상용 유한 요소 프로그램을 이용한 차량 조향 장치의 랙과 피니언의 강도 해석 (A Strength Analysis of Rack and Pinion of Steering Gear Assay using a Commercial Finite Element Program)

  • In general, the strength of gears is calculated using the formula of AGMA or JGMA. But these formula can not be applied directly to the strength calculation of the rack and pinion of steering gear assay, because of complex tooth and contact shapes. So Lewis bending stress and Hertzian contact stress formula are generally used for the design of rack and pinion of steering gear assay. But these formula do not also give the exact stress of rack and pinion. In this paper, comparing the finite element analysis results and the experimentally measured values, it is shown that the finite element modeling technique of the rack and pinion of steering assay is reasonable.

부유망식과 수하식 양성방법에 따른 참굴(Crassostrea gigas)의 영양상태 (Evaluation of Nutrients during Rack and Bag Culture or Suspended Culture of Pacific Oyster Crassostrea gigas)

  • The mineral contents, and free amino acid, and fatty acid composition of rack and bag or suspended cultured oysters Crassostrea gigas were compared. The moisture content did not change much from 82.8% to 86.3% in the different culture methods. The glycogen level was low 4.7% during rack and bag culture but high 7.2% during suspended culture. The sodium level was the highest during suspended culture, while copper and zinc level were highest during rack and bag culture. The taurine level was 1,385-1,375 mg/100 g in oyster cultured using the rack and bag method, but that in the market sample was lowest at 1,015.8 mg/100 g. Hydroxyproline, glutamic acid, proline, glycine, and alanine were detected at high levels in the experimental oysters. The polyunsaturated fatty acid content was similar among samples. The docosahexaenoic acid level was 14% with rack and bag culture and 12% with suspended culture, whereas the eicosapentaenoic acid level was 15% with rack and bag culture and 20% with suspended culture. The atherogenic index (AI), thrombogenicity index (TI), and hypocholesterolemic/ hypercholesterolemic (h/H) ratio were important factors in the nutritional evaluation. The AI and TI values were 0.5-0.2, and the h/H ratio were 2.0 and 2.4 with the rack and bag and suspended culture, respectively.

성능위주 소화설비 적용을 위한 표준랙크의 화재확산속도 평가 (Evaluation on Fire Spread Speed of Standard Rack in Korea for Performance based Fire Extinguishing System)

  • 물품이 수직 집약적인 형태로 적재되는 랙크식 창고는 화재발생 시 화염의 급속한 상승으로 인해 그 피해가 매우 심각하다. 이에 ESFR 및 In-Rack 스프링클러, 수직 및 수평차단막 등, 다양한 소화설비 적용을 통해 화재확산 억제에 노력하고 있으나 랙크의 크기 및 적재밀도, 적재물품의 종류 등, 매우 다양한 구성조건으로 인해 적절한 소화설비 선정에 어려움이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현장조사 및 설문조사 등을 통해 국내 랙크식 창고 실정을 반영한 표준랙크를 제작하였으며, 발화위치 조건에 따른 화재특성 확인을 위해 실규모화재시험을 수행하였다. 이를 통해 도출된 화재확산속도는 향후, 개발 및 적용 예정 소화설비들의 성능비교를 위한 기초자료로서 유용하게 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

랙크식 물류창고의 스프링클러설비 소화성능에 관한 실험연구 (Experimental Study on the Suppression Performance of Sprinkler Systems in Rack-type Warehouses)

  • 랙크식 창고 내에는 화재하중이 높은 물품이 수직으로 조밀하게 적재되어 있어 창고의 내부에서 화재가 발생되는 경우 현재의 스프링클러설비에 의해 유효하게 소화되기 어렵다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실물 규모의 랙크 구조물을 구축하고, 구조물 내부의 스프링클러헤드 종류 및 배치에 따른 화재실험을 통해 스프링클러설비에 의한 소화유효성을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 랙크식 창고의 내부의 화재를 유효하게 진압하기 위해서는 방수량 115 LPM 이상의 스프링클러헤드를 사용해야 하며, 동 스프링클러헤드를 높이 기준이 아닌 랙크 각 단마다 설치해야하고, 각 단의 가연물더미의 대각선 모서리 위치에 설치될 필요가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

관광호텔 객실 공표 가격과 실거래 가격, 수용 가격과의 인구통계적 변수별 차이 - 대전지역 특급호텔 종사원을 중심으로 - (Differences of Rack Rate, Transaction Rate and Acceptability Rate by Demographic Variable in Tourist Hotels)

  • This study is to explore how the employees of tourist hotels perceive moderate room rates and price acceptance. Sampling was taken among employees for deluxe hotels at Yusong in Daejeon. A total of 150 samples were distributed and 124 valid samples were selected for this research. Answers were processed by SPSS 15.0 after data coding. The results of study are as follows; First, annual average sales price of hotel rooms is \99,223, and the rack rates take up 49.7% of the transaction rates. Second, the rack rates which many employees think moderate are in the range of $50.09{\sim}75.13%(\100,000{\sim}150,000)$ of the rack rates. Third, many employees consider $40.07{\sim}50.09%(\80,000{\sim}100,000)$ of the rack rates as the moderate acceptability rates. Finally, the differences of fair rates by age and annual income were noticeable. These hotels ought to narrow the gap between rack rates and transaction rates. This study has a meaning to draw up a new plan for the room rate policy.

Shear anchor behavior and design of an embedded concrete rack rail track for mountain trains

  • In this study, a novel mountain train system was developed that can run along a steep gradient of 180 ‰ and sharp curve with a minimum radius of 10 m. For this novel mountain train, an embedded precast concrete rack rail track was implemented to share the track with an automobile road and increase constructability in mountainous regions. The embedded rack rail track is connected to a hydraulically stabilized base (HSB) layer with shear anchors, which must have sufficient longitudinal resistance because they bear most of the traction forces originated from the rack rail and longitudinal loads owing to the steep gradient. In addition, the damage to the shear anchor parts, including the surrounding concrete, must be strictly limited under the service load because the maintenance of shear anchors inside the track is extremely difficult after installation. In this study, the focus was made on the shear anchor behavior and design an embedded rack rail track, considering the serviceability and ultimate limit states. Accordingly, the design loads for mountain trains were established, and the serviceability criteria of the anchor were proposed. Subsequently, the resistance and damage of the shear anchors were evaluated and analyzed based on the results of several finite element analyses. Finally, the design method of the shear anchors for the embedded rack rail track was established and verified.

  • Rack is a place to store products. Workers pick products from rack storage. After picking up, workers move to another location by forklift. Driving speed, worker condition, and number/frequency of operation is responsible for forklift accidents. When an accident occurs, products get damaged. Therefore, it is important to prevent one. As the research result, To prevent forklift accidents, the minimum order quantity, the minimum number of operations, and low speed operation are required.

국내 발생지진에 의한 물류창고 강재 적재설비의 내진성능 평가 (Seismic Performance of Steel Industrial Storage Racks Subjected to Korea Earthquakes)

  • This study experimentally and analytically examines the seismic vulnerability of steel rack storage frames subjected to Korea earthquakes (2016 Gyeongju earthquake and 2017 Pohang earthquake). To achieve this aim, this study selects a three-story, one-bay steel rack frame with a typical configuration of rack frame in Korea. Firstly, the local behavior for frame components is examined by performing monotonic and/or cyclic load tests and the global response and dynamic characteristics of the subject rack frame are investigated by conducting a shaking table test. The analytical model of the rack frame is then created based on the experimental results and is used to perform nonlinear time history analyses with recorded Korea earthquakes. The seismic demand of the rack frame is considerably affected by the spectral acceleration response, instead of peak ground accelerations (peak floor accelerations). Moreover, the collapse fragility curve of the rack frame is developed using incremental dynamic analyses for the Gyeongju and Pohang earthquakes. Fragility results indicate that the ground motion characteristics of these earthquakes do not significantly affect the frame vulnerability at the collapse state.

FDS를 이용한 랙크식 창고의 화재감지 개선에 관한 연구 (Improvement of Fire Detection in Rack-type Warehouses using FDS)

  • 랙크식 창고에서 화재가 발생되는 경우 건물이 전소되거나 붕괴되는 상태까지 발생된다. 이러한 현상이 발생되는 이유는 랙크식 창고가 층고가 높고, 물품을 수직으로 적재하고 있어 화재 시 천장에 설치되어 있는 감지기에 의한 조기감지가 어렵고, 그로 인하여 초기에 소화하지 못하기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 수치해석 프로그램인 Fire dynamic simulator (FDS)를 이용하여 랙크식 창고 내에서 화재 시 발생되는 열과 연기의 유동을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 통하여 랙크식 창고 내에서 조기 화재감지를 위한 화재감지기의 최적 설치조건을 확인하였다. 그 결과 랙크식 창고에서 조기 화재감지를 위하여 열과 연기의 복합적인 감지가 필요하며, 복합형 감지기를 랙크의 3 level 마다 설치해야 하며, 정온식 감지기는 랙크식 창고에 적합하지 않은 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 파이프랙 구조물은 고온 고압의 파이프를 지지하며 플랜트의 운전 안전성을 좌우하는 매우 중요 구조물이다. 따라서, 파이프랙 구조물의 손상은 산업 전반에 부정적인 파급효과를 가져옴과 동시에 인명 및 재산상의 막대한 피해까지 가져오게 된다. 특히, 파이프랙 구조물은 외부환경에 노출되어 있어, 구조물의 적절한 설계 및 유지관리를 위하여 환경적 영향에 의한 거동 특성을 평가할 필요가 있다. 따라서, 가장 널리 설계되어지는 하나의 파이프랙 구조물을 대상 구조물로 선정하여 열-구조 연성해석을 실시하여 파이프랙 구조물의 온도분포와 열응력을 평가하였다. 외부 환경적 요인으로는 국내의 여수지역과 중동의 사우디 지역을 고려하여 파이프의 운전조건과 함께 외부환경 영향인자에 대한 고려 필요성을 검증하였다.
