단면 분석을 통한 자동차용 리어 서브-프레임 하이드로포밍 부품의 공정 제어 및 설계 (Hydro-forming Process Control and Design Concept of Automotive Rear Sub-frame Components Through Cross Sectional Analysis)

  • 하이드로포밍 기술은 지난 20년간 자동차부품의 적용을 중심으로 비약적인 발전을 해 왔다. 이 기술은 자동차 산업응용분야에 많은 장점을 가지고 있는데 이는 더 나은 구조적 강건성, 부품수 감소에 기인한 비용절감, 재료절약, 무게감소, 낮은 스프링백현상, 개선된 강도, 내구성 향상, 설계 유연성 등이다. 하이드로포밍 부품의 성형성 검토를 위하여 다양한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 기술 등이 발달해 왔으며 이를 통해 성형 가능성을 검토하는 것과 동시에 성형을 위하여 벤딩 공정, 프리포밍공정, 다이클로징 공정 등의 효율적인 공정을 수립하여 하이드로포밍 부품들을 설계하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 하이드로포밍 부품 설계 시 고려사항 중 성형량, 부품의 단면길이(하이드로포밍 프레스 용량에 맞는), 최소 곡률(하이드로포밍 압력에 따른 곡률 영향 평가) 등을 제시하고 실제 자동차용 리어 서브-프레임 부품의 단면분석을 실시함으로써 하이드로포밍 성형을 위한 설계 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 아울러 하이드로포밍 공정인자 중 프리벤딩, 축피딩, 유압 압력, 프레스 하중, 마찰 등의 효과를 분석하여 이들 공정이 직접적인 하이드로포밍 성형에 필요인자 인지 등을 고찰하였다.

  • 본 연구는 분전반 또는 배전반에 설치되는 부스바(busbar)의 절연 피복을 절단하는 커팅기에 관한 기술로써, 연구 결과, 첫째, 커팅기 상부와 하부에 각각 레이저기가 부착된 하우징을 포함하는 커팅유닛 및 프레임의 상부에 설치되고, 부스바의 피복 커팅거리를 조절하는 스토퍼로 구성된 것이 특징인 부스바 피복 레이저 커팅기이다. 둘째, 프레임은, 테이블의 후방 측 단부에 위치하도록 상부에 길이 방향으로 가이드 바가 놓여 설치되고 상부 중간 부분에서 전방과 후방에 각각 수직 상으로 포스트가 설치되며, 전방 포스트의 외측부에 위치하도록 테이블에 커팅 홀이 형성된 것이 특징이다. 셋째, 서포터는, 프레임에 배치된 가이드 바의 상부에 고정 설치되고, 실린더와 지지 판으로 구성된 것이 특징이다. 본 연구의 의미는 작업자의 안전사고를 방지하며, 커팅 작업의 효율성을 높이고, 부스바의 표면에 흠집이 발생하는 것을 방지하는 효과가 있다는데 연구의 의미를 찾을 수 있었다.

정면 오프셋 충돌시 가스튜브를 이용한 차량용 범퍼의 손상성, 수리성에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Damageability and Repairability of the Car Bumper Systems with Gas Tube)

  • The car crash accidents in low speed occurs most frequently. Damage on a conventional bumper after the car accident causes the bumper to get fixed most of time. This study shows how a gas tube bumper reduces a damageability and increase repairability after the car accidents. The 15 km/h 40% offset front and rear crash test recommended by RCAR (Research council for automobile repairs) standard was performed and evaluated damages on the gas tube bumper by the pendulum impact tester. In this study, the gas tube bumper reduces damageability and increases repairability after car crash accidents. In addition, car frame design to apply the gas tube bumper may consider to be changed.

겨드랑둘레선의 최적 프레임 생성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Frame Design of Armscye Circumference)

  • This study aims to develop a highly reproducible, optimal frame design algorithm using variations in the curvature of armscye circumference, which will provide the basics for remodeling the 3D human body shape with the concept of reverse design used to develop total contents for the apparel industry. 1. The results of the experiment proved that ratio value was significantly efficient than absolute value of curvature variation to extract feature points in the armscye circumference 2. For the shoulder(1st and 2nd quadrant) and front armhole(3rd quadrant) parts of the armscye circumference, frame remodeling with the positive point of inflection led to the completion of a highly reproducible frame. 3. Similarly, even for the rear armhole part(4th quadrant) in the armscye circumference, it was found that frame remodeling using the positive maximum point of inflection resulted in highly reproducible body shape with the maximum point of inflection situated within the range of split angles $305^{\circ}{\sim}330^{\circ}$, while frame remodeling using simultaneously the two largest points of inflection including maximum point of inflection led to highly reproducible body shape with the maximum point of inflection out of the range $305^{\circ}{\sim}330^{\circ}$. 4. Based upon the optimal frame design algorithm developed in this study, section-specific feature points in the armscye circumference were extracted depending on the rate of curvature variation and remodeling with spline curves was conducted. The results indicate a remarkably high reproducibility(98.6%) and suggest that the algorithm developed in this study is suitable for human body modeling.

사용후핵연료 차세대관리 종합공정 실증시설내 후면 차폐문의 구조적 안전성 평가 (Structural Safety Analysis Of Rear Door in ACP Hotcell Facility for Spent Fuel Treatment)

  • 한국원자력연구소에서는 현재 사용후핵연료의 효율적인 관리를 위한 차세대관리 종합공정의 실증용 핫셀을 건설중에 있다. 이 핫셀에서 모든 물품의 반출입은 후면 차폐문을 통해 이루어지므로 차폐문의 사용빈도가 매우 크며, 따라서 후면 차폐문의 구조적 안전성 유지가 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 핫셀의 후면 차폐문에 대한 구조적 안전성을 유한요소 해석을 통해 평가하였다. 후면 차폐문을 닫을 때 벽면의 차폐문틀과 충돌하면서 발생하는 구조적 변형 에 대한 안전성 평가를 위해 이 상황을 충돌-접촉 문제로 가정하고 동적 해석을 수행하였다. 또한 충돌시 반력에의한 후면 차폐문의 전도 가능성 및 이동중 갑작스럽게 정지할 경우 관성에 의한 전도 가능성에 대해서도 해석을 수행하였다. 해석 결과를 통해 차폐문과 차폐문틀 모두 충돌에 의한 구조적 변형에 대해 충분히 안전함을 확인할 수 있었으며, 여러 사고 조건에 대해서도 후면 차폐문의 전도가 일어나지 않고 안정성을 유지함을 보였다.

이륜자동차 검사기준 개발 II (Motorcycle Inspection Standards Development II)

  • This paper presents the motorcycle inspection standards of electrical system, frame & body, lights and speedometers. 187 real-world motorcycles are visually and mechanically inspected according to the developed inspection standards. The non-compliance rate of inspection standards of the lights is 23.7% and main causes are damage, tinting, painting and coloration of head-lamp, number plate lamp, front-rear position lights, stop lamp and direction indicators of motorcycles. Also, 28.4% of motorcycles are dropped from the luminous intensity inspection standard. Motorcycle electrical system cannot be visually inspected. The motorcycle inspections standards are improved reflecting 187 cases of real-world motorcycle inspection results.

스테레오 비디오 카메라에 의한 운동물체의 위치추적 (Tracing of Moving Objects by Stereo Video Cameras)

  • While close range photogrammetry has been widely applied for static deformation analysis, video cameras have many characteristics that make them the sensors of choice for dynamic analysis of rapidly changing situations. They also have limitations. The aim of this research is to explore the potential of a video system for monitoring dynamic objects. A pilot system consists of two camcorders, VCR, and PC with frame grabber. To estimte the performance of this system for moving objects, a car was imaged covering several phases when starting to drive. The sequential images of a moving car were recorded on VCR. 15 images per second were digitized in an off-line mode by frame grabber. The image coordinates of targets attached to the rear bumper of a car were acquired by IDRISI, and the object coordinates were derived based on DLT. This research suggests that home video cameras, PC, and photogrammetric principles are promising tools for monitoring of the moving objects and vibrations as well as other time dependent situations.

  • This paper presents a three dimensional modeling and simulations of operation and running of a wheel loader using the ADAMS program. A wheel loader consists of a bucket, a boom, a crank, a front frame, a rear frame, a bucket cylinder, two boom cylinders, two steering cylinders, nine spherical joints, six universal joints, five translation joints, three inline joints, a revolute and a fixed joint. Judging from the actual degrees of freedom of the wheel loader, proper kinematic joints are selected to exclude redundant constraints in the modeling. Through the running simulation over a bump with the three dimensional modeling, the joint reaction forces are calculated.

알루미늄 튜브를 이용한 자동차 리어 서브 프레임의 열간가스 성형해석 (Hot Air Forming Analysis of Automotive Rear Sub Frame using Aluminum Tube)

  • Recently, the hydroforming of high strength aluminum tubes has many studies and applications in manufacturing industry, especially in automotive industry. But high strength aluminum tube has limited expansion capability at most 15% at normal temperature. New manufacturing process, called hot air forming, is introduced to apply aluminum tube to the automotive sub frame components which have complex shape and require high expansion ratio about 40%. The process is carried out at the elevated temperature above $500^{\circ}C$, so numerous material properties and process parameters related to high temperature should be investigated and determined to get a sound product. In this paper, the hot air forming process of automotive sub frame was investigated. The effect of the forming parameters such as the temperature of tool, axial feeding and gas pressure are analyzes by using explicit finite element method.

차량 NVH개선 설계를 위한 샤시 구동계의 Driveline Test Bench 구성 및 CAE 해석 (Modeling and CAE Simulation of Chassis Driveline Test Bench for Vehicle NVH Improvement)

  • The authors have investigated the NVH problems of drive system in full vehicle test. However it is difficult to define the NVH problems of driveline system. Since it is hard to measure the rotating part and it is vague that only the drive system induces the NVH problem. Vibration in a driveline is presented in this paper. In the experiment, the rear sub-frame and propeller shafts and axle were composed and mounted with rubber each other. For applying the vibration input instead of the torsional vibration effect of an engine, the shaker was taken. In particular, torsional vibration due to fluctuating forced vibration excitation across the joint between driveline and rear sub-frame was carefully examined. Accordingly, the joint response was checked from experiments and the FE-simulation using FRF (frequency response function) analysis was performed. All test results were signal processed and validated against numerical simulations. In present study, the new test bench for measuring the vibration signal and simulating the vehicle chassis system was proposed. The modal value and the mode shape of components were analyzed using the CAE model to identify the important components affecting driveline noise and vibration. It could be reached that the simplified test bench could be well established and be used for design guide and development of the vehicle chassis components.
