Objectives : The purpose of this study is to establish literatural evidence about thermotherapy and cryotherapy for Korean medicine through literatural review. Methods : Applicable paragraphs which were related to the thermotherapy and cryotherapy of cutaneous and muscle meridian were phrased from in "Yibujicheng(醫部集成) and "Dongyibaojian(東醫寶鑑)" where were archiving of Oriental or Korean medicine literatures. Searched paragraphs were analysed for establishing historical and theoretical bases of thermotherapy and cryotherapy in Korean medicine. Results : Thermotherapy of cutaneous and muscle meridian(經皮經筋溫熱療法) such as hot pack, warm water therapy, paraffin bath, ultrasound is originated from yu(慰) warm water(溫水) hot water(熱水). Matching indications are various pain conditions(caused by coldness(寒), hard-work(僗若), extravasated blood(瘀血), inflammatory skin disease, frostbite and several internal diseases. It also treats gynecological diseases and facial palsy. Diathermic therapy on acupuncture points(穴位照射溫熱療法) such as infra-red, microwave, shortwave is originated from huolu(火爐), wenlu(溫爐), xianglu(香爐), lamp light(燈火). Its objective is to improve the effects of herb medicine by aiding sweating or to treat the residual symptoms of fever disease or to care skin disease and pain from bone fracture, contusion. Cryotherapy of cutaneous and muscle meridian(經皮經筋溫寒冷療法) such as ice pack, ice spray, iced whirpool, cool water bath is originated from lengfu(冷敷), lengtie(冷貼), lengshiyu(冷石熨). Matching indications are contusions, animal bite injury, corn(肉刺) and (淋病), eye disease, nasal bleeding, hemorrhoid, inflammatory skin disease and chicken pox. Conclusions : Thermotherapy and cryotherapy of cutaneous and muscle meridian(經皮經筋溫冷療法) are the treatments which were used in Korean medicine from the ancient Korean medicine. As scientific equipments were originated from yu(慰), huolu(火爐), wenlu(溫爐), xianglu(香爐), lamp light(燈火). lengfu(冷敷), lengtie(冷貼), lengshiyu(冷石熨). It can be said that these are elements of Korean medicine. More rigorous studies are needed to establish clinical evidence about not only thermotherapy and cryotherapy but also the other physiotherapy of Korean medicine.

The various colors and transparency of DSC and operability unrelated with directions greatly expand the use of BIPV, as a multi-functional composite of module. Therefore the possibility of DSC BIPV is examined by the case study and the analysis and then its applicability is examined. Most of the DSC BIPVs, which are found through a total of six case studies and analyzes in Korea and abroad, are mainly implemented with window glass and shading devices. This is related to the DSC transparency property. Improvements are due to the irritation of the eye due to the color of the red module. Therefore, it is important to take into account the color of the BIPV window depending on the use of the building and the room. Meanwhile, some colors of application model may stimulate eyes and such colors should be considered by use of buildings and rooms in the application of BIPV window. DSC BIPV has prospective diffusibility with the development of flexible module for the application of building surface.

Namdaemun Market is located in the heart of history and has the volume and the budget for nearly half of the total Namdaemun. But it has been undergoing the crisis of stagnation without reviving the merit of only the 'jewelry' wholesale industrial cluster in the nation. The purposes of this study were that analyzed the status and design of jewelry in Namdaemun and identified the characteristics of successful domestic jewelery brands and then the revitalized the way of the Namdaemun jewelry industry. Problems being currently facing the Namdaemun jewelry shopping are most likely caused by products' design did not respond to changes quickly, while China's jewelry products are in leaps of the quality and the affordable jewelry market in Korea has lost the large number of the customers by china's cheap jewelry products. The most feature of successful domestic jewelry companies, Red Eye, Naughty Cat and Jackie Moon. put the most effort to unique design development and then constantly develope new designs to meet the diverse needs of consumers. It is a conclusion that the Namdaemun jewelry market need to produced under the name of brand not by the traditional whole sale market style. Development unique jewelry brand requires a high-end commercial strategy of the logo, packaging and interior. The high-end quality require for the advanced designs as well as the study of new materials needed for the advanced materials.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to review the chinese published papers on cauterization of traditional chinese medicine. Methods : We searched chinese published papers from 1958 until May 2017 via CNKI(China National Knowledge Infrastructure) with the keyword "cauterization". We analyzed the studies covered cauterization medical treatment, and classified them by 5 categories including periods, type of study, treatment site, experiment target site, and cauterizing method. Results : We reviewed 112 chinese papers which include 10 Original articles, 43 Review articles, and 59 Case reports. Examining yearly distributions, we can see that research on cauterization is becoming more active than in the past. In classification of 93 clinical studies by treatment site, the number of research on Tonsillitis accounts for almost half(43 studies), followed by Sore throat(14 studies). Among 10 experimental studies, Eye is the most frequently targeted organ which was used to study high intra-ocular pressure(5 studies), and retinal ganglion cell(2 studies). Lastly, there are various methods of cauterization used in papers: Branding iron(54 studies), and Red-hot needle(24 studies) are two major heating methods. Conclusions : This analysis shows that studies on the application of cauterization have been actively conducted in China these days. Furthermore, up-to-date cauterizing methods have been developed such as electric type and microwave type beyond traditional ways. We expect this article will encourage further research on cauterization in order to apply it to a variety of diseases. Then, it could become one of new effective medical treatments in Korean medicine.

Recently, various techniques for face detection are studied, but most of them still have problems on processing in real-time. Therefore, in this paper, we propose novel techniques for real-time detection of human faces in sequential images using motion and chroma information. First, background model is used to find a moving area. In this procmoving area. edure, intensity values for reference images are averaged, then skin-color are detected in We use HCr color-space model and adaptive threshold method for detection. Second, binary image labeling is applied to acquire candidate regions for faces. Candidates for mouth and eyes on a face are obtained using differences between green(G) and blue(B), intensity(I) and chroma-red(Cr) value. We also considered distances between eye points and mouth on a face. Experimental results show effectiveness of real-time detection for human faces in sequential images.

This study aims to develop contemporary fashion designs from the unique Yao minority costumes and to explore the possibility of developing creative designs by using knitting materials. The research method is based on the cultural clothing and costumes of the Chinese ethnic minority, as well as literature concerning the Yao costumes and photo data to investigate the cultural background and characteristics apparent in Yao costumes. The overall design characteristics of Yao costumes are as follows. First, the shape of Yao costumes are divided into straight-lined short tops with pleated skirts or shorts, or cardigan tops with pants and aprons, or long shirts, pants, and a belt. Each variant of tribal clothing is different. Second, the colors used are mainly black or dark blue, and these are accented by other colors, such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and white. Third, the clothing patterns are mainly in plant, animal, natural, geometric, and human, etc. motifs. The most common patterns in daily life are the patterns using geometric shapes, plants, or animals. Using the background of the unique lifestyles of the Yao ethnic minority, this study applied hand knitting and jacquard techniques for a knit fashion design. In order to develop traditional patterns, Yao patterns were entered into an Illustrator and SDS-ONE APEX3-4 was used for simulation. Using wool fibers as the raw material; the knitting machine used a Bird's eye Jacquard technique-10GG. The results of this research and design work were as follows. First, the knitted clothing design using Yao clothing elements has significance for the development and flexible use of ethnic elements in contemporary creative design. Second, the straight cut design using hand-knitted and jacquard-knit fabrics can minimize waste materials and provide more possibilities for sustainable design development. Third, it provides additional methods for the combination of hand-knitting and jacquard knitting fashion design.

Consumers tend to feel concern about disclosure of personal information and, at the same time, to avoid inconvenience of procedural complexity caused by the privacy protections. The purpose of current paper is to investigate relationships between opt-in procedural complexity and shopping behavior using smart phones, moderating by the amount of visual attentions using eyetrackers. Therefore, we created a virtual mobile Web-site in which the complexity of opt-in procedures in our experiment is manipulated and measured. Also, we measured the dwell-time of area of interest using SMI-RED 250 instrument for tracking the real eye movement. Results indicated that the levels of procedural complexity are related to repurchase, indicating a moderating effect of the amount of visual attentions. Finally, we discussed several theoretical and practical implications of management for mobile commerce.

A high redshift quasar is useful to investigate the early part of our universe. Since they are one of the brightest objects in the early universe, they can provide us with clues of the growth of super massive black holes and the early metal enrichment history. To discover the high redshift quasars, we designed a survey of wide area and moderate depth; Infrared Medium-deep Survey (IMS), a J-band imaging survey of ~200 $deg^2$ area where the multi-wavelength data sets exist. To obtain the J-band data, we are using the United Kingdom Infra-Red Telescope (UKIRT), and so far we have covered ~20 $deg^2$ with Y- or J-bands over three observing runs during 2009. We used color-color diagrams of multi-wavelength bands including i, z, Y, J, K, $3.6{\mu}m$ and $4.5{\mu}m$ to select high redshift quasars. The major challenge in the selection is many M/L/T dwarfs, low redshift galaxies, and instrumental defects that can be mistaken as a high redshift quasar. We describe how such contaminating sources can be excluded by adopting multiple color-color diagrams and eye-ball inspections. So far, our selection reveals two quasar candidates at z~7.

There is something common between the Korean female Kukkuk and the Japanese Takarazuka Revue in that actors are all females and love is the main theme. Some of the females should play men's roles, so they are described as ideal men and are more manly than real men, and female audiences are attracted by them. It is hard for actresses to play men's roles-they have to stretch open their shoulders, walk with long steps and produce a deep voice. They put on a makeup a little exaggeratedly to perfectly disguise themselves as men and express strong images-some red tone makeup on their face, thick eyebrows with their ends upward, thick eye lines to make eyes seem bigger and stronger, and thick side whiskers. On the contrary, a makeup for female characters is softer to highlight femininity with thin penciled hair parted and braided on the sides of the face. The Takarazuka Revue's students are divided into male characters and female ones from the regular course of music schools, and they select their roles in consideration of their height and range of voice, mainly based on their wish. In case of male characters, they need a long career and verification of ability to be the best. Females playing men's roles and showing their manliness are violation of a social custom standardizing the character of males and females and are the reverse of roles expected by a society or a culture. A world experienced by these plays is a kind of revolt breaking the taboo of the patriarchal system.
