A Controller Design for Active Suspension System Using Evolution Strategy and Neural Network (진화전략과 신경회로망에 의한 능도 현가장치의 제어기 설계)

  • In this paper, we propose a linear quadratic regulator(LQR) controller design for the active suspension using evolution strategy(ES) and neural network. We can improve the inherent suspension problem, the trade-off between ride quality and suspension travel by selecting appropriate weight in the LQR-objective function. Since any definite rules for selecting weights do not exist, we replace the designers trial-and-error method with ES that is an optimization algorithm. Using the ES, we can find the proper control gains for selected frequencies, which have major effects on the vibrations of the vehicle. The relationship between the frequencies and proper control gains are generalized by use of the neural networks. When the vehicle is driven, the trained neural network is activated and provides the proper gains for operating frequencies. And we adopted double sky-hook control to protect car component when passing large bump. Effectiveness of our design has been shown compared to the conventional sky-hook controller through simulation studies.

  • In this paper a design method of robust power system stabilizers is proposed by means of robust linear quadratic regulator design technique under power system's operating condition change, which is caused by inner structure uncertainties and disturbances into a power system. It is assumed that the uncertainties present in the system are modeled as one equivalent signal. In this connections an optimal LQR control input for disturbance rejection, the output feedback gain for eliminating the disturbance are calculated. In this case. PSS input signal is obtained on the basis of weighted ${\Delta}P_e$ and $\Delta\omega$. In order to stabilize the overall control of system. Pole placement algorithm is applied in addition. making the poles of the closed loop system to move into a stable region in the complex plane. Some simulations have been conducted to verify the feasibility of the proposed control method on a machine to infinite bus power system. From the simulation results validation of the proposed method could be achieved by comparisons with the conventional PSS with phase lag-lead compensation.

  • The output voltage of synchronous generator is regulated constantly by field current control in excitation system High frequency PWM converter (current control mode buck converter) type excitation systam fer synchronous generator is able to control exciter current when the load change happened. This paper deals with the design and evaluation of the excitation system for a synchronous generator to improve the steady state and transient stability. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed excitation system is able to improve the response time by the DVR(digital voltage regulator) of 50[kW] synchronous generator.

  • Stamper surface temperature is very critical in replicating the high density optical disc substrates using injection molding as the pit or land/groove patterns on the optical disc substrate have decreased due to the rapid increase of areal density. During the filling stage, the polymer melt in the vicinity of the stamper surfaces rapidly solidifies and the solidified layer generated during polymer filling greatly deteriorates transcribability and fluidity of polymer melt. To improve transcribability and fluidity of polymer melt, stamper surface temperature should be controlled such that the growth of the solidified layer is delayed during the filling stage. In this study, the effect of heating on replication process was simulated numerically. Then, an injection mold equipped with instant active heating system was designed and constructed to raise the stamper surface temperature over the glass transition temperature during filling stage of the injection molding. Also, the closed loop controller using the Kalman filter and the linear quadratic Gaussian regulator was designed. As a result. the stamper surface temperature was controlled according to the desired reference stamper surface temperature.

  • We proposed a design method for squib current supply & interlock circuits in guided-missile fire control systems. In order to design squib current supply circuits, various missile squib loads including line resistance and squib devices have to be considered in advance minimizing probability of redesign of circuits and reducing the development cost by implementing the most proper squib current supply circuit. Also, we presented a hardware interlock logic instead of the commonly used software safety logic to improve the safety of guided-missile fire control systems. The proposed squib interlock circuit enhances safety requirements of guided-missile fire control systems. We confirmed that simulation and measurement results of the proposed design method are the same as theoretical analysis results.

  • This paper proposes a new fuzzy load torque observer and a fuzzy speed regulator to guarantee a robust speed control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). Also, the LMI conditions are given for the existence of the fuzzy load torque observer and fuzzy speed controller, and the gains of the observer and controller are calculated. The stability of the proposed control system is analytically proven. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed observer-based fuzzy speed controller, the simulation and experimental results are presented. Finally, it is definitely demonstrated that the proposed control algorithm can be used to accurately control the speed of a PM synchronous motor.

  • 본 논문에서는 범용 워크스테이션 환경하에서 수행되는 멀티미디어 응용프로그램(application)을 지원하기 위한 비례지분 방식의 CPU 스케줄러를 제시한다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 일반적 태스크의 지원을 위해 설계된 스트라이드 스케줄러를 확장한다. 멀티미디어 응용프로그램의 시간 요구사항을 명시하기 위하여 새로운 스케줄링 파라미터들을 도입한다. 비율조정기를 도입한 결과 스케줄링의 정확도의 오차는 O(1)로 감소하였다. 별도의 태스크 그룹을 설정하여 상대적 지분과 절대적 지분을 부여했다. 모의실험을 사용하여 스케줄러의 성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 제안된 스케줄러는 증가된 정확도와 적응성 및 유연성을 가짐을 알 수 있었다. Abstract This paper presents a proportional-share CPU scheduler which can support multimedia applications in a general-purpose workstation environment. For this purpose, we have extended the stride scheduler which is designed originally for conventional tasks. New scheduling parameters are introduced to specify timing requirements of multimedia applications. Through the use of the rate regulator, the accuracy error of the scheduling is reduced to O(1). Separate task groups are proposed to represent both relative shares and absolute shares. The proposed scheduler is evaluated using a simulation study. The results show that the proposed scheduler achieves improved accuracy and adaptability as well as flexibility.

  • Recently, Mobile multimedia equipments as smart phone and tablet pc requirement is increasing and this market is also being expanded. These mobile equipments require large multi-media function, so more power consumption is required. For these reasons, the needs of power management IC as switching type dc-dc converter and linear regulator have increased. DC-DC buck converter become more important in power management IC because the operating voltage of VLSI system is very low comparing to lithium-ion battery voltage. There are many people to be concerned about digital DC-DC converter without using external passive device recently. Digital controlled DC-DC converter is essential in mobile application to various external circumstance. This paper proposes the DC-DC Buck Converter using the AVR RISC 8-bit micro-processor control. The designed converter receives the input DC 18-30 [V] and the output voltage of DC-DC Converter changes by the feedback circuit using the A/D conversion function. Duty ratio is adjusted to maintain a constant output voltage 12 [V]. Proposed converter using the micro-processor control was compared to a typical boost converter. As a result, the current loss in the proposed converter was reduced about 10.7%. Input voltage and output voltage can be displayed on the LCD display to see the status of the operation.

행성 근접통과를 이용한 행성간 탐사선의 궤도 설계에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 행성 근접통과(Gravity Assist, Swingby, Flyby)를 이용한 행성간 탐사선의 궤도를 설계할 수 있는 알고리즘 개발을 자체적으로 수행하였다. 미 항공우주국(NASA)에서는 이를 이용한 행성간 탐사선의 궤도에 관한 연구를 이미 1950년대부터 시작하여 왔으며, 1973년 Mariner 10호가 한번에 두 행성, 금성과 수성을 탐사하는데 성공하였다. 행성간 임무에 있어서 행성 근접통과를 적절하게 이용한다면 임무 수행시 요구되는 에너지를 최소화 시킬 수 있어 발사비용의 절감효과와 함께 한번의 발사로 여러 행성의 탐사가 가능하여 임무의 효율성을 증대 시킬 수 있다. 행성 근접통과를 이용한 행성 탐사선의 궤도설계를 위해서는 근접 통과하는 행성(Flyby planet)에서의 진입속도벡터( $V_{\infty}$$^{ -}$) 및 출발속도벡터( $V_{\infty}$$^{+}$)의 크기, 근접 통과시의 비행 고도(Flyby altitude), 근접 통과 행성과의 충돌여부 분석(B-plane analysis), 최종적으로 도착하고자 하는 행성(Target planet)의 위치 등 많은 제한조건이 고려되어야 한다. 연구된 알고리즘의 결과를 미 항공우주국 (NASA)의 임무였던 Mariner 10호의 결과와 비교하여 보았으며, 우리나라가 향후 목성으로 탐사선을 보낸다고 가정하였을 경우, 행성 근접통과를 이용한 탐사선의 발사시기(Launch Window), 요구되는 발사 에너지(C3)값, 그리고 각각에 따른 궤적들을 산출하여 보았다. 이미 기술 개발을 완료한 국가들이 관련 기술의 제휴를 기피하고 있는 현 상황에서 이와 관련된 연구는 우주개발의 시대를 열고 있는 우리나라의 우주개발관련 기초 기술 분야를 위해 선행 연구되어야 할 부분이다. 기초 기술 분야를 위해 선행 연구되어야 할 부분이다.다.향을 해석하고 시뮬레이션 하였다.Device Controller)는 ECU로부터 명령어를 받아서 arm 및 safe 상태에 대한 텔리 메트리 데이터를 제공한다 그리고, SAR(Solar Array Regulator)는 ECU로부터 Bypass Relay 및 ARM Relay에 관한 명령어를 받아 수행되며 그에 따른 텔리 메트리 데이터를 제공한다. 마지막으로 EPS 소프트웨어를 검증하는 EPS Software Verification을 수행하였다 전력계 소프트웨어의 설계의 검증 부분은 현재 설계 제작된 전력계 .소프트웨어의 동작 특성 이 위성 의 전체 운용개념과 연계하여 전력계 소프트웨어가 전력계 및 위성체의 요구조건을 만족시키는지를 확인하는데 있다. 전력계 운용 소프트웨어는 배터리의 충ㆍ방전을 효율적으로 관리해 3년의 임무 기간동안 위성체에 전력을 공급할 수 있도록 설계되어 있다this hot-core has a mass of 10sR1 which i:s about an order of magnitude larger those obtained by previous studies.previous studies.업순서들의 상관관계를 고려하여 보다 개선된 해를 구하기 위한 연구가 요구된다. 또한, 준비작업비용을 발생시키는 작업장의 작업순서결정에 대해서도 연구를 행하여, 보완작업비용과 준비비용을 고려한 GMMAL 작업순서문제를 해결하기 위한 연구가 수행되어야 할 것이다.로 이루어 져야 할 것이다.태를 보다 효율적으로 증진시킬 수 있는 대안이 마련되어져야 한다고 사료된다.$\ulcorner$순응$\lrcorner$의 범위를 벗어나지 않는다. 그렇기 때문에도 $\ulcorner$순응$\lrcorner$$\ulcorner$표현$\lrcorner$의 성격과 형태를 외형상으로 더욱이 공간상에서는 뚜렷하

A Design of Integrated Circuit for High Efficiency current mode boost DC-DC converter (고효율 전류모드 승압형 DC-DC 컨버터용 집적회로의 설계)

  • This paper describes a current mode PWM DC-DC converter IC for battery charger and supply power converter for portable electronic devices. The maximum supply voltage of IC is 40[V] and 2.8[V]~330[V] DC input power is converted to higher or programmed DC voltage according to external resistor ratio or wire winding ratio of transformer. The maximum supply output current is 3[A] over and voltage error of output node is within 3[%]. The whole circuit needed current mode PWM DC-DC converter circuit is designed. The package dimensions and number of external parts are minimized in order to get a smaller hardware size. The power consumption is smaller then 1[mW] at stand by period with supply voltage of 3.6[V] and maximum energy conversion efficiency is about 86[%]. This device has been designed in a 0.6[um] double poly, double metal 40[V] CMOS process and whole chip size is 2100*2000 [um2].
