대차 틸팅 기구의 매개변수 분석 연구 (Parametric Study of a Bogie Tilting Mechanism)

  • Using a conventional railway, a tilting train was applied as a means of improving vehicle speed during curve negotiation without any modification of infrastructure. As a study for the optimum design of the tilting mechanism of a tilting vehicle, the kinematics sensitivity of the tilting mechanism was analyzed. Using the geometric relationship of the linkage-type tilting mechanism, the relationship of the parameters and the performance index was defined using nonlinear algebraic equations. With the defined relation, the effect of change in the parameters on the performance was analyzed. The analysis result can be used in the optimum design of a tilting mechanism that considers the track environment, vehicle and operational condition in which the tilting vehicle is applied.

고속주행을 위한 화차 한량의 사행동 해석 (Analysis on the Snake Motion of One Freight Car for High Speed Running)

  • The development of railway vehicles involves the proper selection of design parameters not only to achieve high speed but also to reduce the vibration of the train. In this study an analytical model of a freight car is developed to find the critical speed. The freight car can generate the snake motion of the lateral and yawing motion of the car body, the bogie, and the wheelset. Numerical analysis for the nonlinear equation motions with 17 degrees of freedom showed the running stability and critical speed due to the snake motion. Also, the vibration modes of the freight car was calculated using ADAMS/RAIL, which showed that the critical speed have the yawing modes of the car body and the bogie. Finally this paper shows that the snake motion of the vehicle can be controlled with the modifications of the design parameters.

경량 복합재 대차프레임의 피로수명 및 강도 평가 (An Evaluation of Fatigue Life and Strength of Lightweight Bogie Frame Made of Laminate Composites)

  • 본 논문은 4-매 주자직 유리섬유/에폭시 적층 복합재가 적용된 철도차량 경량 대차프레임의 피로 수명 및 강도 평가에 대해 기술한다. 대차프레임 경량화 재질로 적용된 유리섬유/에폭시 4-매 주자직 적층 복합재료의 피로특성 평가를 위하여 경사, 위사 그리고 $0^{\circ}/90^{\circ}$ 방향으로 적층된 시험편에 대하여 인장-압축 피로시험을 수행하였다. 유리섬유/에폭시 4-매 주자직 적층 복합재료의 피로시험은 5Hz의 주파수, -1의 응력비(R), $10^7$의 피로수명을 갖도록 하였다. 또한, JIS E 4207의 하중조건에 따른 대차프레임의 피로강도 평가를 Goodman 선도를 통하여 수행하였다. 유리섬유/에폭시 적층 복합재 경량 대차프레임의 피로수명 및 강도 평가기준을 만족하였으며, 무게를 고려할 경우 기존 대차프레임 재질인 SM490A 금속재에 비하여 우수한 피로특성을 갖는다.

  • 본 논문은 철도차량 경량화 재질로 적용된 유리섬유/에폭시 4-매 주자직 적층 복합재료의 인장-압축 피로특성을 평가하였다. 유리섬유/에폭시 4-매 주자직 적층 복합재료의 인장-압축 피로시험은 경사, 위사 그리고 ${\pm}45^{\circ}$ 방향으로 적층된 시험편에 대하여 수행하였다. 인장-압축 피로시험은 5Hz의 주파수를 갖으며, 응력비(R)는 -1로 수행하였다. 인장-압축 피로시험 수행 시 압축하중에 의한 시험편의 좌굴을 방지하기 위하여 좌굴방지지그를 설계하고 이를 시험에 적용하였다. 또한, Goodman 선도는 유리섬유/에폭시 4-매 주자직 적층 복합재의 피로특성과 수명을 평가하기 위해 사용하였다. 유리섬유/에폭시 4-매 주자직 적층 복합재료의 인장-압축 피로시험결과 경사방향 적층 복합재의 피로특성이 기존 금속재 대차에 적용되는 SM490에 비하여 우수한 것으로 나타났다.

TTX 차량의 능동 현가장치 설치 및 수정 작업 개선을 위한 대차/차체 인터페이스 볼스터 개발 (Bogie/Carbody Interface Bolster Development for the Installation of Active Suspensions and the Modification Operation Improvement of TTX Vehicle)

  • The carbody underframe of TTX vehicle should be modified a lot for the installation of new devices such as an active suspension system between the bogie and the carbody of TTX vehicle, because the carbody underframe is one body structure consisting of a center sill welded with a carbody bolster. Modification operation of the carbody takes a lot of time and cost, because the huge sized carbody structure should be moved to a machining apparatus and machined to guarantee the manufacture accuracy of new device installation brackets. For this reason, modification operation improvement is needed to install new devices more efficiently between the bogie and the carbody. This paper introduce the development of 'bogie/carbody interface bolster' that not only supports the carbody weight but also enables new devices to be installed more efficiently between the bogie and the carbody. This development has advantage to reduce working time and cost to install new devices such as an active suspension system between the bogie and the carbody by minimizing the modification of the carbody of TTX vehicle.

  • 중앙 안내방식의 모노레일대차 구조는 세계최초로 인천 월미모노레일에 적용되었으며, 대차프레임 소재 또한 우리나라에서는 최초로 알루미늄 재질을 사용하였다. 대차는 수직하중과 수평하중을 노면과 가이드 레일에 전달하는 중요한 시스템으로서 내구성이 충분한 구조를 가지고 있어야 할 뿐만 아니라, 우수한 주행 성능과 승차감이 확보되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 중앙 안내방식의 모노레일에 적합한 대차 구조를 비롯하여 대차의 주행성능 및 승차감을 확보할 수 있는 시스템 구성 방법은 물론 대차프레임의 내구성을 향상 시킬 수 있는 방안에 대해 제시하였다.

한국형 틸팅 조향 대차의 성능 최적화를 위한 주행 성능 분석 (Running performance analysis for the optimization of Korean tilting steering bogie)

  • Because present road traffic reaches to the limitation of its faculty, Korean tilting train was developed to find the solution by increasing the speed of rail road. A tilting train can run on a curved rail at high speed so it improves a speed of a rail transit without constructing a new line. Only minimum modification is necessary for a existing line. According to above requirement, Korean tilting train was developed in 2007 and the try run has been executing since April, 2007 in order to validate its safety and reliability in a service lines. And this test and estimation will be completed in 2009. After completing a try run, main parts of tilting train will be studied again to commercialize and localize including a bogie and its commercial model design will be finalized by 2012. In order to achieve the development target as mentioned above, the study have been done to improve the bogie system. As the first step to design commercialized bogie system, measurements from the try run and a dynamic analysis were used to find problems of present bogie system well. So this project is performed to decide what parts of the bogie should be modified in basis of this result.

  • Air brake system of KTX effectively distributes air to brake panel in each bogie. System consists of carrying bogie brake panel, motor bogie brake panel, driver's valve panel, pneumatic auxiliary panel and other accessories. For the prove endurance, confirm test number. Distributor and control moderable magnet valve are 500,000 times and respectively, carrying bogie MR/BP cut-out cock are 12,000 times. Tests satisfy all of condition until now. Developments conduct a performance test to brake tester of domestic manufacturer and operating authority.

경량화된 대차프레임의 동적특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Dynamic Characteristics of a Weight-Reduced Bogie Frame)

  • A shape optimization of a rib of a bolster of a bogie frame is attempted and a dimension optimization on upper and lower plates is also carried out for the reduction of the weight of bogie frame. In addition, the dynamic characteristics of the weight reduced model are investigated by an analysis of a natural frequency and a transient analysis. The results show that the first natural frequency of an optimized model is larger than that of the lowest design value. And the results of transit analysis based on the experimental stress also show smaller value than the yield stress. Thus the optimized model attempted in this study is considered to be structurally stable and useful for the improvement of railway carriages.

  • Bogie frame of the electric car is an important structural member for the support of vehicle leading. In general, more than 25 years' durability is necessary. A lot of study has been carried out for the prediction of the structural integrity of the bogie frame in experimental and theoretical domains. One of the useful methods is reliability-based approach. The objective of this paper is to estimate the structural integrity of the bogie frame of an electric car, which is under the running test. We used two approachs. In the first approach probabilistic distribution of S-N curve is used. In the second approach, limit state function is used.
