용융아연 도금욕중 Al농도 센서의 기준전극에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Reference Electrode for Al Concentration Sensor in Zinc Galvanizing Melt)

  • In order to get basic information on the reference electrode material for the long life Al concentration sensor in zinc galvanizing melt, the workability and stability of fluorine potential cell with $CaF_2$ single crystal electrolyte were examined carefully at constant temperature for six kinds of reference materials (Zn, Sn, Cd, Bi, Pb, Al-Sn alloy + fluorides). Good workability and stability of the sensor were found in sensor with $Bi+BiF_3$ reference electrode. The Al sensor with $Bi+BiF_3$ reference electrode was assembled and was tested in Zn-Al melt with different Al concentration. The EMF was changed rapidly with the change of Al concentration and was stabilized in a short time. Thus the response of EMF was satisfactory for $CaF_2$ sensor. The correlationship between EMF from the sensor and logarithm of Al concentration has been derived from the least square regression method. E/mV=57.515log[wt% Al]+1883.3 R=0.9717 ($0.013{\leq}[wt% Al]{\leq}0.984$) The EMF from Al sensor was increased linearly against logarithm of [wt% Al]. The fluorine potential of Zn-Al melt was also calculated to be in the range of $10^{-60}{\sim}10^{-61}$ Pa for the present experiemental condition.

  • Sensor network에서의 망동기화는 센서 노드들을 하나의 시각에 동기화시킴으로써, 센서 노들들이 수집해서 보내는 센서 정보들이 의미있는 정보들이 되도록 돕는 망의 기본적인 요소이다. 센서 노드들이 망동기화 되어 있지 않으면, 센서 노드돌이 보내오는 시각정보와 재난 감지 이벤트를 잘못 해석하여, 방향을 오판할 수 있고, 이를 통한 대응은 큰 재난으로 나타날 수도 있다. 배터리의 제약과 컴퓨팅 파워의 제약 등으로 인해 센서 노드에 들어가는 시각동기화 알고리즘은 복잡한 계산을 요구하지 않고, 많은 메시지를 발생시키지 않으면서 정확하게 동기화할 수 있어야 한다. 동기화의 오차를 줄이기 위해서는 동기화 할 센서노드와 동기화 정보를 제공하는 참조노드(reference node)와의 홉 수가 적어야 한다. 이를 위해 망 내에 하나의 참조노드만 사용하는 것이 아니라, 여러 개의 참조노드를 사용하게 되는데, 이는 참조노드들 사이의 동기화를 맞추어야 하는 문제를 낳는다. 지금까지 망동기화를 위한 여러 알고리즘들이 제안되어 왔지만, 참조노드들끼리의 동기화 문제가 잘 고려되지 못하였다. 본 논문에서는 다수의 참조노드를 갖는 Sensor network에서 센서 노드 자체의 동기 뿐 아니라, 참조노드들의 동기를 향상시켜 전체적인 망동기화를 개선시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하였고, 이를 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인하였다.

  • This paper designs and implements wake up module for WBAN/USN sensor node which is using dynamic reference voltage demodulation circuit. When a comparator is used in a system for detecting received voltage level, comparator must have a reference voltage. However, the reference voltage is fixed, the system can communicate only a few range because received voltage level is changing widely due to distance of the wireless sensor nodes. Therefore, the proposed wake up module employs a dynamic reference voltage demodulation circuit for increasing communication range.

인듐틴옥사이드와 몰리브데늄을 이용한 외부 기준 저항이 필요 없는 온도센서 (Temperature sensor without reference resistor by indium tin oxide and molybdenum)

  • Display quality depends on panel temperatures. To compensate it, temperature sensor was integrated on the panel. The conventional temperature sensor integrated on the panel needs external reference resistor. Since the resistance of external resistor can vary according to the variation of the environment temperature, the conventional temperature sensor can make error in temperature sensing. The environmental temperatures can change by the back light unit, driving circuits or chips. In this paper, we proposed a integrated temperature sensor on display panel which does not need external reference resister. Instead of external reference resistor, we used two materials which have different temperature coefficient in resistivity. They are connected serially and the output voltage was measured at the point of connection with the applied voltage to both ends. The proposed sensor was fabricated with indium tin oxide(ITO), and Mo metal electrode temperature sensor which were connected serially. We verified the temperature senor by the measurements of sensitivity, lineality, hysteresis, repeatability, stability, and accuracy.

대역 내 기준 파장을 갖는 근적외선 그리즘 실리콘 광 면 센서 분광기 설계 및 제작 (Design and Fabrication of an NIR Grism Si Optical Area Sensor Spectrometer with In-band Reference Wavelength)

  • An NIR grism Si optical area sensor spectrometer with in-band reference wavelength is designed and fabricated. It is composed of a transmission type diffraction grating (spatial density 300 line/mm), a rectangular N-BK7 prism (apex angle 30 degree), NIR filter(cutoff wavelength 720 nm), an imaging convex lens(focal length 50 mm F1.8) and an IR modified DSLR camera (Canon EOS40D) of Si optical area sensor ($3,888{\times}2,592$ pixels, pixel size $5.710{\mu}m$). "In-band reference wavelength function" is implemented using non-dispersive 0th diffraction order optical beam. The NIR grism spectrometer is tested in a laboratory using a halogen lamp and a Neon lamp. And the spectrometer is used in an astronomy field for obtaining the planet Jupiter NIR spectrum. In-band reference wavelength i.e. un-deviation wavelength is 846 nm, an wavelength resolution is 0.3027 nm/pixel, an wavelength resolving power is 2,794 and an wavelength range is 650~1,000 nm.

기준전극의 형상과 입력전극사이의 간격을 고려한 건식형 표면 근전위 센서 개발 (Development of Dry-type Surface Myoelectric Sensor for the Shape of the Reference Electrode and the Inter-Electrode Distance)

  • This paper proposes a dry-type surface myoelectric sensor for the myoelectric hand prosthesis. The designed surface myoelectric sensor is composed of skin interface and processing circuits. The skin interface has one reference and two input electrodes, and the reference electrode is located in the center of two input electrodes. In this paper is proposed two types of sensors with the circle- and bar-shaped reference electrode, but all input electrodes are the bar-shaped. The metal material of the electrodes is the stainless steel (SUS440) that endures sweat and wet conditions. Considering the conduction velocity and the median frequency of the myoelectric signal, the inter-electrode distance (IED) between two input electrodes as 18mm, 20mm, and 22mm is selected. The signal processing circuit consists of a differential amplifier with a band pass filter, a band rejection filter for rejecting 60Hz power-line noise, amplifiers, and a mean absolute value(MAV) circuit. Using SUS440, six prototype skin interface with different reference electrode shape and IED is fabricated, and their output characteristics are evaluated by output signal obtained from the forearm of a healthy subject. The experimental results show that the skin interface with parallel bar shape and the 18mm IED has a good output characteristics. The fabricated dry-type surface myoelectric sensor is evaluated for the upper-limb amputee.

  • As infrared light radiates, the CMOS Readout IC (ROIC) for the microbolometer typed infrared sensor detects voltage or current which is caused by the variation of resistance in the bolometer sensor. A serious problem we may have in designing the ROIC is the value of bolometer and reference resistors will be changed due to process variation. Since each pixel does not have the same value of resistance, fixed pattern noise problems happen during the sensor operations. In this paper, we propose a novel technique to compensate the fluctuation of reference resistance with taking account of process variation. By using a comparator and a cross coupled latch, we will make the value of reference resistor same as the bolometer's.

  • This paper proposes a compact-sized surface myoelectric sensor for myoelectric hand prosthesis. To fit the surface myoelectric sensor in the socket of the myoelectric hand prosthesis, the sensor should be a compact size. 기준영상을 이용한 차량 측위 알고리즘 개발 (Development of a Vehicle Positioning Algorithm Using Reference Images)

  • 자율주행차는 교통사고로 인한 인명피해나, 운전으로 인해 발생하는 시간 및 비용을 줄일 수 있는 장점 때문에 개발 및 운용이 확대되고 있다. 이러한 자율주행차의 운행을 위해서는 정밀한 측위가 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 고가의 센서를 사용하지 않고 차량 내장센서, 위성센서, 영상센서와 사전에 구축해둔 기준영상 정보를 통합하여 차량의 위치를 정밀하게 추정하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 기준영상 정보는 센서 정보만 사용하였을 경우 발생하는 측위 정밀도 한계를 극복할 수 있으며, 위성신호 단절과 같은 문제 발생시에도 안정적으로 취득이 가능한 장점이 있다. 센서 및 기준영상 정보를 결합하기 위한 필터는 개별 센서의 다양한 확률 밀도 분포를 반영할 수 있는 파티클 필터를 사용하였다. 알고리즘의 성능평가를 위해 데이터 취득 시스템을 구축하고 이를 이용한 주행 데이터 및 기준영상 정보를 취득하였다. 위성센서에 의한 오차가 비교적 큰 주행 경로에 대해서도 주행영상 및 기준영상 정보를 함께 결합할 경우 약 0.7 m 이내의 정확도로 차량 측위가 가능함을 확인하였다.

One of the serious problems in designing the ROIC is that resistances in the bolometer and reference resistor have process variation. This means that each pixel does not have the same resistance, causing serious fixed pattern noise problems in sensor operations. In this paper, Reference resistor compensation technique was proposed. This technique is to compensate the reference resistance considering the process variation, and it has the same reference resistance value as a bolometer cell resistance by using a comparator and a cross coupled latch.
