노인 뇌졸중 질환자의 재활에 대한 개념분석 (Concept Analysis of the Rehabilitation in Elderly with Stroke Disease)

  • Purpose: The goal of this study was to define and clarify the concept of 'rehabilitation' of stroke patients in the elderly. Method: For analyzing the concept of rehabilitation, this study used the hybrid model, which involves an in depth interview six stroke patients. Result: The concept of rehabilitation of patients with a stroke condition can be categorized with two dimensions; overcoming, new recovery aspects. Besides, three attributes and twelve indicators were analyzed. The concept of rehabilitation of patients with a stroke condition can be expressed as one of the following processes; It can be said that it is a process of accepting and overcoming one's physical limitations in order to overcome, and to grow resilience by making a leap from crisis to recovery with inner enforcement in dimension of new recovery. Conclusion: The rehabilitation is important for stroke conditioned patients in order to control their disease in the long term. The attributes and indicators drawn by this study could be used for tool development and useful resources of rehabilitation competence for stroke conditioned patients.

지역특성을 반영한 지진손실평가 (Earthquake Loss Estimation Including Regional Characteristics)

  • When an earthquake occurs, the severity of damage is determined by natural factors such as the magnitude of the earthquake, the epicenter distance, soil properties, and type of the structures in the affected area, as well as the socio-economic factors such as the population, disaster prevention measures, and economic power of the community. This study evaluated the direct economic loss due to building damage and the community's recovery ability. Building damage was estimated using fragility functions due to the design earthquake by the seismic design code. The usage of the building was determined from the information in the building registrar. Direct economic loss was evaluated using the standard unit price and estimated building damage. The standard unit price was obtained from the Korean Real Estate Board. The community's recovery capacity was calculated using nine indicators selected from regional statistical data. After appropriate normalization and factor analysis, the recovery ability score was calculated through relative evaluation with neighboring cities.

Disaster Cooperation Strategies between North and South Korea based on Sendai Framework

  • TThe cooperation on disaster prevention between the two Koreas has been mostly focused on cooperation at the recovery stage, such as emergency relief supplies and equipment support. This study aims to articulate future practical development plans by analyzing disaster cooperation between North and South Korea in accordance with the changing paradigm of international disaster cooperation. Considering the specificity of inter-Korean cooperation, the Framework for Inter-Korean Disaster Prevention Cooperation was established centering on the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. The framework consists of understanding and sharing disaster risks, building back better, strengthening community resilience, and supporting regional disaster action plans for continuous action. Inter-Korean disaster prevention cooperation requires sharing information about North Korean disasters. It is necessary to accurately identify and support social vulnerability to North Korean disasters. Above all, it is supporting the development of disaster action plans from a humanitarian perspective needs. A medium-to-long term resilience reinforcement plan that North Korea can resolve on its own is also needed. Since North Korea is also deeply interested in international disaster cooperation, it should be based on the direction of the Sendai Framework. Considering the uniqueness of inter-Korean cooperation, a path for North Korea to actively participate in international disaster cooperation should be established.

신불산 고산습지 보호지역 저서성 대형무척추동물의 군집특성 및 변화상 연구 (A Study on the Community Characteristics and Changes of Benthic Macroinvertebrates in the Conservation Area of the Shinbulsan Wetland)

  • The Shinbulsan wetland, located in Yangsan-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea, was designated as a conservation area in 2004. The area was monitored from 2015 to 2019 to investigate the community characteristics and changes of benthic macroinvertebrates. Between 2015 and 2016, several insects of the orders Ephemeroptera, Odonata, and Hemiptera were identified, but their numbers decreased significantly in 2017 and 2018 following the loss and recovery of the moor owing to drought. During this period, there were relatively more insects of the order Diptera. Within this order, three functional feeding groups, gathering-collectors, plant-piercers, and predators were investigated. Predator species were the most abundant (83.3%), whereas gathering-collectors accounted for the largest proportion of individual insects (50.5%). Between 2015 and 2016, when the moors were stable, groups I and III had the highest community stability. After 2017, when the moors had dried up, group III effectively disappeared because of its lower relative resistance and resilience, and only taxa belonging to group I remained. The results of this study indicate that benthic macroinvertebrates that adapt early during moor formation inhabit the Shinbulsan wetland.

MPEG-2 동영상 표준방식에 대한 채널 오차의 검출 및 은폐 기법 (Channel Error Detwction and Concealment Technqiues for the MPEG-2 Video Standard)

  • In this paper, channel error characteristics are investigated to alleviate the channel error propagation problem of the digital TV transmission systems. First, error propagation problems, which are mainly caused by the inter-frame dependancy and variable length coding of the MPEG-2 baseline encoder, are intensively analyzed. Next, existing channel resilient schemes are systematically classified into two kinds of schemes; one for the encoder and the other for the decoder. By comparing the performance and implementation cost, the encoder side schemes, such as error localization, layered coding, error resilience bit stream generation techniques, are described in this paper. Also, in an effort to consider the parcticality of the real transmission situation, an efficient error detection scheme for a decoder system is proposed by employing a priori information of the bit stream syntas, checking the encoding conditions at the encoder stage, and exploiting the statistics of the image itself. Finally, subsequent error concealment technique based on the DCT coefficient recovery algorithm is adopted to evaluate the performance of the proposed error resilience technique. The computer simulation results show that the quality of the received image is significantly improved when the bit error rate is as high as 10$^{-5}$ .

A Study on the Prevention of Appropriate Store and Gentrification to Restore the Function of the Commercial District in the Original City

  • Purpose: We would like to identify the appropriate size of stores in the commercial district suitable for the era of low growth. In addition, it is intended to present alternatives to prevent gentrification along with measures to revitalize commercial districts according to the selection of appropriate stores. Research design, data and methodology: The importance and commercial district usage patterns were identified through surveys by consumers and sellers. the demand and size of the commercial area were calculated based on the floating population and resident registration population. In addition, based on this, through metric analysis, the importance of the business district activation plan and what important matters can prevent gentrification were analyzed. Result: In this the study, 555 stores are currently operating in the target area, but it is seen as a commercial district with a scale that can operate 136 stores and 938 stores. In addition, it was analyzed that the Commercial Lease Protection Act needs to be strengthened to prevent gentrification. Conclusions: Due to the nature of small and medium-sized cities in Korea, commercial districts that have once lost their resilience must take much effort to find vitality. It is believed that local commercial districts will have resilience when diagnosis and recovery measures are adequately presented.

청소년의 학교폭력노출 유형에 따른 회복과 적응을 위한 요인 간의 종단적 관계 분석: 사회적지지와 회복탄력성을 중심으로 (Analysis of the Longitudinal Relationship between Recovery and Adaptation Factors According to Types of School Violence Exposure in Youth: Focusing on Resilience and Social Support)

  • 본 연구는 서울교육종단연구(SELS) 자료 중 3차 년도(2012년)에 학교폭력 가해 경험과 피해 경험을 보고한 초등학교 6학년 1,137명의 데이터를 이용하여, 학교폭력노출 청소년 유형(가해, 피해, 중복) 별 회복탄력성과 사회적지지의 종단적인 관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 자기회귀교차지연모형으로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초 6(2012), 중2(2014), 고1(2016)의 세 시점에서의 학교폭력노출청소년의 회복탄력성과 사회적지지의 자기회귀 계수를 측정한 결과, 학교폭력노출의 모든 유형에서 이전 시점의 회복탄력성과 사회적지지가 다음 시점의 회복탄력성과 사회적지지에 정적을 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 이전 시점의 회복탄력성/사회적지지에 대한 지각이 다음 시점의 회복탄력성/사회적지지에 대한 지각을 매우 안정적으로 예측하였다. 둘째, 회복탄력성과 사회적지지의 교차지연효과의 경우, 이전 시점의 사회적지지가 다음 시점의 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향은 피해 경험의 경우에만 유의하게 정적인 영향을 미쳤고 가해 집단과 중복 경험 집단의 경우에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못했다. 특히, 세 번째 연구 결과로, 회복탄력성에서 사회적지지로의 반대 경로에서는 가해 경험과 피해 경험의 경우에 이전 시점의 회복탄력성이 다음 시점의 사회적지지에 부적으로 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 사회적지지가 회복탄력성의 보호요인이라는 그동안의 횡단적 연구 결과를 종단적인 관점으로 보완하여, 학교폭력 가해 집단과 피해 집단에서 회복탄력성을 높게 지각하고 있는 청소년들의 경우에는 오히려 사회적지지에 대해 낮게 지각할 가능성이 있다는 것을 본 연구에서 새롭게 도출해냈다는 데 그 의의가 있다. 최종적으로, 본 연구 결과를 통하여 회복탄력성과 사회적지지의 종단적 관계와 본 연구의 한계를 논하고 추후연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

기초교양필수 과목인 스크래치와 파이썬 프로그래밍 과목 수강생의 회복탄력성 분석 (The Analysis of Resilience of Programming Class' Students for Basic Liberal Arts)

  • 최근 각 대학에서 소프트웨어교육을 강조하여 교양과목에 많이 편성하고 있다. 하지만 학생들은 프로그래밍 학습을 어려워하거나 프로그래밍 학습 동기가 부족하거나 배우려고 하는 의욕이 없는 경우가 많다. 본 연구에서 회복탄력성을 알아보고자 하는 이유는 프로그래밍 학습의 실패를 극복하여 포기하지 않고 다시 학습을 진행할 수 있는 회복하는 힘을 가질 수 있도록 지도하기 위함이다. 본 연구에서는 스크래치를 학습하는 학생 집단과 파이썬을 학습하는 학생 집단을 대상으로 회복탄력성 사전-사후 검사를 진행하였다. 연구결과로는 스크래치는 학생들이 다소 쉽게 받아들이고 열심히 하려는 모습을 보였지만, 파이썬은 상대적으로 스크래치보다 어려움이 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통하여 프로그래밍 학습을 지속할 수 있는 요인을 파악하는데 도움이 될 것이라고 기대한다.

Climate-instigated disparities in supply and demand constituents of agricultural reservoirs for paddy-growing regions

  • Agricultural reservoirs are critical water resources structures to ensure continuous water supplies for rice cultivation in Korea. Climate change has increased the risk of reservoir failure by exacerbating discrepancies in upstream runoff generation, downstream irrigation water demands, and evaporation losses. In this study, the variations in water balance components of 400 major reservoirs during 1973-2017 were examined to identify the reservoirs with reliable storage capacities and resilience. A conceptual lumped hydrological model was used to transform the incident rainfall into the inflows entering the reservoirs and the paddy water balance model was used to estimate the irrigation water demand. Historical climate data analysis showed a sharp warming gradient during the last 45 years that was particularly evident in the central and southern regions of the country, which were also the main agricultural areas with high reservoir density. We noted a country-wide progressive increase in average annual cumulative rainfall, but the forcing mechanism of the rainfall increment and its spatial-temporal trends were not fully understood. Climate warming resulted in a significant increase in irrigation water demand, while heavy rains increased runoff generation in the reservoir watersheds. Most reservoirs had reliable storage capacities to meet the demands of a 10-year return frequency drought but the resilience of reservoirs gradually declined over time. This suggests that the recovery time of reservoirs from the failure state had increased which also signifies that the duration of the dry season has been prolonged while the wet season has become shorter and/or more intense. The watershed-irrigated area ratio (W-Iratio) was critical and the results showed that a slight disruption in reservoir water balance under the influence of future climate change would seriously compromise the performance of reservoirs with W-Iratio< 5.

지역사회 재난회복력 구성요소와 재난관리정책 결정요인 분석 (A Comparative Study on the Importance of the Components of the Community Disaster Resilience on Disaster Response)

  • 연구목적: 사실 재난대응을 잘하기 위해서는 발생한 재난에 대한 철저한 분석과 평가로 자연스럽게 완화 및 대비가 이루어져야 했어야 함에도 불구하고 "대응 ${\rightarrow}$ 복구 ${\rightarrow}$ 완화 ${\rightarrow}$ 대비${\rightarrow}$ ${\ldots}$"가 선(善)순환적으로 작동되지 않아 분절적 재난관리가 반복되었다. 연구방법: 여러 다각적인 연구방법 및 분석을 통해 결국 사회재난 중심 재난관리체제인 우리나라에서 지역사회의 재난회복력을 높이기 위해서는 연구결과: (1) "시민 안전교육 및 훈련" (2) "시민대상 실시간 재난정보제공 및 공유" (3) "재난정보 및 경보시스템 네트워크(연결망) 구축" (4) "재난분석과 평가(위험성 및 취약성 평가)" (5) "재난완화계획"(6) "정부 간(間) 협조체계 구축" 등 주요 구성요소가 재난관리정책에 구체적으로 반영되어 실현되어야 함을 검증하였다. 결론: 이제는 더 이상 악(惡)순환적 또는 단절적 재난관리가 아닌 선(善)순환적 연결된 재난관리가 되어야 한다. 재난관리를 더 잘하기 위해서는 완화 및 대비 영역에서 재난대응에 영향을 주는 재난회복력 주요 구성요소가 재난관리의 선(善)순환적인 연결고리에 작동할 수 있도록 재난관리정책에 우선적으로 반영되어야 할 것이다.
