PSCAD/EMTDC를 이용한 전기철도 전력공급시스템 해석모델개발 (Development of Analysis Model for Metro Railway Power System Using PSCAD/EMTDC)

  • A direct current electric power system is one of the most important power source in a metro railway system. As railway system is growing up today, the importance of DC electric power system is emphasized. The study for systemization and standardization of design and operation technique in DC electric power system is undergoing nowadays. For these studies, the development of standard analysis model for metro railway electric power system is required. In this paper, a standard analysis model for metro railway electric power system which is using PSCAD/EMTDC program is proposed. The proposed model is explained and the validity is shown by using the case studies.

효율적 방재시설을 위한 정량적 위험도 분석 (An effective prevention facilities for railway tunnel design by using Quantitative Risk Analysis)

  • Recently, as demands of new railway and the relocation of existing line, a number of tunnel structures have been constructed. Tunnel structures contribute to minimize the cost and time of transport, but in case of railway fire accident bring serious damages of human life caused by narrowness of shelter, smoke and high temperature, difficulty in rescue. For that reason, at the beginning of plan of tunnel, the optimum design of safety facility in tunnel for minimizing the risks and satisfying the safety standard is needed. In this study, QRA(Quantitative Risk Analysis) technique is applied to design of railway tunnel for assuring the safety function and estimating the risk of safety. The case study is carried out to verify the QRA technique for railway tunnels in Iksan-Sili.

EN 규격에 기반한 도시철도차량 차축의 경량화 (Weight Reduction of an Urban Railway Axle Based on EN Standard)

  • 도시 철도차량의 윤축은 차량 안전에 있어서 매우 중요하지만, 차량 전체의 중량에서 큰 비중을 차지하는 요소로서 철도차량의 경량화에 있어 필수적인 고려 대상이다. 본 연구에서는 현재 중실축인 한국형 표준전동차의 부수 차축과 동력 차축을 중공축화하여 경량화하고자 하였으며, 객관적인 강도 평가를 위해 EU의 차축 설계 및 강도 평가 기준을 적용하였다. 현재 중실 차축의 강도를 평가하고, 이와 동일한 하중 조건에서 중공화된 차축의 응력 수준을 계산하여 현실적으로 적용 가능한 중공축의 내경크기를 결정하고 경량화율을 추정하였다. 또한, 중실차축 및 중공차축에 대해 유한 요소 해석을 수행하여 계산 결과의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • To maintain the primary stage of design, it is not too much to say that drainage systems should has been to maintain the most factor in earthwork structures. The durability of earthwork structures has about over 90 years as like concrete structures and has easily used to construction materials. Even if is a good earthwork materials, it hasn't lose design life at inadequate drainage system. In case of railway was frequently performed a maintenance works after construction 5 years because embankment site hasn't installed a concrete duck. In this study, the drainage standard of railway reviews the technological levels of drainage system by comparing the code for design of railway and road.

바이모달 트램 차량용 차체 및 실내의장의 설계사양 (Design Specifications of Car body and Interiors for Bimodal Tram Vehicle)

  • Since tram has the advantages to reduce construction cost of infrastructure, to improve accessibility of passengers, and to offer visual pleasures, nowadays, it is one of light rails attracting public attention. Tram can be classified into two groups, one is a conventional steel-wheeled type, and the other is a rubber-tired type (bi-modal tram). The bi-modal tram propelled by the serial CNG hybrid propulsion unit has been developing since 2003 in Korea, which can realize both scheduled operation of railway and route flexibility of bus. Because the bimodal will be operated on both railway mode and bus mode, however, specific criteria and regulations for its design, certification, construction, operation and maintenance have not been determined definitely yet. In consideration of mobility enhancement for the old and the handicapped, motor vehicle safety standard and urban transit (railway vehicle) safety standard, several design specifications were proposed for car body and interiors of the bimodal tram vehicle. The design specifications proposed in this paper can be expected to promote passengers' comfort and safety, operation efficiency of the bimodal tram.

철도 옹벽 표준도의 신뢰도수준 및 LRFD 적용성 평가 (Estimation of Reliability Level and Applicability of LRFD Based on Standard Drawings of Railway Cantilever Retaining Walls)

  • 최근 지반공학 분야에서는 깊은기초와 얕은기초에 관한 한계상태설계법에 관한 연구가 선행되고 있으며, 옹벽구조물에 관한 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 본 연구는 철도 옹벽의 한계상태설계법을 도입하기 위한 기초 연구로써 옹벽 표준도의 파괴모드별 신뢰도지수가 목표신뢰도지수를 만족하는지를 평가하였으며, 옹벽 표준도에 대한 하중저항계수 설계를 수행함으로써 한계상태설계법의 적용성을 분석하였다. 철도 옹벽 표준도의 일부는 활동 및 지지력파괴에 대한 신뢰도지수가 목표신뢰도지수에 미달하며, 하중저항계수설계법에 의한 한계상태를 만족하지 못하여 한계상태설계 도입 시 철도 옹벽 표준도의 수정이 필요한 것으로 평가되었다.

장대 철도터널에서의 방재 안전성 평가에 관한 연구 (A study on the estimation of safety in long railway tunnel)

  • 최근 새로운 철도를 건설하거나 기존선로를 개량하기 위하여 터널의 건설이 급속히 증가하고 있으며, 점점 장대화 되고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 터널이 장대화됨에 따라 터널내에서의 화재사고 발생시 치명적인 대형사고의 가능성이 증대되고 있어, 장대터널에서의 안전성에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이러한 이유로 터널내 위험도를 최소화하고 터널방재기준을 만족시킬 수 있는 터널내 방재시설에 대한 최적의 설계기준이 요구되고 있으며, 장대 철도터널의 합리적인 설계를 위하여 터널 방재 안전성에 대한 정량적인 평가방법이 필요하다 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 정량적 위험도 분석방법인 QRA 기법을 장대터널에서의 방재 안전성 평가에 적용하여 그 유효성을 검토하고자 하였다. 적용사례에서는 장대터널에서의 갱외탈출로 개념의 사갱 및 수직구 계획을 수립하기 위하여 각각의 경우에 대한 QRA분석을 실시하고, 장대터널의 방재 안정성을 평가하므로서 실행 가능한 합리적인 수준의 터널 방재설계를 수행하고자 하였다.

  • A systematic methodology to determine safety requirements for railway signalling system and safety requirement allocation into system are presented. THR concept is used for as an interface between Risk Analysis to be performed by railway operator and System Design Analysis by the supplier. This approach is based on Signalling Safety Standard EN50129 by CENELEC.

  • This paper presents a review guideline for evaluating SERPs(standard emergency response procedure) in rail accidents. In order to develope it, design elements of the SERPs, that impact the performance of emergency responding personnel, were identified. Then several review guidelines and standards, being used in other industries including nuclear domain, were surveyed. Finally, the review guides and criteria corresponding to those elements were derived from the survey.

철도차량별 표준 설계화재곡선 연구 (Study of Standard Design Fire Curve of Various Railcar)

  • A study on the standardization of design fire HRR(heat release rate) curve was conducted for various railcar from the fire simulation or the fire tests. These standard curves are listed on the tunnel fire safety manual which will be used for the QRA(quantitative risk analysis) process of the long railway tunnels. The design fire curve is based with four simple factor representing the key of fire curve characteristics. Flashover time, maximum HRR and burn out time are the key factors of the design fire curve. Specially total heat release is decided by the burnable material amount in the car.
