도로 소음 저감용 능동소음 제어시스템의 구현과 지향성 및 무지향성 스피커의 특성 고찰 (A Study on the Active Noise Control System for Road Noise Reduction Implementation and Characterization of Directional and Non-directional Speaker)

  • Road traffic noise barriers being used to reduce the noise, but the city surroundings inhibition, ecosystem disturbance, and it is difficult to maintain. Can enhance or complement the existing noise barrier performance, so that it is necessary to develop an electronic noise-reduction system In this paper, we proposed an electronic road noise reduction devices to reduce road noise for a DSP-based signal processing and analog signal input-output controller. In order to verify the control performance, we performed noise reduction experimentation of ANC by filtered-X LMS algorithm and traffic noise signal injection. The controller is equipped with noise reduction algorithms were tested on the characteristics of directional and omnidirectional speaker.

  • Railway noise has been a social issues nowadays in our community. This paper discusses the environmental noise problem along railway lines. We overview the noise level and noise exposed populations due to conventional and high speed train operation at first. Then we introduce variety of noise reduction schemes to protect the community based on an engineering approach. Some applicationcases to reduce the noise will be demonstrated. Finally, we propose the noise barrier tunnel as a tool of a generic solution to reduce the community noise along railway lines.

  • Until now, environmental problem has become more and more serious, and acoustic noise is one of environmental pollutions. For many years, ANC(Active Noise Control) has been made to reduce this noise. In this paper, active silencer using switching method is studied. This silencer is composed of single-phase full bridge inverter to drive cancelling loudspeaker. The inverter is controlled to reduce noise by ramp comparison control method. At the vacuum cleaner, noise control with FFCS(Feed-Forward Control Structure) is applied and geometric arrangement is replaced to avoid unstability of FFCS.

  • Vehicles are exhausting various environmental pollutions such as exhaust gas, noise, and so on. This study investigates only noise problems by vehicles, especially the vehicle exhaust noise. It is known that the exhaust noise among those is over 20% of vehicle noise when the vehicle is suddenly accelerated or normally accelerated. In this study, we mainly investigate the exhaust noise of vehicle so that we intend to show the measures to decrease the illegal tuning mufflers and reduce the exhaust noise problems. In the conclusion, we suggest the new appropriate standard to control the tuning mufflers and reduce the exhaust noise induced by vehicles.

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the characteristics and quantity of the noise reduction by pipe material, wrapped pipe with glass wool and installed pipe height The characteristics of noise emission from drain-pipes is as follows. The noise reduction pipe in PVC can reduce noise levels in 7-10㏈ and the cast-iron pipe can reduce in 14㏈compared with the normal PVC pipe. In these days, the glass wool was used for preventing the burst and the noise reduction. But the glass wool for wrapping pipe is not effective to the noise reduction. The characteristics of noise emission from various installed pipe height were measured As the ceiling space of the remodeled building was raised, the noise level was troubled by increasing of the vertical pipe length.

  • There are a lot of different types of noise from construction site and it depends on construction stage, equipment type and number of operating equipments. The problem is that the almost noise from construction site is high level and some kinds of noise levels are over 100 dB. In addition, if construction site is located in downtown, there are a few options to reduce noise level. Therefore several site mitigation plans were developed to reduce different types of construction noises such as breaker work, gang form and asphalt saw. They were applied in site and evaluated noise reduction performance. The test result of site insertion loss was between 4~8 dB depends on the equipment and type of work.

  • In a wheel loader, the tail-pipe is installed at the exhaust tube of muffler for the reduction of exhaust noise and the cooling of engine room however, the cabin noise level can be largely increased due to the tail-pipe. In this paper, to grasp and reduce the cabin noise, a series of noise and vibration tests were carried out in addition to numerical simulations. As a result, the transmission path of exhaust noise toward the cabin was exactly identified and the improved shape of tail pipe, that can reduce the cabin noise, was derived through various numerical simulations and real tests.

다구찌 기법을 이용한 냉장고의 구조진동음 저감 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Structure-borne Noise Reduction of Refrigerators Using Taguchi Method)

  • In this work, the mechanism of structure-borne noise resulting from vibration of a compressor for a refrigerator is experimentally analyzed and an effective method is proposed to reduce the noise. Firstly, the emission noise, when the compressor is turned on and off, is measured and analyzed to identify the generation mechanism of structure-borne noise. And the acceleration on the outer wall of the refrigerator is also analyzed to identify the distribution of vibration. Secondly, an effective design method to reduce the noise is suggested by using the finite element analysis and Taguchi method. Consequently an optimal design of the refrigerator, which has lower noise, is obtained and then its performance and validity are verified through the analysis and test.
