고속철도 적용을 위한 콘크리트 도상 분기기 개발 및 부설 (Construction and Development of Turnout on concrete roadbed applicable to high speed railway)

  • Since KHSL 2nd phase was adapted as a main track design, the interests of concrete slab track system have been gradually increased in the division of rail track engineering and many engineering companies have been trying to adapt a concrete slab track system at this moment. Advantages of this system proved in advanced country, japan and Germany etc. are excellent maintenance, track stability and increasing of buckling resistance This developed turnout is same with the KHSR 1st phase's design and applications rules, components and signaling system since it observes KTX specification. Comparing it with the former turnout, High-elasticity pad, lubrication-free roller slide plate and Rheda2000 PC sleeper are only different. The purpose of this study is the development of high speed turnout on concrete slab track and its application on site. Now these studies are going to show the verification and confidence about the interface between ballast-track and concrete slab track by finding and solving the possible problems when it is installed on site and to make these turnouts applied perfectly and completely on concrete slab track. Its first trial construction in korea had been successfully completed at Sangju-station on July 20th ,2007 thanks to KORAIL and KR. Hereunder Sampyo E&C trys to introduce all of turnout technologies on concrete slab track system with Rheda 2000 sleeper

The Use of Bituminous Subballast on Future High-Speed Lines in Spain: Structural Design and Economical Impact

  • The development of structural solutions for high-speed or very high-speed tracks that minimize total life cycle costs of the system is a key issue to improve the operational profitability of new investments. In opposition to conventional ballasted tracks, slab track solutions can be a cost-effective solution, but only in the cases where the benefits due to the increase in track availability and the reduction of track maintenance offsets its much higher construction costs. In the cases where such investment is not feasible, it is worth to evaluate possible structural improvements to ballasted track that allow reducing its maintenance needs without increasing too much its construction costs. This paper evaluates the design requirements and the impact of improving conventional high-speed ballasted tracks by using a bituminous subballast layer. It is divided into two main parts: first the design requirements of the structural solutions with bituminous subballast and its possible benefits on high-speed track deterioration, and secondly the evaluation of the economic impact, in terms of construction costs, of using this structural solution material in future Spanish high-speed lines.

고속철도 콘크리트궤도 체결구 최적 수직강성 (Optimal Vertical Stiffness of Fastener of Concrete Track in High-Speed Railway)

  • 궤도의 유지보수비와 전력소모비의 합이 최소로 되는 최적 체결구의 강성을 평가하여 가급적 이 값을 갖도록 체결구를 제작 및 유지관리하는 것은 국내 콘크리트궤도의 부설이 급격하게 증가하는 시점에서 철도의 경제성 제고 차원에서 중요한 과제라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 콘크리트궤도에서 궤도의 유지보수비와 차량운행에 따른 전력소모비의 합을 최소로 하는 최적 체결구 강성을 평가하는 방법을 제시한 후, 국내 고속철도 콘크리트궤도에 맞는 최적 체결구 강성을 평가하였다. 체결구 강성에 따른 궤도 유지보수비를 합리적으로 평가하기 위하여 콘크리트궤도에 적합한 체결구 강성에 따른 궤도손상모델을 제시하였으며, 궤도손상에 따른 궤도 유지보수비 상관관계를 도출하였다. 윤중 계산 시 고도화된 수치해석적 기법을 적용하여 각 궤도구성품의 거동특성이 반영될 수 있도록 함으로써 체결구 강성에 따른 윤중변동을 보다 정확하게 평가할 수 있도록 하였다.

국내 철도 노반 흙재료의 반복재하에 따른 영구변형 발생 특성 및 상관성 분석 (Characteristic Analysis of Permanent Deformation in Railway Track Soil Subgrade Using Cyclic Triaxial Compression Tests)

  • 철도궤도 상부 흙노반은 궤광으로부터 전달된 열차하중을 지지하고 분산하는 기능을 갖는다. 성토체의 일반적인 흙노반은 흙재료를 다짐하여 조성하며 차량 반복하중에 의해 공용중 잔류침하가 발생하는 데 일정부분 기여한다. 흙노반의 잔류침하는 회복불가능한 영구변형이어서 궤도틀림 등 궤도 안전성을 크게 저하시킨다. 그럼에도 불구하고 현재까지 흙노반재료에 대한 역학적 시험을 바탕으로 합리적인 잔류침하 관리기준이 제시된 바 없다. 반면에 흙노반의 현장관리 및 판정기준은 강성평가 또는 현장들밀도시험에 의해서만 이루어지고 있어 불합리하다. 본 연구에서는 흙노반이 경험하는 전단응력비(${\tau}/{\tau}_f$)와 구속압(${\sigma}_3$)을 수치해석을 통해 구하고 이를 반영한 실내 흙노반 영구변형시험방법을 제시하였다. 제시된 시험방법을 이용하여 대표적인 철도건설현장 흙노반 재료로 만든 다짐시편에 대하여 반복삼축시험을 실시하였으며 이로부터 향후 잔류침하의 추정에 활용할 수 있는 기본 영구변형예측모델 모델계수를 구속압 및 전단응력비 수준별로 제시할 수 있었다.

성남~여주 복선전철 부발차량기지 배선 효율성 검증 (Verification Efficiency the Trian Depot)

  • Recently the train indusrty come to the fore because of Punctual, eco-friendly transportation system and becoming the main transportation. The construction plans for the trian depot for train's maintenance and storage increase constantly. For past few years, there were many construction plans, Bubal train depot, Gwangju train depot, Duckha train depot. Proper track distribution plan is important to carry out the design of railway depot for efficient maintenance operation and train storage. Through the proper design of track distribution plan, we can shorten the moving time, train movement distance, waiting time in train depot. In this paper, the verification of the track distribution plan's efficiency and appropriateness for railway depot as Bubal train depot's plan is studied and analyzed with the train depot management simulation program-Posrail(v1.0).

  • In this study, the most important suspension characteristics of railway vehicle, such as primary and secondary stiffness, are optimized to maximize ride qualify. Critical speed, secondary suspension stroke oil tangent track and derailment coefficient on the maximum curvature, are selected as the performance constraints. Piecewise linear curving model is used to evaluate derailment coefficient where it is assumed that wheel/rail contacts occurs at tread or at idealized flange. The combined design procedure is used to optimize above design variables at the same time.

  • To carry out the evaluation of performance of railway product/system, 3 step verification process(design review-lab test-field test) should be done. In advanced countries, for the effective field test, test-only-oriented track have been constructed and used. In Korea, government announced "The construction plan of railroad test track" at 2009.06. This paper will summarize 'need of test track', 'technical meaning of test track', 'current status of foreign test track', 'fundamental plan and process strategy of Korea Railroad Test Track'. It is no need to say that the wisdom of all railroad related people is required for the successful construction and usage of Korea Railroad Test Track.

  • Recently the construction of railway sections passing the central area of cities and stations under railway lines are increasing, and then it is urgently required to take the countermeasures against the railway vibration and the second-phase noise radiated from it. The most efficient countermeasure, out of technologies developed up to now, is the floating slab track which is the track system isolated from the sub-structure by springs. In other countries, the source technologies for anti-vibration design and vibration isolator - one of key components - have been developed and many installation experiences have been accumulated. However, in Korea, since the system design technology and technologies for key components are not yet developed, the foreign system are being introduced without any adjustment, and the key component, vibration isolator, depends on imports. In this study, analysis on floating slab system installed rubber mat and stopper is carried for the examination on the safety of floating slab system.

  • Railway noise and vibration has been recognized as major problems with the speed-up of rolling stock. As a kind of solution to these problems, the decrease of stiffness of track pad have been tried. However, in this case, overturning of rail due to lateral force should be considered because it can have effect on the safety of running train. Therefore, above two things - decrease of stiffness of track pad and overturning of rail due to lateral force - should be considered simultaneously for the appropriate determination of spring coefficient of track pad. With this viewpoint, minimum spring coefficient of track pad is estimated through the comparison between the theoretical relationship about the overturning of rail and 3-dimensional FE analysis result. Two kinds of Lateral force and wheel load are used as input loads. Extracted values from the conventional estimation formula and the Shinkansen design loads are used. It is found that the overturning of rail changes corresponding to the change of the stiffness of track pad and the ratio of lateral force to wheel load. Moreover, it is found that the analysis model can have influence on the results. Through these procedure, minimum spring coefficient of track pad is estimated.
