준설 실트질 점토를 이용한 경량기포혼합토의 압축강도 특성 (Compressive Strength Characteristics of Light-weight Air Foamed Soil Using Dredged Silty Soils)

  • 본 연구에서는 실트질 점토와 동물성 기포제 및 시멘트로 제작한 경량기포혼합토의 공학적 특성을 고찰하는 시험을 수행하였다. 현장의 경량기포혼합토는 도로를 위한 연약지반상 성토 및 기존도로의 확장 구간에 성토재료로 사용되어 왔다. 현장에서는 주로 제작 직후의 단위중량과 흐름치를 측정하여 품질관리를 하고 있으며, 실내 시험을 통해 압축강도시험으로 확인한다. 본 연구의 주목적은 경량혼합토의 다른 특성과 흐름치 관계와 더불어 흐름치로부터 시방서에서 요구하는 압축강도를 예측하고자 하는 것이 주요 목적이다. 연구 결과, 준설토의 함수비가 클수록 높은 유동성으로 인해 흐름치가 증가하였고 재료분리로 인해 타설 깊이에 따른 단위중량이 증가하였다. 60cm의 시료 하부는 상부에 비하여 약 2배의 압축강도를 나타내었다. 현장에서의 품질관리는 주로 흐름치에 의존하게 되므로 흐름치와 혼합토의 압축강도를 선행적으로 예측할 수 있도록 Yoon & Kim(2004)이 제시한 정규화계수와의 상관관계를 제시함으로써 흐름치로부터 압축강도를 예측할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한, 흐름치와 정규화계수와의 관계를 제시하였으며 이관계로부터 정규화계수를 산정하고, 이로부터 계산한 압축강도와 실내시험 압축강도를 비교한 결과, 준설토의 초기함수비가 높을수록 유사한 관계가 나타났다. 따라서, 흐름치와 정규화계수의 상관관계를 통해 압축강도를 사전에 예측하여 설계 단계에서 반영할 필요성이 있다고 판단된다.

OJT 특성요인과 OJT 성과 간 관계에서 훈련자-피훈련자 관계강도 조절효과 분석: 국내 여행서비스업 초기 경력자를 대상으로 (OJT Characteristics and OJT Outcomes in a Domestic Travel Industry: Moderating Effect of Tie Strength)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to substantiate the relationship between on-the-job training (OJT) characteristic factors and OJT outcomes and the moderating effect of the tie strength between a trainer and a trainee on the relationship. OJT characteristic factors were composed of a unit of work to be learned, trainee's motivation, trainer's ability, OJT design, and OJT support. OJT outcomes included job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the research. The tie strength means a sense of intimacy with a trainer. All of the OJT characteristic factors, OJT outcomes, and the tie strength were defined operationally as the perceived ones by a trainee. Research design, data, and methodology - This study analyzed the data of 302 employees in a domestic travel agency as early career for seven years or less. The main methods for the analysis were multiple linear regression analysis and moderating effect analysis. The whole process of the data analysis was conducted using the SPSS 21.0 for windows. Results - The results of the study are as follows: First, every five element of OJT, including unit of work to be learned, trainee's motivation, trainer's ability, OJT design, and OJT support, showed positive influence on OJT outcomes - job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Second, the tie strength between a trainer and a trainee was positively related with OJT outcomes. Finally, the strength of ties between the trainer and the trainee was found positively to moderate the relationship of a unit of work to be learned, OJT design, or OJT support, with OJT outcomes. However, the moderating effect of the tie strength was not significant statistically between the trainee's motivation or the trainer's ability, and OJT outcomes. Conclusion - In the study, it was demonstrated that every OJT characteristic factors have a positive contribution to job satisfaction and organizational commitment for early career employees. In addition, the study showed the need to pay attention to improve the quality of relationships between trainers and trainees, in order to increase the impact of a unit of work to be learned, OJT design, and OJT support. These findings suggest the implications in the three factors as external factors that constitute OJT. The three factors are made by HRD practitioners who are involved in design and operation of the program as well as their interventions to improve the quality of the relationship between trainers and trainees. On the other hand, it was demonstrated in the research that trainee's motivation and trainer's ability, regardless of their tie strength, have a direct impact on OJT outcomes by itself. Moreover, the trainee's motivation and trainer's ability are intrinsic characteristics, rather than external factors that constitute OJT. Therefore, they are unlikely to be changed by HRD practitioners' interventions. In conclusion, it was argued in the research that the trainee's motivation and trainer's ability should be a consideration in selecting and matching partners in OJT participants before starting OJT.

포장용 롤러전압콘크리트의 다짐도와 압축강도의 상관관계 분석 (Analysis of Relationship Between Compressive Strength and Compaction Ratio of Roller-Compacted Concrete Pavement)

  • 롤러전압콘크리트포장 공법은 기존 시멘트 콘크리트 공법의 재료 특성 및 아스팔트 포장의 시공특성을 공유하는 포장 방식이다. 일반 시멘트 콘크리트 포장의 우수한 구조적 성능을 유지하면서, 아스팔트 시공 장비를 사용하여 간소한 시공절차로 경제성을 확보할 수 있다. 롤러전압콘크리트포장 공법은 수화반응과 롤러다짐에 의한 골재 맞물림 효과로 일반 시멘트 콘크리트 포장보다 적은 시멘트량을 사용하여도 충분한 강도를 발현할 수 있다. 또한 일반 시멘트 콘크리트 포장과 동등한 강도 특성을 발휘 할 수 있으며, 본 연구에서는 RCCP의 다짐도와 압축강도의 관계를 정량적으로 도출하고자 한다. 롤러전압콘크리트의 다짐에너지를 변화시키면서 다양한 다짐도를 갖는 시편을 제작하였다. 다짐도는 시편의 건조단위중량과 최대건조단위중량의 비로 정의하였으며, 다양한 다짐도로 성형된 시편의 28일 압축강도를 평가하였고, 다짐도에 따른 강도비의 관계를 도출 하였다. 따라서 롤러전압콘크리트 공법의 국내 현장적용을 위한 다짐도에 따른 강도비의 중요성을 부각하여 현장 다짐도 관리에 적용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • The mechanical properties of concrete such as modulus of elasticity, bond strength and shear strength are proportional to square root of compressive strength. And compressive strength of concrete is developed rapidly at early ages. Thus the relationship between compressive strength and its mechanical properties should be verified because the mechanical properties of early age concrete and hardened concrete are different. In this study, to predict the concrete slab deflection at early ages, modulus of elasticity and effective moment of inertia(Ie) are observed and compared with experimental results.

  • The Tunnel Form(T/F) system instead of traditional euro form has been tried to reduce construction duration and to improve concrete quality in reinforced concrete wall type apartment construction. To find the relationship for concrete compressive strength between cylinder mold and slab, the different curing locations of concrete cylinder mold in the room have been investigated. The test results showed that the compressive strength of the cylinder concrete with middle-upper location in the room was most near concrete compression strength with respect to slab concrete strength.

  • Many researchers have rigorously studied the nonlinear behavior of stress-strain relationship of concrete using mathematical curves. Most of model equations for stress-strain relationship, however, have been focused on old age concrete, and were not able to adequately represent the behavior of concrete at an early age. A wide understanding on the behavior of concrete from early age to old age is very important in evaluating the durability and service life of concrete structures. In previous study by authors of this paper, a stress-strain model equation for low- and medium-strength concretes was suggested. In this paper, to extend the application region of compressive stress-strain curve to high-strength concrete, an analytical research was performed. An analytical expression of stress-strain curve with strength and age was developed using regression analyses on the experimental results. For the verification of the proposed model equation, it was compared to the experimental data. The result showed that the proposed model equation was not only compatible with the experimental data quite satisfactorily but also describing well the effect of strength and age on stress-strain curve.

경량기포혼합토의 압축 및 강도특성 연구 (Compressibility and Strength Characteristics of Light-weighted Foam Soil)

  • 본 논문에서는 경량기포혼합토의 압축성과 강도 특성에 대해 실험을 통하여 연구하였다. 경량기포혼합토는 재료의 경량화와 압축강도의 증가를 위해 해양준설토에 시멘트와 기포로 구성되어 있다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 초기 함수비, 시멘트 함유율, 실트질 준설토의 혼합을, 구속압조건 등의 다양한 조건에서 준비된 공시체로 일축압축시험 및 삼축압축시험을 수행하였다. 경량기포혼합토의 실험결과, 응력-변형거동과 압축강도는 준설토의 초기 함수비보다 시멘트 함유율에 더 큰 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 본 연구에서는 초기 함수비, 시멘트 함유율, 기포 함유율을 고려한 정규화계수를 제시하였으며 경량기포혼합토의 압축강도와 정규화 계수와의 유용한 관계를 얻을 수 있었다.

참나무 아속(亞屬) 주요 수종의 조직적 성질과 종압축강도와의 관계 (The Relationship between Anatomical Characteristics and Compression Strength Parallel to Grain in Major Species of Lepidobalanus)

  • This study was carried out to get some basic information on mechanical properties of Korea Lepidobalanus for rational utilization of wood. Five species of Quercus variabilis, Q. aliena, Q. serrata, Q. mongolica, Q. acutissima belong to Lepidobalanus were investigated in this research. Relationship of anatomical characteristics to compression strength parallel to grain was analyzed using stepwise regression technique. All possible combination of 21 independent variables were regressed on compression strength parallel to grain. The summarized results in this study were as follows: I. In the proportion of wood structural elements, the factors that had the greatest influence on compression strength parallel to grain appeared to be proportion of ray in earlywood in Q. variabilis and Q. acutissima, proportion of wood fiber in latewood in Q. aliena and Q. serrata and proportion of vessel in earlywood in Q. mongolica respectively. 2. In the size of wood element and its structure, the factors that had the greatest influence on compression strength parallel to grain were microfibril angle in Q. variabilis, Q. serrata and Q. mongolica and length of wood fiber in Q. aliena and Q. acutissima.

고강도 콘크리트의 염화물 침투특성 (Chloride Permeability of High Strength Concrete)

  • Chloride permeability of high strength concrete(HSC) was investigated using saltwater pending test and rapid chloride permeability test by electrical potential(ASTM C 1202). The lower water-cement ratio concrete showed the lower diffusion coefficient of chloride. The relationship between the diffusion coefficient of chloride and charge passed by the rapid chloride permeability test could be obtained. This relationship appears to be an effective method for evaluating chloride permeability of low water-cement HSC.
