The aim of this study was to compare and analyse the national players between the winning games and the losing ones by classifying the GPS data measured in the competition. 27 players of Korean national team on field hockey had analysed to collect plenty of data by using GPS system in real time on 16 A-matches for this paper. The result was followed: First, it has revealed that the winning games showed that it had played a lot in the rest of the zone except for zone 1 and zone 5 from zone 1 to zone 6. Second, is has also shown that it had a significant differences into the distance between the winning games and the losing ones. Third, there were no significant differences between Low-speed zone (zone 1 to Zone 3) and High-speed zone (zone 4 to zone 6) into the distance but were a significant differences on the number of high-accelerations in a section of accelerations. Last, in the position-specific, it has shown a significant differences between a distance by the section and the acceleration frequency and the results showed that the difference between the low accelerations and high ones influenced positively related to the performance.
Information supporting system which is based on real-time prediction of currents to be applicable to the sea trial test of ship is developed. In the system, the spatial distribution of currents at specific time and the trends of variability of currents occurring at specific sites are also given as valuable information for sea trial test of ship. In addition, the system has a capability to connect with a GPS which provides information including speed loss of the ship caused by currents on the way of voyage. With information from the sea trial test, the system is also capable of delivering optimum time and pathways by considering calculated speed loss of ship at specific time and its pathway. Having information described as above, the real-time current prediction system supports and provides functions of not only running the test in an efficient way but also providing valuable information which is encouraged to be used during the test by installing at the ship.

The CNS(Car Navigation System) is used more generally in driver aid system than ALV(Auto nomous Land Vehicle) research area. In this paper we developed a new position tracking algorithm for the Global Path Planning in the CNS. In japan, CNS is already well developed and, thesedays they sell CNS products about $400{\sim}500$ thousands per year, and USA and European Communications(EC), too. In Korea, studies of the first generation CNS, which finds current location of a navigating vehicle and displays its location in a Digital-Map with real-time are progressing but still in the beginning step. Therefore a new position tracking algorithm is presented, which reduces vehicle position error dramatically by fusing GPS and dead-reckoning sensors. And the validity of our algorithm is demonstrated by the experimental results with the real car.

In this paper, we design and implement an analytics platform based on bulk cargo DTG data for crackdown on overloaded trucks. DTG(digital tachograph) is a device that stores the driving record in real time; that is, it is a device that records the vehicle driving related data such as GPS, speed, RPM, braking, and moving distance of the vehicle in one second unit. The fast processing of DTG data is essential for finding vehicle driving patterns and analytics. In particular, a big data analytics platform is required for preprocessing and converting large amounts of DTG data. In this paper, we implement a big data analytics framework based on cargo DTG data using Spark, which is an open source-based big data framework for crackdown on overloaded trucks. As the result of implementation, our proposed platform converts real large cargo DTG data sets into GIS data, and these are visualized by a map. It also recommends crackdown points.
The Russian Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS) has been fully recovered since October 2011, and it has been significantly modernized. The recently launched GLONASS 752 was set for successful performance on October 16, 2017 and has resulted in 24-satellite constellation with 22 second-generation (GLONASS-M) satellites, and a third-generation (GLONASS-K) satellite. Therefore, this paper is focused on not only the identified navigation parameters, but also the performance analysis of the project based on its real data received from the studied satellites. It is verified that the 5-11 satellites are available for receiving navigation signal at this time. The obtained values of GDOP, PDOP, HDOP, VDOP, and TDOP are 2.790, 2.424, 1.169, 2.123, and 1.381, noted respectively in standard deviation. In fact, the level of positioning precision is about 1.4m in standard deviation. As a result, the positioning performances of the measured GLONASS and GPS are virtually identical. Therefore, we determine that the GLONASS is expected to be expanded for future applications.

The research on predicting the routes of ships, which constitute the majority of maritime transportation, can detect potential hazards at sea in advance and prevent accidents. Unlike roads, there is no distinct signal system at sea, and traffic management is challenging, making ship route prediction essential for maritime safety. However, the time intervals of the ship route datasets are irregular due to communication disruptions. This study presents a method to adjust the time intervals of data using appropriate interpolation techniques for ship route prediction. Additionally, a deep learning model for predicting ship routes has been developed. This model is an LSTM model that predicts the future GPS coordinates of ships by understanding their movement patterns through real-time route information contained in AIS data. This paper presents a data preprocessing method using linear interpolation and a suitable deep learning model for ship route prediction. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method with an MSE of 0.0131 and an Accuracy of 0.9467.

The process of berthing/deberthing operations for entering/leaving vessels in Busan northern harbor was analyzed and evaluated by using an integrated VTS(vessel traffic service) system installed in the ship training center of Pukyong National University, Busan, Korea. The integrated VTS system used in this study was consisted of ARPA radar, ECDIS(electronic chart display and information system), backup(recording) system, CCTV(closed-circuit television) camera system, gyro-compass, differential GPS receiver, anemometer, AIS(automatic identification system), VHF(very high frequency) communication system, etc. The network of these systems was designed to communicate with each other automatically and to exchange the critical information about the course, speed, position and intended routes of other traffic vessels in the navigational channel and Busan northern harbor. To evaluate quantitatively the overall dynamic situation such as maneuvering motions for target vessel and its tugboats while in transit to and from the berth structure inside a harbor, all traffic information in Busan northern harbor was automatically acquired, displayed, evaluated and recorded. The results obtained in this study suggest that the real-time tracking information of traffic vessels acquired by using an integrated VTS system can be used as a useful reference data in evaluating and analyzing exactly the dynamic situation such as the collision between ship and berth structure, in the process of berthing/deberthing operations for entering/leaving vessels in the confined waters and harbor.

In recent years, research has been actively conducted on the navigation in an indoor environment where Global Navigation Satellite System signals are unavailable. Among them, a study performed indoor navigation by integrating pseudolite carrier and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) sensor. However, in this case, there was no solution for the cycle slip occurring in the carrier. In another study, cycle slip detection and compensation were performed by integrating Global Positioning System (GPS) and IMU in an outdoor environment. However, in an indoor environment, cycle slip occurs more easily and frequently, and thus the occurrence of half cycle slip also increases. Accordingly, cycle slip detection based on 1 cycle unit has limitations. Therefore, in the present study, the aforementioned problems were resolved by performing indoor navigation through the integration of pseudolite and ultra-low-cost IMU embedded in a smartphone and by performing half cycle slip detection and compensation based on this. In addition, it was verified through the actual implementation of real-time navigation.

In this paper, we focus on the real-time detection method of a seismic ionospheric disturbance using Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signal. First, the monitor for the detection of the seismic ionospheric disturbance is studied based on the estimated ionospheric delay using the GNSS signals. And then, the threshold for the automatic detection is computed. Moreover, to discriminate the seismic ionospheric disturbance against the other ionospheric anomalies due to other error sources such as cycle slips, the signatures of the ionospheric perturbation caused by the seismic wave is investigated. Based on the observation, the detection strategy is proposed. Using GPS observations collected from the 47 permanent stations in South Korea and Japan, the proposed real-time detection method is evaluated.
Real-time service (RTS) provided by IGS provides correction for GNSS orbit and clock via internet, so it is widely used in fields that require real-time precise positioning. However, the RTS signal may be lost due to an unstable Internet environment. When signal disconnection occurs, signal prediction can be performed using polynomial models. However, the RTS changes rapidly after the GNSS navigation message issue of data (IOD) changes, so it is difficult to predict when signal loss occurs at that point. In this study, we proposed an algorithm to generate continuous RTS correction information by applying the difference in navigation trajectory according to IOD change. The use of this algorithm can improve the accuracy of RTS prediction at IOD changes. After performing optimization studies to improve RTS prediction performance, the predicted RTS trajectory information was applied to precision positioning (PPP). Compared to the conventional method, the position error is significantly reduced, and the error increase along with the signal loss interval increase is reduced.
