A pair of insulated-gate metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor has been used to measure the direct current produced from the ionization chamber in the range of to A. An analisis of direct-current differential amplifier giving the expressions of the common-mode rejection ratio and the rralization of the constant-current generator to give very large effective source resistance has been presented. Voltage gain is 6.6, drift at the room temperature is 1.5mv per day. The common-mode rejection ratio is obtained maximum 84db. These facts give the feasibility of small direct-current measurements by utilizing this type transistors.
In this paper we present a random number generation method which is one of the rejection methods, To accelerate ratio-of-uniform method we use an efficiency variable γ. After finding the optimal value of γwith respect to interesting distribution with pro-portional density random numbers can be generated in acceleration.

Micellar-enhanced ultrafiltration was investigated to remediate groundwater contaminated with chromate using a cationic surfactant, cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC). Removal of chromate was expressed as a function of molar ratio of CPC to chromate. With 10 molar ratio of CPC, removal efficiency of chromate was reached to over 99%. The rejection of CPC was 90% at 1 molar ratio, gradually increased as the molar ratio increased.

The present study evaluated the accuracy of MSD-related work criterion of Korea Ministry of Labor by using ergonomic workload evaluation methods. 1,948 manufacturing works in automobile industry were divided into 1,286 MSD-related risky works and 662 risk-free ones by using RULA, ANSI Z-365 and perceived discomfort evaluation. Then, the two types of works were evaluated by Labor Ministry work criterion to analyze the classification accuracy of the work criterion. The work criterion of Korea Labor Ministry had low hit and false alarm ratio(20 and 11%) and high miss and correct rejection ratio(80 and 89%), and the odd ratios of hit and correct rejection were 0.2 and 8.3, respectively. It can be concluded that the work criterion of Korea Labor Ministry is a conservative evaluation method which tends to evaluate a target work as risk-free.
In this study, we prepared nanofiltration membrane by applying the interfacial polymerization method as a way of manufacturing composite membranes. We have examined the effects of various preparation factors such as monomer concentration and composition, thermal curing condition, post treatment condition. In addition to preparation conditions, we also monitored the effects of operation conditions such as feed solution concentration and operation pressure on the permeation properties of the resulting nanofiltration membrane. We intended to increase the permeation rate of nanofiltration membrane by the enlargement of effective surface area using additives during interfacial polymerization step. With increasing the monomer concentration, membrane permeation rate are decreased with maintaining almost constant rejection. With respect to curing condition, with increasing the curing temperature both permeation rate and rejection are decreased. With increasing the ratio of MPD in amino monomer composition, permeation rate decreased drastically with high rejection. With increasing the feed solution concentration, both permeation rate and rejection decreased. Both permeation rates and rejection increased with increasing the operating pressure. Nanofiltration membrane have higher surface roughness with increasing additive concentration in the case of using MPD contained amine composition than using piperazine alone. Permeation rates are much lower than the nanofiltration membrane prepared by piperazine.
Background: This study was designed to analyze the clinical usefulness of mycophenolic acid trough concentration monitoring in kidney transplantation patients who were maintained with cyclosporine. Methods: The data of patients who underwent mycophenolic acid trough concentration monitoring after their first kidney transplant between November 2006 and August 2013 and were prescribed with cyclosporine, mycophenolate, and methylprednisolone were reviewed retrospectively. Cox analysis was used to analyze the risk factors for acute rejection within 1 year post-transplantation. Results: Among 90 patients, 41 (45.6%) achieved both the target levels of cyclosporine and mycophenolic acid, while three patients (3.3%) failed to achieve the target level of either cyclosporine or mycophenolic acid. Nine patients (10.0%) only achieved the mycophenolic acid target level and 37 patients (41.1%) only achieved the cyclosporine target level. While patients who achieved only the mycophenolic acid target concentration had no statistically increased risk compared to patients who achieved both target levels (hazard ratio [HR], 1.569; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.316 to 7.778; P=0.581), patients who only achieved the cyclosporine target concentration showed an increased risk of rejection compared to the both achievement group (HR, 4.112; 95% CI, 1.583 to 10.683; P=0.004). Patients who had no achievement in the target levels showed significantly increased rejection risk compared to the patients who achieved both target levels (HR, 17.811; 95% CI, 3.072 to 103.28; P=0.001). Conclusions: Mycophenolic acid trough concentration monitoring combined with cyclosporine trough concentration monitoring is useful for avoiding acute cellular rejection if the first 1 year post-transplantation.
The objective of this investigation is to establish the rejection characteristics of caesium and cobalt from radioactive liquid waste by chemical/ultrafiltration process. An extensive experimental investigation was conducted with inactive caesium and cobalt ions, utilizing ultrafiltration stirred cell. Caesium and cobalt could be effectively removed from waste solution using copper ferrocyanide and polyarcylic acid(PAA). The rejection dependence of the caesium was found to be a function of caesiun to potassium copper ferrocyanide feed molar ratio. The binding behavior of caesium on K$_2$Cu$_3$(Fe(CN)$\sub$6/)$_2$, particles was explained in terms of a Langmuir adsorption isotherm. When Cs/K$_2$Cu$_3$(Fe(CN)$\sub$6/)$_2$molar ratio was 1.5, the removal of caesium was the most efficient. The rejection efficiency of cobalt is dependent upon various parameters such as pH, cobalt concentration and PAA concentration. The rejection behavior of cobalt was explained in term of a equilibrium model taking into account the reaction between the ligand group, the proton and the cobalt ion. At the conditions of PAA/Co ratio of 2 and pH of 5.6, the removal of cobalt was over 90%. Also, the effect of chemical addition sequence for the simultaneously removal of caesiun and cobalt was discussed.
In this paper, fingerprint identification algorithm using pixel direction factor in blocks is proposed to minimize false acceptance ratio and to apply security system. The proposed algorithm is that a fingerprint image is divided by 16 blocks, then feature parameters which have direct factors of $0^{\circ},\;45^{\circ},\;90^{\circ}\;and\;135^{\circ}$ is extracted for each block. Membership function of a reference fingerprint and an input fingerprint for the extracted parameters is calculated, then identification of two fingerprint is distinguished using fuzzy inference. False acceptance ratio is evaluated about different fingerprints of In kinds regardless of sex and shape which are obtained from adults, and false rejection ratio is evaluated about fingerprints which are obtained by adding fingerprints of 10 kinds on different fingerprints of 100 kinds. The experiment results is that false acceptance ratio is average $0.34\%$ about experiment of 4,950 times, and false rejection ratio is average $3.7\%$ about experiment of 1,000 times. The proposed algerian is excellent for recognition rate and security.

This paper presents a gain and phase mismatch calibration technique for an image-reject RF receiver. The gain mismatch is calibrated by directly measuring the output signal amplitudes of two signal paths. The phase mismatch is calibrated by measuring the output amplitude of the final IF output at the image band. The calibration of the gain and phase mismatch is performed at power-up, and the normal operation of the RF receiver does not interfere with the mismatch calibration circuit. To verify the proposed technique, a 2.4-GHz Weaver image-reject receiver with the gain and phase mismatch calibration circuit is implemented in a 0.18-${\mu}m$ CMOS technology. The overall receiver achieves a voltage gain of 45 dB and a noise figure of 4.8 dB. The image rejection ratio(IRR) is improved from 31 dB to 59.76 dB even with 1 dB and $5^{\circ}$ mismatch in gain and phase, respectively.
The reverse osmosis membrane housing(HY) was developed for excellent distribution of a feed solution, and the separation performance was compared with the commercialized Rochem(RC) system. The permeation flux of HY system was a little lower than that of RC system. On the other hand, the NaCl rejection ra4io was generally higher. Also, the permeation flux and rejection ratio for type A, B and C modules(disc plate and frame type) were measured using NaCl, sucrose and butanol solutions. The separation performance of type C module for NaCL and sucrose solutions was the most effective, and then those of type A and B were followed, respectively. However, the separation performance for butanol solution was type B, C and A order. The flux improvement ratio of type B to A increased as butanol concentration decreased or operating pressure increased up to 28 bar.
