[(CoO/NiO)/NiFe/Cu/NiFe] spin-valve 박막에서의 자기저항효과와 자기적 특성에 대한 연구 (The study of magnetoresistance and magnetic properties in [(CoO/NiO)/NiFe/Cu/NiFe] spin-valve thin films)

  • We have studied the magnetoresistance phenomena on spin valve thin films of antiferromagnetic NiO/CoO. Interlayer coupling oscillates between the antiferrocoupling and ferrocoupling with the variation of Cu thickness. The exchange coupling strength between NiO (antiferromagnetic) and NiFe(ferromagnetic) as a function of NiO texture and interface roughness is investigated by CoO insertion. CoO has significantly higher anisotropy in the (111) plane and interface roughness. It seems that the MR-ratio is increased by CoO inserted films. From the AFM and XRD data, the increase of MR-ratio and exchange field is influenced by the roughness of CoO.

  • In late years, from a trend for ecology of auto motive engine, low emission and low fuel consumption of engine become a social assignment. At the same time, the high output (high efficiency) is required, too. In order to meet those requirements, in comparison with conventional engines, lean A/F (Air fuel ratio) setting is becoming popular for the high performance engines of late years. Exhaust valve seat (sintered material) used in these engines has a problem in wear resistance, because it is exposed to the surroundings that is clean and a high temperature in comparison with the conventional engines. Therefore, wear mechanism with lean A/F of engine was analyzed.The exhaust valve seat (sintered material), that was superior in wear resistance, was developed.

추진제탱크 가압용 솔레노이드밸브의 작동특성 분석 및 해석 (Analysis of Dynamic Characteristics and Performance of Solenoid Valve for Pressurization Propellant Tank)

  • 우주발사체 추진기관 공급계에서 2-way 솔레노이드밸브는 제어시스템의 명령에 의해 추진제 탱크를 가압하여 탱크내의 압력을 조절한다. 가압용 솔레노이드밸브의 제작에 앞서 설계검증 및 기본적인 작동특성을 분석하기 위해 AMESim상용코드를 이용하여 해석모델을 수립하였다. FLUENT 상용코드를 이용하여 내부유동해석을 수행하여해 해석의 정확도를 높이고, 모델을 검증하기 위해 동특성 해석을 통해 입구압력에 따른 작동시간을 시험결과와 비교하였고 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. 또한 해석 모델을 이용하여 컨트롤밸브와 기본밸브의 설계변수에 대한 밸브의 동특성 해석을 수행하였다. 해석을 통해 기본밸브의 시트형상과 직경비에 따른 밸브의 작동시간, 작동성능, 개폐압력을 예상하였다.

저속 디젤기관에서 고팽창의 밀러방식에 의한 사이클 해석 및 흡기밸브제어에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Cycle Analyzing and Intake Valve Control by the Miller Method with a High Expansion into Low-Speed Diesel Engine)

  • 최근, 디젤기관의 고효율달성을 위한 방법으로 밀러방식의 고팽창사이클에 대한 연구가 관심이 높다. 본 연구에서는 고팽창 디젤사이클을 구성하여 열역학적으로 해석하고, 몇몇 인자에 의한 사이클 특성을 분석하였다. 이론해석 결과 흡기밸브 닫힘시기가 지각될수록 유효압축비의 감소로 상대적인 팽창비의 효과는 커져 팽창-압축비의 비는 기대할 수 있었으나, 압축압력 및 흡입공기의 역류로 인해 평균유효 압력과 출력의 감고를 수반하였다. 따라서 이에 대한 대책이 있어야 진정한 의미의 고팽창 디젤사이클이 실현되고 열효율향상 가능성이 있음이 확인되었다. 위와 같은 사이클을 실제기관으로부터 구현하기 위해 흡기밸브 닫힘시기를 늦게 하는 제어시스템을 구축하고, 시험을 위해서 S/B가 약 3인 저속 단기통 디젤기관에 가변밸브타이밍(VVT)시스템을 적용하여 성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과 시험기관의 밸브제어에는 큰 문제없는 것으로 평가되었다.

다공스로틀밸브가 혼합기 유동과 연료 분무의 2차 미립화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Perforated Throttle Valve on the Mixture Flow and Secondary Atomization of Fuel Spray)

  • Finely atomized fuel droplet and good mixed mixture plays very important in improving combustion efficiency in an spark ignition engine. And combustion efficiency has influence directly on the engine power, fuel consumption rate and pollutant emission. In this study, perforated throttle valve which has relatively low value of PR has been developed and studied for the purpose of improving those aims. As a result of this study, it has been verified that the perforated throttle valve makes droplet more finely, and also proved that has a function of contributing to form good mixed mixture, especially in mixture preparation system of carburetor or SPI type spark ignition engine.

실린더헤드 형상에 따른 정상유동 특성 (Steady Flow Characteristics of Four-Valve Cylinder Heads)

  • The flow characteristics of five different 4-valve cylinder heads were investigated in a steady flow rig using laser-Doppler velocimetry. The tumble flow of each head with pentroof combustion chamber was quantified by nondimensional tumble number using a tumble adaptor. The formation of tumbling vortex was examined in an optical single-cylinder engine which has windows for in-cylinder LDV measurements. Tumble vortex ratio was estimated from the tumble flow measurement. The four-valve cylinder heads with pent-roof combustion chamber showed the tumble vortex from the intake process, which was investigated in the steady flow test. The tumble adaptor which converts the tumble into swirl flow was found to be feasible in predicting the tumble flow in the real engine. The tumble strength in the steady flow test coincides with that in the real engine experiment within 15%. It was found that the steady flow test on the four-valve cylinder heads provides the tip for a better design of cylinder head.

  • Many researchers have developed the measurement technique of in-cylinder flow characteristics and found the effect of intake port geometries on engine performance. The flow characteristics of four-valve cylinder head were examined in a steady flow rig for different intake ports. Tumble intensity of intake configurations with different entry angles were quantified with a tumble meter. The velocity and angular momentum distributions in the tumble adaptor were measured under steady conditions with PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry). We have obtained the results that flow structure becomes complicated by valve interference at low valve lift. As the valve interferences were reducing and the flow pattern changed to large vortex structure with tumble direction, intake ports with different entry angles have different tumble centers. Tumble eccentricity of intake port with low entry angle was large, so that the port had relatively much angular momentum compared to others which was expected to improve combustion performance.

삼첨판균열과 다발성 심방중격결손을 합병한 Incomplete Atrioventricular Canal 의 치험 (Incomplete atrioventricular canal associated with tricuspid valve cleft and multiple ASD: report of one case)

  • Atrioventricular canal is divided into incomplete, intermediate and complete types. In ostium primum ASD [incomplete type] mitral valve cleft is almost always present, but ostium primum ASD with tricuspid valve cleft is a rare congenital anomaly. The patient was a 7 year old female whose complains were palpitation, exertional dyspnea and growth retardation. The chest films showed moderate cardiomegaly [C-T ratio, 61%]. EKG, Echocardiography, cardiac catheterization and left ventriculography were performed. Open heart surgery was done under the impression of incomplete atrioventricular canal. At the time of operation, ostium primum ASD [2x2.5 cm in diameter], secundum type ASD [lxl.5 cm in diameter] and cleft in the septal leaflet of the tricuspid valve were noted. But mitral valve was normal without cleft and VSD was not noted. Each anomalous portion was repaired. The patient made an uneventful recovery and we report this case, review and discuss the literatures.

한국 성인 심장의 승모판 복합체에 관한 형태학적 연구 (The Morphologic Study of the Mitral Valve Complex in Korean Adult Hearts)

  • The mitral valve is not a simple but a complex structure, mitral valve complex. This complex is composed of mitral orifice, annulus, valve leaflet, chordae tendineae and papillary muscles. There were many controversies about this structures. We studied mitral valve complex in 63 cases of normal Korean adults, such as the circumference of mitral annulus, the intercommissural diameter, height and breadth of the cusps, including commissure, the ratio of rough to clear zone, breadth of the achordal zone, the number of scallops of posterior cusp, the number, length and the pattern of arrangement of the several types of chordae, the number and morphological characteristics of papillary muscles.

메탄올기관과 흡.배기 밸브에서의 열유속 특성 (Characteristics of Heat Flux in Intake and Exhaust Valve of Methanol Fueled Engine)

  • Instantaneous surface temperature and unsteady heat flux of intake and exhaust valve in methanol fueled engine were investigate as a function of compression ratio and engine speed. To accomplish this purpose, the instantaneous temperature sensor was designed and it was installed into three point of intake and exhaust valve head to measure unsteady temperature. The unsteady heat flux at valves was evaluated using one dimensional heat conduction equation with the valve head temperature and temperature gradient. And also mean heat flux of intake and exhaust valve for each stroke were evaluated as a function of engine speed.
