코로나19(COVID-19) 이후 뷰티학과 전문대 학생들의 회복탄력성과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 그릿(Grit)의 매개 효과 (Mediating Effect of Grit in the Relationship between Resilience and University Life Adaptation of College Students Majoring in Beauty after COVID-19)

  • This study investigates the effect of recovery elasticity of beauty college students on university life adaptation during COVID-19. Further, the mediating effect of grit in relation to recovery elasticity and university life adaptation is analyzed. Survey data of 223 students (female: 192; male: 31) were collected for multiple and intermediate regression analyses using SPSS 24.0. The results reveal a static correlation between the lower factors of resilience, glittery, and adaptation to college life and that the resilience of junior college students in the beauty department had a static effect on grit and their adaptation to college life. Passion, a subordinate factor of grit, is mediated by the effect of grit on the relationship between resilience and adaptation to university life. However, perseverance, another subordinate factor of grit, did not have any such mediating effect. These results confirm the importance of grit, particularly passion, for resilience and adaptation to college life. It was confirmed that resilience was due to college life adaptation of beauty department students, and it was confirmed that passion, a sub-factor of grit, also had a mediating effect. Therefore, it is judged that resilience induces physical and mental adaptation, interpersonal adaptation, and academic adaptation necessary for college life, and works in many ways to improve the quality of life of beauty department junior college students. Instructors should consider developing educational programs for improving recovery elasticity and grit to help students better adapt to university life.

긍정심리치료 프로그램이 지역사회 조현병 대상자의 긍정정서, 대인관계, 극복력 및 정신건강회복에 미치는 효과 (Effects of a Positive Psychotherapy Program on Positive Affect, Interpersonal Relations, Resilience, and Mental Health Recovery in Community-Dwelling People with Schizophrenia)

  • Purpose: Recently, the interest in positive psychotherapy is growing, which can help to encourage positive relationships and develop strengths of people. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of a positive psychotherapy program on positive affect, interpersonal relations, resilience, and mental health recovery in community-dwelling people with schizophrenia. Methods: The research was conducted using a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. A total of 57 adults with schizophrenia participated in this study. The study participants in experimental group received a positive psychotherapy program (n=28) and the participants in control group received only the usual treatment in community centers (n=29). The positive psychotherapy program was provided for 5 weeks (of 10 sessions, held twice/week, for 60 minutes). The study outcomes included positive affect, interpersonal relations, resilience, and mental health recovery. The collected data were analyzed using repeated measures ANOVA for examining study hypothesis. Results: Results showed that interpersonal relations (F=11.83, p=.001) and resilience (F=9.62, p=.003) significantly increased in the experimental group compared to the control group. Although experimental group showed a slight increase in positive affect, it was not significant. Conclusion: The study findings confirm that the positive psychotherapy program is effective for improving interpersonal relations and resilience of community-dwelling people with schizophrenia. Based on the findings, we believe that the positive psychotherapy program would be acceptable and helpful to improve recovery of mental health in schizophrenia.

알코올중독자의 단주의지와 회복에 관한 연구 -적응유연성의 매개효과 검증- (Effect of Abstinence efficacy on Recovery Among Alcoholics -Focused on the Mediating Effect of Resilience-)

  • 알코올 중독의 패러다임이 최근에는 단주에서 회복으로 옮겨지고 있다. 본 연구는 알코올 중독자의 단주의지, 적응유연성, 회복간의 관계에 대한 모형을 가정하고 검증하기 위한 연구로, 205명의 조사 자료를 분석하였다. 단주의지를 독립변수, 적응유연성을 매개변수, 회복을 종속변수로 하여 모형을 구성하였으며, 가설분석을 위해 AMOS 7.0을 활용하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 단주의지와 회복사이에 적응유연성의 매개효과에 대해 독립변수의 직접경로가 포함된 부분매개모형의 적합도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 단주의지와 적응유연성의 회복에 대한 직접 효과가 검증되었다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 알코올 중독자의 회복을 위한 프로그램 구성에 적응유연성을 강조하는 근거로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

심혈관질환용 회복력(Cardiovascular Disease Resilience) 측정도구 개발 및 평가 (Development of a Cardiovascular Disease Resilience Scale)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a Cardiovascular Disease Resilience (CDR) scale to evaluate disease specific resilience for recovery. Methods: The study was conducted as follows: items generation, and test of validity and reliability. Items were developed via literature review, review of instruments, and data acquired from the interviews. In order to test validity and reliability, seven panels of experts reviewed the preliminary questionnaire and then data were collected from 550 cardiovascular disease patients. Factor analysis, Pearson correlation, ANOVA, and Cronbach's alpha were used to analyze the data. Results: In the preliminary stage, forty-four items were generated. A reduction to 40 items was accomplished through content validity analysis. Factor analysis extracted 7 factors with a total of 25 items. The CDR items were moderately correlated with the subscales of the CD-RISC (Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale) and the mean score of CDR was associated with quality of life measured with CD-QOL (Cardiovascular Disease Quality of Life). Cronbach's ${\alpha}$=.84. Conclusion: Content validity, construct validity, criterion validity, and reliability of the CDR were established. The CDR is a reliable and valid instrument which the resilience of cardiovascular disease specific recovery state can be evaluated.

도시침수 시 도로네트워크가 도시회복도에 미치는 영향 분석 (The Effect of Road Networks on Urban Resilience in Flooding)

  • 홍수는 전 세계적으로 가장 빈번한 자연재해 중 하나로, 국내의 경우 지구온난화의 진행, 불투수면적의 증가, 기존 시가지 내 치수시설 확충의 한계 등 복합적인 요인으로 인하여 도시침수 발생 확률은 크게 증가하고 있다. 하지만 도시침수 방지를 위한 설계홍수량의 상향 및 대규모 토목공사는 사회·경제적으로 전 국민적인 동의를 받기 어렵다. 따라서 자연재해에 대해 지역공동체가 사회·경제적으로 감당 가능한 수준으로 대비를 하되, 신속한 복구를 통해 재해 이후 원래의 상태로 되돌아가는 능력인 회복도의 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 이에 도시회복도에 관한 다양한 연구가 수행되어지고 있지만 도시의 필수적인 서비스를 제공하는 라이프라인과 연관된 회복도 측정법은 미비한 상황이다. 특히 라이프라인 중 도로네트워크는 자연재해 발생 시 복구자원 수송과 신속한 복구를 진행하기 위한 중요한 시설인 만큼 도로네트워크는 도시의 회복도를 측정할 때 반드시 고려해야하는 주요 요소이다. 따라서 본 연구는 회복도 특성 및 도로네트워크 기반의 회복도 평가법을 제시하고 도로네트워크가 도시회복도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다.

직무 스트레스와 회복탄력성이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 요인 (A Study on the Factors that Job Stress and Resilience influence Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment)

  • 본 연구는 조직에서의 직무 스트레스와 회복탄력성이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하는데 있다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 바탕으로 설문 척도를 개발하고, S사의 영업사원을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과, 직무 스트레스가 직무만족에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 직무스트레스가 회복탄력성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 회복탄력성이 직무만족과 조직몰입에 영향을 미치며, 직무만족이 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 직무스트레스가 조직몰입에 유의한 영향을 미친다는 가설은 기각되었다. 또한 회복탄력성은 직무스트레스와 직무만족과 조직몰입 간의 관계를 매개하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 조직에서 조직구성원들의 스트레스 관리와 더불어 회복탄력성을 높일 수 있는 실무적 차원의 다양한 방안에 대한 가이드라인으로 활용할 것으로 기대한다.

Effects of disturbance timing on community recovery in an intertidal habitat of a Korean rocky shore

  • Intertidal community recovery and resilience were investigated with quantitative and qualitative perspectives as a function of disturbance timing. The study was conducted in a lower intertidal rock bed of the southern coast of South Korea. Six replicates of artificial disturbance of a $50cm{\times}50cm$ area were made by clearing all visible organisms on the rocky substrate in four seasons. Each of the seasonally cleared plots was monitored until the percent cover data reached the control plot level. There was a significant difference among disturbance timing during the recovery process in terms of speed and community components. After disturbances occurred, Ulva pertusa selectively preoccupied empty spaces quickly (in 2-4 months) and strongly (50-90%) in all plots except for the summer plots where non-Ulva species dominated throughout the recovery period. U. pertusa acted as a very important biological variable that determined the quantitative and qualitative recovery capability of a community. The qualitative recovery of communities was rapid in summer plots where U. pertusa did not recruit and the community recovery rate was the lowest in winter plots where U. pertusa was highly recruited with a long duration of distribution. In this study, U. pertusa was a pioneer species while being a dominant species and acted as a clearly negative element in the process of qualitative recovery after disturbance. However, the negative effect of U. pertusa did not occur in summer plots, indicating that disturbance timing should be considered as a parameter in understanding intertidal community resilience in temperate regions with four distinct seasons.

구조물의 회복탄력성 기반 성능평가법에 대한 고찰 및 적용 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Resilience-Based Performance Evaluation Method of Structures and Their Application Plan)

  • The resilience performance evaluation method of a structure can evaluate the ability to recover after an earthquake disaster, and this study deals with the consideration and introduction of the resilience performance evaluation method. The resilience evaluation method can be expressed as a quantified number by constructing a loss estimation model and a recovery evaluation model. The recovery evaluation model should consider downtime in addition to the repair time, and the loss estimation model should consider not only direct loss to structures and non-structures, but also indirect loss due to functional loss of the building. In addition, to build a loss estimation model, the structure should be simplified to perform an efficient analysis. Therefore, in this study, the equivalent terminal induction system proposed cantilever-type and rahmen-type SDOF, and it is evaluated somewhat conservatively compared to the example structure, and it is judged that there is a need to improve the hysteresis characteristics by applying the stiffness reduction factor of the SDOF model.

Ecological resilience of soil oribatid mite communities after the fire disturbance

  • This study investigated the impact of the fire disturbance and the pattern of recovery of soil dwelling oribatid mite communities with respect to the resilience from the fire disturbance. Oribatid mites are important decomposer animals of plant debris in soil with the feeding habits of saprophagy and mycophagy. Massive wild fire reduced soil oribatid mite abundance and diversity. The impact varied relative to the intensity of the disturbance. The proportion of the species common to the non-disturbed natural site increased as the time after the disturbance elapsed, which implying some degree of naturalness occurring in reorganization phase of the oribatid mite community. From the sites with different degree of fire impact, we found higher diversity in intermediately disturbed sites than in severely disturbed or non-disturbed site, supporting the intermediate disturbance hypothesis. Also this study showed that with differential degree of disturbance plots, resilience pattern after the disturbance can be explored even with shorter period research relative to the ecological succession of community.

Basic Research on 3D Cultural Heritage Packaging Technology Using Thermoplastic Polyurethane Elastomers

  • This study investigated mechanical property changes by measuring compression factors, resilience, and compressive strength according to packaging pattern and filling rate to identify the applicability of cultural heritage packaging using thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers (TPU). Research results indicate that the cross-shaped 3D pattern showed the best resilience when the internal filling rate was 20%, while the octet pattern was the best when the filling rate was either 40 and 60%. The octet pattern had the best mechanical properties and stability with resistance capacities of 20.79 kgf/cm2, 40.40 kgf/cm2, and 82.23 kgf/cm2 at 38%, 39%, and 40% recovery speeds, respectively, depending on the internal filling rate (20, 40, 60%). Based on these results, basic data on the applicability, stability, and reliability of 3D cultural heritage packaging materials using TPU materials were obtained.
