부본선 및 정차패턴을 고려한 고속철도 정거장 용량산정 (Station Capacity Calculation on High-Speed Railway Considering the number of Sidings and Train Halting Patterns)

  • 본 연구에서는 산식에 기반 한 고속철도 정거장 선로용량 계산 방법론을 제시하였다. 제시한 방법론은 기존 방법론에서 명시적으로 다루지 못하였던 정거장별 부본선(정차본선) 설치 수와 정차패턴(정차-정차, 통과-정차, 정차-통과, 통과-통과)의 혼합이 선로용량에 미치는 영향을 반영한다. 제시한 선로용량 계산 결과의 일관성을 검증하기 위해 전문 시뮬레이터(Railsys)를 활용하여 비교한 결과 정차패턴별 시격의 차이는 10% 미만으로 분석되었다. 정차패턴이 조합되었을 때의 효과를 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션 한 결과 역시 계산된 선로용량은 현실성이 높은 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 한국철도시설공단 선로배분프로그램의 용량산정 결과와도 통계적으로 유사하였다.

COVID-19 전후 도시철도 승차인원 시계열 군집분석을 통한 역세권 군집별 대응방안 고찰 (A Study on the Response Plan by Station Area Cluster through Time Series Analysis of Urban Rail Riders Before and After COVID-19)

  • COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019) 확산으로 2020년 초부터 도시철도 등 대중교통수단의 이용량이 크게 변동하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 COVID-19 이전과 COVID-19 확산 이후, 3년 동안 도시철도 역별 일별 시계열 자료를 수집하여 DTW (Dynamic Time Warping) 거리법을 통해 시계열 군집분석 유사도를 평가하여 군집 별 회귀 중앙치를 도출하고, COVID-19 등 여러 외부 사건이 이용객 수의 변동에 미치는 영향을 시계열 충격 탐지 함수(Outlier Detection)로 진단하였다. 또한 도시철도 역의 군집 별 이용 특성을 분석하고 또한 외부 충격에 따른 승객량의 변동을 파악하였다. 향후 COVID-19 재확산 시 이용량의 유지와 회복에 대한 방안을 검토하는 데 목적을 두었다.

경량전철 개발에 따른 경제적 파급효과 분석 연구 (The Feasibility Study of a Light Rail Transit Development)

  • 경량전철시스템은 대도시내 주요 거점을 연결하는 간선교통, 지하철 노선이 닿지 못하는 지역의 교통수요를 기존 지하철에 연결시키는 개념의 지선 및 순환교통, 그리고 공항, 위락지역 등 대단위 교통 밀집지역의 접근교통 등의 역할을 한다. LIM, 노면전차, 모노레일 도입시 시장성과 경제성분석을 통해 각 시스템의 도입 타당성을 제시하고 국내 환경에 적합한 시스템 개발 및 향후 국외 시장의 선점효과를 정량적으로 제시하고자 하였다. 이에 경량전철의 특징 및 국내외 도입현황을 분석하였으며, 경제적 타당성 분석을 위해 산업연관분석을 하여 매출 및 부가가치를 전망하고 최종적으로 비용-편익 분석을 수행한 결과 대상 시스템 모두 경제성이 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 비용편익비율은 향후 경량전출 도입은 효율성으로 의미하기 보다는 사업성의 유무 판단으로 사용하는 것이며, 모든 시스템에 있어 경제성이 있는 것으로 판단된 만큼, 노선별 특성에 맞는 시스템 도입을 위한 다양한 방식의 경량전철 개발이 필요함을 알 수 있다.

경부고속철도 콘크리트궤도에서의 속도대역별 궤도 및 노반 동적응답특성 연구 (Study on the dynamic response characteristics of the concrete track and roadbed during the speed up tests of Gyungbu high_speed rail)

  • The concrete track was applied for Gyungbu 2nd phase high_speed railroad line as a basic track structure. Two track structures, ballasted track and non_ballasted concrete track, have a different train load transfer mechanisms. However, it's rare to see about research results related with it. So, to understand dynamic response characteristics of the concrete track and roadbed, we measured accelerations of carbody and bogie, vertical and lateral load, stress and displacement of rail, and earth pressures of subgrade at ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$k930 station of Gyungbu high_speed line during speed up tests before opening it. Based on these measured results, we could evaluate the level of dynamic responses of the track quantitatively.

  • The Wolmi Eunha-Rail in Incheon is connecting Wolmido and Incheon Station with an elevated monorail road supported by piers. This railroad system is characterized by driverless automatic operation and moving-block based control. The main technology applied to this signal-controlled system is CBTC (Communications-Based Train Control) which based on wireless communications. The CBTC system is simple in that composition so that can minimize field facilities and lowers costs of construction and maintenance. This CBTC system is emerging as a major signal-controlled system in the future metro market.

  • This comparative study means the case studies about not only coalition and partnership but also competition between high speed rail and other transportation modes. Therefore, I reviewed the each case about some countries and tried to develop for making some measurement. However, in this study, some bounds and limits exists owing to the descriptive reviews but not detailed analyses. Hereafter, I am planning to consider the management plan for efficient railway coalition with other transportation at the rail station and other terminal facilities.

  • In this paper, we performed analysis and comparison on emergency response action for passengers, drivers, workers and controllers in case of failure occurrence on rail infrastructure and rolling stock. In general, the subjects of emergency response action perform the response action with following emergency response procedures when accidents occurred. In reality, however, no matter how well the subjects are trained, it is hard to follow the emergency response procedures precisely without making any mistakes. As for emergency response action, the most significant factor for the subjects is to follow the emergency response procedures as learned, without any hesitation. In this paper, therefore, we analyzed the emergency response actions that should be performed by passengers and railway workers when emergency accidents occurred. We also examined the communication facilities for emergency response among train, wayside and station in order to provide the emergency reporting system for passenger and the method for cleaning out the accident area.

  • When the high speed train (KTX) departs from station in the high-speed line, sometimes on board signal disappears, which causes a hindrance of the operation punctuality, therefore, we have a research objective to verify the causes of hindrance and to find an improvement plan. In the process of research, when train left, we applied sand on the rail to improve adhesive power, whose sand has an effect on the ATC(Automatic Train Control) signal wave.   • In order to scheme the optimal assumption that satisfies the travel demand, it should be review the elements that affect on determining the headway, which are signal systems, line shape, vehicle(Light Rail Transit) performance, and so on. When applying the conventional signal systems, including Fixed Block System and Moving Block System, It was confirmed whether or not satisfy the requirements of target line with the way of a numerical formula reviewing and Train performance Simulation on the main line, station, depot, and so forth. Therefore, it should be used as references that decide target line and each sub-system after identifying the compliances for Minimum Headway to Moving Block System.

  • The subway, a typical electrified transit, is operated by the 1500 V DC-powered system with the overhead positive feeder and the rails negative return. This return path would bring about considerable stray current circuits, that is, from the bottom of rails to sell and then to the station ground, unless the rail-to-soil resistance is sufficiently high. The stray current can cause electrolytic corrosion of subway metallic structures and adjacent underground utilities. In this paper, we reports on-site investigation of the stray current condition, especially influenced by drainage method. The drainage method including both forced drainage and polarized drainage, extensively adopted as a countermeasure for electrolytic corrosion of underground pipelines, was found out to exert a harmful influence upon rail components as well as the pipelines.
