LCC기법을 이용한 신기술 환기시스템의 경제성 분석에 관한 사례연구 (A Case Study on the Economic Analysis for a New Technology-Based Ventilation System Using LCC Technique)

  • The purpose of this study is to assess economic effects for a new technology-based ventilation system. The study has been performed using LCC technique for the economic analysis. Data for LCC analysis are collected from estimation and interview of estimators and maintenance experts of buildings. Based on the LCC analysis, the economic effect of a new technology-based ventilation system has been predicted as follows: for the investment during 15 years of study period, (1) return rate for the investment is 9.3 times. (2) 7.3% of LCC saving is predicted.

공공투자사업(公共投資事業)의 적정(適正) 할인율(割引率) 검토(檢討)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Review on the Pertinent Discount Rate for the Public Investment Project)

  • For the pre-feasibility study and project evaluation, the discount rate or cutoff rate should be given by the government authority. To get the Benefit/Cost Ratio, NPV(Net Present Value) and IRR(Internal Rate of Return) of the public investment projects, the pertinent and realistic discount rate should be determined to be suitable to the present time period. The cut-off rates in Korea were equivalent to 15% in 1970's, 10% in 1980's and 8% in 1990's. The prevailing rate of discount as 8% is considered not to be suitable for the 2000's public project appraisal considering the present interest rates on deposit and national bonds. To determine the socio-economic feasibility of the public projects, the IRR should be bigger than the present cutoff rate. When we still use the high old rate of discount, the analytical results of project appraisal will show always economically unfeasible. Therefore the new rate of discount suitable for present time should be determined by the government. The public projects to be implemented in 2000 year onward are recommended to be adapted 5% of cutoff rate for the project appraisal and evaluation according to the results of reviewing the tendency of discount rates and market rates of interest in Korea.

경제성 측면에서의 가스하이드레이트 개발 가치 (The Economic Aspect of Gas Hydrate Development)

  • The price to import natural gas continues to rise, as well as the rate of its domestic consumption. This research examined the economic feasibility of domestically developing and producing gas hydrate to substitute imported natural gas. Today, the industry still lacks the technology to commercially produce gas hydrate. However, if the gas hydrate is able to be commercially produced domestically and replace imported natural gas, the annual economic benefit for the Republic of Korea would be 211 - 833 USD/ton. Gas hydrate is rated as a high value investment by the gas industry since the potential annual profit can reach over 150USD/ton. The commercial value of gas hydrate development will increase as long as the natural gas market continues to expand and its consumption increase remains steady. With further development of technology, one can anticipate an even higher expected return on the investment.

실물옵션을 이용한 SNG 사업투자의 경제성 평가 연구 (A Study on Economic Evaluation of SNG Project using Real Option Valuation Model)

  • This study attempts to suggest an economic analysis model for SNG projects, which can reflect the future uncertainty objectively and applies the real option valuation incorporating the flexible investment decision. Based on this analysis model, net present value and internal rate of return were estimated by using preliminary feasibility study report of SNG project. And economic evaluation of SNG project was performed with real option valuation using binomial option model. Through this, the difference of analysis results between the real option valuation model and the discounted cash flow model were compared and the usefulness of the real option valuation model was confirmed. From the actual proof analysis, it is confirmed that the real option valuation model showed higher SNG project value than the discounted cash flow model did. It was confirmed that by applying the real option valuation model, economic analysis can be performed on not only the current straightforward SNG project, but also various future portfolios having options such as expansion, modification, or decommission.

항공기 리스사 자금조달 구조에 따른 사업모델 분석 (An Analysis of Aircraft Lessor Business Model Based on Financing Structure)

  • This study investigates aircraft lessor business models by studying cases and interviewing experts to analyze investors and business strategies of aircraft lessor. The results confirm that there is a wide range of investors including institutional investors, financial institutions, insurance companies, corporations, and wealthy individuals for aircraft lessor. Aircraft lessors can be categorized based on its required rate of return (cost of capital) into bank-investing core, institutional investor-investing value-added, and hedge fund-investing opportunistic. Aircraft lessor decides leasing rate by aircraft purchasing price and lessee's credit rating. Core aircraft lessors invest in new aircrafts for new placement or sale-and-leaseback strategy requiring little technical risk in aircraft, value-added lessors invest in middle-aged aircrafts for re-leasing, opportunistic lessors invest in old aircrafts for freighter conversion or part-out strategy requiring high level of expertise. This study provides insights for future Korean aircraft lessor establishment and investment.

새로운 시범(示範) 농촌(農村) 건설(建設) 방향(方向) - 농어촌정주생활권개발사업(農漁村定住生活圈開發事業)을 중심으로 - (New Direction of Pilot Rural Development -With Respect to Rural Settlement Zone Development Project-)

  • To mitigate the development gap between urban and rural area, the government has implemented project planning as the Rural Integrated Development in each Gun level since 1986. On account of shortage of the development fund, the government had changed the Gun level development into Myeon level development so called the Rural Central Settlement Zone Development. The government had started nine pilot projects throughout Korea from 1990. This study is aimed at identifing problems that found in the course of implementation of the projects and recommending the new direction of the successful implementation of the projects in the future. The problems and directions found in the cource of project implementation were as follows: 1. Project implementation by investment priority considering economic and financial rate of return should be made. 2. Objective project planning should be made. 3. Equal allocation of the limited investment fund by group interest and egoism should be prohibited. 4. Enforcement of special man power should be taken into account. 5. Unification of the diversified existing terms and conditions of loans for house construction and improvement. 6. Road development oriented budget allocation should be improved. 7. Sufficient development fund should be procured considering the present rate of sufficiency of the project cost as 36%. 8. Sufficient supply of the credit loans for improvement of living environment of the farmers should be realized. 9. Rational implementation planning in connection with farm household income source development should be made.

한국영화 제작자본에 대한 영상전문투자조합 정책의 기여도 평가 (An Evaluation on the Audio-visual Investment Fund's Contribution to Korean Film Production Capital)

  • 본 연구는 정부의 금융지원 정책인 영상전문투자조합이 한국영화 제작자본 조달에 기여한 정도를 평가하였다. 영상전문투자조합 정책은 1999년 중소기업청과 2000년 영화진흥위원회의 출자로 시작되었고, 이후 한국영화 제작비뿐만 아니라 문화산업 분야의 창업 초기기업과 프로젝트의 중요한 자본조달 구조로 발전하였다. 하지만 한국 영화산업의 관점에서 영상전문투자조합의 정책성과를 평가할 수 있는 기초자료가 기관별, 시기별로 산개해 있어서 일관적인 지표를 산출하기 어려웠다. 이에 본 연구는 해당 기관들의 자료를 재구성하여 1999~2017년까지 공적 출자를 통해 결성된 영상전문투자조합의 신규 결성규모, 공공 출자비율, 한국영화 투자편수 및 투자금액, 공공 출자금 및 결성액 대비 투자승수, 청산조합 수익률 등의 지표를 산출하였다. 이를 통해 영상전문투자조합 정책이 한국 영화산업의 성장에 기여한 성과를 평가할 수 있는 기초적인 토대를 제공하고자 한다.

벤처.중소기업의 외국인지분이 배당수익률에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (The Effect of Foreign Investment on Dividend Yield Ratio of KOSDAQ Firms)

  • 외국인 투자의 증가가 국내기업의 배당에 미치는 영향에 대하여 선행연구에서 상이한 결과들을 제시하고 있는데 이는 실증분석의 방법에서 배당을 측정하는 변수로 상이한 변수들이 사용되었으며, 분석 방법론 측면에서 외국인투자와 배당수준 간의 인과관계의 방향을 통제하지 않았다는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 기존문헌들이 가지는 한계점을 최대한 보완하여 코스닥시장 신규상장기업을 대상으로 하여 외국인 투자와 배당수준간의 인과관계의 방향성 문제를 극복하고 배당수익률을 종속변수로 하여 분석함으로써 앞에서 제기한 우려에 대한 답을 제시하고자 하였다. 먼저 전체표본을 사용하는 경우, 배당수익률은 외국인투자와 유의한 관계를 보이지 않았으며 이와 같은 결과는 기존 문헌의 연구결과와 유사한 것이다. 그리고 외국인투자가 발생하기 이전에 배당금을 지급했던 표본기업을 대상으로 한 패널분석에서도 외국인 투자가 배당수익률에 유의하게 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 외국인 투자자들이 배당을 지급하는 기업에 대한 선호현상으로 인하여 외국인투자는 배당수준에 영향을 미치지 않았음을 보여주는 결과이다. 그러나 외국인 투자가 발생하기 이전에 배당을 지급했던 기업을 제외한 표본에 대한 패널분석결과에 의하면 외국인투자는 배당수준 변수 즉 배당수익률이 유의하게 정의 관계에 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 배당을 지급하는 기업에 대한 외국인 투자자의 선호현상을 통제하는 경우, 외국인 투자자들이 국내 코스닥기업에 배당수준에 대하여 유의한 영향을 미친다는 결과를 보여주는 것이다. 특히 기존의 연구에서 유의하게 나타나지 않았던 배당수익률이 외국인의 배당지급 기업에 대한 선호현상을 통제하였을 때 유의하게 나타난 본 연구의 결과는 상당히 의미가 있는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이는 외국인지분이 증가 할수록 전체이익 중 배당액이 차지하는 비중이 증가하고 시기총액대비 현금배당이 증가함을 의미함으로 외국인투자자가 단기적 이익에 집착하여 고배당을 유도한다는 주장이 성립하는 것으로 볼 수 있다.

외식사업 신규창업을 위한 사업계획서 작성방법 사례와 투자경제성 분석에 관한 연구 (Case Studies on Preparing a Business Plan for the Foundation of Food Service Business and Analysis of Investing Economy.)

  • This study was performed as placing stress on business plan preparation and investing economy analysis centered to cases upon presenting the premises of study for new foundation of food service business. The summarized results are as follows: 1. In the aspect of carrying out process of practical project, establishing the promotion strategy, the facility project program, the menu program, the facility and furniture program, organization & manning schedule, the business operation schedule, review of all laws & provisions and the allout promotion schedule in order were deployed. 2. Analysis of investing economy for review of profitability 1) In case of investment, excluding 600million for the real setate lease among the total investment of 1billion, it was required by 161, 235, 000 for interior project, 161, 110, 000 for facility & equipment, 19, 235, 000 for fittings, 27, 600, 000 for menu plate & uniform, 27, 600, 000 for furniture, 13, 800, 000 for sign article. 2) In case of loss & profit presumed the annual turnover is to be 1, 115, 856, 000 the contigent profit(before tax) is to be 148, 966, 000 which is 13.3% in comparson to the sales amount and the net profit(after tax) for this term s to be 104, 276, 000 which is 9.3% against the sales and the profitable ratio to the equity investment( 500 million) is 20.9% and it satisfies 20% of the premises of study. 3) In case of the payback period will be approximately two(2) years which indicated within three(3) years that is standard of new project evaluation term of ordinary enterprise. 4) In case of internal rate of return it will be 21.5% which is favorable profitability as taking into account of 15% that is standard of new project evaluation by ordinary enterprise based on general downtown money interest. That the investing value of Happy Day profitability is hinted as it is sufficient enough as the case under this study based upon such results and considered that securing supremacy is competitive power in case of commitment will be possible.
