  • This study retrospectively analyzed the test results of 113 healthy postmenopausal women without special diseases among patients who visited a medical institution in Busan from January 2020 to June 2021. The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of BMI (Body Mass Index) on bone density in menopause women, the analysis of the lumbar and femur of patients with low weight (BMI<18.5) showed a significant probability (p-value) of 0.000, and the normal weight (18.5≦BMI<23.0) of the femur. In overweight (23.0≦BMI<25.0), the significance probability (p-value) of the lumbar region was 0.021 and the significance probability (p-value) of the femur was 0.034, confirming the correlation. However, in patients with high obesity (30.0≦BMI<40.0), the p-value of the lumbar region was 0.127, and the p-value of the femur was 0.093, indicating that there was no correlation between BMI and bone density.

  • The designed drone-based unmanned remote radiation detection module was developed according to the needs of the nuclear power plant decommissioning workshop. Using the Geiger-Mueller tube sensitive to low-level radiation measurement, It was manufactured to measure the amount of radiation leaking into and out of the containment vessel. The drone-based radiation detection module weighs less than 200g, It can be operated inside and outside the containment vessel of a nuclear power plant. To check the performance of the designed equipment, a performance evaluation test was conducted with reference to the international standard (IEC-60864). The stability of the radiation detection module designed to meet the needs of the field the statistical rate of change by repeated measurements in the rate of change experiment to evaluate the measurement accuracy was ±4.6%. The accuracy ±7.3% in the linearity experiment to evaluate the dose rate dependence, the linear The figure satisfies the international performance evaluation standard of ±3.5%. The radiation detection module developed in this study is a customized equipment for a nuclear power plant dismantling workshop. It will be helpful for accurate measurement of space dose rate and safety management of radiation worksites in sites with a lot of radiation dust.

  • In this study, present the most useful delay scan time by statistical analysis of SUVm data for 30 suspected pancreatic cancer patients. Two statistical analysis and a mathematical model was applied to the theoretical formula by glucose and insulin mechanics, and a mathematical model was created. Statistical analysis was performed via Metlab p/g. Optimal delay scan time was suggested by Metlab p/g for the change of SUV value over time.In this study, for diagnosis pancreatic cancer by dual time point PET/CT, propose optimal delay scan time 131.5 minuts. The proposed delay scan time showed statistical reliability applicable to the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer (p<0.05). Delayed scanning with the suggested delay scan time of 131.5 minutes is considered to be useful for the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer compared to general PET / CT scan.hen the delayed test is performed with the proposed delay scan time 131.5 minuts, Compared with general PET/CT scans.

  • The number of CT examinations is increasing, and radiation exposure is also increasing. repeated tests can affect the lens and thyroid. In hospitals, there is a tendency to lack interest in major long-term radiation exposure compared to the interest in increasing image information and image quality with head CT. In this study, we analyzed the improvement of image quality by proposed method to the noisy CT images. The proposed denoising method total variance optimization only for the impulsive noise candidate pixels. Experimental results show that edge information is well preserved and impulse noise can be effectively removed. and worked very well for the images according to tube voltage and rotation time. applied to the clinical setting, it can be used as the lowest exposure condition without worrying about the image quality and it will be helpful for the CT application.

  • Research on effective dose analysis of actual conditions of use based on large data is scarce. In this study, the exposure conditions of Chest X-Ray examinations used by 324 medical institutions in Korea were calculated and evaluated using computer simulations. As a result of the experiment, the effective dose in the low energy parameter bands was 0.024 mSv, followed by spleen, adrenal glands, and lung. The effective dose in the high-energy exposure parameter band was 0.123 mSv, followed by height, spleen and adrenal glands. The effective dose was 0.017 mSv when the optimal conditions considered the quality and exposure proposed in Park's study were used. The results of the study will be a reference for chest X-rays and will help reduce patient exposure.

  • Obesity is increasing in our country due to lack of lifestyle and physical activity. Semi-automatic program is used in existing fat calculation program using computed tomography. Although methods for solving related problems have been proposed, this study proposes an algorithm using morphology operation and We want to solve the problem with a new method that has a simple procedure and a relatively small amount of computation. As a result of repetition of erosion and expansion Automatic fat mass calculation can be done in the future by using the developed partitioning result. By providing an accurate segmentation tool, it will be helpful to doctors and reduce the expense and inspection cost of retesting. through morphology operation, it was found that the problem was solved from the image.Automatic fat mass calculation can be done in the future by using the developed partitioning result. • In the linear transformation method, the original image is divided into a plurality of range blocks, and a partial transform system for finding an optimal domain block existing in the image for each range block is used to adjust the performance of the compression ratio and the picture quality, The nonlinear transformation method uses only the rotation transformation among eight shuffle transforms. Since the search is performed only in the limited domain block, the coding time is faster than the linear transformation method of searching the domain block for any block in the image, Since the optimal domain block for the range block can not be selected in the image, the performance may be lower than other methods. Therefore, the nonlinear transformation method improves the performance by increasing the approximation degree of the brightness coefficient conversion instead of selecting the optimal domain block, The smaller the size of the block, the higher the PSNR value, The higher the compression ratio is increased groups were quadtree block divided to encode the image at best.

  • In this study, shielding analysis of material and thickness of 3D printer filaments was performed for the manufacture of custom shielding by radiation workers during outdoor radiographic test. The shielding was attached to the ICRU Slab Phantom after selecting the voxel source $^{192}Ir$ and $^{75}Se$ through simulation using MCNPX, and the distance between the source and the slab Phantom was set at 100 cm. The 12 shielding materials were divided into 5 mm units up to 200 mm from the absence of shielding materials to evaluate the energy absorbed per unit mass of each shielding material. The results showed that the shielding effect was high in the order of ABS + Tungsten, ABS + Bismuth, PLA + Copper, PLA + Iron from all sources of radiographic test. However, compared to lead, the shielding effect was somewhat lower. Based on this study in the future, further study of the atomic number and the high density filament material is necessary.

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the effective energy of CT X-ray beams by using the CT slice images of a CT number calibration insert part in the AAPM CT performance phantom. The CT number calibration insert part in the AAPM CT performance phantom was scanned five times by using a CT canner for 80, 100 and 120 kVp X-ray beams. The average value of CT numbers of each pin were measured for each CT slice image. The correlation coefficients were obtained by linear fit between the average value of CT numbers measured and liner attenuation coefficient under different energy at each pin calculated from data of NIST. A photon energy corresponding to the maximum value of the obtained correlation coefficient was determined as an effective energy. As a result, the effective energy was 56, 62 and 66~67 keV, respectively, for 80, 100 and 120 kVp X-ray beams.

  • This study is a retrospective analysis of the results of tests at three general hospitals in Busan that perform mammography using digital mammography devices. There were 5,320 people in the study, and the results of their breast cancer screening were analyzed to verify the efficacy of breast cancer screening for digital mammography. The average age of patients who performed breast cancer screening was 57.7 years (range 30 to 87 years), and the cancer detection rate was 26, with 4.6 cases per 1,000 people. According to the cancer detection rate by risk factor in patients who conducted breast cancer screening, breast cancer was found in patients without underlying diseases more than in patients with underlying diseases. Additional ultrasound examinations show that the gastronomic rate identified is 3.6%, which is relatively very low compared to that of the Film-Screen system.
