This study analyzes medical clothing trends and provides future directions for research. Based on 38 patents in Korea and 221 patents in the USA, the contents of patents were analyzed by year, subject, clothing type, and specific content. The results are as follows. The number of patent applications in Korea and the USA was found to be increasing. The distribution by subject was in the order of patient clothing, medical personnel clothing, and materials for medical clothing. Clothing of various types such as upper garment, bottoms, pajamas, gowns, and jump-suits were observed in patient clothing comparatively. However, gowns occupied a higher portion in medical personnel clothing. Patents in the USA related to patient clothing included patient clothing that provided examination convenience, monitoring patient clothing, patient clothing revising appearance, and patient clothing that assisted in movement. Korean patents related to patient clothing include functional patient clothing, patient clothing providing examination convenience, clothing for Alzheimer patients, and monitoring patient clothing. Many of the patents related to medical personnel clothing were about surgery gowns and mainly concerned with developments related to devices that allows putting on gowns while maintaining a sterile state and functionality to prevent liquid permeation. Regarding materials for medical clothing, there were many applications on breathability and liquid impermeable materials.
The purposes of this study were to analyze the gap between foodservice personnel and inpatients, to urge foodservice providers to reconsider by identifying the problems in service delivery for customer satisfaction, and to deduce the priority for foodservice quality improvement. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : the average perception score of personnel (4.32 out of 5) was higher than that of customers (3.90). In particular, the customers' perceptions of 17 attributes, which included 'removal service of tray by foodservice personnel', 'nutrition and health-related information service', 'handling inpatient's complaint ASAP', 'delicious meals' and 'salty enough meals' and so on, was significantly lower than personnel's. Both service providers and customers perceived that 'personnel attitude' was the highest and 'meal quality' was the lowest among the 4 factors, but there was significant difference on 'meal quality'(p < .001), 'customer reception' (p < .001) and 'personnel attitude' (p < .05) between the two groups. As a results of quadrant analysis, 'removal service of tray by foodservice personnel', 'handling inpatient's complaints ASAP' and 'meal service according to doctor's orders were categorized into Quadrant A with meaning of high personnel's perceptions and low customers'. Therefore service providers have to perceive the gap between the two viewpoints and grant priority to these attributes in improving foodservice qualify. Companies have attempted to build a rational and future-oriented new personnel system in order to adapt and survive in a rapidly changing environment. Recently, Samsung, LG, SK, and CJ, which are large domestic corporations, have been introducing new types of simplified personnel systems competitively. Although there are several prior studies that tried to classify these simplified personnel systems from a strategic point of view, there is a lack of empirical research in terms of the specific types from the perspective of employees. Therefore, in this study, an empirical study on the simplified personnel system which has currently been highlighted was carried out. The relationship between perceived justice (i.e., distributive justice and procedural justice) and organizational effectiveness (i.e., organizational commitment and innovative behavior) were tested. In addition, the mediating role of cognitive attitude as well as the moderating role of cognitive intensity in the simplified personnel system were investigated. The results of structural equation model using 157 survey data show that both distributive and procedural justice have a positive effect on cognitive attitude toward the simplified personnel system, which in turn leads to increased organizational commitment and innovative behavior. Interestingly, it is found that cognitive intensity intensifies the effect of distributive justice on cognitive attitude, whereas it attenuates the influence of procedural justice as expected. This study is among one of the first empirical studies focusing on the simplified personnel system and expands the concept of related variables such as perceived justice, cognitive attitude, and cognitive intensity in this context. Moreover, by clarifying the causal relationship between perceived justice and organizational effectiveness through the roles of cognitive attitude and cognitive intensity, it could provide several practical implications to managers who are interested in the introduction and early settlement of simplified personnel systems in a successful manner.

This paper describes the analysis of the effect on personnel computer in case of turning off power supply of main breaker in general electrical installation. In order to analyze the effect on personnel computer in case of turning off the power supply of main breaker, the switching impulse generator has been designed and fabricated which makes it possible to evaluate the effect on electrical product by switching impulse. The switching impulse tests were carried out for personnel computer according to applied voltage and number of switching impulse. As a consequence, switching impulse had not a significant influence on personnel computer in this study. The varistor of power input section functions as a protection of switching impulse as well as lightning impulse. The results will be used to related organization, and electrical product manufacturer, and residents.
When firms are confronted with IT investment decision-makings, technical or financial factors are widely considered. However, based on sociotechnical systems theory, it is argued that in addition to the traditional factors, social issues must be considered in the IT investment decision-makings. Even though the strategic criteria of social issues within organization are important for IT investment decision-makings, the social or organizational issues are hardly considered in IT implementation and adoption(Ryan and Harrison, 2000). The objective of this study is to empirically verify how the comprehensive consideration of both of technical and organizational issues related with IT investment affects firm performance through its impact on IT technical capability and IT personnel skills. Senior managers of 153 Korean firms were surveyed, and the collected data were analyzed with PLS technique. The results of the PLS path analysis show that the comprehensive consideration of the technical and social issues affected indirectly firm performance through IT technical capability and IT personnel skills. It is found that the comprehensive consideration had a significant impact on IT technical capability and IT personnel skills, and that IT technical capability and IT personnel skills affected firm performance. IT personnel was also found to affect IT technical capability. Finally, this study found that the consideration of social factors had greater impacts on firm performance than that of technical factors.
Purpose : This study examines The impact of human resource investment in internal control on stock price crash risk. Effective internal control ensures that information provided is complete and accurate, financial statements are reliable. By overseeing management, internal control systems can reduce agency costs between management and outside parties. In Korea, firms have to disclose information about internal control systems. The working experience of human resources in internal control systems is also provided for interested parties. If a firm hires more experienced internal control personnel, it can better facilitate the disclosure of information. Prior studies reported that information asymmetry between managers and investors increases future stock price crash risk. Therefore, the longer working experience internal control personnel have, the lower probability stock crashes have. Research design, data and methodology : This study analyzed the association between the working experience of internal control personnel and crash risk using regression analysis on KOSPI listed companies for fiscal years 2016 through 2017. The sample consists of 1,034 firm-years of non-financial firms whose fiscal year end on December 31. Career spanning data of internal control personnel was collected from internal control reports. The professionalism(IC_EXP) was measured as the logarithm of the average working experience of internal control personnel in months. Negative conditional skewness(NSKEW) and down-to-up volatility (DUVOL) are used to measure firm-specific crash risk. Both measures are based on firm-specific weekly returns derived from the expanded market model. Results : We find that work experience in internal control environment is negatively related to stock price crashes. Specifically, skewness(NSKEW) and volatility (DUVOL) are reduced when firms have longer tenure of human resources in internal control division. The results imply that firms with experienced internal control personnel are less likely to experience stock price crashes. Conclusions : Stock price crashes occur when investors realize that stock prices have been inflated due to information asymmetry. There is a learning effect when internal control processes are done repetitively. Thus, firms with more experienced internal control personnel could manage their internal control more effectively. The results of this study suggest that firms could decrease information asymmetry by investing in human resources for their internal control system.
As a hospital deals with people in their particular states, namely patients, computerization and automation in organization systems are very limited. Even though state-of-the-art medical systems such as the OCS, the HIS, the EMR, and the FACS are facilitating the computerization and informatization processes, they are for convenience and effectiveness. Ultimately, however, we should depend on specialists including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and medical engineers. Therefore, a hospital is a representative labor-intensive body. Like other similar organizations, hospitals require a lot of manpower. But they are quite different in that hospital people hold variety and complexity in their qualifications and licenses. In personnel management, a hospital is twice controlled owing to the special characteristics that human life is at stake. First, the quota of medical manpower should be obeyed lest the quality of medical services should be lowered, and their roles and interrelations are even regulated. Second, in spite of the peculiarity of hospitals, the duties of obligatory employment and social insurances should not be neglected like other companies. In order that each hospital can preserve the proper level of medical services, securing the appropriate level of medical personnel has to be regulated. However, as the personnel cost is one of the important indices of hospital management, too much regulation in manpower supply can lead to poor hospital management and, in the end, the drop of the quality of medical services. In sum, as far as hospital personnel is concerned, some autonomy ought to be given to each hospital so that it can control the quality of hospital services. In addition to this minimum regulation of personnel, certain incentive and reward systems like the graded nursing system need to be prepared.
Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the opinions of some local clinical dental hygienists on medical personnel of dental hygienists. It will be for provide the Future dental hygienist basic data necessary for medical personnel. There was no difference reason between dental hygienists and other personnel on duties, the reason were investigated to uncertainty of dental hygienist system, lack of dental hygienist workforce, dentists lack awareness of dental hygienist expertise. There was surveyed by the current many frequency duties in the dental clinic, assist for dental treatment, Oral health education and counselling, Preventive dental treatment. Conclusions: Legal guarantees for clinical dental hygienists work are absolutely required. Therefore, relevant government agencies and related organizations should resolve the contradiction of the legal system of medical law and medical technicians. The clinical dental hygienists should be promoted to medical personnel through the amendment of the medical law so that the duties practiced by the dental hygienist can be matched with the legal practice.
In this study, I would try to observe the scopes and related matters of the authority of private security personnel based on the basic discussion about the identity of private security. Everybody knows, the problems of private personnel have been mainly discussed in the relations of the public police. Because the roles of private personnel are similar to the police, and in the perspective of the law, private security are regulated by the police. When we compared with the police, the scopes of authorities of private personnel are considered in several points. First, most private personnel are just only 'citizen', so they can exercise the authority as citizen. It can include self-defense, self-help. flagrante delicto arrest. But when discuss the authority in the scopes of a possessionary right or managemental right, the authority of private personnel can be extended somewhat. Moreover, when private personnel are delegated by the special laws, their authority are extended much more. Finally, when the whole authority are delegated by such as the privatization, private personnel authority can be nearly same to the police. But, it can be considered that the degrees of the delegated authority are flexible. And the exercise of the authority must be performed in the limit that not infringe the individual freedom and rights. It seems to me that the degrees of fairness in use of authorities and it's a permitted limit are set forth a premise not only the legitimate base but also judicial judgement. Therefore, the attitudes of the courts related the exercise of authority are very important. And the growth of private security and the extension of authority followed are inevitably accompany the various problems of responsibility, so it must be considered about that in many perspectives.
