With rapid development of communication industry, the kinds of communication service vary. According to the increasing use of radio waves, the intelligent and effective radio monitoring system needs to be developed, which is replaced for previous radio monitoring system. Next-generation intelligent radio monitoring system based on ITU-R, Rule of wireless facilities, and Radio Waves Act is used, and which can accurately and effectively function as effective radio monitoring system through spectrum analysis of channel power, frequency deviation, offset, and an occupied frequency bandwidth(99% or x-dB), about the analog and digital signal in On-Air of V/UHF bandwidth. Main function of the system has an radio quality measurement, unwanted electromagnetic signals (spurious, harmonic) measurement, high-speed spectrum measurement, frequency usage efficiency investigation, illegal radio exploration, working monitoring, In this paper, we proposes radio quality measurement, high-speed spectrum measurement of next-generation intelligent radio monitoring system.
In this paper, a GNSS error generation simulator for Signal Quality Monitoring (SQM) is implemented by using Matlab based on mathematical models derived from the effect of GNSS signal and measurement errors. The GNSS signal measurement errors of interest in this paper include three cases such as Evil Wave Form (EWF), Multipath (MP) and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI). In order to verify the validity of the generated measurement errors, a simple form of metrics for detecting and monitoring GNSS errors is included in the simulator. The GNSS errors generated by the simulator are added to the GNSS measurement data from commercial GNSS receiver in real time, and then, the SQM is tested for various scenarios of each case configured by scenario setting of the user.
In this paper, we propose a method that measures quality of digital correlator. Quality of digital correlator in field of image composition of radio astronomy have as important position for acquisition of radio wave image with high precision. Digital correlator should have wide bandwidth and high precision to study on deep space. Digital correlator, therefore, should be designed to have high speed processing and high precision. But, real time measurement of quality of digital correlator using acquisition data is difficult to compare accuracy of result because digital correlator should process a large quantity of data with high speed. Measurement method of quality, also, has intricate implementation of experiment equipment. this paper present methods that compose experiment equipment without external installation easily and verify quality of digital correlator perfectly.

High-frequency (HF) radar measures sea surface currents from the radio waves transmitted and received by antenna on land. Since the data quality of HF radar measurements sensitively depend on the radio wave environment around antenna, Antenna Pattern Measurements (APM) plays an important role in evaluating the accuracy of measured surface currents. In this study, APM was performed by selecting the times when the background noise level around antenna was high and low, and radial data were generated by applying the ideal pattern and measured pattern. The measured antenna pattern for each case was verified with the current velocity data collected by drifters. The radial velocity to which the ideal pattern was applied was not affected by the background noise level around antenna. However, the radial velocity obtained with APM in the period of high background noise was significantly lower in quality than the radial velocity in a low noise environment. It is recomended that APM be carried out in consideration of the radio wave environment around antenna, and that the applied result be compared and verified with the current velocity measurements by drifters. If it is difficult to re-measure APM, we suggest using radial velocity in generating total vector with the ideal pattern through comparative verification, rather than poorly measured patterns, for better data quality.
In this paper, we propose a new algorithm to improve the accuracy of the Wi-Fi access point (AP) positioning technique. The proposed algorithm based on evaluating the trustworthiness of the signal strength quality of each measurement node is superior to other existing AP positioning algorithms, such as the centroid, weighted centroid, multilateration, and radio distance ratio methods, owing to advantages such as reduction of distance errors during positioning, reduction of complexity, and ease of implementation. To validate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we conducted experiments in a complex indoor environment with multiple walls and obstacles, multiple office rooms, corridors, and lobby, and measured the corresponding AP signal strength value at several specific points based on their coordinates. Using the proposed algorithm, we can obtain more accurate positioning results of the APs for use in research or industrial applications, such as finding rogue APs, creating radio maps, or estimating the radio frequency propagation properties in an area.

The most important criterion for achieving the maximum performance in a wireless mesh network (WMN) is to limit the interference within the network. For this purpose, especially in a multi-radio network, the best option is to use non-overlapping channels among different radios within the same interference range. Previous works that have considered non-overlapping channels in IEEE 802.11a as the basis for performance optimization, have considered the link quality across all channels to be uniform. In this paper, we present a measurement-based study of link quality across all channels in an IEEE 802.11a-based indoor WMN test bed. Our results show that the generalized assumption of uniform performance across all channels does not hold good in practice for an indoor environment and signal quality depends on the geometry around the mesh routers.
In this paper, an Ad-hoc Routing Protocol which works in wireless Ad-hoc communication networks with multiple radios and multiple channels, and controls call admission based on bandwidth measurement is proposed. Unlike the conventional Ad-hoc node with a single radio using a single channel, an Ad-hoc node of the protocol proposed, MCQosR(Multiple Channel Quality of Service Routing), has multiple radios and uses multiple channels, which makes full duplex transmission between wireless Ad-hoc nodes, and reduces the intra interference on a route. Also, a fixed channel only for reception at each node enables the measurement of the available bandwidth, which is used to control the call admission for QoS provision. The performance of MCQosR is verified by simulation.

Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF MS) is one of the powerful methods that enable analysis of small molecules as well as large molecules up to about 500,000 Da without severe fragmentation. MALDI-TOF MS, thus, has been a very useful an analytical tool for the confirmation of synthetic molecules, probing PTMs, and identifying structures of a given protein. In recent nuclear medicine, MALDI-TOF MS liner ion mode helps researcher calculate the average number of chelator(or linkage) per an antibody conjugate, such as DOTA-(or DFO-) trastuzumab for labeling a medical radioisotope. This simple technique can be utilized to improve the labeling method and control the quality at the development of antibody-based radiopharmaceuticals, which is very effected to diagnosis and therapy for in vivo tumor cells, with radioisotopes like $^{89}Zr$, $^{64}Cu$, and 177Lu. To minimize the error, MALDI-TOF MS measurement is repeatedly performed for each sample in this study, and external calibration is carried out after data collection.
Recently, the transition from conventional analog broadcasting to digital broadcasting has been proceeding as a result of the advance in digital multimedia broadcasting technique. In radio broadcasting, Eureka-147 DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) was decided as the standard system of digital radio broadcasting in Korea. In addition to CD quality audio, a variety of data services and excellent performance in mobile reception can be served by DAB, and DAB was evolved into DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) in Korea for the purpose of emphasizing moving picture multimedia service by DAB. In case of digital broadcasting, it is absolutely essential to measure the BER(Bit Error Rate) in the received signal in order to evaluate the coverage obtained by a transmitter and the quality of the received signal. In this paper, we propose efficient subchannel data structure and BER measurement algorithm. and then verify it by laboratory experiments. With a proposed method, the synchronization for BER measurement is easily obtained and especially the exact results can be obtained by classifying the lost bits which are included in the reception-failed CIFs(Common Interleaved Frame) into errors. This makes the proposed BER measurement system especially appropriate to DMB in which the frequent changes in channel status caused by mobile reception environment exist.
High-resolution satellite images are used in the fields of mapping, natural disaster forecasting, agriculture, ocean-based industries, infrastructure, and environment, and there is a progressive increase in the development and demand for the applications of high-resolution satellite images. Users of the satellite images desire accurate quality of the provided satellite images. Moreover, the distinguishability of each image captured by an actual satellite varies according to the atmospheric environment and solar angle at the captured region, the satellite velocity and capture angle, and the system noise. Hence , NIIRS must be measured for all captured images. There is a significant deficiency in professional human resources and time resources available to measure the NIIRS of few hundred images that are transmitted daily. Currently, NIIRS is measured every few months or even few years to assess the aging of the satellite as well as to verify and calibrate it [3]. Therefore, we develop an algorithm that can measure the national image interpretability rating scales (NIIRS) of a typical satellite image rather than an artificial target satellite image, in order to automatically assess its quality. In this study, the criteria for automatic edge region extraction are derived based on the previous works on manual edge region extraction [4][5], and consequently, we propose an algorithm that can extract the edge region. Moreover, RER and H are calculated from the extracted edge region for automatic edge region extraction. The average NIIRS value was measured to be 3.6342±0.15321 (2 standard deviations) from the automatic measurement experiment on a typical satellite image, which is similar to the result extracted from the artificial target.
