쓰레기 종량제 정책의 분석과 평가 (Analysis and Assessment of Refuse Collection Polity)

  • This thesis is to analyze and assess a new refuse collection system that was based on the term of discharge based quantity and collection of refuse from the beginning on January 1, 1995.In the case study for the refuse collection policy of metropolitan Taegu city based on the year of operation, ie, before 1994, after 1995 and as of 1998, the refuse collection policy analyzed from current position and actual condition. The results of analysis as follows. In case of discharged refuse quantity was show 20.4% reduction than the operation was begun and more 5.8% reduction as of 1998.Under the operation of the refuse collection system, therefore, management of refuse and garbage, the reduction of discharged refuse, activation of refuse collection, Recycling and expansion of financial self-reliance increased efficiency of refuse collection system. In the conclusion, more perfect refuse collection system should be developed of implemented in the near future.

생활폐기물 관로이송용 터보블로어 운전 및 설계 최적화 연구 (Optimal design and operation of a turbo blower used for refuse collection system)

  • Optimal operation of turbo blowers connected in serial is analyzed by experimental measurements and numerical simulation with three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations. The turbo blower system considered in the present study is widely used for the refuse collection system. Design optimization of the turbo blower using some design variables is also studied to enhance the performance of the blower. Throughout numerical simulation, it is found that the input energy reduction by optimal operation of the turbo blowers with the proper changes of the rotor's rotating frequency can be reduced a input energy for operating the blower system compared to the conventional on-off operation method theoretically. It is also found that the optimal design method is effective to enhance the performance of the turbo blower.

  • The study was carried out to investigate on the response of environmental sanitation problems in action of the volume based waste charge system in Seoul The responses from the 346 persons who dwelled in Seoul was stimulatively answered, this system was considered as a successful on 70.5% of total answers, but little portion(29.4 % ) of those was unknown on the mean of this system. And we knew that this system was need to the communication and education through the press media about this one. After the action of the volume based waste system, the volume of refuse discharged in a day was decreased 30 ∼40% than before. In the problems of environmental sanitation after this system, the number of sanitary insect( cockroach etc ) and rat was decreased, also the production of orders and dust caused by refuse was decreased in comparison with those before. This results were considered that the Separate Collection should be perfectly performed. In response, the regular envelope of refuse was serious problems, the improvement for this one was demanded. The kind of difficult refuse treated was waste rubbers> electric products > furniture> foodstuffs> bottles, cans> papers, pulps etc, and the next proposal for this system should be prepared. Conclusively, the volume based waste charge system should be remarkable system In terms of resources recycling as well as wastes reduction. Above all in order to conform this system the separate collection system should be systematically performed, the next improvable proposal of the detailed methods in this system should be prepared.

  • 본 논문에서는 수명이 다한 제품이나 소비자가 더 이상 사용하지 않는 폐기품을 다시 재사용하거나 폐기하는데 필요한 일련의 활동을 위한 역방향 로지스틱스에서의 수거망 설계 문제를 다루고 있다. 수거망 설계 문제는 수거지점의 위치와 수요지의 폐기품을 수거 지점에 할당하는 것을 결정하는 문제로 정의할 수 있으며 수거지점은 재활용품이나 폐기품이 위치한 지점 근처에 위치하고 주어진 잠재적인 위치를 중에서 결정하게 된다. 여기서, 각 수거지점은 용량제약이 있어 수거 지점에 할당되는 폐기품의 양에는 제한이 있다. 본 논문에서 다루는 수거망 설계문제에서는 수거지점을 설치하는데 필요한 고정비용과 수요지와 수거지점간의 수송비용의 합을 최소화하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한 대상문제를 보다 명확히 설명하기 위하여 징수계획법을 이용한 수리적 모형을 제안하였으며 문제의 복잡도 인하여 타부 서치와 시뮬레이티드 어닐링 두 가지 형태의 탐색기법을 제안하였다. 이들 탐색기법에 대하여 최대 500개의 잠재적 위치를 가지는 문제에 대하여 실험을 수행하였고 실험결과를 제시하였다.

Experience with an On-board Weighing System Solution for Heavy Vehicles

  • Mining, construction, and other special vehicles for heavy use are designed to work under high-performance and off-road working conditions. The driving and executive mechanisms of the support structures and superstructures of these vehicles frequently operate under high loads. Such high loads place the equipment under constant risk of an accident and can jeopardize the dynamic stability of the machinery. An experimental investigation was conducted on a refuse collection vehicle. The aim of this research was to determine the working conditions of a real vehicle: the kinematics of the waste container, that is, a hydraulic rotate drum for waste collection; the dynamics of the load manipulator (superstructure); the vibrations of the vehicle mass; and the strain (stress) of the elements responsible for the supporting structure. For an examination of the force (weight) on the rear axle of a heavy vehicle, caused by its own weight and additional load, a universal measurement system is proposed. As a result of this investigation, we propose an alternative system for continuous vehicle weighing during waste collection while in motion, that is, an on-board weighing system, and provide suggestions for measuring equipment designs.

볼류트 케이싱 형상에 따른 터보블로어 성능특성 고찰 (Performance Characteristics of a Turbo Blower Having the Various Shapes of a Volute Casing)

  • 본 연구에서는 생활폐기물 관로이송 설비에서 사용되고 있는 터보블로어의 성능향상을 목적으로 하며, 볼류트 케이싱의 확대반경과 폭에 따른 터보블로어의 성능특성을 삼차원 나비어-스톡스 방정식을 통한 수치해석과 실험적인 방법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 수치해석을 통한 압력과 효율특성은 실험값과 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. 수치해석을 이용한 볼류트 케이싱 형상특성 연구를 통하여, 터보블로어의 성능은 임펠러 익간 및 블로어 출구의 압력손실을 줄임으로써 개선됨을 확인하였다. 본 설계변수 분석을 통하여 효율은 약 3%, 압력은 약 2% 개선할 수 있었다. 또한 수치해석 결과를 이용하여 터보블로어의 내부유동장 특성을 비교, 분석하였다.

터보블로어 설계인자의 성능특성 연구 (Performance Analysis on the Design Variables of a Turbo Blower)

  • This paper describes the shape optimization of a blower impeller used for a refuse collection system. Two design variables, which are used to define the blade angles of an impeller, are introduced to increase the blower performance. A blower efficiency is selected as an object function, and the shape optimization of the blade angles is performed by a response surface method (RSM). Three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations are introduced to analyze the internal flow of the blower and to find the value of object function for the training data. Relatively good agreement between experimental measurements and numerical simulation is obtained in the present study. Throughout the shape optimization, blower efficiency for the optimal blade angles is successfully increased up to 3.6% compared with that of reference at the design flow rate. Detailed flow field inside the turbo blower is also analyzed and discussed.

수도권 매립지에서 침출수-가스의 동시 유동 해석을 위한 전산 모델링 연구 (The Numerical Modeling Study for the Simultaneous Flow of Leachate and LFG in Kimpo Landfill)

  • 쓰레기의 단순 매립은 주변 환경에 대해 고려하지 않고 이루어지기 때문에 침출수에 의해서 지하수와 토양이 오염되고 매립가스에 의해서 악취 및 대기오염을 발생시킨다. 본 연구에서는 김포매립지의 침출수 수위저감과 매립가스의 포집 및 제어에 관한 연구를 수행하기 위해 다차원 2상 천이유동 유한차분 전산 모델을 활용하여 침출수와 매립가스의 동시 유동 해석을 시도하였다. 이 전산해석에서는 매립지 상부는 가스 생성량의 58%가 대기로 발산되며. 지하함앙율은 연평균 강수량의 12%로 가정하였다. 이외의 모든 자료들도 1995년 3단 매립 시점의 자료를 이용하였다. 전산 해석결과 매립지 중앙에 위치한 지점에서 수두의 최대값은 26 m$H_2O$(2.52 atm)로 나타났으며. 수평관의 설치는 매립지의 안정화 시점을 앞당기는데 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 수도권 매립지에서 3단 매립이란 가정과 낮은 지하 함양율을 적용하였음에도 40년이 경과되는 시점에서 침출수는 15.l$\times$$10^{6}$ ㎥, 매립가스는 5.85$\times$$10^{9}$ ㎥ 의 엄청난 양이 누적 생산되었다.
