이미지 데이타베이스 분야에 대한 다양한 기법들 가운데, 내용 기반 영상 검색 기법 (Content Based Image Retrieval)은 대용량의 영상을 효율적으로 검색하고 탐색할 수 있도록 한다. 기존의 내용 기반 영상 검색 시스템은 사용자가 입력한 질의 이미지에서 낮은 레벨의 특성 (low-level feature)을 추출하고 그에 기반하여 데이타베이스로부터 유사한 영상을 검색한다. 하지만 컴퓨터에서 사용하는 낮은 레벨의 특성은 실제 인간이 영상을 인식하는 방법과 다르게 영상을 인식한다는 단점이 있다. 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위하여 각 특성에 대한 가중치를 적합성 피드백 (relevance feedback)을 통하여 재조정하는 기법이 개발되었다. 기존의 특성 가중치 조정 (feature re-weighting) 기법은 모든 영상에 대하여 특성은 항상 고정된 길이의 벡터 데이타로 표현된다고 가정한다, 이러한 가정을 전제로 하여 기존의 기법은 특성 표현 (feature representation)의 각 부분을 n 차원 공간의 각 축에 할당한다. 하지만 특성 표현 기법의 발전에 따라 가변적인 길이의 벡터로 표현되는 특성이 출현하였으며 이로 인하여 기존의 제한된 길이의 벡터로 표현되는 특성 표현에 기반한 특성 가중치 조정 기법의 유효성은 감소하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 가변적인 크기의 벡터로 표현되는 특성에 대해서도 특성 가중치를 효과적으로 조정할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 본 기법은 특성에 기반하여 계산된 질의 영상과 데이타베이스 내부의 영상간의 거리와 양방향 신뢰구간을 이용하여 특성 가중치를 조정한다. 이 때 각 특성의 거리 계산 방법에 대해서는 제한을 두지 않는다. 또한 각 특성의 표현에 있어서도 고정적인 크기뿐만이 아니라 가변적인 크기의 데이타 역시 사용할 수 있도록 한다. 본 논문에서는 실험을 통하여 제안한 기법의 유효성을 입증하였으며, 다른 연구 결과와의 비교를 통하여 제안한 기법의 성능이 보다 우수함을 보였다.

This Study is concerned with the architectural problems particular to the design of the sanctuary in Catholic churches. The paper is meant to address two distinct groups - clerics and architects. Architects do not tend to think the church buildings theologically or liturgically, and priests, though they are often trained in the arts, do not tend to look at buildings the same way architects do. Hence, my goal is to adequately address the concerns of each in a language the other will understand, thereby building a bridge of communication between the two groups. The two main concerns of the study are to provide guidelines and reflection lot liturgically correct buildings, and to re-establish the traditions of church buildings. I discuss the idea of the sanctuary in the Catholic church,(in chapter 2) and examine each of the main furnishings of the sanctuary with regard to history, liturgical use, symbolism and related pastoral concerns.(in chapter 3,4).

Operation of KORAIL's level crossing is in charge of KORAIL. As taking over existing level crossing to KORAIL, they do not conduct risk assessments, so we do not know about any possibilities of inner risk. And present operation of safety of the level crossing is just regular checking of reaction and functions of safety equipments physically, we need to react to the changes of what's going on around of level crossing and incestigation of traffic flow and surrounding conditions more spontaneously. So, we have to prepare the strategies against accidents of level crossing cost-effectively based on regular risk assessments for sustainable safety improvements and overcome operational problems of present level crossing's safety. Here, we're going to investigate the level of safety level and present risk factors of the level crossing using risk assessments for accidents/error of the equipments to show operational strategies of level crossing based on risk assessments.

We found Rosa laevigata Michx., a newly alien plant in Songjinpo-ri, Jangmok-myeon, Geoje-si, Gyeongsang nam-do. Rosa laevigata is native to China, Taiwan, and Vietnam. It is reported as a naturalized species in Japan, South Africa, United States, and the Pacific Islands. Rosa laevigata is distinguished from R. multiflora by the large size of its flower. Its Korean name is 'Wang-jjil-re-na-mu' based on the large flower. Here, we provide precise description, taxonomic key to Korean Rosa species, illustrations and photographs of its habit.

Steel bar is used for as a reinforcing material in a concrete slab track. Bacuase the steel re-bar could provide passes for current transition, all the cross points of steel re-bars should be insulated by using plastic materials. This is due to the loss of signal intensity of track-circuit. In this study, GFRP bars are adopted in place of the traditional steel reinforcing bars for a concrete slab track to minimize the loss of the signal intensity. In order to evaluate the replacing effect on eletrical characteristic of slab track, measurements of surface resistivity are conducted on steel and GFRP reinforced precast slab tracks. In the results, the GFRP reinforced slab strack shows the higher resistivity than the steel reinforced slab track.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of provider and consumer characteristics, and patient trust on relational commitment among healthcare customers of an university hospital, and to suggest some implications for improving customer relation management of hospitals. Data were collected from 250 patients of an university hospital located in Ulsan using structured self-administered questionnaire. Major result of the analysis is as follows: First, study variables are significantly varied by age and income among socio-economic factors. Second, assurance, and empathy among provider characteristics and customer satisfaction and reputation among consumer characteristics are found to be significant affecting factors on patient trust. Third, trust affects significantly both on re-visit and recommendation among relationship commitment, while reputation affects on re-visit and customer satisfaction and reputation affect on recommendation. Above results imply that relationship management strategy for enhancing patient trust is crucial to improve competitiveness of hospitals in turbulent competition environment.

The morphological characteristics of the Korean Scopolia japonica Maxim., commonly known as 'Mi-chi-gwang-i-pul' in Korean, were re-evaluated in comparison with results from previous research, while the distribution map was formulated according to existing flora and voucher specimens. The result of the re-evaluation has shown that there are some distinctive discrepancies compared to the previous reports of some characteristics such as the color of the basal stem, numbers of lateral veins, apex shape of calyx and corolla including the color of corolla. The Korean Scopolia japonica Maxim is found throughout Korea except Jeju-do province. The intra-specific species such as S. parviflora (Dunn.) Nakai, S. lutescens Y.N. Lee and S. kwangdokensis Y.N. Lee were treated as synonyms of S. japonica Maxim. in this research.

Post these safety tips in any swimming area for all swimmers to read. 1. Always swim with companions. Swim only in area well supervised by lifeguards. 2. Never drink alcohol or use drugs when you're swimming or boating. 3. Always check the water depth. Walk in from shore or ease in from the dock or the edge of the pool. 4. Know the limits of your own swimming abilities. If you're a good swimmer, don't tempt nonswimmers or beginner swimmers to try to keep up with you. 5. Keep any eye on younger swimmers at all times. 6. Learn the proper way to dive in the water safely. Follow guidelines for safe diving. 7. Follow the lifeguards instructions and respect their judgment. Never fake an Emergency. Obey all swimming rules.

The equipment of a landfill need whole cut off facilities so that leachate generated from the landfill primarily do not leak to the ocean. Also, the whole collected leachate need a consecutive clarification treatment to discharge. A method is considered the best among the three alternatives. The merits of this method are as follows; have no secondary pollution. can cut down the expense of treatment, have good effects on preventing external leakage, don't need a leachate well, reliable quality control and easy post management. The weaknesses of this method are as follows; need a thorough survey about underground water and quality of the soil, need a special process to use as the land.
