Partial cDNA sequencing to generate expressed sequence tags (ESTs) is being used at present for the fast and efficient obtainment of a detailed profile of genes expressed in various tissues, cell types, or developmental stages. We describe here the construction, DNA sequencing and sequence profiles of cDNA library from Uroctea lesserti. (omitted)

The fraud exception rule allows for the issuing bank to dishonor the claim if it the documents and transactions bear fraud though the documents presented are complied with the terms and conditions of the letter of credit. A question arises whether the fraud exception rule can apply to innocent beneficiary when fraud is made by 3rd party. United City Merchants v. Royal Bank of Canada showed a good example how to handle in case of innocent beneficiary. At this case House of Lord found that innocent beneficiary deserves payment applying nullity exception rule. I believe that the nullity exception rule is employed for the benefit of innocent beneficiary as far as the issuer and applicant get no actual damage by the 3rd party's fraudulent action which is shown on documents.

The 3rd generation mobile telecommunication fields are being standardized and developed in two parts, 3GPP and 3GPP2. These two parts have established each Network Architecture Models to achieve the goals basically required in the 3rd generation and to make it progress to IP network in the future. To achieve these goals many system architectures are proposed. Not only functional aspects but also performance aspects are considered as major factors. This paper proposes a new method of performance evaluation modeling and simulation that improved the existing way. The method proposed in this paper is Aspect oriented logical performance analysis Modeling and Simulation method. This proposed method is expected to improve efficiency of performance analysis modeling and simulation on the 3rd generation mobile telecommunication system.

The probability distributio function (pdf) of transmitted symbols should be asymmectric for recovering the received data in the 3rd order blind equalizer system. In this paper, we hav edesigned the blind equalizer using symmetric-asymmetric (SA) and asymmetric-symmetric (AS) transforms for less computational complexities and robustness in the noisy environments. The method of SA and AS transform was peformed using natural logarithmic operation. This paper proves that the proposed in this paper can be performed as real time operation. This paper proves that the compression factor k has no effet on transmitted symbols. Also 3rd order equalization method proposed in this paper can be performed as real time operation. As a result of computer simulatio, the computational complexity of proposed algorithm is reduced to be an half of 4th order method and MSE is enhanced as 10dB at the case of 4-PAM and 15dB at the case of 8-PAM respectivley. Conclusively, we have found that 3rd order blind equalizer can be implemented when the pdf of transmitter is asymmetric.

The measured damping ratio was analysed to obtain amplitude dependence. Wind-induced vibration of 20 story steel-framed building was measured to investigate amplitude dependence by RD method. Micro-tremo vibrations of 20 RC bearing wall typed buildings were performed to analysis the amplitude dependence by formula proposed by Tamua and ESDU. Amplitude dependent damping in 17 story steel-framed building was showed clearly in the increasing rate of 9%. But Amplitude dependent damping of 17 RC bearing wall typed buildings was very low in the increasing rate of 2.5%. The tendency of dynamic properties of building obtained here are useful for the validation of dynamic properties of buildings in the evaluation of serviceability.

DOPA decarboxylase (DDC), which converts DOPA to dopamine, is important for many biological event such as cuticular melanization, sclerotization and neurotransmission in insects. Recently, it has been also shown that DDC activity is correlated with pupal diapause in M. brassicae. The silkworm, Bombyx mori is a typical insect diapausing at early embryonic stage. (omitted)

Expressed sequence tags(ESTs) constitute a rapid and informative strategy for studying gene-expression profiles of specific stages and tissues. In this report, a cDNA library constructed from late larval Hydropsyche sp. was used to generate ESTs. Caddis larval silk-gland produce silk which are used in constructing their retreats and cases in the aquatic situation. (omitted)

M87, a cD galaxy in the Virgo cluster, has 3-10 times larger enclosed mass than the Milky Way at any given galactocentric radius. Thus the globular cluster (GC) system in M87 is expected to have undergone a more significant dynamical evolution than that of the Milky Way if it had started from the same initial mass function (MF) and radial distribution (RD) as the Milky Way. The evolution of MF and RD of the M87 GC system has been calculated using an advanced, realistic Fokker-Planck (FP) model that considers dynamical friction, disk/bulge shocks, and eccentric cluster orbits. We perform hundreds of FP calculations with different initial cluster conditions, and then search a wide parameter space for the best-fit initial GC MF and RD that evolves into the observed present-day GC MF and RD. We also find best-fit initial MFs and RDs for blue and red GC groups, separately.

Data were collected from teacher reports and from 529 1st to 6th grade students through questionnaires. Bullying was higher among boys than girls. Victimization was higher in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th grade boys than girls. Acting out was highest in 2nd graders and lowest in 3rd graders. Shy-anxiousness was highest in 4th and 6th graders and lowest in 1st and 3rd graders. Learning problems were lowest among 3rd graders. Competencies were higher in 1st and 2nd grades. Boys had more problem behaviors; girls showed better competencies. Bullying was positively related to acting out, and negatively related to frustration tolerance and task orientation. Victimization was positively related to shy-anxiousness and learning problems, and negatively related to frustration tolerance, assertive social skills and task orientation.
