore launched 'A research on the development of the Bukhan mountain railway' for the establishment of the environmentally friendly tourism belt making good use of Mt. Bukhan., the only national park in the Seoul metropolitan area, with its picturesque scenery. This paper pursues the basic directions for the application scope of the relevant laws and regulations for the development of the mountain railways as part of our continuing effort to further 'A study on the development of the Bukhan mountain railway' along with the review on the project implementation policy pursuant to the applicable laws on private investment for social infrastructures.

Today, citation index information is used as an outcome scale of spreading technology and encouraging research. Article citation information is an important factor to determine the authority of the relevant author. Google Scholar uses the article citation information to organize academic article search results with a rank algorithm. For an accurate analysis of such important citation index information, large amounts of bibliographic data are required. Therefore, this study aims to build a fast and efficient system for large amounts of bibliographic data, and to design and develop a system for quickly analyzing cited information for that data. This study also aims to use and analyze citation data to be a basic element for providing various advanced services to the academic article search system.

This study discusses the library professionals' perception of the ICT Applications in engineering college libraries in Tamil Nadu. The relevant data was collected from the library professionals in the self financing engineering colleges situated in Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu. 625 questionnaires were distributed, 504 replied with a response rate of 80.64%. It was found that the respondents with experience 'Below 5 years'gave 'Lack of infrastructure' as the first priority. 'Lack of interest on the part of users' and 'No support from administration in training library professionals' were the second and third preferences indicated by the respondents. The least preferences were given for 'Fear of ICT application'. Similarly, respondents with experience '6-10 years' indicated 'No support from administration in training library professionals' as the first priority. The least preference was given for 'Inadequate training in ICT applications' by the above respondents. It can be inferred that the professionals accepted and need the training in ICT applications.

This work proposes possible use of the hyperdocument as a companion for structural steel designers and also as a part of any expert system to be used for the design of steel structures. AISC Specification for Structural Steel Buildings - Allowable Stress Design and Plastic Design, June 1, 1989-has been thoroughly hyperdocumented. Database for the most of AISC standard sections has been built for easier reference to sectional properties and even for search for the relevant sections. Hardy and wxCLIPS from AIAI, The University of Edinburgh were used as development tools. Hardy is integrated with NASA's rule-based and object-oriented language CLIPS 6.0 to enable users to rapidly develop diagram-related applications. Currently this work does not include any sophisticated rule-bases. Rather, this work will form a part of the expert systems for the steel structural design to be developed later. Nevertheless, the hyperdocument of this work will make a good companion for structural steel designers in its own right.

Consumers facing a large number of brands to choose from are known to use simplified heuristic to screen a set of relevant brands called the consideration set from the whole alternatives, Purchase decisions are then made from the brands in the consideration set, Two approaches have been suggested to model the two-stage choice process., One is to treat the con-sideration set as a crisp set (e.g Roberts and Lattin 1991) The other is to treat the set as a fuzzy set (e.g. Fortheringham 1988) The paper empirically compares the two types of models using data for soft drinks sneakers and departments. The results show that a model employing the crisp set approach fits the data better than that with the fuzzy set approach and better than a single-stage choice logit model.

본 연구(硏究)는 불 정보 시스템의 단점을 보완하는 방법으로 퍼지 논리(論理)를 이용한 정보검색시스템을 설계하였다. 퍼지 정보검색 시스템은 질의어(質疑語)와 문헌들을 표현하는 각 용어(用語)들에 가중치(加重値)를 부여하고, 이것을 바탕으로 질의어에 대한 각 문헌들의 적합도(適合度)를 결정하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 연구들을 비교 분석한 후, 효과적인 모델을 제시하고 시스템 성능을 평가하였다.

As the delay of the Kyungbu High Speed Railroad, HST should use conventional line through Daegoo to Pusan until the new railroad build. High speed railroad noise is one of the main causes of environmental impact. Whenever HST on conventional railroad line is planned or HST service into the urban center is proposed, an estimate of the relevant noise levels is usually required. For this, it is necessary to quantify those parameters that affect the railroad noise. This paper deals with an estimation of high speed railroad noise in urban center.

The superconducting winding in rotor of a superconducting generator should be kept at extremely low temperature of 4-5 K to maintain the superconducting state. For this purpose the liquefied helium is used for the coolant and it is very important to analyze and design a cooling system making effective use of the coolant. In this paper, the typical heat exchanger of a superconducting generator with the flow passage is analyzed with regard to the thermal equilibrium. An experimental constant relevant to the flow condition in the flow passage is determined with heat exchange experiments in cryostat. Also a new heat exchanger with porous material is proposed and designed. Results of the numerical analysis for the temperature distributions for the torque tube and the coolant are reported and the efficiency of the heat exchanger is discussed from the viewpoint of amounts of coolant needed.

This paper describes a research result on automatic generation of abstract test cases from formal specifications by applying many related algorithms and techniques such as the testing framework, rural Chinese postman tour and unique input output sequence concepts. In addition, an efficient algorithm for verifying the strong connectivity of the reference finite state machine and the concept of unique event sequence are explained. We made use of several techniques to from an integrated framework for abstract test case generation from LOTOS and SDL specifications. A prototype of the proposed framework has been built with special attention to real protocol in order to generate the executable test cases in an automatic way. The abstract test cases in tree and tabular combined notation (TTCN) language will be applied to the TTCN compiler in order to obtain the executable test cases which re relevant to the industrial application.

Electronic methods are already used in money transfer and credit cards transactions and electronic money and checks, which can substitute cash and coins, are being discussed. Recently, the Acts of Electronic Draft have been enacted, in order to make the money in the market flow efficiently. Also electronic bill of lading has been adopted for the practical use of international shipments. However, despite of the effort from the academia and practice, investments to stocks, especially in the stock exchange, is not quite perfectly electronic. Japan enacted a relevant act in 2004 which make its stock market totally dematerialized. This writing summarizes some issues in interpretation that arise in the course of operation of the Stock Electronic Registration System at the present time of 6 months after it came into effect and its purpose, by doing so, is to prevent in advance the kind of problems in introducing the similar system to Korea.
