철도전기 분야 근무자들의 철도 관련 근무 특성이 스트레스에 미치는 융합적 영향 요인 (Convergence Influential Factors on Stress of Workers in the Field of Railroad Electricity by the Railroad Work Characteristics)

  • 이 연구는 철도신호를 포함한 철도전기 분야 근무자를 대상으로 이들의 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 철도 관련 근무 특성을 알아보고자 하였다. 2017년 2월 13일부터 3월 10일까지 자기기입식 설문을 실시하여 최종 445건에 대해 분석을 실시하였다. 객관적 근무 특성에는 총 근무기간, 현 근무지, 근무형태, 열차 운행 횟수, 열차 노선유형, 담당하는 열차 종류, 장애/사고 투입 횟수, 휴일 출근 여부, 근무시간을 포함하였으며 주관적 근무 특성에는 직장생활만족도, 주관적 업무 강도를 포함하였다. 이변량 분석결과 모든 철도 관련 근무 특성별로 스트레스에 차이를 보였다. 다변량 분석 결과 총 근무기간, 열차 운행 횟수, 담당하는 열차 종류, 휴일 출근 여부, 직장생활만족도, 주관적 업무 강도가 스트레스의 영향요인으로 확인되었다. 객관적 근무 특성과 스트레스와의 관계에서 주관적 근무 특성들의 조절 효과는 확인되지는 않았다. 따라서 이들 스트레스 영향요인에 대한 회사 차원의 관심 및 스트레스 관리가 필요할 것이다.

Development of Safety Equipment using Laser Radar Sensor for Railway Platform

  • Many casualties are being occurred due to many misses the railway platform, and the accident occurrence is being increased. Recently in Korea, efforts to prevent casualties fundamentally are being made by installing and operating the PSD(Passenger Screen Door) as to prevent these casualties of passengers. However, in case of the PSD system, although it can solve the problem of public casualties at platform fundamentally, it is impossible to install it at whole railway platforms. This paper proposes the safety equipment using LaserRadar sensor for the prevention against casualties of passengers at platform. The safety equipment using novel sensor is the safety equipment making an approaching train stopped if the falling object is a person by detecting the obstacle at platform, and it has the merit possible to apply it to platform since it may detect accurately under ambient environmental elements such as the snow, rain and yellow dust, etc. also. We manufactured a prototype of the safety equipment to reduce public casualties at platform by using LaserRadar sensor and carried out its performance test, and the result is presented in this paper.

철도분야 최적유지보수(RCM) 시스템 구축에 관한 연구 (A Case Study on the Application of RCM to Railway System)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to propose that domestic rail must the work to be done in the RCM system and railway operators are to present a direction to establish the efficient and systematic system based on this. Methods : In recent years, domestic railway accidents has decreased year rapidly every year. In particular, suicidal ideation was greater than 50% of the accidents is showing a larger decrease in the influence of the screen-door construction. However, the train delay has been maintained without major changes since 2010. The most important cause of the delay operation is a vehicle breakdown. This fact demonstrates that effective maintenance of the most important activities in the railway accident prevention activities. So we have to build a RCM system in which the characteristics of the domestic railway accident. Conclusion : We proposed what is necessary functionality and the function requires a railway operators in RCM railway systeml.

CRASHWORTHY DESIGN AND EVALUATION ON THE FRONT-END STRUCTURE OF KOREAN HIGH SPEED TRAIN

  • An intensive study was conducted for the crash worthy structural design of the recently developed Korean High Speed Train (KHST). Two main design concepts were set up to protect both crews and passengers from serious injury in heavy collision accidents, and to reduce damage to the train itself in light collision accidents. A collision against a movable 15-ton rigid obstacle at 110 kph was selected from train accident investigations as the accident scenario for the heavy collisions. A train-to-train collision at the relative velocity of 16 kph was used for the light collision. The crashworthiness behaviors of KHST were numerically evaluated using FEM. Analysis results using 1-D collision dynamics model of the full rake consist and 3-D shell element model of the front end structure showed good crashworthy responses in a viewpoint of structural design. Occupant analyses and sled tests demonstrated that KHST performed well enough to protect occupants under the considered accident scenarios. Finally our numerical approaches were evaluated by a real scale collision test.

  • Though the probability of tunnel fire accident is very low, but critical fatalities are expected when it occurred. In this study the effect of critical safety parameters on tunnel fire accident are examined using probabilistic technique. Fire detection time, smoke spread velocity, passenger escape velocity, flash-over time, and emergency service arrival time are considered. In order to estimate the uncertainties of input parameters Monte Carlo simulation are used, and fatalities for each assumed accident scenarios are obtained as results. For the efficiency of iterative calculation PRA(Probabilistic Risk Analysis) code is developed in this study. As a result fire detection have large effect.

인장형 에너지흡수부재를 이용한 철도차량용 장애물제거기 연구 (Study on Obstacle Deflector of a Railway Vehicle Using Tension-type Energy Absorbers)

  • 장애물제거기는 선로 내 장애물에 의한 충돌사고 발생 시 장애물을 선로 밖으로 밀어내거나 에너지흡수부재를 통해 충돌에너지를 흡수하여 열차 탈선을 방지하고 충돌사고에 의한 피해를 최소화하기 위한 장치이다. 본 연구에서는 인장형 에너지흡수부재와 4절 링크를 이용하여 장애물제거기의 작동 메커니즘을 구성하여 장애물제거기를 설계하였다. 또한 EN 15227에서 요구하는 정적강도 및 에너지흡수조건을 확인하기 위한 성능검증시험 방법을 고안한 뒤 유한요소해석 및 UTM (Universal Test Machine)을 이용한 성능검증시험을 수행하였다. 본 연구를 통해 EN 15227의 요구조건을 만족하는 장애물제거기를 개발하였으며, 제안된 장애물제거기의 설계 및 검증 절차에 따라 붕괴하중의 조절이 가능하며 이를 실험을 통해 검증할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다.

Domestic Helicopter Accident Analysis using HFACS & Dirty Dozen

  • Safety can be defined as being maintained or reduced to a level below which the possibility of human or physical harm can be tolerated through continuous identification of risks and safety risk management. FAA, EASA, IATA and Boeing, major organizations that conduct research and analysis for aviation safety around the world, report that about 70 percent of aviation accidents are caused by human factors, which have led to a surge in interest in human factors-induced accident prevention activities around the world. As part of this purpose, the FAA in the U.S. is raising awareness among aviation workers by publicizing the 12 human errors (Boeing, 2016), which account for the largest part of aviation accidents under the theme of Dirty Dozen, to prevent aviation accidents. Therefore, based on the domestic helicopter accidents reported to the Air Railroad Accident Investigation Committee from 2007 until recently, this study aims to use HFACS to extract human factors for the six recent helicopter accidents in Korea, analyze the extracted human factors in conjunction with the Dirty Dozen concept, and then present measures to prevent accidents by item.

프로필렌의 철도 수송에 따른 정량적 위험성 평가 (The Quantitative Risk Analysis in Rail Transport of Propylene)

  • 본 논문은 철도를 통해 운송되는 프로필렌의 사고위험을 정량적으로 분석하였다. 프로필렌의 수송 경로에 따라 사고 시 피해 위험이 높을 것으로 예상되는 지역인 익산역, 순천역, 전주역으로 대상지역을 선정하였다. 프로필렌의 운송 중 일어날 수 있는 사고유형을 고려한 후 ETA(Event Tree Analysis)를 이용하여 사고시나리오 및 발생빈도를 도출하였고, PHAST 6.53(Process Hazard Analysis Software Tool)을 이용하여 사고피해예측 평가 실시하여 주변에 미치는 피해정도를 산정함으로써 개인적.사회적 위험성정도를 제시하였다.

  • Korea's first tram (so called "tram"), which was commenced the operation on May 4, 1899 of late Joseon Dynasty and run until 1968, played a pivotal role of public transportation. However, tram as new transportation mean is being recognized as traffic congestion problem becomes issue due to geometric automobile increase and reckless urban plan after stoppage of tram service. Tram has an advantage of inexpensive construction cost and eco-friendly means compared to existing and city railway, carrying more passengers rather than existing bus, excellent connectivity of existing transportation because of easy accessible to destination in the city center. Therefore, tram, what is called "Green Rvolution of Public Transportation", has a dreaming of revival and in the process of pushing. We suggest the accident type which might break out in the early stage of tram introduction and preventive measures by surveying the accident cases of tram advanced country, and study the crossing control measures.
