Recently, numerous certificateless encryption (CLE) schemes have been introduced. The security proofs of most schemes are given under the random oracle model (ROM). In the standard model, the adversary is able to calculate the hash function instead of asking the challenger. Currently, there is only one scheme that was proved to be secure in SM. In this paper, we constructed a new CLE scheme and gave the security proofs in SM. In the new scheme, the size of the storage space required by the system is constant. The computation cost is lower than other CLE schemes due to it needs only two pairing operations.

Threshold signature and blind signature are playing important roles in cryptography as well as practical applications such as e-cash and e-voting systems. In this paper, we present a new threshold blind digital signature based on pairings without a trusted third party. Our scheme operates on Gap Diffie-Hellman group, where Computational Diffie-Hellman problems are hard but Decision Diffie-Hellman problems are easy. For example, we use pairings that could be built from Weil pairing or Tate pairing. To the best of our knowledge, we claim that our scheme is the first threshold blind signature using pairings with provable security in the random oracle model.

To slove the security and efficiency problem of anonymous authentication in vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET), we adopt the bilinear pairing theory to propose an identity-based batch anonymous authentication scheme for VANET. The tamper-proof device in the on-board unit and the trusted authority jointly realize the anonymity of vehicle identity and the signature of messages, which further enhances the security of this scheme, as well as reduces the overhead of trusted authority. Batch authentication can improve the efficiency of anonymous authentication for VANET. Security and efficiency analyses demonstrate that this scheme not only satisfies such security properties as anonymity, non-forgeability and non-repudiation, but also has advantage in time and space complexity. Simulation results show that this scheme can achieve good performance in real-time VANET communication.

Forward-secure signature is a specific type of signature, which can mitigate the damage caused by the signing key exposure. Most of the existing forward-secure (identity-based) signature schemes can update users' secret keys at each time period, achieve the existential unforgeability, and resist against classical computer attacks. In this paper, we first revisit the framework of forward-secure identity-based signatures, and aim at supporting flexible key update at multi time period. Then we propose a post-quantum forward-secure identity-based signature scheme from lattices and use the basis delegation technique to provide flexible key update. Finally, we prove that the proposed scheme is strongly unforgeable under the short integer solution (SIS) hardness assumption in the random oracle model.
An aggregate signature scheme is a digital signature scheme that allows aggregation of n distinct signatures by n distinct users on n distinct messages. In this paper, we present an aggregate signcryption scheme (ASC) that is useful for reducing the size of certification chains (by aggregating all signatures in the chain) and for reducing message size in secure routing protocols. The new ASC scheme combines identity-based encryption and the aggregation of signatures in a practical way that can simultaneously satisfy the security requirements for confidentiality and authentication. We formally prove the security of the new scheme in a random oracle model with respect to security properties IND-CCA2, AUTH-CMA2, and EUF-CMA.
Most of the previous proxy re-encryption schemes rely on the average-case hardness problems such as the integer factorization problems and the discrete logarithm problems. Therefore, they cannot guarantee its security under quantum analysis, since there exist quantum algorithms efficiently solving the factorization and logarithm problems. In the paper, we propose the first proxy re-encryption scheme based on the hard worst-case lattice problems. Our scheme has many useful properties as follows: Unidirectional, collusion-resistant, noninteractive, proxy invisible, key optimal, and nontransitive. We also provided the formal security proof of the proposed scheme in the random oracle model.
Cryptographic hash functions reduce inputs of arbitrary or very large length to a short string of fixed length. All hash function designs start from a compression function with fixed length inputs. The compression function itself is designed from scratch, or derived from a block cipher or a permutation. The most common procedure to extend the domain of a compression function in order to obtain a hash function is a simple linear iteration; however, some variants use multiple iterations or a tree structure that allows for parallelism. This paper presents a survey of 17 extenders in the literature. It considers the natural question whether these preserve the security properties of the compression function, and more in particular collision resistance, second preimage resistance, preimage resistance and the pseudo-random oracle property.

Because of the advantages of certificateless and no escrow feature over the regular signature and identity-based signature, certificateless signature has been widely applied in e-business, e-government and software security since it was proposed in 2003. Although a number of certificateless signature schemes have been proposed, there is only one lattice-based certificateless signature scheme which is still secure in the quantum era. But its efficiency is not very satisfactory. In this paper, the first certificateless signature scheme on NTRU lattice is proposed, which is proven to be secure in random oracle model. Moreover, the efficiency of the new scheme is higher than that of the only one lattice-based certificateless signature.

낮은 엔트로피의 패스워드를 이용하여 안전한 인증 및 키교환을 위해 Diffie-Hellman에 기반한 AMP(Authentication and key agreement via Memorable Password) 프로토콜이 제안되었다.

Deniable authentication (DA) is a protocol in which a receiver can generate an authenticator that is probabilistically indistinguishable from a sender. DA can be applied in many scenarios that require user privacy protection. To enhance the security of DA, in this paper, we construct a new deniable authenticated encryption (DAE) scheme that realizes deniable authentication and confidentiality in a logical single step. Compared with existing approaches, our approach provides proof of security and is efficient in terms of performance analysis. Our scheme is in an identity-based environment; thus, it avoids the public key certificate-based public key infrastructure (PKI). Moreover, we provide an example that shows that our protocol is applicable for e-voting systems.
