저고도 방공 레이더 최적 배치에 관한 연구 (Study on the Optimal Location of Low Altitude Air Defense Radar)

  • As observed in the recent war, suppression of enemy air defense operation is one of the major tactics, simultaneously conducted with high payoff target. Specifically, our air defense operation should be properly constructed, since the operating environment of our forces mostly consists with mountainous terrain, which makes detections of the enemy difficult. The effective arrangements of low altitude air defense radars can be suggested as a way of improving the detection capability of our forces. In this paper, we consider the location problem of low altitude air defense radar, and formulate it as an Integer Programming. Specifically, we surveyed the previous researches on facility location problems and applied two particularly relevant models(MCLP, MEXCLP) to our problem. The terrain factor was represented as demand points in the models. We verified the optimal radar locations for operational situations through simulation model which depicts simple battle field. In the simulation model, the performance of optimal radar locations are measured by the enemy detection rate. With a series of experiments, we may conclude that when locating low altitude air defense radars, it is important to consider the detection probability of radar. We expect that this finding may be helpful to make a more effective air defense plan.

  • Today, detecting the location of moving object has been traced as various methods in our world. In this paper, we preset the system to improve the estimation accuracy utilizing detail localization using radar sensor based on WSN and situational awareness for a calibration (context aware) database, Rail concept. A variety of existing location tracking method has a problem with receiving of data and accuracy as tracking methodology, and since these located data are the only data to be collected for location tracing, the context aware or monitering as the surrounding environment is limited. So, in this paper, we enhanced the distance aware accuracy using radar sensor utilizing the Doppler effect among the distance measuring method, estimated the location using the Triangulation algorithm. Also, since we composed the environment data(temperature, illuminancem, humidity, noise) to entry of the database, it can be utilized in location-based service according to the later action information inference and positive context decision. In order to verify the validity of the suggested method, we give a few random situation and built test bed of designed node, and over the various test we proved the utilizing the context information through route tracking of moving and data processing.

소형 무인기 탐지를 위한 패시브 레이더망 최적 배치 연구 (Study on the Optimal Deployment of the Passive Radar System for Detecting Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles)

  • Current low-altitude radar system often fails to detect small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) because of their small radar cross section (RCS) compared with larger targets. As a potential alternative, a passive bistatic radar system has been considered. We study an optimal deployment problem for the passive bistatic radar system. We model this problem as a covering problem, and develop an integer programming model. The objective of the model is to maximize coverage of a passive bistatic radar system. Our model takes into account factors specific to a bistatic radar system, including bistatic RCS and transmitter-receiver pair coverage. Considering bistatic RCS instead of constant RCS is important because the slight difference of RCS value for small UAVs could significantly influence the detection probability. The paired radar coverage is defined by using the concept of gradual coverage and cooperative coverage to represent a realistic environment.

  • Locating reinforcing bars, in particular to know their accurate depths and horizontal distances, is very important in radar inspection of concrete structures. By the way, it is not easy for an accurate depth and horizontal distance estimation of reinforcing bars in concrete structures by the radar test. This problem can be solved by synthetic aperture radar method. To improve the vertical and horizontal resolution of reinforcing bars in concrete, synthetic aperture radar method was examined in this study.

ZCZ 부호를 이용한 상호간섭에 강인한 차량용 확산대역 레이더 방식 (Mutual Interference-resilient Vehicular Spread Spectrum Radar Using ZCZ Code)

  • We propose vehicular spread spectrum (SS) radar robust to mutual interference using zero correlation zone (ZCZ) code. SS radar schemes have been employed for vehicular radar systems due to their outstanding correlation property. However, this superiority is based on a premise that timing among codes is completely synchronized. In the practical driving environment, timing mismatch among radar signals is inevitable because the radar signals of several vehicles are independently transmitted at each different location and each timing and thus each radar signal is received at different timing. This timing offset is the main cause of orthogonality destruction among codes and thus radar signals from other vehicles become mutual interference. In order to solve this problem, we find out the new property of ZCZ code which maintains the complete orthogonality except to timing offset corresponding to chips (pulses) of multiple of 4 and employ ZCZ code to SS radar systems. Simulation results show the proposed scheme achieve better performance compared with the conventional SS radar scheme using pseudo code or gold code.

  • 주파수, 펄스폭, 펄스반복주기 등의 정보를 식별변수로 이용하는 기존의 레이더 식별 기법들은 현대전의 고밀도 다중 신호환경에서 식별모호성이 발생하는 문제점을 가진다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하고 전자전 지원 시스템의 식별성능을 향상시키기 위해 레이더의 스캔패턴 정보를 활용하는 식별 기법에 관한 연구가 지속되고 있다. 이 과정에서 레이더 스캔패턴 정보와 다양한 수신환경을 반영하는 정확한 레이더 수신신호의 확보가 우선적으로 요구되나, 실제 전자전 환경에서 직접 수집하거나 모의환경을 구성하여 획득하는 방법은 현실적으로 많은 어려움이 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 실제 전자전 지원 시스템에서 수신되는 레이더 신호의 세기가 결정되는 과정을 모델링한 후, 이를 토대로 다양한 운용변수와 수신환경을 고려한 레이더 수신신호 생성 기법을 제안한다. 그리고 대표적인 스캔패턴에 대해 레이더 수신신호를 생성한 후 수신 위치에 따른 신호의 특성을 자세하게 분석한다.

ALGORITHM FOR WEBER PROBLEM WITH A METRIC BASED ON THE INITIAL FARE

  • We introduce a non-Euclidean metric for transportation systems with a defined minimum transportation cost (initial fare) and investigate the continuous single-facility Weber location problem based on this metric. The proposed algorithm uses the results for solving the Weber problem with Euclidean metric by Weiszfeld procedure as the initial point for a special local search procedure. The results of local search are then checked for optimality by calculating directional derivative of modified objective functions in finite number of directions. If the local search result is not optimal then algorithm solves constrained Weber problems with Euclidean metric to obtain the final result. An illustrative example is presented.

  • The evidence of the Cargo tank volume is very important between Buyer and Seller for agreement each other for LNG Ship. CTS(Custody Transfer System) Radar type level gauging sensor to be measured for cargo volume. The data of Trim & List sensor to be compensated for measuring data which is original data of the CTS sensor. The latest days, the Buyer would have posed a problem both the location and the accuracy of trim/list sensor specially neared final stage of the ship's delivery. So, we would like to report the introducing to the trim/list sensor and the confirmation of actual location for the trim/list sensor.

원격 비접촉식 목표 추적형 생체신호측정시스템에 관한 연구 (A study on a target-tracking and noncontact type biosignal measurment system Using IR-Radar and Pan-Tilt system)

  • 전 세계적으로 통신발달, 수명연장 등의 이유로 1인 가구가 급증하고 있으며 그에 따라 고독사 등의 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고 사생활 침해가 없이 혼자서도 건강한 삶을 유지할 수 있도록 본 논문은 IR-레이더 및 레이저 변위센서를 이용하여 원거리 비접촉 생체신호 측정이 가능한 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 시스템은 원거리에서 비접촉으로 생체신호를 측정하는 방법으로, 실내 위치추적을 위한 IR 레이더 시스템과 비접촉 생체신호 측정을 위한 변위센서, 그리고 센서를 목표지점으로 이동하는 구동부로 구성되며 기존의 1m에 불과하던 생체신호 측정거리를 8m이상으로 늘릴 수 있는 시스템이다. 제안된 시스템을 실험을 통하여 타당성을 검증한 결과 정상적으로 측정이 가능하였다.

편대비행 표적식별을 위한 효과적인 ISAR 영상 합성 방법 (Efficient Fusion Method to Recognize Targets Flying in Formation)

  • 본 논문에서는 편대비행 중인 다수의 표적을 식별하기 위하여 기존의 표적들을 분리시키는 기법을 이용하는 대신 PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization) 알고리즘을 이용하여 미리 학습되어 있던 각 표적의 역합성 개구면 레이다(Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar: ISAR) 영상들을 합성하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법에서 ISAR 영상의 합성은 표적의 수와 관측 각도 및 표적의 위치를 변수로 하는 비선형문제를 최적화함으로써 수행된다. 추적 레이다를 통하여 관측 각도가 추정 됨을 가정한 후, 표적의 수와 위치는 PSO로 템플릿 매칭(template matching)을 최적화 하여 추정된다. 축소된 크기의 F-16을 사용한 시뮬레이션 결과, 편대비행 중인 표적들의 ISAR 영상과 동일한 ISAR 영상이 합성됨으로써 제안된 기법의 효용성이 검증되었다.
