구형 유전체 위에 있는 구형 패치의 공진 특성과 방사 특성 (Resonance Characteristics and Radiation Characteristics of a Spherical Patch on a Dielectric Sphere)

  • 본 논문에서는 구형 유전체 위에 있는 구형 패치의 전파 특성으로서 공진 특성과 방사 특성을 분석하였다. 공진 주파수와 Q를 계산하여 특정 모드의 공진 특성을 해석하였으며, 원거리에서의 전기장을 계산하여 방사 특성을 해석하였다. 구형 유전체의 해석을 위해 스펙트럴 영역 해석법(spectral domain analysis method)를 적용하였으며, Vector Legendre transform pair와 Galerkin's method를 이용하여 스펙트럴 영역으로 변환한 후 대수식으로 정리하여 효율적인 계산을 할 수 있었으며, 이를 통해 구형 패치의 반지름이나 곡률, 유전체의 특성이 구형 패치의 특성에 미치는 영향을 해석하였다.

  • The development of the frequency converter using semiconductor enables to easily control the speed of A.C. motors. It is now technically possible and economically feasible to provide them with power at variable frequency, using silicon-controlled-rectifier (or thyristor) inverters. In such a case, if an induction motor is to be operated efficiently over a wide speed range, it must be supplied from a variable-frequency source whose frequency is adjustable over a range similar to that required for the motor speed. It is desired to observe how several characteristics are changed such as primary current, torque-speed, etc. Although the characteristics could be obtained by means of the conventional method, it requires very complicated calculation. It is assumed that the charateristics above are easily investigated by means of current diagram method from variable circuit constants relating to the motor which is designed in rated frequency. In this paper, the results of the study on the current-diagram method and its application are described as follows; (1) In order to discuss the construction of current diagram, the equation of the stator current with adjustable frequency was derived for applying the Current Diagram Method. (2) The radius, the center of the current circle and current vector locus at any desired frequency could be easily determined with the aid of both above mentioned equation and the standard current diagram at reference frequency. (3) This method could be applicable to the various types of Induction Motors, and this paper has dealt with its application to the capacitor, split-phase and 2-phase types of motors.

  • In recent years, design of an optimal blank shape is very important for sheet metal forming process in the automobile industry because the raw material cost rate is significant part in the automobile industry. With the design of an optimal blank shape, the engineer can protect a blank from an excessive holding force to improve the quality and reduce the ratio of material scrap. Therefore design of an optimal blank shape is inevitable in sheet metal forming process. However, if it causes a complicated shape of blank, it may be difficult to do the blank layout optimally. In this study, we developed software of optimal blank layout connected with the software of optimal blank shape design which was created in the past by the present authors. And by using these softwares, we would like to present the method in order to get optimal utilization ratio easily and precisely within short time for the sequence of works from design to blank layout.

  • This paper introduces the concept of fixed weights and proposes an algorithm for classification by adding this concept to vector space separation method in LVQ. The proposed algorithm is based on competitive learning. It uses fixed weightsfor generality and fast adaptation efficient radius for new weight creation, and L1 distance for fast calcualtion. It can be applied to many fields requiring adaptive learning with the support of generality, real-tiem processing and sufficient training effect using smaller data set. Recognition rate of over 98% for the train set and 94% for the test set was obtained by applying the suggested algorithm to on-line handwritten recognition.

난성형부품의 성형공정개발을 위한 디지털트라이아웃 (Digital Tryout Technique for the Conventional Stamping Process of Hard-to-Form Parts)

  • A tryout is a series of process optimization for robust stamping before transfer to the press shop. During tryout, the drawbead control, blank shape determination, binder surface modification, etc., are carried out mainly by a trial-and-error approach. As the level of difficulty of the stamping process increases, the formability becomes more sensitive to the contour of deformed shape, i.e. the blank shape. A digital tryout technique, which simulates a real tryout process, is proposed in this study for challenging stamping processes. Since digital tryout is carried out on a desktop, not in a press shop, a precise control of the deformed contour can be achieved if an optimal blank design technique is utilized. In this work, the proposed digital tryout technique is validated by successful applications to different automotive parts.

(2) The radius, center of the current circle and the vector locus, the basis for calculating the characteristics, at any desired frequency could be easily determined with the aid of both the derived graphical chart and current circle at reference frequency. (3) The method was shown to be applicable to the various types of 3-phase induction motors and also dealt with its application to the split-phase, condenser motors.

다중회귀모형에서 전진선택과 후진제거의 기하학적 표현 (Geometrical description based on forward selection & backward elimination methods for regression models)

  • 다중회귀모형에서 변수선택법 중에서 전진선택과 후진제거의 과정을 기하학적으로 표현하는 그래픽적 방법을 제안한다. 반지름이 1인 반원의 제1사분면에는 전진선택 과정을, 제2사분면에는 후진제거 과정을 표현한다. 각 단계에서 회귀제곱합을 벡터로 표현하고, 추가제곱합 또는 부분결정계수를 벡터 사이의 각도로 나타내며 벡터의 끝을 연결할 때 통계적으로 유의하면 점선으로 표현하여 부분가설검정의 통계적 분석결과를 인지할 수 있도록 작성한다. 이 방법을 이용하면 전진선택과 후진제거 방법에 의한 최종모형을 비교 분석하고 전체적으로 모형의 적합도를 파악할 수 있다.

  • 이차원 초음속 코안다 유동의 특성에 관한 실험적 연구가 진행되었다. 다양한 슬롯높이대 코안다 벽의 곡률반경 비 및 표면거칠기, 그리고 제트의 전압 변화에 대하여 충격파 구조 및 이력현상과 같은 코안다 유동의 특성이 유동가시화를 통하여 관찰되었다. 그 결과 초음속 코안다 제트의 이력현상은 코안다 표면거칠기의 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 강한 압축성 주제트의 추력편향제어를 위하여 이러한 동축류 코안다 유동이 적용되었고, 이 경우 유체역학적 추력제어의 성능은 코안다 플랩의 곡률반경에 대한 슬롯높이의 비 뿐만 아니라 주제트의 전압에 큰 영향을 받음이 확인되었다.

LRF 센서를 이용한 글로벌 맵 기반의 적응형 이동 장애물 회피 알고리즘 개발 (Development of Adaptive Moving Obstacle Avoidance Algorithm Based on Global Map using LRF sensor)

  • 본 논문에서는 고정된 장애물이 포함된 글로벌 맵 환경에서 LRF 센서만을 가진 자율이동 로봇이 이동장애물을 회피하기 위한 알고리즘을 제안한다. 우선 이동장애물을 회피하기 위해 LRF 거리 센서 데이터와 글로벌 맵을 이용하여 이동장애물을 추출한다. 추출된 이동장애물과 자율이동 로봇의 상대적인 벡터 성분의 합을 이용해 타원 형태의 안전반경을 생성한다. 생성된 안전반경을 고려하여 자율이동 로봇이 이동장애물을 회피하고 목적지에 도착할 수 있도록 한다. 제안된 알고리즘을 검증하기 위해 정량적인 분석 방법을 사용하여 기존 알고리즘과 비교하고 분석한다. 분석 방법은 이동장애물이 없을 때를 기준으로 제안된 알고리즘과 기존의 알고리즘의 경로의 길이와 주행 시간을 비교한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 이동장애물의 상대적 속도와 방향을 고려하여 회피할 수 있어서 경로와 주행 시간 모두 기존의 알고리즘보다 높은 성능을 보인다.
