증발기의 압력강하에 대한 상대습도의 영향 (Effects of Relative Humidity on the Evaporator Pressure Drop)

  • It is well known that some key parameters, such as evaporating temperature, refrigerant mass flow rate, face velocity and inlet air temperature, have significant influence on the evaporator performance. However performance studies related to a humid environment have been very scarce. It is demonstrated that the refrigerant mass flow rate, heat flux, water condensing rate and air outlet temperature of the evaporator significantly increase with air inlet relative humidity. As the air inlet relative humidity increases, the latent and total heat transfer rates increase, but the sensible heat transfer rate decreases. The purpose of this study is to provide experimental data on the effect of air inlet relative humidity on the air and refrigerant side pressure drop characteristics for a slit fin-tube heat exchanger. Experiments were carried out under the conditions of inlet refrigerant saturation temperature of 7 $^{\circ}C$ and mass flux varied from 150 to 250 kg/$m^2$s. The condition of air was dry bulb temperature of 27$^{\circ}C$, air Velocity Varied from 0.38 to 1.6 m/s. Experiments Showed that air Velocity decreased 8.7% on 50% of relative humidity 40% of that at degree of superheat of 5$^{\circ}C$, which resulted that pressure drop of air and refrigerant was decreased 20.8 and 8.3% for 50% of relative humidity as compared to 40%, respectively.

  • The effect of pH on the corrosion characteristics in the dissimilar friction welded zone of IN713LC-SCM440 in the loaded torsional stress was studied. The corrosion experiment was performed for 120 hours on the specimens with five steps of pH. The surface corrosion pattern of the SCM440 area showed global corrosion and narrow pitting, which was caused by galvanic corrosion between friction welded IN713LC and SCM440, but corrosion did not proceeded from the IN713LC area. The average relative electrode potential gradually tends to decrease with the elapse of the immersion time in the acidity area. The average corrosion current also gradually tend to decrease The corrosion rate showed a larger value when the average relative electrode potential was higher and the average relative current was lower. The corrosion rate showed a larger value when the average relative electrode potential was higher in the acidity area, and it showed large when the average relative electrode potential was lower in the alkalinity area.

감마선에 조사된 생쥐에 있어서 방사선방어효과 평가를 위한 생물학적 파라메타 (Biological Parameters for Assessing Radioprotective Effects in ${\gamma}-irradiated$ Mice)

  • This study deals with the biological changes in mice after ${\gamma}-irradiated$. Four weeks old BALA/c mice were irradiated with 6.5Gy of ${\gamma}-ray$ on the fifth day after oral administration of radioprotectants such as ascorbic acid, tocopherol and cysteine. Control group was irradiated with 6.5Gy without pre-administration of radioprotectors. Blood cells and sperm cells were counted and body, testis and spleen were weighed 3 days after irradiation. And also liver antioxidant activity and range of spleen immune cells were measured. Differences in most biological parameters were not clearly distinguished between experimental groups. However, the relative spleen weight, the relative testis weight and the population size of spleen immune cells such as T helper cells, B cells and macrophages measured by means of FACS showed significant difference between irradiated and radioprotectant administered group. It is concluded that the relative spleen weight, the relative testis weight and the population size of spleen immune cells are easy and useful parameters for assessing the effect of radioprotective substances and for quantifying biological damage of radiation, as well.

고결모래의 콘선단저항에 대한 영향요인 분석 (Analysis of Influencing Factors on the cone resistance in Cemented Sand)

  • A series of cone penetration tests in large calibration chamber were performed to investigate the effect of cementation level, relative density and vertical confining stress on cone resistance. From the experimental results, it was observed that the cone resistance is increased with increasing gypsum content, relative density, and confining stress. The increasing ratio on cone resistance of cemented sand compared with that of uncemented sand, that is IR($q_c$), was increased with increasing gypsum content and relative density, whereas it was decreased as the vertical confining stress increases. It was also observed that the cementation of granular soil influences the behavior of ground at low level of confining stress and its effect is diminished with depth.

수림의 계층구조가 녹지내의 기온 및 습도에 미치는 영향 (Forest Stratification Effect of Air Temperature and Humidity in the Green Space)

  • 본 연구는 토지피복현황과 수림의 계층구조 등이 다양한 도시녹지를 대상으로 기온 및 급도에 미치는 영향물 점성 빛 정량적으로 파악하기 위해 녹지내의 기온 및 습도를 관측하였다. 그 데이터클 바탕으로 녹지내의 토지피복현황과 기온 및 습도분포, 녹지내의 수목그루와 녹적량및 습도와의 관련성을 회귀분석 둥에 의해 해석 하였다. 그 결과, 고온역은 인공구조물과 나지 주변에서, 저온역은 수림지와 수면 주변에서 형성되었다. 습도는 기온분포에 거의 대응하는 형태로 고온역이 저습역이고, 저온역이 고습역으로 나타났다. 또한, 수림의 계층구조가 2,3층으로 덮여 있는 구역과 수면을 핵으로 그 주변은 수림으로 둘러싸인 구역이 상대적으로 높은 습도를 나타냈다. 수루그루 빛 녹적량의 증가는 어떤 수고라도 습도의 상승에 효과적이고 그 효율은 교목, 소교목, 관루의 순이다.

  • Clothing consumption expenditure (UX) data of Korean consumers during the period of 1965 to 1993 were analyzed by time series analysis technique. According to the results of regression analysis, current income and UX of the year before showed most significant influences on the current UX. This means that the absolute and permanent income hypotheses can be accepted in case of clothing expenditures. However the effect of income decreased as the economy developed. The relative price of clothing had weak or no influence on clothing expenditures. It was also found out that CSX of the year before, the change of income, relative price of clothing ware the factors that affected clothing expenditures. From the estimation of Houthakker-Taylor state adjustment model, a negative stock coefficient was obtained. That is, clothing is subject to an inventor effect and Korean consumers regard clothing as one of the durable goods. To define whether clothing is a "luxury" or a "necessity", income and relative price elasticity of clothing expenditures were estimated. Income elasticity of clothing is slightly below 1.0 in case of national aggregate expenditures, and slightly above 1.0 in case of urban consumers' expenditures. Income elasticity has declined over time. Meanwhile the coefficient of price elasticity is not significant, indicating that the relative price of clothing have little connection with clothing expenditure.lothing expenditure.

고결모래의 콘선단저항과 미소변형전단탄성계수 관계 (Relationship between Cone Tip Resistance and Small-Strain Shear Modulus of Cemented Sand)

  • This study evaluates the relationship between cone tip resistance ($q_c$) and small-strain shear modulus ($G_{max}$) of cemented sand. For this purpose, a series of miniature cone penetration and bender element tests are performed in calibration chamber specimens with various gypsum contents. Experimental results show that both $q_c$ and $G_{max}$ of sand increase with increasing cementation level as well as relative density and vertical confining stress. However, the relative density and vertical confining stress has more significant influence on $G_{max}$ and $q_c$ of uncemented sand than those of cemented sand. It is observed that the $G_{max}/q_c$ ratio of cemented sand decreases with increasing relative density. This result means that state variables have more affect on $q_c$ than $G_{max}$ of cemented sand. Test results also show that the effect of vertical stress on $G_{max}-q_c$ relation is reduced by cementation effect.

모래의 인장강도에 미치는 함수비의 영향 (Effect of Moisture on Tensile Strength in Sand)

  • 0.5% ~ 4.0%의 함수비를 가진 습윤모래의 인장강도 변화를 조사하기 위하여 개발된 인장 시험기를 이용한 일련의 실험을 수행하였다. 이러한 실험을 통하여 함수비, 상대밀도, 세립자 함유량 및 Precompression수준에 따라 모래의 인장강도는 변화하는 것으로 조사되었다. 함수비와 세립자 함유량이 증가함에 따라 인장강도는 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 상대밀도가 증가함에 따라 인장강도의 증가 경향은 더욱 분명하게 나타났다. 그러나, 인장강도에 대한 상대밀도와 세립자의 효과는 실질적으로는 함수비에 따라 결정됨을 알 수 있었다. 낮은 함수비(w < 0.5%) 에서 모래의 인장강도에 미치는 상대밀도와 세립자의 영향은 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 인장강도에 미치는 Precompression 효과도 실질적으로는 함수비에 의해 결정되며, Precompression의 크기와 기간의 영향은 상대적으로 적게 나타났다.

프로펠러 팬과 덕트와의 상대위치가 유동특성에 미치는 영향 (The effect of position of propeller fan relative to duct inlet on flow characteristics)

  • The position of propeller fan from duct inlet is one of basic parameters for the design of propeller fan. To investigate the effect of its position on fan characteristics, the inlet flow fields and relative flow angles were measured by a 5-hole pitot tube. The experimental results indicate that the ratio of radial flow introduced from propeller circumference to total inlet flow increases with the increase of propeller distance from duct inlet. When fan operates without duct, the total flow rate and the radial flow ratio are higher than those of any other positions of propeller relative to duct inlet. The radial flow ratio decreases as a flow coefficient and the propeller distance decrease. Therefore the front flow fields can be adjusted in some extent by varying the propeller distance according to a fan loading. The inlet flow angles are decreasing a little as a rotational speed and the propeller distance decrease. In the present case it was judged that the deviation angle of outlet flow became negative owing to a flow separation near a trailing edge.

Electronic Information Resources (EIR) Adoption in Private University Libraries: The Moderating Effect of Productivity and Relative Advantage on Perceived Usefulness

  • The study tested a hybrid model with constructs drawn from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) theory in order to examine the moderating effect of productivity and relative advantage (RA) on perceived usefulness (PU) vis-à-vis electronic information resources (EIR) adoption in private university libraries in Ogun and Osun States of Nigeria. The descriptive research design was adopted in the study. The population consisted of 61 (55.0%) librarians and 50 (45.0%) library officers (totaling 116—100%) in Babcock University, Bells University, Covenant University, Bowen University, Oduduwa University, and Redeemer's University. Purposive sampling procedure was adopted after which total enumeration was used since the total population is small. The questionnaire was used for data collection. Of the 116 copies of the questionnaire administered, 111 (95.7%) were found usable. The instrument was structured based on a 4-point Likert agreement scale of Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics like tables of frequency counts and percentage. The findings revealed that productivity and relative advantage are significant moderators of perceived usefulness of EIR adoption in private university libraries in Ogun and Osun States, Nigeria.
