직무특성이 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Impact of Job Characteristics on Empowerment)

  • 본 연구는 임파워먼트에 대한 이론을 통하여 조직구성원들을 좀 더 효과적으로 임파원먼트시키기 위해서이다. 또한 조직구성원들이 고려해야 하는 변수인 직무특성과 임파워먼트와 어떠한 영향관계가 있는지를 알아보고, 한국 사회에서의 기업내 구성원들을 한층 더 높은 자율성을 제공하고자 한다. 결과적으로 직무특성과 임파워먼트는 유의미한 영향관계(+)와 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 조직 구성원들을 임파워먼트시키는 구체적인 과정과 기법에 대한 연구, 임파워먼트시키는데 알맞는 조직문화적 특성을 파악하는 연구, 그리고 여러 분야에 실질적으로 적용해 보는 연구가 이루어지리라 생각한다.

외조모의 손자녀 양육지원에 관한 탐색적 연구: 외조모와 어머니의 보고 중심으로 (An Exploratory Study on Child Rearing Grandmothers: Based on the Interview of Grandmothers and Mothers)

  • Objective: The purpose this study is to explore the relationship between grandmothers and mothers when grandmothers take care of their grandchildren, and to understand the particular meaning of it. Methods: The Participants were 5 grandmothers who have supported or have experience in caring for their grandchildren, and their daughters(5 working mothers) who have entrusted their children to them. In-depth interviews were conducted and analysed by the phenomenological qualitative research method. Results: Seventeen sub-constructs and 5 constructs resulted in: (1) Motivation of grandmothers and mothers for taking care of grandchildren. (2) Pressure of grandmothers and satisfaction of mothers for the support. (3) Grandmothers stepping back and saying 'Not my child' and mothers saying 'It's my child' and thinking their influence is big. (4) Consistent sacrifice of grandmothers and mothers who cannot do the same. (5) Grandmothers feeling empty after caring for their grandchildren and mothers realizing their efforts. Conclusion/Implications: This study attempted to understand the relationship between grandmothers and mothers when grandmothers take care of their grandchildren from multi-perspectives. Through the findings, the need for developing healthy relationships and a caring environment for grandmothers and their grandchildren is stressed.

노인의 자원봉사활동 만족도와 삶의 의미 (Relationship between Satisfaction of Volunteering and Meaning in Life of the Elderly - based on Hospital Voluntary Activity -)

  • Purpose: This study was attempted to investigate the relationship between the satisfaction of volunteering and the meaning in life of the elderly. Method: The subjects were 176 who had been volunteering in 7 general hospitals. in a metropolitan city, Korea. The data were gathered throughout August 2004. For measuring the satisfaction of volunteering, Kwon(1999) was modified and used, and for the meaning in life, Choi et al.(2003) was used. Result: Mean of the volunteering satisfaction was 3.00(Maximum, 4.00) and the highest domain was Social Contact and the lowest was Social Exchange. Mean of meaning in life was 3.02 (Maximum, 4.00) and the highest score was Family love and the lowest was Self Awareness & Self-Acceptance. Volunteering satisfaction was significantly different in age, religion, number of children and voluntary service time, and the meaning in life was different in religion, number of children, subjective health condition, subjective family relationship, and voluntary service time. Conclusion: There was positive correlation between volunteering satisfaction and meaning in life (r=.69 p=.000). According to the result, the satisfaction of volunteering could be make better meaning in life of the elderly. In order to increase the meaning in life and to improve volunteering satisfaction of the elderly, various social and personal efforts to participate in social service are would be adopted.

특허정보를 활용한 산업융합성 평가 방법론 : 기술연관분석 (A Methodology to Evaluate Industry Convergence Using the Patent Information : Technology Relationship analysis)

  • As the convergence among technologies is reorganizing industry sectors, it is quite important to evaluate the probability of technological convergence, and to analyze how the technologies in a certain industry sector affect the same or other industry sectors. As a result, the large number of studies have been focused on the industry convergence. However, most of them have dealt mainly with case studies or strategy and policies and few efforts have been made to study it using quantitative data. The investigation of industry convergence using quantitative data will help understand the characteristics of industry and forecast the future of the industry from an objective point of view. Therefore, this research proposes a methodology to evaluate the possibilities of industry convergence using patent data. In particular, we emphasize the possibilities of technology convergence and suggest a technology relationship matrix to evaluate the technology convergence, as an antecedent of industry convergence. The feasibility and utility of the suggested methodology was verified with a case study on the convergence of IT and BT. The research results are expected to provide a useful guideline for developing a measure of convergence.

Market Structure, Conduct, and Performance of the Creative Industry in Indonesia

  • The study's objective is to ascertain the state of the creative industry's market structure, the behavior of entrepreneurs ("conduct"), and the performance of the creative industry in Indonesia. Additionally, this study evaluates the relationship between structure, conduct, and performance within the context of the relationship between the three. This study analyzes longitudinal data from 2005 to 2015 for sub-sectors within the creative industry. The first step is to group statistical sub-sectors into creative-industry categories. The next step is to quantify and analyze the structure, behavior, and performance indicators of each creative industry subsector. Then, using a random effect panel data model, the relationship between structure and performance was estimated and examined. The findings of this study suggest that market share and concentration ratio calculations indicate that the creative industry in Indonesia has a monopolistic market structure. With this market framework, the creative industry's conduct can have an effect on prices. This is undoubtedly consistent with the features of the creative industry, which emphasize innovation as a means of adding value. The panel data estimation findings suggest the need for long-term efforts to maintain a market framework that enables businesses to compete fairly, innovate, and bring value.

The Relationship Between Non-Interest Revenue and Sustainable Growth Rate: A Case Study of Commercial Banks in Jordan

  • As expansion of interest income business faces several limitations, non-interest revenue can play a vital role in increasing the net profit margin and the productivity of the assets to sustain the growth rate. This study aims to analyze the Effect level (partial or total) of a bank's size on the relationship between non-interest revenue and the sustainable growth rate of Jordanian commercial banks. Baron and Kenny's methodology (1986) was adopted to test and analyze the effect of non-interest revenue: including the bank's size, on the sustainable growth rate during the period from 2008-2019. Data collection was done for thirteen commercial banks which constituted 100% of the study population. Testing four hypotheses by using Amos program and a regression model to diagnose the partial and total effect of size. Findings indicate that there is a nonlinear relationship between Non-IR and SGR due to the total effect of bank size on the sustainable growth rate. The results of this study is expected to enable the banks to diversify their revenue to support financial performance towards healthy growth without facing additional financial problems. This study adopted a different methodology from the prior efforts, by using the mediation effect role to verify the effect of non-interest revenue.

국내산 친환경농산물 만족도와 수입산 유기농산물 구입의향 관계 분석 (An Analysis of Relationship between the Level of Satisfaction of Domestic Products and Purchase Intention of Imported Organic Products)

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between the level of satisfaction of domestic Environment-friendly agricultural products and purchase intent of imported organic products. To accomplish the objective of the study a consumer survey was administered for quantitative analysis regarding consumption patterns. The bivariate probit with sample selection model was employed for empirical analysis on the relationship. The estimation results showed that to increase continuously the consumption, it is necessary to improve the quality satisfaction compared to the price, and that it is also necessary to increase the reliability of the certification system and the awareness that the consumption is helpful for health promotion to increase the quality satisfaction compared to price. In addition, it was concluded that in order to induce the purchase of domestic organic products rather than imported organic products, efforts to improve the safety of domestic products, remove the risk of residual pesticides, and increase the reliability of domestic products compared to imported products are needed. Therefore, to reduce the proportion of purchases of imported organic products and increase the consumption of domestic products, raising awareness that the consumption is conducive to health promotion, enhancing the safety of domestic products, and providing accurate information on the safety of imported products are required.

치과조직문화와 치과위생사의 전문직정체성이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Organizational Culture of Dental Office and Professional Identity of Dental Hygienists on Organizational Commitment)

  • 본 연구는 조직문화유형, 치과위생사의 전문직정체성, 조직몰입 세 변인 간의 관계를 파악하고, 치과위생사의 조직몰입 수준에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해 수행되었다. 치과 병 의원에 근무하는 310명의 치과위생사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 치과위생사가 인지하는 치과조직문화는 위계지향문화(3.39점)가 가장 높았으며, 업무지향문화(2.71점)가 가장 낮았다. 조직문화 중 혁신지향문화는 치과병원에 근무하는 경우와 3인 이상의 치과의사와 근무하는 경우에 치과의원에서 근무하는 경우나 1인 치과의사와 근무하는 경우보다 높았고, 전문학사인 경우보다 학사 이상인 경우에, 미혼자보다 기혼자가, 일반 치과위생사보다 실장급 치과위생사가 혁신지향문화를 더 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다(p<0.05). 관계지향문화는 1인 치과의사와 근무하는 경우(3.35점)와 실장급 치과위생사(3.43점)가 3인 이상의 치과의사와 근무하는 경우나 일반 치과위생사보다 높게 인식하고 있었다(p<0.05). 업무지향문화는 3인 이상의 치과의사와 근무하는 경우가 1인 치과의사와 근무하는 경우보다 유의하게 높았고, 치과병원에서 근무하는 경우가 치과의원에서 근무하는 경우보다 높게 나타났다(p<0.001). 조직몰입에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수로는 관계지향문화(p<0.001)와 혁신지향문화(p=0.006)로 나타났다. 치과 내에 관계지향문화와 혁신지향문화의 형성을 유도하는 반면 위계지향문화를 감소시키는 것이 치과위생사의 조직몰입과 전문직정체성을 높이기 위한 전략이 될 수 있음을 시사한다.

  • In the 21st century the size of sales of food service business in Korea will be 30 trillion won which means Food service business in Koreas is a mega market, but it is only quantitative growth and might face the limit of growth. At the same time it is predicted that from the academic world Food service business will develop endlessly after IMF condition. Of course I hope so as a member of national. Al though I propose that quantitative side is important, qualitative side must not be disregarded the present and future customer is needs should be met because the 1st goal of company is to achieve a management goal and pursuit profit. The present situation requires a peculiar and specific strategy of its own which can not be followed by competing hotels so that value can be created and buying intention can be occurred after buying. Until now the goal of marketing campaign has been transacted marketing just for closing a transaction, but it must be related marketing which is seeking mutual interests of customer and company. The strategies to attain these goals are : 1) to change from products and service management-focused to customer management and relationship building-focused. 2) to establish a core strategy which needs to be changed from market occupancy of volume expansion to customer occupancy. 3) to change from one-way communication to two-way communication. 4) to change from large scale marketing by company dimension to small scale marketing by sections. If companies focus on core benefit and augmented service to be sought by customers and make every efforts to create a value customer occupancy will increase automatically, the reduction of marketing cost will be followed, and marketing efforts will be much more efficient. In introducing a new product it is still easier to diffuse through the existing customers, and also important market information can be obtained from customers using this close relationship. If this close relationship maintains well customers will say even a trivial inconvenience and complaint and propose an idea of new product. Kotler divides relationship marketing into 5 stages such as Basic, Reactive, Accountable, Proactive, and Partnership. From the 1st stage to the last stage customer management is absolutely important and also in management strategy. The last stage, Partnership can come into the stage which is actively participated in service development and problem solving by customers. so more loyal customers have more successful performance the company attain.

The Relationship between Network Marketing Organization and the Related Industry Sustainability in Indonesia

  • Network marketing in Indonesia, especially in a time of crisis, is massively rising and has become a popular opportunity among other industries. Network marketing organizations, consists of partnership and trust, a community of connections and contact between individuals. This article has tried to examine the potential strategy to mitigate low trust in network marketing organizations specifically in the Indonesia market, where no studies on the subject has been done before. In doing this research assignment employed a secondary research methodology by reviewing previous academic literatures, by exploration and evaluation. For the purpose, 6 main articles and 25 relevant supporting articles were selected, there is an interesting and prominent research in an effort to repair trust in the perspective of the organization's efforts to build trust and control trust framework in strategy trust repair. The result of this analysis showed that the application of trust-building activities studies reveals how trust-building behavior is related to controls and how the efforts towards fostering subordinate cooperation are motivated by different types of controls and display of trustworthiness. It can be concluded that by implementing this trust repair model consistently and with a full commitment, it can gradually restore people's trust in the network marketing industry, sustain industry existence and exalted purpose of this industry can be achieved.
