400 km/h 고속철도 환경소음저감을 위한 선로 변 벽체 상단장치개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Device Installed on the Barrier for The Environmental Noise Reduction in 400 km/h High Speed Railway)

  • 고속열차의 설계 및 운행기술이 발전하면서 고속철도의 운행속도가 빠르게 증속되고 있다. 반면 증속 시 발생하는 소음으로 인해 고속철도 연변의 주거지역 등에서는 많은 소음문제가 발생하고 있으며, 고속철도 소음에 대한 민원도 지속적인 증가추세에 있다. 향후 고속철도가 원활히 설계속도대로 운행되기 위해서는 고속철도의 방사소음특성에 적합한 소음예측기술 및 저감기술이 개발되어야 한다. 이와 같은 요구에 부합하기 위해, 400 km/h 고속철도 인프라 연구가 수년에 걸쳐 진행되었다. 이 연구를 통해 신뢰성을 갖는 고속철도 소음예측평가 기술이 개발되었고, 현재 소음저감기술의 단점을 극복하기 위한 핵심방음장치가 개발되었다. 본 연구의 궁극적인 목적은 고속철도 환경소음을 줄이기 위해 개발된 선로 변 벽체 상단에 설치되는 상단장치의 소음성능평가 및 풍압안전성 검증에 관한 것이다.

1-propanol 첨가에 따른 이산화타이타늄(TiO2) 광 촉매의 비표면적 향상 및 이산화탄소 환원 효율 향상 (Improvement of Carbon Dioxide Reduction Efficiency of Titanium Dioxide Photocatalyst Using 1-propanol)

  • Recently, the problem of global warming caused by greenhouse gases is getting serious due to the development of industry and the increase in transportation means. Accordingly, the need for a technology to reduce carbon dioxide, which accounts for most of the greenhouse gas, is increasing. Among them, a catalyst for converting carbon dioxide into fuel is being actively studied. Catalysts for reducing carbon dioxide are classified into thermal catalysts and photocatalysts. In particular, the photocatalyst has the advantage that carbon dioxide can be reduced only by irradiating ultraviolet rays at room temperature without high temperature or additional gas. TiO2 is widely used as a photocatalyst because it is non-toxic and has high stability, but has a disadvantage of low carbon dioxide reduction efficiency. To increase the reduction efficiency, 1-propanol was used in the synthesis process. This prevents agglomeration of the catalyst and increases the specific surface area and pores of TiO2, thereby increasing the surface area in contact with carbon dioxide. As a result of measuring the CO2 reduction efficiency, it was confirmed that the efficiency of TiO2 with 1-propanol and TiO2 without 1-propanol was 19% and 12.3%, respectively, and the former showed a 1.5 times improved efficiency.

  • The reduction of chip area and delay is important purpose of Scheduling in High-Level Synthesis. This paper presents a scheduling approach with component selection. After obtaining a initial schedule taking only single-functional u-nits, the component selection of our approach attempts the reduction of chip area and/or delay by the selection more suitable components in a component library using Simulated Annealing.

화학환원법(化學還元法)을 이용(利用)해 제조(製造)한 20% Pt/C 캐소드 촉매(觸媒)의 열처리(熱處理)에 따른 산소환원반응(酸素還元反應) 평가(評價) (Oxygen Reduction Reaction Evaluation of Synthesized 20% Pt/C with Beat Treatment by Chemical Reduction Method)

  • 고분자전해질 연료전지용 캐소드 촉매로서 화학환원법을 이용하여 20% Pt/C 제조하고 다양한 온도($300-600^{\circ}C$)열처리하여 산소환원반응을 평가하였다 $300-400^{\circ}C$에서 열처리한 20% Pt/C가 높은 산소환원반응 활성을 나타냈으며, 특히 $300^{\circ}C$에서 열처리한 촉매를 0.6V에서의 정전위를 측정한결과, 열처리하지 않은 촉매에 비해서 산소환원 반응 활성정도가 2배 높게 나타났다. TEM 및 XRD 분석을 이용하여 조사한 결과, 열처리 온도가 높아짐에 따라서 백금 입자 크기가 커지고 결정화도가 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과에서 산소환원반응 활성을 위한 백금의 입자 크기와 결정화도가 $300^{\circ}C$에서 최적화되는 것으로 판단된다.

  • Fe-Si-Cr ferroalloy is predominantly produced by carbothermic reduction. In this study, silicothermic and carbothermic mixed reduction of chromite ore to produce Fe-Si-Cr alloy is suggested. As reductants, silicon and silicon carbide are evaluated by thermochemical calculations, which prove that silicon carbide can be applied as a raw material. Considering the critical temperature of the change from the carbide to the metallic form of chromium, thereduction experiments were carried out. In these high temperature reactions, silicon and silicon carbide act as effective reductants to produce Fe-Si-Cr ferroalloy. However, at temperatures lower than the critical temperature, silicon carbide shows a slow reaction rate for reducing chromite ore. For the proper implementation of a commercial process that uses silicon carbide reductants, the operation temperature should be kept above the critical temperature. Using equilibrium calculations for chromite ore reduction with silicon and silicon carbide, the compositions of reacted metal and slag were successfully predicted. Therefore, the mass balance of the silicothermic and carbothermic mixed reduction of chromite ore can be proposed based on the calculations and the experimental results.

LiCl-Li$_2$O 용융염계에서 우라늄 산화물의 전기화학적 금속전환 반응 메카니즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Electrolytic Reduction Mechanism of Uranium Oxide in a LiCl-Li$_2$O Molten Salt)

  • 본 연구에서는 고온의 LiCl-Ll$_2$O 용융염계에서 우라늄 산화물의 금속전환과 Li$_2$O의 전해반응이 동시에 진행되는 통합 반응 메카니즘을 기초로 한 전기화학적 금속전환기술을 제안하였다. 본 실험에서는 전기화학적 환원반응에 의해 생성된 Li 금속이온이 음극에 전착과 동시에 우라늄 산화물과 반응하여 금속전환율 99 % 이상의 우라늄 감속을 생성하는 통합 반응 메카니즘을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 전기화학적 금속전환기술의 공정 적용성 평가 일환으로 우라늄 산화물의 금속전환성, 반응 메카니즘 규명, Li$_2$O의 closed recycle rate 및 물질전달 특성 등의 기초 데이터를 확보하였다 향후 전기화학적 금속전환기술은 LiCl-Li 용융염계의 금속전환공정의 반응조건 제한성 해소, 금속전환율 향상 및 공정의 단순화 등의 기술성과 경제성 향상 측면에서 획기적인 방안으로 고려될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

부하지속곡선을 이용한 비점오염원 우선관리 지역 선정 및 관리목표 설정 연구 (Identifying Priority Area for Nonpoint Source Pollution Management and Setting up Load Reduction Goals using the Load Duration Curve)

  • The objective of this study is to identify the priority area where the nonpoint source pollution (NPS) management is required and to set up the load reduction goals for the identified priority area. In this study, the load duration curve (LDC) was first developed using the flow and water quality data observed at 286 monitoring stations. Based on the developed LDC, the priority area for the NPS pollution management was determined using a three-step method. The 24 watersheds were finally identified as the priority areas for the NPS pollution management. The water quality parameters of concern in the priority areas were the total phosphorus or chemical oxygen demand. The load reduction goals, which were calculated as the percent reduction from current loading levels needed to meet target water quality, ranged from 67.9% to 97.2% during high flows and from 40.3% to 69.5% during moist conditions, respectively. The results from this study will help to identify critical watersheds for NPS program planning purposes. In addition, the process used in this study can be effectively applied to identify the pollutant of concern as well as the load reduction target.

Optimized design of dual steel moment resisting system equipped with cross-anchored self-centering buckling restrained chevron brace

  • In most self-center braces, decreasing residual deformation is possible only by increasing pretension force, which results in lower energy dissipation capacity. On the other hand, increasing energy dissipation capacity means higher values of residual deformation. The goal of this research was to find the best design for a self-centering buckling restrained brace (SC-BRB) system by balancing self-centering capability and energy dissipation. Three, six, and nine-story structures were investigated using OpenSees software and the TCL programming language to achieve this goal. For each height, 62 different SC-BRBs were considered using different values for the pretension force of cables, the area of the buckling restrained brace (BRB) core plate, and the yield stress of the core plate. The residual deformation and dissipated energy of all the models were calculated using nonlinear analyses after cyclic loading was applied. The optimum design for each height was determined among all the models and was compared to the structure equipped with the usual BRB. The residual deformation of the framed buildings was significantly reduced, according to the findings. Also the reduction of the energy dissipation was acceptable. The optimum design of SC-BRB in 6-story building has the most reduction percent in residual deformation, it can reduce residual deformation of building 83% while causing only a 57% of reduction in dissipated energy. The greatest reduction in residual deformation versus dissipated energy reduction was for the optimum SC-BRB design of 9-story building, results indicated that it can reduce residual deformation of building 69% while causing only a 42% of reduction in dissipated energy.
