During the lifecycle of a nuclear power plant many organizations are involved in KOREA. Korea Plant Engineering Co. (KOPEC) participates in the design stage, Korea Hydraulic and Nuclear Power (KHNP) operates and manages all nuclear power plants in KOREA, Dusan Heavy Industries manufactures the main equipment, and a construction company constructs the plant. Even though each organization has a digital data management system inside and obtains a certain level of automation, data sharing among organizations is poor. KHNP gets drawing and technical specifications from KOPEC in the form of paper. It results in manual re-work of definition and there are potential errors in the process. A data warehouse based on a neutral model has been constructed in order to make an information bridge between design and O&M phases. GPM(generic product model), a data model from Hitachi, Japan is addressed and extended in this study. GPM has a similar architecture with ISO 15926 "life cycle data for process plant". The extension is oriented to nuclear power plants. This paper introduces some of implementation results: 1) 2D piping and instrument diagram (P&ID) and 3D CAD model exchanges and their visualization; 2) Interface between GPM-based data warehouse and KHNP ERP system.

The emergence of phosphodiesterase (PDE) 5 inhibitors gave rise to the solution for erectile dysfunction, starting with the development of sildenafil. Although their efficacy in treating erectile dysfunction has been shown, the side effects of PDE5 inhibitors, especially sildenafil, must be taken into consideration. A 64-year-old man received 100 mg of sildenafil and experienced blue vision in both eyes; however, after a day or so, his symptoms improved. The symptoms disappeared when he stopped administering sildenafil, but reappeared when the medication was re-administered. Therefore, he discontinued sildenafil treatment and was prescribed udenafil instead. After that, visual adverse events no longer occurred. Causality assessment showed that in this case, sildenafil-induced cyanopsia was "certain" under the World Health Organization-Uppsala Monitoring Center (WHO-UMC) criteria and Korean causality assessment algorithm (Ver.2), and was "probable" according to the Naranjo scale. In addition, sildenafil also led to abnormal visual reactions in other cases. Sildenafil can also inhibit PDE6, which is present in retinal cells, unlike other PDE5 inhibitors. Thus, visual adverse reactions, such as blue vision, are the unique results of sildenafil, and other PDE5 inhibitors may be used to prevent them.

As the International Maritime English Organization (IMO) model course for Maritime English has been recently revised and updated, the requirements of current changes to both the 2010 STCW Manila Amendments and English education have been actively reviewed. In order to provide practical guidelines for language teaching, a wide range of new pedagogical approaches and their theoretical backgrounds are also suggested. However, considering the current spread of Business English as a Lingua Franca (BELF) and its critical importance in maritime communication, the pedagogical approaches need to be re-evaluated, specifically in terms of teaching pronunciation in order to emphasize clear and effective communication among international interlocutors. Therefore, the core pedagogical elements of pronunciation should be clearly set and provided with consideration for Lingua Franca Core (LFC), which places importance on mutual intelligibility rather than following the rules of native speakers. In this paper, the current trends of BELF in the maritime industry will thus be introduced. Following this, the importance of LFC in maritime communication will be outlined, and its key features will be discussed in terms of effectiveness and clarity of international maritime communications. Finally, a close comparison between LFC and the pronunciation guidelines suggested by the IMO Maritime English model course 3.17 will be conducted, and pedagogical implications for future teaching pronunciation in cross-cultural global maritime industry will be suggested.

The purpose of this paper is to review concerns and activities related to the library of Germany as well as to look over recent trends referred to the maintenance of the library and its information service system since the unification of Germany in 1990. In fact, since the unification, many libraries in old East Germany have been closed with some precious books being lost. Also since most of libraries are short of funds and proper materials, it is real situation that they can not actively respond to the demand of information by library users who want to adapt themselves to changes, while only urgently requesting some support from old West Germany. In the meantime, the new government and libraries of Germany are giving a great effort to building an efficient document delivery system through financial support for the expansion of books and the purchase of urgently necessary library equipments in the poor libraries of old East Germany and support for the course to re-educate the in-service or unemployeed librarians, and also systematic organization between similar libraries, integration of national bibliographies, and maintenance of the interlibrary loan system. The nationwide interlibrary loan system, an expanded form of the system of old West Germany, allows the delivery of document to be easily performed, centered on both central cataloues for East Germany and West. However, in order to build an efficient information service system which covers whole Germany, it seems there needs more time required.

Object : Warming acupuncture (WA) has been used in Oriental Medicine for the treatment of physical disabilities caused by ligament damage. Here, the effects of WA on injured ligament tissues were investigated using the rat model. Methods : The rats were induced injury on the right hind ankle, and 4 weeks later, WA was given onto the acupoint GB4O(Quixu) of the injury area on a weekly basis for 6 weeks. Main outcome was measured by levels of Erk1/2. Hoechst nuclear staining and collagen staining in the ligament tissue. Result : Levels of active form of Erk1/2 kinase were increased in the injured ligament with WA compared with the control ligament induced injury only, and this change correlated with cell number increases in the ligament by WA. Type III, but not type I, collagen mRNA and protein levels were elevated in the injured ligament treated with WA. Moreover, histological staining showed increased re-organization of collagen fibers in the ligament by WA. Conclusions : The present data suggest that WA performance to the injured ligament may facilitate the healing process via increasing cellular activity.

This is the re-arrangement of the 2004 Asia Nutrition & Dietary Supplement Conference organized by ABF(The Asia Business Forum) in Singapore, especially regulatory view of point of health functional foods for Korea, Japan, and China. Foods that may have health benefits beyond the traditional nutrients that they contain are often called 'Functional Foods'. The concept of functional foods has become popular in recent years, first in Japan and later in other countries, including the USA. In USA, The functional foods was controlled by ACSH (the American Council on Science and Health). In Korea, 'Functional Foods'. was defined on the 'The Law for the Health Functional Foods'(Law No. 6727 : effective as of $26^{th}$, Aug. 2002). KFDA(Korea Food and Drug Administration) is the only authority body for approval, advertisement and claims for the Health Functional Foods in Korea. In Japan, the Japan Health Food and Nutrition Food Association controls the approval, regulate functional foods' advertisement and claims under the name of FOSHU (Foods for Specified Health Uses). In China, the State Food and Drug Administration(SFDA) is the only authoritative organization for the application, supervision and administration of health related products. Asia, especially Korea, Japan and China, is one of the leader in the vitamins and dietary supplement(VDS) market. Regulatory issues on restrictions are the most important how to tap into the health functional foods market including Korea.

The purpose of this research is to examine the current state of inserting illustrations in science textbooks under the 7th Revised Educational Curriculum which is currently enforced in all grades of elementary schools, and to compare and analyze the external and internal differences in illustrations in science textbooks of elementary schools in Tanzania and Korea to present desirable direction of producing illustrations. There are not only some differences in rate of the kinds and role of the illustrations in grades, but also in both countries. In Korea textbooks, Photographs were mainly used to guide the students into experiments and to train the students in analyzing and interpreting data. In contrast, the Tanzania textbooks place more emphasis on pictures to enhance their interests and curiosity and understand. The Korea textbooks have to place more various illustrations instead of photos but the Tanzania textbooks should place more photos. As a result the addition of more diverse forms of illustrations and the re-organization of illustrations according to the topic should be considersd in future Korea and Tanzania textbooks.

The school library in Korea, with its short history, has not been fully awared of its importance yet. As a result, most of school libraries in Korea have not been fundtioning as the center of educational activity which is closely connected with learning process and as the place of the extension of classroom, but as the place of storing books. Besides the importance of materials and facilities, the educational function of school libraries can be fully achieved only when each school librarian clearly understands his work and duties, and accomplishes them successfully. This study, which are based on analysis of literature investigations and precedent studies, are summarized as follow: 1. There is an absolute lack of the number of school librarians (or alternative teachers) in comparison to the number which is specified in the regulations of Library Law. 2. There is no a n.0, ppropriate legal foundation for employment of school librarians and library assistants, and of their o n.0, pportunities for promotion. 3. The school library in korea has been stayed so far on its infantile, namely 'the period of material arrangement', in the aspect of the function. 4. The administrative organization of the school library has not gained much recognition of its professional character. And even more the position of the school library today is not enough clear to be stable in the total school system. By solving these factors step, the newly reformed school library in Korea will play a great role in improving her education by the hand of school librarians whose spirits are re-filled with willingness and creativity.

The Purpose of this study first was to establish the concept based on the existing convention theory, and classifies the types of industrial aspect, and cultural and artistic aspects. Based on it, the relative importance of structural elements of the fashion convention industry is analyzed to fashion conventions in the industrial aspect. The research applies Delphi technique, it is applied to experts in the fashion convention industry in two rounds. Re result is as follows ; First, exhibitions and collection of the fashion convention industry are classified into five groups by examining their main types and main targets. Second, in fabric·material exhibitions, the procedure, personnel and communication have relatively equal importance on the whole although facilities are considered most important. in clothing·fashion exhibitions, the procedure has by far a high level of importance unlike others. Third, comparing the second stage importance, it is shown that the event hall, pubic relations, professionalization of personnel, communication between the promoter and supporting organization are most important with a slight difference by type. Fourth, comparing the third stage importance, it is revealed that ten most important factors are the event location, publicity time, the size·number of event halls customer handling , expertise, publicity media, friendliness, facilities, Publicity Publications, and business competence.

The purpose of this study is that suggest space composition in rural village so that it can had foundations for Activation of regional community by analysis and re-organization of rural community places based on regionality and historicity. First, this study have been investigated about changes of overall space configuration and community places that has been lost or were ongoing in rural village. Factors of changes were changes in lifestyle, rural policy, social and political system, economic principles and ect. Therefore, This study focused on understanding basic principles of rural village space configuration and inherited it. Second, basic principle of the space configuration of rural village were entryway and center that improve community cohesion in the community space. This study figured out improving of "Ma-Dang" and functional mix-use community hall was important for more efficient management. Third, This study set direction according to characteristic of space configuration of each village and suggested detail plans.
