열차운행 시격 변경에 따른 트램 급전계통 해석 (Analysis of Tram Feeding System according to Train Diagram Change)

  • In order to understand phenomenon of the electric railway power feeding system in the construction planning step, analysis of the overall system including electric characteristic of electric railway power feeding system, train running characteristic and power consumption pattern and train operation plan and gradients of railroad and curve radius is required. This paper study the feeder system by analysis of comprehensive system according to train operation plans, line impedance, running characteristic of train, electrical properties of the feeder system. In order to understand phenomenon to the feeder system of tram exactly regarding export of the field railroad preceeding actively recently.

지방 대도시권 광역전철 구축 전략 (A Strategy to Build a Local Wlde-city Metropolitan Transportation Electric Railway System)

  • Now, the population and economical power is deeply concentrated to Seoul-metropolitan region, therefoere the provinces is so lagging behind and the country cannot get balance development. And, like metropolitan region, the more outer the living area of local wide-area city is spreading, the more serious wide-region transportation problems are. But the railroads near wide-area city fun seldom commuter train, so they cannot absorb the transportation demand of wide-area city metropolitan region. To solve above transportation problem, local wide- area cities try to make a subway or a light rail transit. But it is so difficult because the limit of public finance and original small capacity of light rail. In the paper, I propose 'Local city wide-area electric railways' system of the consortium of 'Local wide-city and province transportation union', Korean National Railroad (KNR) and local capital. A 'Local wide-city and province transportation union' operates commuter railways directly using the facilities of KNR, and local capital invests to the stations of above railways system. Therefore the commuter railway system around local wide-city region will be constructed quickly and the stations will be the strong point of local development and investment.

  • The Korean high speed railway is scheduled to open in 2004. For railway-based integrated transfer system, it is essential to develop intermodal information system for easy and better transfer to other travel modes. An understanding of mode choices by KTX passengers is crucial for the intermodal transportation planning. Recent development of Intelligent Transportation System made it possible for railroad users to access the information in a cabin or waiting areas at the station. Development of intermodal transportation information system will influence the relative demand for traveling by train from competing other transportation mode. The research is focused on a general overview of the ITS with an emphasis on intermodal transportation information system.

  • The metropolitan area needs to control the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) and transportation card system in order to implement an efficient railway and subway. This paper introduces a suitable analysis to take advantage of the systematic method of the AFC and transportation card. These systems should consider the fare system, transportation pass and AFC equipment, which are organized with the Automatic Ticket Vending Machine, the Ticket Office Machine and the Card System of Radio Frequency (RF). However, the organization includes the fact the Automatic Ticket Vending Machine has a problem with the proceeding speed of passengers and inconvenience. Second, the majority of passengers have not utilized the Ticket Office Machine. Also, it should consider whether the transportation card is the proper system in the metropolitan area. Based on the analysis of national and international cases, it suggests that the AFC should make more improvements in the metropolitan area railway and subway.

Comparison of Deep-Learning Algorithms for the Detection of Railroad Pedestrians

  • Railway transportation is the main land-based transportation in most countries. Accordingly, railway-transportation safety has always been a key issue for many researchers. Railway pedestrian accidents are the main reasons of railway-transportation casualties. In this study, we conduct experiments to determine which of the latest convolutional neural network models and algorithms are appropriate to build pedestrian railroad accident prevention systems. When a drone cruises over a pre-specified path and altitude, the real-time status around the rail is recorded, following which the image information is transmitted back to the server in time. Subsequently, the images are analyzed to determine whether pedestrians are present around the railroads, and a speed-deceleration order is immediately sent to the train driver, resulting in a reduction of the instances of pedestrian railroad accidents. This is the first part of an envisioned drone-based intelligent security system. This system can effectively address the problem of insufficient manual police force.

  • As a result of the current population concentrations in urban centers, demand for intercity transportation is increasing rapidly. Railway transportation is becoming popular as an intercity transportation because of its timely service, travel speeds and transport efficiency. Among the many railway systems, the innovative and environmentally friendly maglev system has been rated very highly as the next-generation intercity railway system. Linear induction motors are widely used for the propulsion of maglev trains because of their light weight and low construction costs. The urban maglev that was recently completed in Incheon airport site employs a 110km/h class linear induction motor. However, this system was designed to meet requirements for inner-city operations and is not suitable as an intercity transportation system, which requires medium to high speeds. Therefore, this study deals with the characteristics and designs of linear induction motors used for the propulsion of maglev trains that can be used as intercity trains. Rail car specifications for high-speed trains have been presented, and the characteristics of linear induction motors that can be used for the propulsion of these trains have been derived using the finite element method (FEM).

  • The electric railway has been widely used as a transportation all over the world. It also was opened in 1973 in korea and it has been steadily proceeded in making electric railway network for a big city and building Keongbu high speed , electric railway. That's why the system of electric railway is able to solve the environmental pollution and operate the useful energy in environmental ways, it helps to increase the ability of transportation and to decrease the cost. Because of the advantage of making the economic situation better, the system of electric railway is trying to do their best in developing technique of electric railway. Because of the increasing of transportation and the high speed operation, cars with regenerative braking system was adapted. Therefore, unbalanced voltage and current of three phase system and the drop and rise of voltage of feeding circuit is expected. Now that building the substation, newly spends lots of costs and time, it is a very difficult situation to solve the problem. We can guess that electric railway line can't receive power from the power system of bigger size in building newly electric railway. In this paper, it was proved that series voltage compensator was suitable as a solution according to voltage drop and voltage fluctuating through computer simulation.

  • Recently, the number of consumers using digital online distribution platforms is increasing. This caused the rapid growth of the e-commerce market and increased delivery volume in urban areas. The logistics system, designed ar006Fund the city center to handle the delivery volume, operates a delivery system from the outskirts of the city to the urban area using cargo trucks. This maintains an ecosystem of high-cost and inefficient structures that increase social costs such as road traffic congestion and environmental problems. To solve this problem, research is being conducted worldwide to establish a high-efficiency urban joint logistics system using urban railway facilities and underground space infrastructure existing in existing cities. The joint logistics system begins with linking unmanned delivery automation services that link terminal delivery such as cargo classification and stacking, infrastructure construction that performs cargo transfer function by separating from passengers such as using cargo platform. To this end, it is necessary to apply the device to the vertical and horizontal transportation machine supporting the vertical transfer in the flat space of the joint logistics terminal, which is the base technology for transporting cargo using the transfer robot to the destination designated as a freight-only urban railway vehicle. Therefore, this paper aims to derive holistic viewpoints needs for design requirements for vertical and vertical transportation machines and freight transportation standard containers, which are underground railway logistics transport devices to be constructed by urban logistics ecosystem changes.

한국철도의 남만주철도주식회사 위탁경영시 특징에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Korean Railway Property during the South Manchuria Railway Period)

  • 본 논문은 조선철도에 대한 만주철도의 위탁경영에 대한 연구로서, 위탁경영 당시 조선철도는 조선총독부 관할하의 철도와는 다른 형태의 경영형태로 관리되었고, 약 8년후에 위탁이 해제되어 다시 조선철도가 직영되는 과정을 겪게 되었다. 이러한 국경을 넘어선 위탁경영의 방식은 매우 드문 형식이며 특히 사철 성격을 띤 만주철도의 운영으로 새로운 변화도 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 조선철도의 만주철도위탁 특징은 우리나라 철도 최초의 건설과 운영이 분리된 상하 분리모델이었으며, 국가적으로 교통과 행정이 분리된 사례였다. 또한 철도관련 영업영역이 확대되었고 사설철도가 많이 건설되고 운영 되었다. 마지막으로는 대륙과의 연계운송이 더욱 확대되었다. 이러한 분석을 통해 향후 동아시아의 철도운영에 관한 비교 연구와 조선철도의 성격을 분석하는데 주요한 자료로 활용될 것이다.

자동운전 도시철도차량의 운전특성을 고려한 절연구분장치 이론적 고찰 (Theoretical Study of Neutral Section Considering the Driving Characteristics of ATO Urban Railway Vehicle)

  • In this paper, proper length of neutral section and neutral section system configuration is proposed to minimize accidents if ATO urban railway vehicle stops maintaining the leading vehicles in air section at regular intervals. When considering the minimum voltage sensing of power conversion unit in the urban railway vehicle, the effective length of 14,280[mm] with neutral section can be minimized damage due to high current because the urban railway vehicle is very little present chance compare neutral section with pantograph interval installed on a unit vehicle. In addition, uplift of catenary line and contact wire consider to minimize damage. The result of theoretical review, as the proposed neutral section shorter, isolated neutral section is effective than the integrated neutral section.
